Chooooo choooo! The Hogwarts Express has arrived at last (or has it???). Either way, you're almost to Hogwarts, so get off the train and get going to the school!
First years, follow the groundskeeper to the lake. Second years and up, go for the horseless (thestral-led) carriages. Don't forget anything on the train, because you won't see it for another 9 months!
She didn't know the Groundskeeper's name— he definitely wasn't Waylon. So she was just gonna call him Mr. Man. He would be honoured. It was a cool name. Anyways, Mr. Man and Kurumi were both reassuring her that the splinter-thingy was gonna help, so she decided to wear it. Even if she felt awkward. "Okay.." she said uneasily, as Kurumi prepared to put the splint on her. It felt really awkward.. and it hurt a little bit.. but other than that, it was okay.. kinda. "Stable? That's good, right? Does that mean I can still go to the Feast?" She wanted to go to the feast and see all her friends and the new Headmistress Redhead.
And go to school in carriages.
But Kurumi was leaving her with the Groundskeeper. "What?! I have to ride with the firsties in boats?!" She looked at the man. "Mr. Man, is that allowed?" Why couldn't she ride in a carriage? She had the splinter-y thingy on her leg, didn't she? "But.. but.." Breaking your leg so wasn't fun. She wanted to ride in the pretty carriages. It wasn't fair. She wanted to ride with Melanie and Kurumi-Cookie. "Can I keep Walnut with me, then?" He was such a pretty handsome cat.
But she would rather ride in the carriages and be with Melanie, Kurumi, AND Walnut.
Sebastian couldn't help but feel sorry for the young girl. First day back at Hogwarts and here she is on a stretcher with a broken leg. Maybe. "Of course you can still go to the Feast." A broken bone was easily fixed.
A smile broke over his face at the name she was calling him and bent down a little. "Call me Seb okay?" But only she was allowed to because she was injured and scared. "And if you don't want to ride in the boats then I can put you in a carriage on your own. Whatever you want."

He hoped that all the first years had arrived now because he needed to get them off the platform. It was getting too crowded up here. "ALRIGHT YOU LOT. LET'S HEAD DOWN TO THE BOATS.
Merlin, he hoped the feast went more smoothly than this.
A face appeared above her and it took her brain forever to remember who the face belonged to. She giggled. "We have got to stop meeting this way." Her head rang in response and she groaned. Again she felt like vomiting but managed to keep it down.
It took her a bit to realize that she was propped up. She looked up at the person propping her up again. "Issac? Where are we? Have you seen Edmund?" She smiled dreamily. "I like Edmund. He's cute." Nell just felt like sleeping so she cuddled up to Issac and closed her eyes.
Crap...she's giggling like Amelia was! "Nell, did ye hit yer head?" Though there was truth to her words, that was what...the 3rd time they'd found each other with her on the ground? Then Ed was on the ground... Yep they had to stop meeting that way! Ok, yep she must have hit her head, she looked miserable and groaned after speaking.
And her question, definitely made him go OI! "We're in Hogsmeade and no we can' get any chocolate." he teased softly. Laughing he dropped his head "I wouldn' know, but I'll take yer word fer it. But I hafen' seen him yet." his eyes flickered around the platform in search for him again. Glancing at Amelia he hoped she was holding up on that ankle. Darn it he shouldn't have let her go!

James was being ignored! He walked shakily up to the groundskeeper and tapped his shoulder. "Uh...Mr. Groundskeeper, sir...can I go on the carriages or do I have to get on a boat?" he asked quietly. He was in too much pain to talk any louder.

"Oh, excellent" Robert replied, ready to step back from the situation for which he could offer no real help. Best to let the Groundskeeper sort it out. He actually did take a step back, which placed him nearer to Angel, holding the wombat.
Another first year - Robert was somewhat relieved. It was nice to know that he was not left behind in the madness that was surrounding them.
"Oh it's his - that's cool" Robert said, at the same time relieved and jealous that Angel was chosen to look after the Groundskeeper's animal, as being asked to help a staff member was a privelege and a big responsibility. "I wonder what they eat".
Smiling at the first year boy she had a feeling that he was... a bit shy compared to the other people that she'd already met... besides Kalo. The two would probably get along quite well she mused as she kept stroking the Wombat's fur, still finding it adorable... maybe a bit heavy but really adorable!!!
"Yup" she said happily. "Well... I think they eat grass and bark and that sort of stuff..." she added on nonchalantly as she thought about the classes she'd had while she'd lived in Australia for about 6 months... and then the stick that the groundskeeper gave her in case the wombat was restless... probably something like that.
Then she heard the groundskeeper say something about boats... could she keep the wombat?
Zarifa moved with the crowd, making sure she didn't follow the first years. Due to her being here for the first time she was kind of embarrassed to ask for directions on what to do..""Why didn't my parents give me any kind of information" she thought.

