Chooooo choooo! The Hogwarts Express has arrived at last (or has it???). Either way, you're almost to Hogwarts, so get off the train and get going to the school!
First years, follow the groundskeeper to the lake. Second years and up, go for the horseless (thestral-led) carriages. Don't forget anything on the train, because you won't see it for another 9 months!
"Wait..." Elijah said, raising his fingers to his temples, clearly frustrated, "You mean to say that you are a girl and don't have a mirror," well he should have known she didn't have a mirror considering how she looked.
"Guh. Useless," he muttered to himself, but quite obviously within earshot of the NON-girl.
"DOES ANYONE HAVE A MIRROR?! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY," Elijah shouted out to the platform in general. There was PLENTY of girls on this platform. Surely ONE of them would have a mirror.
"ANYONE!?"

Em gritted her teeth as the guy talked. They were practically standing in a combat zone. There were people all around them with broken limbs and bleeding, and he was concerned with is appearance? He should have been helping the others, not preening. Useless? he just called her useless? She stood up and was prepared to flick her wand out and give him a good stinging hex, or better yet, a good punch to the face when she realized how bad of an idea that would be. She was already afraid the headmistress would kill her when she confessed about the name the kids were calling her, and Em didn't want to add fighting on the first day to that list. Plus, she was a seventh year, she was supposed to be setting a good example. Turning her back on him, she continued with her earlier task. She decided to just ignore him for now, but that boy better watch himself.
Sierra blinked when she felt Kennedy brush something off her shoulder. It was a small indication of how far they'd come with getting closer to one another. "I guess so," she said with a shrug. "I knew I should have just walked to school. I'm right back where I started from, after all." She looked down the road that led to her house. Her father would fly off the handle if he knew something had gone wrong with the train while she'd been on board. "My parents make me ride, since I'm a prefect," she said, "...and, I like to ride to see certain people." Even if those certain people like to sleep a lot.
Then she felt his fingers lace through hers, and she gave his hand a gentle squeeze before turning them in the direction of the carriages and tugging at him to come along. "Some nap," she jokingly said. "Well, everything was alright until the lights started flashing on and off. Then the train came to a screeching halt, and things started flying everywhere." She shrugged again. "Come on. Let's get a carriage together before all the good seats are taken."
Kennedy chuckled slightly. "I wonder what your father would say about all this?" he wondered out loud. Mr. Greingoth was obviously protective of her, both her parents were, but he could imagine Lafay's expression, it was the man's he was curious of. Certain people? Hehe. "Oh really? I wonder who those certain people are," he grinned, nudging her with his shoulder and wagging his eyebrows.
He glanced back at the commotion and then followed Sierra. It seemed to be calming down and they had to set the example of going to the carriages. Kennedy listened, a curious frown on his forehead. That was strange. He let go of the subject, though, when he felt something on his head. It was starting to rain. "Hold on," he said, stopping and taking his hand back. The Slytherin shrugged his cloak off and wrapped it around Sierra. "There," he grinned and stared at her for a bit. "You look nice in my cloak." He laced their fingers back together and began walking toward the carriages.
No kidding! He gazed at her helplessly for a moment, trying to work out what to say. But thankfully someone else had come over to help. "Uhh, she got hit by the trunks when the train stopped and ever since she's just been... strange." Yes, that was a good way to describe someone who was threatening a non-existent blonde haired princess who had supposedly kidnapped him. Mhmm.
"Yeah, Ravenclaw, Penelope Lockwood. She prefers Nell though." Oh, SHE KNEW HER? "Brilliant! You can help me then? I think she needs to go see the healer. She's been uh.. throwing up." Edmund wrinkled his nose and stowed his wand once more. "I just don't know where to go."
It suddenly crossed his mind he should know the name of this girl. "What's your name?"

