Chooooo choooo! The Hogwarts Express has arrived at last (or has it???). Either way, you're almost to Hogwarts, so get off the train and get going to the school!
First years, follow the groundskeeper to the lake. Second years and up, go for the horseless (thestral-led) carriages. Don't forget anything on the train, because you won't see it for another 9 months!
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Oh okay." She said to the girl after she introduced herself. That's was all. She still didn't know much about this girl and she wasn't willing to waste her time telling her it was a pleasure to meet her just incase their meeting turned out to be a horrible experience.
Good, now the girl put away her sunglasses so it wouldn't be all weird anymore. She would probably have to ask her about them a little later on.
"Oh these two? He's Dylan and she's Ari--er...well...Ariella but she tells people they can call her Ari so I guess that will be fine. " Oh but then there was another girl she knew...and another boy and well...okay maybe she would just stop there. The girl would know the others soon enough and besides, she was only asking about the two that stood next to her.

And.. Alice heard a very familiar voice calling her name. "Melanie?" She called out the other voice before spotting her friend. "MEL! I'm over here!" The lioness frantically waved her arms from where she was sitting, leaning to the left and right so that Melanie could see her in the middel of the circle of people that had surrounded her. "Mel. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Her friend looked pretty unscathed.
GOOD. Her pretty princess could not be hurt. Or Alice would throw a fit.

As the case was, however, it only made her feel more panicky on the inside. She didn't show it in her face - her eyes always lied though - and she swiftly made her way over with Elodie while offering that little one a reassuring squeeze. "I'm glad you and Gemini are alright," she whispered to the girl, mostly so she knew that Kurumi hadn't forgotten about her.
Violet eyes back on Alice for now, they widened and nearly popped out of her head when she said her leg was broken. BROKEN? Oh Merlin, yep...for sure Kurumi was not going to be able to fix this nor did she even want to try. Anyone remember what happened historically with a certain Lockhart? Yeah, knowing Kurumi and her tendencies to melt things on first goes with spells under pressure....just no.
"Um, here, have another cookie...all of you have a cookie if you want," she said as she passed them out to the group present. "No one is going to die," Kurumi said, trying to laugh it off. "Remember, Headmaster Tate gave us all the order not to do so." Or, well, the former Headmaster Tate did. He would always be Headmaster to Kurumi though - now they had a HeadMISTRESS and that was entirely different.
"I really don't want to move you, just in case we make things worse on accident," Kurumi said softly to Alice, glancing around and her violet eyes lying on the boy present. She didn't recognize him, but his arms looked sturdy enough... "Elodie, no one is getting anything chopped off," she said, her eyes snapping back to the girl and giving her hand another reassuring squeeze.
By this time, Walnut had jumped out of Kurumi's arms - seeing as she was preoccupied and not able to worship him properly anyway, and was now strutting over towards a young girl (iBeJenn) and rubbing himself up against her leg for a moment before strutting over towards Alice. Sure, he was a selfish cat at times, but he DID have a heart. And, well, this one had never upset him to the point that he wanted to pee on anyone, so love and comfort he gave as long as she scratched him behind the ears.
Kurumi's head snapped to when she heard the new Groundskeeper's booming voice. Right...accounted for. Kurumi was working on that and since Alice was no minor injury...it meant that they were going to have to move her.
Kurumi was suddenly reminded of Professor Zookara and his first aid lesson in her first term. Oh how she missed that man and his rubber ducks...
Still, Kurumi did NOT want to move Alice, but since she was being given no choice and seeing how crowded and insane the platform was...leaving her here was also dangerous. "Okay, Alice, hold still for a moment while I get a bandage on you." Kurumi removed her wand from her robe's pocket and swooshed it over the young lioness' leg. "Inurio Bani," she whispered as a large bandage was conjured out of the air and wrapped itself around her leg for added support. "Try not to move that leg at all...or either of your legs, okay? Let us carry you over to the Groundskeeper."
Us. Yes. Us. Her eyes darted to the boy again. "Can you take her under the arms?"
--
And THEN the Groundskeeper was asking for Prefects to get their housemates together. Well, first things first....and that was getting Alice to him. Waddling along with the small girl tucked into her arms - sorry Elodie, we had to let go of your hand for this - Kurumi approached the Groundskeeper and glanced over her shoulder.
"Sir, I managed a simple bandage on her leg, but she thinks it is broken," Kurumi explained as she continued to hold Alice's legs a little higher in the air. Kurumi would put Alice down, but if they just needed to pick her back up again it would only increase the chance for more injury...right?
See, this was why Kurumi was NOT going to be a Healer...at least not for people.
Melanie saw Alice waving her arms and calling out and instantly relaxed a little bit, making her way through the other students and stuffing the rest of her blanket into her bag, not caring that she was crushing her favorite teddy bear. But what was the blonde doing sitting? Melanie finally reached Alice and stood amongst the other people there. Did she know them? Not at all. But what confused Melanie more was how the girl was asking if Melanie was okay when it was CLEAR that the blonde was not.
Her brown eyes widened. ”I’m fine, Alice, you are definitely not fine,” Melanie said quickly, looking around. Where was that professor looking like person who had said something about help? It was clear that Alice needed help. Very clear.
Then there was that girl. And her cat. Melanie was distracted from what the elder girl was saying because the cat was rubbing against her leg. Melanie heard the word cookie but her stomach was too fluttery and tied up in uncomfortable knots to eat anything. The cat rubbing against her leg was actually a bit relaxing and she was going to bend down to pet the creature when it walked away.
Well, it was walking towards Alice, so that was good, right? Looking at Alice just sitting there though made Melanie so much more nervous. ”She’ll be alright, right?” Melanie asked nervously, her brown eyes darting around this place looking for Landon. “It’s just a broken leg?”
Oh, Alice’s leg was bandaged. She looked at the cat that moved away though with a slight frown. Couldn’t she cuddle it? It looked huggable or something and she really needed to hug something. Or someone. Melanie just really wanted a hug right now because this was definitely not how she envisioned starting Hogwarts. She was told it would be fun. Not horrifying. And Alice was being moved!
Melanie wanted to follow but she just stood there, unsure of what to do.
What did she do? Was she supposed to just stand there?