He took a few steps forward to steady himself, then he straightened up, wand still in hand. Good.
He immediately began to turn in a slow circle and scan the area for the others from the Food Trolley. There was... the girl who called the Headmistress Hogs Head, and the girl who called the Headmistress the Headmaster, right? Weren't those the two? And they both looked decently okay. At least they had arrived safely. Max gave nods of approval upon spotting them. But where was Dylan?
Before he made a full circle to look for Dylan, he saw Emmaleigh and instinctively marched in her direction, knowing she would be someone with an alike mindset. "Emmaleigh," he called as he approached. "You okay? Anything hurt?" She looked okay, so it was really more of considerate questioning than real concern. Look at her go - she had a first aid kit in hand! Where did she even get that from? "D'you... need help with anything?"
As he inquired, Max was scanning the crowd for Dylan again when he saw a nearby boy - probably a first year - who looked like he needed a friend. Of course, if Max had been a younger student and had to go through train problems and travel by portkey, he probably would have been latched onto the nearest seventh year for help. Either Max was a wuss as a first year, or this boy was being very brave. Or both. "I'll be right back, Em."
...Em?
Max made sure to approach him from the front, not wanting to startle him by sneaking up from behind. "Hey," he began awkwardly, his hands dug deep in his pockets. "You okay? Hurt? Need help with something? Anything?"
From her kneeling position, the red head was still watching her surroundings. No one had an explanation as to what was going on, and she had to have constant vigilance. Had a rough landing, and a little sore, but I’m better than most.” She looked him over. “How about you, are you okay? what took you so long?” She shook her head at the next question. “I don’t but some of the others might.” She watched him scan the crowd. “Okay, Hurry back though.”
Just as Kurumi was about to get into the carriage with the other girls, Kurumi heard someone calling for help. Merlin, this was like the Second Wizarding War or something.
Stepping down from the carriage, Kurumi spun around and approached the pair of girls. It didn't take too long to figure out that they were injured. "You two alright? Well enough for the carriages or would you rather I help you over to the Groundskeeper?" Kurumi asked, eyeing the young Slytherin's cheek. "We need to get some ice on that...." Which was when Kurumi conjured one out of the air and offered it to her.
Ariana looked up at the taller student and noticed she was a prefect for gryffindor "well, we think Cardigan may have broken her jaw." she said taking the ice from the prefect and putting it on cardigan's jaw weather she wanted it or not she needed it. "And i well, hurt my ribs just here." she said pointing tho the left side of her ribcage "in the train and my landing from the portkey didnt do it justice." she said unsure of where they should go, al Ariana knew was it hurt to breath and move her left side adn to walk a little

"Chocolate? Who would want chocolate? I have Edmund...he just doesn't know it yet." She giggled her head lolling back on her neck. His words confused her. "Where is he? Did the Princess come and take him from me?" She looked fierce or as fierce as someone with a concussion could look.
Nell struggled to rise. "I'll jinx her into next week. Turn her stupid pink dress to puke green." She managed to struggle to her feet but swayed and stumbled back into Issac. "Oh my head." She groaned.

Cardigan winced, feeling sorry for Ariana. That mustn't have been fun. Not at all. It sounded awful. She definitely was right about the portkey. It was almost like Apparating. She had done it before with her brother(was that even safe??). Could you get flinched while using a portkey? Hopefully not... She had heard stories of flinchings before. Really scary stuff.
She nodded a little, not wanting to work up her jaw so much, and further bruise it up. That wouldn't be so fun, wouldn't it? They did need to find an adult or a prefect. For both of them, really. Her friends situation was just as bad as her own, in her eyes. She had then motioned for Cardigan to follow her. She trailed along behind, leaving a little distance between them. They both needed some breathing space, especially Ariana. That's for sure.