Nell rested her head on Ed's shoulder. "I'm going to sleep now."
Louisa nodded her head at the boy, "Okay... I'm Louisa Carter. Seventh year Ravenclaw." She didn't have to say she had a badge that inclined her to help them, did she? It was right there on her chest anyways. "It's okay... don't fret.. we just have to carry her to-" But then the girl started to... slur her words out.
The seventeen years old had to lean in closer to make out what she was saying. Oh so this boy was her boyfriend who was almost stolen by..."The pink princess? Yeah, she's definitely slipping away. Come, help me.." she smacked the boy on his arm before pausing and squinting her eyes at him, "I don't know your name though." Huh. Not very important at this time. Louisa simply took her wand out and conjured a small stretcher, very close to the one the groundskeeper had made.. only smaller... and maybe less steadier... and without good texture... but it was a stretcher!
The Ravenclaw held Nell from the ankles and motioned the boy to get a good grip under her armpits. "Slowly and on three, we move her onto the stretcher, okay?" Not that she was going to wait for him. "One.. two.. three!" HOIST!

Louisa. Edmund gave her a nod as his eyes were drawn to something shiny on her chest. Was that a badge? He wasn't fretting! He was just worried that she was going to get agitated about this pink princess. Hearing the title of boyfriend being awarded to him made him straighten up slightly though, he liked that!
"Yeah, she's been saying stuff like this for a while." He frowned down at Nell, barely noticing the smack on his arm from Louisa. "Keep her talking though, right?" he asked concernedly, looking up at the girl before blinking. Oh yes, his name. "I'm Edmund Clay, Seventh year transfer." Normally he'd be proud to say that, but right now, he just didn't care!
Eyeing the stretcher curiously, he wondered if it would hold her safely. EEP, he hoped so! "No problem." Once he had a good grip on Nell like he'd been indicated to, he nodded to the girl and moved her over to the stretcher. "What do you think they can do for her?" Get her back to normal? "Nell, tell me where you want to go on our first Hogsmeade date. Do they have shops?" Hopefully that'd keep her talking, right?
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

"Lets go." Because she really didn't want to stay in this crowded nightmare longer than necessary. She eyed the boy who was going to help them get to the carriages. "If you're going to sing, I'm sure we can find someone else to help us." Because she was not going to tolerate any more singing today.
Abby stared after the boy. "What's he so upset about? He was the one who was wasting your time by faking his injury." And, President's daughter? Hm. That was going to have to wait for later though. Right now, Abby was more concerned about her health.
Chace was trying to maintain a certain level of patience with the fact that the train was not only slammed to a halt causing him to crash rather roughly into the side of the compartment he'd been standing in leaving a bruise on his shoulder, but also the fact that they were forced to leave the train and station everyone in Hogsmeade. Chace worked his way through the crowd, hoping that he could somehow find Abby amongst the midst of people when he finally spotted her, with a group of a few other people.
Chace walked over to her, pulling her to his side before gently planting a kiss on her forehead. "Are you okay? I was in the process of getting out of my compartment to come and find you when the train just slammed to a halt." The annoyance was clearly coming through Chace's words. "Did you get hurt or anything? And have we figured out why we needed to stop?"

Slipping away? Was she dying? Nell couldn't tell though she certainly felt detached. She felt like she was swimming in a fog and couldn't tell which way was up and which way was down. Pressure at her ankles and arms gave her pause followed by a slight falling sensation that stopped rather quickly. Man she hated this.
Where was she again?
Edmund's voice had her focusing on him. Nell gave him an odd look as his question finally registered. She smiled dreamily. "First we can go to Honeyduke's to satisfy our sweet tooth and then either the Three Broomstick's or Puddifoot's if you want more privacy. I like there tea. The raspberry tea is amazing! Have you ever been there Louisa? You should go."
Her glazed gaze fell on her fellow Ravenclaw and slid upon something shiny. Nell sat up on the stretcher a moment and squinted. "You made Head Girl this year?! Right on! I wish I could have been Head Girl though you probably make a much better one then me anyway." She gave the girl a thumbs up, giggled at her thumb, and then settled back on the stretcher.
Her head throbbed. She put a hand over her face to keep herself from crying. The pain was getting unbearable. "Why won't my head stop hurting?" She whispered.