Robert sniffed. Looks like Mum was right i'm getting sick. great. He wondered where his tissues were stashed in his trunk, and if it was worth emptying out his trunk on the platform to find them. Nope... He rolled his trunk over to the others, waiting to be delivered up to the castle, and then gazed around, trying to find a sign that directed to the boats the first years would take.

:: "Ah geez, yell a little louder, the dead may have not heard you!" She quipped back under her breath as she adjusted the purple bag on her hip. The strap was slipping and that was irritating her. If she could get her hands on some thread and needle, she could fix it quick.
She decided to follow the group she was trying to make some small talk with. ::
Sebastian smiled at the young girl as she approached and he could see her lips moving but through all the noise of the students. He didn't quite catch what she said. "I'm sorry. Did you say something?"

This was a nightmare! He was not used to this many people. Yeah, he had lived in a commune for twenty years but that was only with fifty people. There was well over a hundred kids here. It was a little overwhelming and apparently Millie thought so too. His little wombat was cowering under his feet and Sebastian bent down and picked her up just as one of the Prefect's came over to him with an injured girl.
A simple movement of his wand and a stretcher appeared, floating beside the two girls. "Lay her down on that." Another small movement and he conjured a splint as well. "I'm not that great at healing so I think it's better I leave it up to the Healer." Perhaps someone should get her down here. It would help if he knew where she was. "Can you put the splint on for me?" he asked raising his eyebrows at her.

Another firstie. There were so many of them! Sebastian gave the young girl a smile. "Nice to meet you Angel." He was about to introduce himself but Millie began to squirm in his arms and the girl didn't look so hot. Perhaps he could take her mind off what was going on around her. "Hey."

Reason: mixed up groundkeeper and gamekeeper
Another firstie. There were so many of them! Sebastian gave the young girl a smile. "Nice to meet you Angel." He was about to introduce himself but Millie began to squirm in his arms and the girl didn't look so hot. Perhaps he could take her mind off what was going on around her. "Hey."