Cardigan took the ice from Ariana's hold and held it for herself. It helped A LOT. The I've definitely made it feel a little better. It could be a lot better though. She'd just have to deal with it. At least she had something!
She looked over at her friend, knowing she would know the best for them. She wasn't in the mood for talking really. She hadn't really been at all, of course. No one enjoys pain. No one. Cardigan would probably be fine with the carriages. She wasn't so sure for Ariana though. Maybe the boats would be better for her.

Could she really still go to the feast, even with a broken leg?! Ohyay. That meant she coukd have food and watch Headmistress Redhead talk and everything. She's just have to go with this awkward thing on her leg, that was all. "Seb? Hmm. I can call you Mr. Seb Man." YES. Mr. Seb Man. That had a lovely ring to it. "Ahh. Yes, please. A carriage would be nice." The firsties were kind if intimidating.. and scary. She sat up on the stretcher and watched as the new groundskeeper calling the ickle newbies to attention.
She had a feeling was going to like this one.

Nell struggled to rise. "I'll jinx her into next week. Turn her stupid pink dress to puke green." She managed to struggle to her feet but swayed and stumbled back into Issac. "Oh my head." She groaned.
Watching as she reached her hand back and then groaned, yep hit her head... he thought silently. He didn't even want to ask about this princess thing, though his eyes did widen a bit. "Ok, at least yer coherent enough te know...wait Edmend? His eyebrows lifted even more when she'd said she didn't want chocolate because she had Edmend. OK, way more information then he'd wanted to hear...
"Nell, I don't think ye..." Oopsidaisy! Catching her as she stumbled back into him, rising quickly to his feet. He scooped her up so she wouldn't fall. Looking around he searched for that healer who should definitely be around somewhere! "Carriages then..." he muttered. Turning he was amazed at how light Nell was. Or was it really that he could handle that without a problem. Oh well, who knew. "Amelia?" he called over to her. He didn't see her immediately. Had he run that far? Well...maybe he could get Nell into a carriage then find her.
Ummm no...that wouldn't work, 'cause Nell might try and sleep! "EDMEND CLAY!" he shouted, hoping to find him. He was going to hex that guy if he didn't show up soon!
Listening as she said she had no idea if she had hit her head more, he chewed on his lip. There were so many kids running and falling and screaming he couldn't remember if she had or not either. Maybe she was just in shock from all that had happened and that was why she had giggled hysterically. Shaking his head to try and clear it.
Oh Merlin...that was right her claustrophobia. "Well we're not on the train now." He said quietly, trying to help her calm down, "We're in Hogsmeade. Heading to the school." Yep, that's right, everything was fine let's just forget the crying students for the moment. Yep yep... "Yes erm...Oliver...I think." Crap was Ronnie's kitten Oliver...or was it..." Ummm, drat he couldn't remember for sure.
Giving a half smile, his arm tightened around her when she leaned into him. Wait her ankle? Looking down at her two feet, his eyes kind of widened "It looks umm kind of swollen." Merlin! "I think ye need te sit down...mebbe we should find a carriage."
Out of the corner of his eye he saw throw up all over then push herself away from it landing on her back. "Hold on Amelia." he said before running towards the girl. "Nell!" he gasped dropping beside her his arm going around her right away. "Are ye alright?" Looking around he didn't spot Ed right away. But hoped he wasn't far away. "Are ye hurt?"
"But I don't like it here either. There are too many people crying. I hate crying," she told him earnestly as she began looking at all the other people. She should attempt to comfort someone. But that required moving. Moving wasn't good. She should just stand here leaning on Isaac.
"Oh, well it's a cute kitty whatever its name is. I want a kitty," Amelia decided. Maybe she could get Isaac to get her one for Christmas or something. She'd be an amazing mother to a kitty. Ahhuh.
"Dyou think so? But I don't like the carriages either. They'd be warm right?" she questioned as Isaac let go of her and rushed off to help another girl. Why was Isaac always rushing off to other girls? It was enough to make her think she was right earlier when she joked about being a bad girlfriend. Except she knew he was just a nice guy, and apparently knew the girl. She still didn't like it though.