As soon as the girl was on the poorly conjured stretcher, mainly because Louisa was already slightly shaken, she nodded to the transfer. "Edmund. I'm the Head Girl, it means you can trust me. Okay?" He did say he was a transfer so maybe he didn't get time to know those stuff. But, did that still mean he was Penelope's boyfriend or was she making this up as hallucination? Heh. Awwwwkward if that was the case. He, however, didn't deny it directly. He just said she's been saying those stuff.
"It's alright, Penelope! We're getting you to one of the carriages and then.." Not that the wounded girl was silent. She kept talking. About Puddifoot's and.. "Uhh.. no, I haven't been there. But I spied on one of my friend's date over there." She answered, nonchalantly, holding her wand and focusing on the stretched to get it levitated. "And you would've made a great Head Girl, Penelope. I think they have their own strategy though," Maybe because Louisa was kind of... more bossy? She had no idea really, and her focus was all on the levitation spell that now was working. The stretcher with the girl lying on top of it stirred a couple of times before it finally hovered above the ground and started to move slowly toward the carriages.
"You probably have a concussion, Penelope," Louisa replied to her, her eyes never leaving the levitated stretcher, "But don't worry. They'll fix it for you. Edmund, help me keeping her conscious, please?" She had to focus on the nonverbal spell and no level of confidence would make her just chitchat AND move a concussed girl in midair. "Tell me, then, do you guys know each other for long?" Again, she just needed them to talk while she moved them to the carriages.

"Nice to meet you Louisa, Head Girl." He nodded to her gratefully. Brilliant! He'd found the head girl as soon as he'd got there! His eyes went straight back to Nell when she answered him. "Honeydukes? That sounds good! What do they sell there?" Obviously it was a sweetshop, but hey, if it made her think, it was all good, right? "Brilliant, which do you prefer? Which one sells the raspberry tea, Nell?" He glanced at Louisa when she answered Nell's random question.
She looked reaaaaally focused. Well, now all he could think about was not distracting her. He knew he could just carry Nell there, but that'd be kind of bumpy and that was bad for her, no? EEP. He missed the comments about head girl status because he'd been drowning in his thoughts and worries.
EEP. Concussion?! "No problem." He reached for Nell's hand and let it fall to his side when he realised she'd put it over her eyes. "It'll be over soon. Promise." Well now, he was going to have to make sure the healer helped him keep that promise. "We met each other in Diagon Alley, she was having a bit of trouble with a book, do you remember Nell?" he asked her softly, trying not to speak too loudly - he'd already been told not to shout.
Nathan was holding Delphi's hand pretty tightly. As soon as the sucky feeling in his gut vanished, he was sure he was at the Hogsmeade platform. The portkey had worked.
His squeezed eyes opened and he groaned. This was just .. not a good feeling. His head still throbbed from the bump earlier and the sucky feeling from the portkey was doing him no favors. He needed some pumpkin juice .. fast.
Turning to the girl, whose hand he was pratically crushing from his grip - in fear of suddenly losing her in the crowd, he asked: "Hi .. so you still okay?"