Noticing him start to speak again the young girl smiled.
"Nice to meet you too" then she heard him talk about taking the wombat, and realized after he said it that it was definitely the noise bugging her. Angel's eyes were twinkling with the idea of taking care of the cute little wombat, she loved animals. "Sure" she replied happily... "Um... what do you want me to do?"

Suddenly: Ronnie.
GOSHDARNIT. "There's the happy girl!" Adam joked as Ronnie arrived back. Just trying to lighten the mood.
Ariana landed swiftly on her feet.. well kinda, the wind got knocked out of her and she stumbled but she landed better then most, she then looked around looking for the first year "Faye? Faye where are you?" she said looking for the girl
"Thank Merlin you're not hurt." she said with a smile. She hated to see most of the students in pain. The nurse would probably be pretty busy...unless some Healers came to help out.
"Amelia?" Ronnie asked. She glanced around, searching the platform. "No, I haven't. I'm sorry." she said as she turned back to Isaac, a frown on her face. He seemed like he hadn't been seeing her that much, he probably missed her a lot. Ronnie would too if she was in his place.
"I jus' hope the healer or someone comes soon or checks on people." Where were they anyway? The ministry had appeared on the train and the headmistress was too! Smiling back at her he noded "Te used te portkeys I guess 'tis like walkin' on air."
Nodding at her question, "She was near me when the train stopped...but I haven' seen her since." Chewing on his lip he wondered where she was now. "Thank ye. Are ye sure yer okay?" he asked hoping she was going to be! "Not dizzy are ye?"
Appearing in Hogsmeade on the platform, Isaac immediately looked around for Amelia. She'd been nearby but wasn't sure if she'd grabbed the same portkey or not. He stumbled a little as he hit the ground but managed to remain upright. "AMELIA." he called out looking for her. She had to be here somewhere right?
He'd followed the directions of the headmistress who had told everyone to find a seat and taken hold of the portkey when the Recard guy had appeared. Now he just wanted to find Amelia!
"I really hate portkeys," Amelia groaned as she staggered slightly in her heels. She definitely shouldn't have worn them today. She just knew it. She didn't even get a chance to sit down on the Express, thereby relieving the pressure on her feet. And now she'd be expected to stand for Merlin knew how long!
At least she was with Isaac though. Well kind of. His back was turned towards her at the moment but he was calling out for her at least.
Sighing in resignation she toddled her way over to him, slipping her arm through his and leaning her head against him. Hopefully he would realize it was her and not freak out over the sudden lack of personal bubble like he'd done a few times before.
Please excuse her, she's being a little excitable!

Ameliah looked up at Adam. "Yeah?" But then Ronnie came back, and obviously he didn't want to say in front of Rons. Ameliah glanced at her Gryffie friend concernedly if thats a word. "Feel a little better?"

OOC: . . .YOUR BAAAAACK!!!!!!
Ameliah watched as another person fell with a disturbing THUD. That must've hurt. Ameliah rushed over to the girl. "Are you OK? Do you need anything?" she asked. She may not be a prefect or in the staff, but Ameliah was going to do her darnedest to help.

She beamed when he started laughing again. This was good because it meant that he hadn't been put off by all her questions. For some reason some adults found her questions unbearable and would make any excuse to get her to go away.
Oooooo...."So then you're a shiny Ground's Keeper." It made sense. When something was new it was usually very shiny from lack of use. She stared at the shiny ground's keeper for a moment before giving her exact views on him being as new as she was. "And you being new makes you kinda like me!! Maybe we'll both see the squid then we won't be able to say we don't know much about it." She would have suggested throwing one of the kids in to test whether or not it really was man-eating but uh...she decided against that...