Amelia dropped slowly to the ground, wrapping her arms around herself. It was way too cold with Isaac gone and she began to shiver uncontrollably. She wanted to be somewhere warm now please.
Stretching her leg out she prodded at her ankle, surprised to find it hurt. And now that she thought about it the back of her head hurt too. Raising her hand to the back of her head she felt wet. Pulling her hand back she spotted blood. Maybe she had hit her head afterall?
Hopefully Isaac would come back soon. She missed him. He could stop her feeling sad and cold. He made lots of things better. She could walk to him but that would take too much effort. She didn't think she could get up again.
What an odd train ride. She didn't know what had happened really, just that she was told to hag on to a portkey. She had grabbed a belt along with a few other students whom she didn't know. In all the kerfluffle she had lost Laura so she just headed on her way to the carriages so she could get to the castle and to the feast. She was starving and would be able to meet up with her friends properly at the feast.
Mika was lucky. Very lucky. Because the only thing that fell ontop of her was a person - and they there the one who got covered in things. Pfft priceless. Someone tries to pin down the girl they think is going to run off after chocolate boy - it wasn't like she was going to snog him...maybe she would. She didn't know.
When the dizziness of the portkey faded she realized she was lying face-first on the ground. A little bit of her hair snagged on a nail.
"Oh great...can someone well, unhook me?" she pleaded but her words didn't come out clearly...as they were said into the ground. What it sounded like she had said was, "Oh grape...(incoherent mumbling) pees (more mumbling) hook me" she had no idea what anyone else would hear. She thought it sounded alright. THEN again she knew what she had meant.

Another #veryimportantlooking individual caught his attention, directing his focus from the mess of limbs and blood and WAS THAT A BONE STICKING OUT? Oh nope just some debris.
Obediently, he fell in step with the other first years behind the VIP mandude and half-scooted, half-jump/stepped toward the boats.
That was the first thing he felt when he landed. At least he's managed to land on solid ground not on the water, yes? He never really like travelling by portkey, it always left him with a dizziness.
The third year looked around him, there were in the Hogsmeade. Good. He was about to go towards the carriages when he saw a familiar blond hair sitting on the stretcher.
Alice?
That's Alice. "Sorry best friend coming through." he muttered on his way to the Gryffindor. "Hey, you okay?" Of course she's not okay you dumb head. She's on the stretcher for Merlin's sake. "Do you want something? Candy?" Yeah, like that gonna cure her injury, Edvard Messer!

As expected, Hasty refused to sit down. There were even benches nearby, although they were probably as suspect as the ground. Still..
"Look at it this way," Vivi fought against the cat in her robes for a moment before looking up at Hasty with a broad smile. "Get your bum a bit dirty or get your everything dirty when you pass out completely. You have really pretty hair... bet it looks even better with gravel bits in it."
And now it was just her and the faker. And Hasty, but Vivi was convinced the girl was on her side in all this. She wouldn't say a thing to a little healthy threatening to life and limb.
"Now listen to me, old chap. I don't know where you get off acting like you're injured when there are students all around you who are really suffering, and I'm not sure what your drama is, but it isn't appreciated. You need to take your drama mama self down a notch or two."
She fished the cat out of her robes and shoved the thing back at him. "And take your blamed cat. I'm not a babysitter OR a catsitter. I'm a... well." She looked to Hasty for help. "We're awesome, yeah?"
Okay, so.. Genie had a point. UGH. Abby hated it when people were right. She would have argued but she was was starting to feel even more nauseous. It was possible that she would pass out if she didn't sit down. "Fine, whatever." Abby sat down with a grimace. "You think I have pretty hair?" Heh. Now, THAT made her feel slightly better. Nothing like compliments to cheer you up.
She couldn't help but grin when she saw Genie yell at the kid for faking his injury. That was horrible, especially when there were people around who were seriously injured. Hm? Awesome? HECK, YEAH. Abby knew she was awesome and Genie was pretty awesome too. They could be the awesome duo. "Yeah. We ARE super awesome."
"I don't understand why we're sitting here. The boy is clearly not injured. We should probably just leave." Just then, the boy who'd asked Genie to take care of the little kid came back. Now, they could leave. Right?