Carriages? The thought if being in one of those swaying monstrosities and hitting the bumps along the way made Nell nauseous. Wasn't there a smoother way up to the castle? A vivid memory of being force to grab an umbrella and being dumped into the platform made her shudder. Nell hated portkeys!
Louisa's answers made her smile. She liked her and was proud to be in the same house. Some of the fog in her brain was clearing but the pain was getting more intense. She could remember meeting Louisa during a class once but it hurt to try and remember the details. What she really wanted to do was sleep but they kept talking to her and asking questions.
Ed's voice was great to listen to but at the moment she didn't want to hear anything he had to say. She wanted to curl up on her bed and sleep for a month. Nell pressed the heel of her hand into her eyes. "We met....in Florish and Blotts. I fell and a bunch of books landed on me."
Taking her hand away from her face she let it drop to the side where it brushed against his. Without thinking she grabbed a hold of it and didn't intend to let go. He was her anchor to reality since she couldn't seem to trust what her own mind was telling her. "You made that day fun and memorable." Her voice was soft and she gave him a small smile.
Presley breathed a silent sigh of relief at Elliot's assurance that she wasn't upset. To be honest, the Morganzo girl was probably the only one who wasn't mad at Presley. What was going on? Didn't she know? "I'm assuming you heard about all of my family problems?"
It had been in the news lately. Presley no longer living with her father, her brother turning her away. Presley now lived with her muggle aunt, and hated it. "And you know it's my birthday today?" September first. "Leo didn't even, I mean...God I sound like such a blithering idiot. The point is, Leo didn't come see me off at the platform. And my father didn't send a card."
Presley would never admit it, but right now what she wanted most was for her father to forgive her, and for Leo to forgive her. But she was a Black, she couldn't step back and let them win. It would never happen. She was to proud to go and ask for forgiveness, and her family was too proud to back down and let her be right.
Assuming...
Elliot raised an eyebrow. "My father's been gone all summer. So I haven't heard his side of things...but I've heard bits and pieces from my mother..." she said, thinking of her mother having tea with the other ladies. Gossips was a MUST at Teas. "You're...not...living with your family right now?" she asked. She didn't know WHO Presley was living with.
She looked away from Presley, not able to make eye contact. "I wanted to extend an invitation to live at our manor. But mother said father would fuss. I should have done it anyway," she gritted her teeth, and looked back at Pres, her eyes suddenly on fire.
HEr father was not her idol at the moment. He was...Elliot adored him...but he was so...Elliot couldn't explain her feelings in words. She saw that Presley needed more comfort than she did at the moment, however. "Why is Leo mad at you?" He was her brother. Weren't siblings supposed to stick together? Though, Elliot had to admit, if giving in to one of her sisters put her on her father's wrong side...she would most likely not extend help to her siblings.
Because his approval meant everything.

"However I think Dylan here..." he thought that was his name since Selina would have met him in person with captainy things. Perhaps the captain dealing with him will make him think twice about being so uppy about him being spoken to himself. While he himself helped with the girl....Abby was it.
Seventh Year Prefect trumped fifth year captain...right?
Gideon moved over closer to the two girls and offered Abby his shoulder, leaning down a little so he wasn't so high. "And my name's Gideon. Whenever yer settled, we'll move and be school-bound."

*blinnnnk*
What an incredibly rude little Puffer-Boy. Giving him a mean look, the Captain offhandly heard the Prefect mentioning his name. He thought Dylan...what?"Actually Gilly...I think as a Prefect, YOU should go after him...Unless you think you won't be able handle..."
Yes. He HAD just suggested that.
Moving a bit closer to the two girls and giving Gilly a look, he smirked. "I'm going to help these ladies...and let the Prefect handle the mouthy little boy...because really, it's not Quidditch related." So, really.
Seventh Year Prefect does NOT trump Fifth Year Captain.
"My name's Dylan, by the way..." He'd forgotten to mention as much before.
"Either both of these strapping young things really hate Hufflepuff boys, or they're both smitten with you, Hasty," Vivi informed the group in a note-quite-stage-whisper. Loud enough to be heard by all, but not by many more than that. Really, it was silly. They could manage to get to the carriages without arguing over who had to do the actual helping.
Surely.