Ganymede could feel her bag slipping down her side. "Curse this bag strap... stupid bag.. stupid old sack." She once again re-adjusted the strap that was ripping slowly. As soon as I can, I will either fix this bag or snatch a new one. she thought to herself while trying to keep some sort of cool composure. ::
"Oh that game...no...I couldn't get to see it..." and the reason behind that was really stupid too. "Daddy doesn't trust me to go to the games that have the potential to be contre...contro....controversial..." was that the word he used? She shrugged. "When he got home he said it was a good thing I didn't go because I probably would have thrown something at the Umpire man." and after hearing how the match went she couldn't help but agree with him. She didn't have the patience for idiots who made bad calls.
Watching the girl fiddle with her bag was just a little disracting. After a while she spoke up about that. "Did your bag get messed up during the whole train mess?" She didn't know what had become of her luggage. The most she knew was that Felix was safely in her arms.
She hoped nothing broke...that would have been a little annoying.

"Hey."
he said in a gentle tone. "Do you think you can look after my wombat for me? All this noise is scaring her."

James saw the groundskeeper and groaned. "Sorry guys, but....I'm gonna have to leave you...I'm in too much pain...I'll be over there..." he said to his friends, and stopped leaning on Anya, and let his uninjured arm wipe his tears before wrapping around his arm around his ribs again as he stumbled towards the groundskeeper.
"S-sir....does a possibly broken arm and possibly cracked and/or broken ribs count as serious?" he asked, out of breath.

Milton swiftly drifted down to the ground and landed smoothly onto his feet. He had had practice, unlike most people, apparently. So he didn't look like an idiot, like some of the students who landed face-first. Hah.
Since Milton wasn't a prefect, he found it highly unnecessary for him to stop and check to see if people were okay. His only job was to make a rocking quidditch team, not help people. Pfff. So, he straightened his tie and made his way towards the horseless carriages.

Suddenly: Ronnie.
GOSHDARNIT. "There's the happy girl!" Adam joked as Ronnie arrived back. Just trying to lighten the mood.
Ronnie laughed at what Adam said and shrugged at Ameliah's question. "Well, the sick feeling is gone. But my head still hurts real bad." she said as she gently took back Oliver and kissed his forehead. "You doing alright, sweetheart?" she asked, squeezing him tightly. She then realized something:
HIS TOY MOUSE WAS MISSING!
"Uh...I think Oliver dropped his toy mousie somewhere on the platform here..." she said. "I'm gonna go look. You two stay here." she said with a nod, walking off.
Okay. Where was the toy mouse? She sighed, looking around. "Do ya see him anywhere, Oliver?" she asked the kitten in her arms as she continued looking around.

Nodding at her question, "She was near me when the train stopped...but I haven' seen her since." Chewing on his lip he wondered where she was now. "Thank ye. Are ye sure yer okay?" he asked hoping she was going to be! "Not dizzy are ye?"
"Yeah, me too." she said, nodding. Hmm...they'd surely be popping up sometime soon, right? "Ahh, I see." she said. Meh. It didn't feel like that to her. Hopefully she'd never travel like that again.
"Ohh. Hmm..." Ronnie said. Where was she then? Getting her things, maybe? That could be it. "Yeah, I think I'm alright. I'm feeling a little better...well, the feeling sick part. My head still hurts like hell." she said with a big sigh. The throbbing was really ticking her off.

"Ahh, I see." she said. Meh. It didn't feel like that to her. Hopefully she'd get used to all that soon, because she was not happy traveling by Portkey at all now. She was NEVER doing that again!

Nodding, he glanced around again, looking for his girlfriend. Grinning lopsidedly he saw the look she gave about those portkeys. "If ye stay here I'll help ye te a carriage if ye want. I want te see if I can find Amelia. And hopefully Nell and Ed te."

He needed to go find Amelia, after making sure that Ronnie was okay and her kitten Isaac went to move again and nearly jumped out of his trainers when someone slipped their arm through his. Relaxing when he realized whose touch it was he took a deep breath and looked down at her, "There ye are. Are ye alright?"
He knew he should be helping others around the platform but with finally finding Amelia...or rather her finding him, he was more relieved she was there! "Did ye get hurt?"
He'd not had a chance to ask back on the train not when the train stopped suddenly nor when they'd all crowded into carriages to find seats to grab the portkeys and appear here!