Some people believed that portkey is the best choice in emergency. No longer after they touched it, the remote had dissapeared and sent them to the Hogsmeade station
BAM!
Ouch..
The blonde guy landed at the station. He was settled at the ground. Fiuh. Then he checked at himself if there was injury or something. Luckily he was okay, one thing that made him a bit scared was his left shoulder started to injured again. Then he grabbed his backpack who was not too far from his position and decided to walk to the carriages. But wait... he almost forgot something..
WHERE WAS TIFFANY?
"Tiffany!" Gary shouted and his blue eyes kept searching of that girl. Then suddenly he saw her was lying down at the ground, not too far from him. "You okay?" asked him. He extended his hand in order to help her.
It was her first time travelling with portkeys and the only thing she came out after it was, she hated them. When they were back on to the train, she kept telling herself that they are going to be alright and it would be an interesting experience for her to have been traveled by those magical stuffs. For sure, it was really fast of bringing them to the Hogsmeade station in less than one minute but then it was surely not a pleasant ride.
"Ouch!"the lioness exclaimed as she fell onto the ground after the ride. Luckily she didn't fall on her head or else...she just couldn't imagine what would happen next. She was not seriously injured, just a few bruises on her ankles and it just hurts a little. No big deal. All she felt right now was...dizziness. Those turning and rolling during the ride made her want to throw up at once but luckily she didn't.
Tiffany closed her eyes for a few minutes so as to take a little rest and to get the dizziness out of her head as she heard someone else calling out for her. She turned around and found the apple boy heading towards her. "Gary, I'm okay,"she nodded as she gave out a smile, assuring him that she was alright. "Just a few bruises. No worries. And you?"she added as she scanned through his body. Hopefully he was not injured. Taking his hand, she was able to stand up and walk by herself. She looked around and found that the groudkeeper has already been here to pick them up. "Where to go now?"she asked, as she put her wand back into her pocket.

MORE THINGS BROKEN?! Oh Merlin...this really was like the Second Wizarding War...or at least what she had read about from student accounts as to what had happened. "A broken jaw?!" Kurumi gasped softly, turning to the other girl. Kurumi really didn't have any sort of knowledge about that or any experience working with that sort of thing, but the ice should help the swelling a little. "Um...what I can do is conjure a bandage to help keep your jaw stable until we get to Hogwarts and see the Healer," Kurumi offered, eyes on the girl who was not holding the ice pack.
As for the other one..."Here, um, I think...what might be best...is that we just get you to a carriage and off to school... so, if you want, you can use my shoulder for support..." Seeing as she was having a hard time breathing with bruised or even cracked. GAH...more broken things. "...and I'll help you both get in and then we can head off to Hogwarts."
Sound like a plan?

Meh. But she was okay...
...that was what she wanted to believe anyway.
Eh! Why was he looping his arm around hers?! Guys didn't have the right to touch her! But really..she was in no state to complain so she just let him. "Now that I think of it, I guess not really." Beezus replied when he said she was not okay. SIIIIIIGH. "No, I haven't hit my head.." She didn't right? "It's just..it was my first time using a portkey.. Still not used it." The brunette tried to let out a small chuckle, but it only sounded pathetic as she was at the moment.
Great idea. She wanted to sit down. "Let's go Davinci." Yeah cat, follow the leader and your Mistress. Leaning on him a bit, the journey to the carriages started.
Ah, it was her first time using a portkey. That made a little more sense and it explained why she seemed so dizzy, but Milton never really had a hard time with portkeys in all the experiences he had. Oh well. Everyone was different. "I'm sure you'll be fine once the feast starts." Food was the cure for everything! And so far, it wasn't looking good because SOMEONE made him go back and help students rather than go off to the castle. SIGH.
Milton tried not to let Beezus fall when she leaned on him. Which wasn't hard, since he was all manly and stuff. Heh. "Sitting down sounds good." Oh, wait! Milton reached into his pocket and found a chocolate frog from the train. "Here. Eat this. Chocolate cures everything."

Oh. Good. Milton hid the grin he wanted to bear. "YOU BETTER!" If he was lucky, he could get them before the feast so Milton could have something to do during the boring speech.

They were the oldies. They should know.
She tried not to burst out laughing as the younger girl wiggled her bottom. "I hope you're okay, then," she said, laughing lightly. This girl was rather funny. "It's a good think that your bum's not broken. If it was, they might have to chop that off, too."
Wink.
Elodie wasn't so certain. Because broken bones could be extremely ugly and if something were to go wrong, then this girl could end up in a WHEELCHAIR. Which Elodie would ask to borrow so she could wheel down hills and be cooler than she already was, but that wasn't the issue at hand. The issue at hand was the girls hair. "I don't have a brush, but I...I kind of sorted it." It wasn't like she could do much else, was it really?
She was being told to calm down now, and Elodie pouted at that. She was extremely calm, thank you very much. She totally hadn't cried today. Lie. She totally wasn't a shaking mess. Another lie. And she totally hadn't been so scared that she had planned her own funeral already. [s]Total, and major lie.
YAY. Happyface. Elodie beamed as she succeeded to make the other girl laugh, and gave one last bottom wiggle. "You can't chop one of those off." And if they even attempted it? Oh no for them.
SPOILER!!: Kurumi