And then the smoochy-faces boyfriend showed up, and Vivi let go of Hasty as she was bodily hauled out of Vivi's grasp. Dude. Throwing around of small future Ravenclaws was NOT polite behavior.
"Look. Problem solved. Boyfriend is here to help Hasty. I can walk under my own power. You lads... Dylan and Gert... you're free to stalk the wayward Hufflepuff if you so desire." Because she washed her hands of helpful behavior starting NOW.
"Genevieve Branxton." She offered a hand to Boyfriend and gave Hasty a smirk. Nice boyfriend she had, to make her ride the train with strangers and get medical treatment from bossy!pants Genevieve. "She'll tell you my name is Genie. That is not true. And if you lot don't mind, I think we ought to head to the carriages."
FINALLY! Letting Ed take her from his arms, "Don't let her go te sleep, Ed. She's pretty out of it." his worry showed in his eyes. "She needs a healer real badly." Looking back towards where he'd left her he winced, "she's back there I had te let her stay there she hurt her ankle, but Nell looked a lot worse. so I had te come." Biting his lip he didn't see her, and turned back to Ed. "Get her te a carriage and if I'm not there right away ye go on, I'll find ye."
His eyes were still wide especially when Nell said she'd beaten the pink princess. "Yes, yes ye did." Erm, okay then...
Turning with one last glance at Ed and Nell he ran back towards where he'd left Amelia. Seeing her on the ground, he dropped down beside her. "Amelia are ye..." Looking down at her hand that had blood on it, he bit hit lip HARD because that was the one thing he really couldn't handle. The pain in his tongue now after he felt like he bit it off, he swallowed. "Yer hurt." YEP don't look at her hand...nor where the heck she found the blood. WHERE THE HECK WAS IT???
"Can ye get te yer feet?" he asked "If I help ye?" Then he'd pick her up but it was going to be hard if she was on the ground when he tried to lift her! JUST DON'T TOUCH ME OR SHOW ME THAT BLOOD!!!
"You're back," Amelia exclaimed delightedly as Isaac appeared before her. She really needed to see more of him. While being excited to see him would never go away she really shouldn't voice her pleasure every time he appeared. Especially when he hadn't been gone all that long and she'd been able to see him.
"Of course I can get up. Sitting was just more convenient," she lied, not at all sure that she would be able to stand up, or stay standing at any rate. She figured the shock was wearing off a bit because she could actually feel the pain. She should have walked to a carriage earlier when she hadn't noticed that there was anything painful. Oh well.
Wiping the blood off on her skirt, and wincing when she realised exactly what she'd done (that was another item that wasn't going to survive tonight), Amelia placed her hands on the ground and pushed up, surprised when she found herself vertical. Which of course, with her luck tonight, didn't last long, meaning that she had to grab onto Isaac to make sure she didn't fall over again.
She really hoped that she didn't hurt him when she grabbed him.
"How's the girl you went to grab?" she asked, gagging slightly as she looked over and saw that there was another boy with the girl who was magically cleaning up vomit. That was just gross. The worst part was that seeing vomit made her want to vomit, and it was only through sheer strength of will that she refrained from doing so.
"This was a stupid idea by the school you know? Most people don't seem to have ever used portkeys before, and anyone who was injured on the train probably only got more hurt. I mean, I'm normally quite good at using portkeys but today I landed wrong and hurt my foot... It almost makes me glad that this is our last year," and that meant only one more train ride home at the end of the year. She'd probably be over this debacle by then. At least, she hoped she was.
Presley rolled her eyes as if she didn't really care. Even though she did. "No, I'm living with my aunt, who's a muggle and doesn't even want to know anything about magic. It's truly awful. She treats me like I'm common." Presley spat the word like it was an expletive. "She has three little kids, who I normally like, but after living with them all summer..Let's just say I will never have children."
Presley smiled at Elliot's comment. She shook her head. "No, I completely understand. I know how my father would react if I did such a thing. Besides, I'm assuming that your parents would agree with mine." Running away, in Pureblood society was so looked down on, that even Leo wasn't on Presley's side this time.
"Leo's mad because he thinks I'm being childish. He says I just need to grow up and stop arguing with my father. He is my parent after all." Presley didn't need to tell Elliot that she disagreed with that. Yes, he was her father, but he'd never been much of an authority figure in Presley's life. And she wasn't about to start taking orders from him now. Even if he had cut off her funds and cancelled her dance lessons. It was hard to live without dance, but if it meant avoiding the shame of admitting defeat, she would do it for as long as it took.