As the case was, however, it only made her feel more panicky on the inside. She didn't show it in her face - her eyes always lied though - and she swiftly made her way over with Elodie while offering that little one a reassuring squeeze. "I'm glad you and Gemini are alright," she whispered to the girl, mostly so she knew that Kurumi hadn't forgotten about her.
Violet eyes back on Alice for now, they widened and nearly popped out of her head when she said her leg was broken. BROKEN? Oh Merlin, yep...for sure Kurumi was not going to be able to fix this nor did she even want to try. Anyone remember what happened historically with a certain Lockhart? Yeah, knowing Kurumi and her tendencies to melt things on first goes with spells under pressure....just no.
"Um, here, have another cookie...all of you have a cookie if you want," she said as she passed them out to the group present. "No one is going to die," Kurumi said, trying to laugh it off. "Remember, Headmaster Tate gave us all the order not to do so." Or, well, the former Headmaster Tate did. He would always be Headmaster to Kurumi though - now they had a HeadMISTRESS and that was entirely different.
"I really don't want to move you, just in case we make things worse on accident," Kurumi said softly to Alice, glancing around and her violet eyes lying on the boy present. She didn't recognize him, but his arms looked sturdy enough... "Elodie, no one is getting anything chopped off," she said, her eyes snapping back to the girl and giving her hand another reassuring squeeze.
By this time, Walnut had jumped out of Kurumi's arms - seeing as she was preoccupied and not able to worship him properly anyway, and was now strutting over towards a young girl (iBeJenn) and rubbing himself up against her leg for a moment before strutting over towards Alice. Sure, he was a selfish cat at times, but he DID have a heart. And, well, this one had never upset him to the point that he wanted to pee on anyone, so love and comfort he gave as long as she scratched him behind the ears.
Kurumi's head snapped to when she heard the new Groundskeeper's booming voice. Right...accounted for. Kurumi was working on that and since Alice was no minor injury...it meant that they were going to have to move her.
Kurumi was suddenly reminded of Professor Zookara and his first aid lesson in her first term. Oh how she missed that man and his rubber ducks...
Still, Kurumi did NOT want to move Alice, but since she was being given no choice and seeing how crowded and insane the platform was...leaving her here was also dangerous. "Okay, Alice, hold still for a moment while I get a bandage on you." Kurumi removed her wand from her robe's pocket and swooshed it over the young lioness' leg. "Inurio Bani," she whispered as a large bandage was conjured out of the air and wrapped itself around her leg for added support. "Try not to move that leg at all...or either of your legs, okay? Let us carry you over to the Groundskeeper."
Us. Yes. Us. Her eyes darted to the boy again. "Can you take her under the arms?"
Kurumi took a crouching position by Alice's legs, more around her quads than feet because that would only cause more damage. If something was going to go wrong with moving the Gryffindor, Kurumi wanted the blame to be put on her and not the others. "On three, one...two...." And Kurumi began to lift up on Alice until she was holding her at a comfortable height. "You alright?" she asked, her eyes darting around when she saw two Hufflepuffs seeming to be in some distress as well.
"Bliss, Glenn," Kurumi called while Walnut wove around her feet. "Go see the Groundskeeper about that wrist!" Or, well, mostly Bliss...but Glenn could go with her for support...or if she was hurt too. Kurumi hadn't really heard the entire conversation.
And THEN the Groundskeeper was asking for Prefects to get their housemates together. Well, first things first....and that was getting Alice to him. Waddling along with the small girl tucked into her arms - sorry Elodie, we had to let go of your hand for this - Kurumi approached the Groundskeeper and glanced over her shoulder.
"Sir, I managed a simple bandage on her leg, but she thinks it is broken," Kurumi explained as she continued to hold Alice's legs a little higher in the air. Kurumi would put Alice down, but if they just needed to pick her back up again it would only increase the chance for more injury...right?
See, this was why Kurumi was NOT going to be a Healer...at least not for people.
"I'm glad you're okay..." Elodie whispered back, resting her head against Kurumi's arm again, so no one saw the little wibble. Yes, Elodie, Gemini, Kurumi and her cat were OKAY. Thank gosh. But lots of people were hurt, and no one knew WHY the train wasn't moving, did they? No one knew, and that unnerved her more than anything. Because what if someone was trying to STOP them getting to Hogwarts?! HM? WHAT IF IT WAS DANGEROUS. DID YOU THINK OF THAT PROFESSORS?! NO. NO YOU DIDN'T. And Elodie wouldn't be a nice ghost, fyi.
When Kurumi let go of her hand, Els reached into her backpack, and patted Gemini quickly, before removing her baby blanket, and stroking the tassles along her nose. Some sort of comfort, she presumed....