"I am." he said nodding his concern back now that he was right there with her. Rising to his feet as she did, he helped her up to stay steady. "Woah! I got ye." he said quickly his arm catching around her, to hold her upright. "Ok, hold on, I'm gonna pick ye up." Sweeping her into his arms, he held her close. Nope she wasn't any heavier then the Nell, if not lighter! Either way he was seriously glad it didn't bother him.
"She hit her head pretty hard, Ed's got her though, which is good, he'll take good care of her." Smirking a little, at the thought. REALLY good care of her he was sure. He still was curious if he'd actually kissed her after Isaac's little prod back at the station. "She needs the healer, hopefully te set her right." Ugh, poor kid! "Let's get ye te the carriages." Yep, heading towards the carriages the same direction he'd gone to help Nell, he looked around as he walked, with Amelia in his arms. He didn't see Ed or Nell so he hoped they'd gotten help or to a carriage.
"Ye doin' okay?" he asked careful not to bump her ankle on anything.
Presley rolled her eyes as if she didn't really care. Even though she did. "No, I'm living with my aunt, who's a muggle and doesn't even want to know anything about magic. It's truly awful. Elliot crinkled her nose. Oh no. ELliot could NOT let Presley Black, her close friend, and a VERY noble pureblood live with a MUGGLE. "No, Presley, you're staying with me until you sort this out. No. I won't allow it." She stood up taller, straightening her back. HEr eyes shone brilliantly, and the determination in them is what made her such a valuable Ravenclaw. "I don't care what my parents say. I am sick of them treating me the way they do anyways. Father can't say a word. He's never home anyways. You're coming with me over the holidays." She dropped her trunk, and used that hand to place it on Presley's shoulder.
HEr eyes were really steely, now.
"You can NOT give in, Presley. You will not. You hear me? You stay strong. You aren't alone." Her voice was gruff in anger. In passion. Because Elliot was a hot head, and she was NOT going to let ANYONE push her OR Pres around.
She wasn't arguing. She wasn't going to let Presley slide her invitation off..."And don't try to argue with me. It's final." She said, her voice like stone.
And when Presley talked about Leo...Elliot's face flushed with a bit of anger. "Childish? You ARE a child!" she snapped. She began to dig in her bag..."I am writing to that brother of yours. How DARE he abandon you!" she cried, utterly FILLED with rage now. Elliot would probably EVENTUALLY help her sisters out in that situation...

Presley grinned. She knew there was a reason she was friends with Elliot. Because this was the kind of girl who wouldn't let her friend get pushed around, no matter how powerful the person on the other side was. And Zebhidiyah Black was very powerful. "Thanks Elliot," Presley said genuinley. "And don't worry. I have no intention of letting him win. He's won for far far too long." Presley was not a loser, and it was time she stood up and told people exactly how she felt.
Her brow furrowed though, when Elliot said 'You are a child' "I'm not a child." she corrected. "I never have been and you know it." Childish, yes, but Presley had been forced to grow up and care for herself when her mother died and her father retreated into his shell. Now that he'd decided to come out, Presley was already grown up and he didn't like it. Well, that was his problem.
She frantically grabbed Elliot's arm. "NO! Elliot you can't write to Leo. You just can't. Because telling you that he abandoned me...that makes him a winner too. Because I've admitted that I can't do everything on my own. Please just don't write to him. I'll deal with it." She dropped Elliot's arm, only just realizing that she'd grabbed it. She wasn't sure how, but she would deal with it.

Elliot nodded. "Good. And if you give in, I swear Presley, I will be VERY disappointed in you." She roared...she was in a rage right now. Her cheeks were red. It just took so little to set her off lately. And right now, she was seething on behalf of one of the only people who TRULY understood her. Perhaps THE only person who truly knew what Elliot was all about, and why she was the way she was. Why she was hard, why she was strong.
"And I'm not scared of your father, Presley." She said softly. And it was the truth. HE was a scary man, sure, but Elliot was Darius Alexander Morganzo's daughter. And she feared NOTHING. Not even her own father's rage.
However, at Presley's retort, she merely rolled her eyes. "True. And I'm not so much child since I was five." Which was when she had begun to catch onto her...father and his shenanigans.
Elliot winced when Presley grabbed her, her eyes widening a little. "FINE! I won't write to him..." she lied through her teeth.

When Presley let her hand drop, she let it dangle for a second before using it to pick her trunk's handle again.

"My mistake." He met the Slytherin's eyes with his own in a stare wondering if he'd back down or not. Hearing Genevieve's remark, Gideon gave a look as if to say he wasn't amused by it. She knew full well that her words were false and she was pulling his leg. Why must he
His attention was turned as Gideon watched while they were joined by another boy, a fellow seventh year Gryffindor. Said lion apparently familiar with Abby's charge, complete with kiss on her forehead. Interesting...but not his business. His business was to get back to the castle and seeing as they had helped their share of students they should be free to leave their present task.
"Nae...I believe I shall be simple going to the feast," he remarked moving from his place and taking his leave of Abby before turning back to his companions. "Ye too joining me or what?" And with that Gideon turned back ahead and finally made his way to the carriages to be off.

Amelia immediately wrapped her arms around Isaac when he picked her up. She did trust him not to drop her but one could never be too careful when it came to these things. Just because he said he was fine it didn't mean he really was.
"I'm glad you went to look after her. She didn't look good even from where I was," Amelia confided, thinking back to how she'd seen the girl act. It would definitely be a good idea for the girl to see a healer. That being said she was also glad that Isaac wasn't the one looking after the other girl. She was selfish like that.
"I'm okay. You worry too much. I don't know how you weren't sorted into Hufflepuff," she said, her tone full of affection for Isaac. He really was the sweetest guy ever. She didn't know why more girls weren't trying to snatch him up.
"So when did you meet those two? I know I've never seen Ed before?" she asked curiously. She really didn't care too much, having never met them before but Isaac seemed to be friends with them and that was enough for her to be slightly interested. That and she liked Isaacs voice.

He pulled a chocolate frog out of his pocket and opened it.
Alexa smiled a bit when he said he was a second year. Then he said thestrals, she thought for a second, "I think I have heard of them before." she looked around to see if she could see the carriages. Then she listened as he explained his friends. Well that wasn't a great description, but she shrugged and looked around. Maybe they would find him then Alexa wouldn't have to try to figure out what these other people looked like. "So what house are you in?"
Elliot nodded. "Good. And if you give in, I swear Presley, I will be VERY disappointed in you." She roared...she was in a rage right now. Her cheeks were red. When Presley let her hand drop, she let it dangle for a second before using it to pick her trunk's handle again.
Elliot didn't fear anything, and Presley admired that. A lot. "True nobility is exempt from fear" she quoted William Shakespeare. Elliot would recognize the quote. She'd borrowed Presley's Shakes collection back when Pres was a second year, and Presley assumed she'd read the whole thing.
She smiled wryly. Pureblood children never really got the chance to be kids like others did. They were expected to be miniature adults, so that's what they became, early on.
Presley sighed in relief when Elliot promised not to write Leo. "We should grab a carriage," she finally said. They were almost all gone, and Presley didn't want to walk back from Hogsmeade in the dark and miss the sorting ceremony. Her cousin was supposed to be sorted this year. Presley had her fingers crossed for Slytherin for the girl. With her father dead, and her mum, like Presley's, a muggle, the girl needed every little victory she could get for their grandparents to like her more.

Elliot wracked her brains...she knew this quote from somewhere...WHERE WAS IT FROM?! she definitely remembered reading it somewhere..and noting it down, because it was such an AWESOME quote, and especially for her.
POP.
It popped into her head. That muggle bloke who was an AMAZING writer. "Touche," she said with a little bow of her head.
Elliot then jumped a little...yeah...they should, shouldn't they? "HEre..." she said, as she spotted one. She wondered if Presley could see the...threstrals. She looked at her friend curiously.."Can you...see them?" she asked, a bit quietly...she just wanted to know. Elliot couldnt. She had never seen anyone..die. Not in front of her face. She had left the room when Grandfather Morganzo passed away.

She looked at her friend curiously.."Can you...see them?" she asked, a bit quietly...she just wanted to know. Elliot couldnt. She had never seen anyone..die. Not in front of her face. She had left the room when Grandfather Morganzo passed away.
Pres almost didn't want to answer Elliot's question. Because it was more than asking "can you see this random magical creature?" No, the question Elliot was asking was "have you ever seen someone die?" But Elliot was probably Presley's best friend. So Presley nodded and said really softly "yeah, I can see them."