She didn't like it when Mel was scared, 'cause SHE was the mature one. But Melanie seemed to be enjoying the presence of the cat. He was absolutely adorable. What was his name, Peanut? no, no, it was.. Walnut, she thought. Alice was very fond of cats. Especially pretty ones like Kurumi's. "You're a pretty kitty, aren't you?" she asked, cooing and rubbing the ickle think behind it's ears. She pulled the cat down next to her and pet it repeatedly. This one was as pretty as Penelope's.
OHYAY. Kurumi was offering her more cookies! Alice gingerly took one and popped it into her mouth. Mhmm. She would break her leg a thousand more times if it meant more of her Hogwarts Momma's cookies. But if she said something like that, Kurumi would probably have a panic!blush!attack, so she decided to keep her mouth shut. "My leg's not getting chopped off? I'm not going to die?!" YAY. Finally. SOME good news. "Awesome. I like my leg. And my life." Very much, thank you. Take a note of that, God, please do.
And then.. Kurumi was bandaging her legs? The bandage was made for support and was rather right. Alice couldn't help but let out a teeny cry of pain. "OOWWWWW." Okay. So. Not very teeny. But it did hurt quite a bit. And it was very awkward. Especially when Kurumi and Jake picked her up and stole her away from Alec and Melanie and James and Anya and Penelope. She especially wanted her Princess right now. "MELANNIE. NUUU." She grabbed onto Melanie's hand and dragged her alongside of the awkward group shuffle over to the Groundskeeper, only releasing her when they reached him. Kurumi was holding her under one arm, Jake under the other, and her legs were dangling awkwardly. Kurumi took her over to the Groundskeeper.. and.. wow, this was embarrassing. Most of the school was here and could probably see her hoisted up in the air.
She really hoped her friends couldn't see this.
SPOILER!!: Groundskeeper C:
Ahh. A stretcher. So Alice could lie down? YAY. She wanted a good long nap. She definitely needed to block everything out.. the scariness of the dark, abandoned train and the portkeys and the broken leg and the creepy wombat that belonged to the Groundskeeper. But she couldn't do that just yet. The man had conjured an odd looking device that looked like it was supposed to fit on a foot. And.. what?! Kurumi-cookie was supposed to PUT that on her?!
"Uhm.. what is that thing? Is it gonna hurt?" Was this the treatment Headmaster Redhead was talking about?! Was that device going to cut her open and dissect her insides?! NUUU. She wasn't going to be dissected. She had promised herself. "It looks creepy. I don't wanna put it on. Is it safe? Are you sure I'm supposed to?" She looked at Kurumi, her eyes wide and questioning. She wasn't going to put it on unless Kurumi said it was okay.

Nodding her head a little more obviously at her cat, the feline understood this silent signal (surprise!) and waddled his stubby legged self over to the girl and began to rub up against her leg again - putting on a show that he actually cared about her concern. "I think he wants to comfort you," Kurumi said softly.
Her attention was back on the Groundskeeper when he spoke and her heart somewhat sunk. HE didn't know what to do either? Or, well, he did but didn't. "Yes, I think I can sir," she nodded as she accepted it from him and turning her attention back to Alice.
Only to see Milton scampering off in the distance... "OI!" Kurumi shouted, taking a note from Selina. "Milton, grab some students before you take off!"
He DID have a badge on after all - even if the word didn't start with a P.
Now that Alice was on the stretcher, Kurumi held the splint over her leg and was just about to slip it on her and tie it securely when Alice began to panic slightly. Offering yet another cookie, Kurumi began to talk while she worked. She needed to get this on and fast. "It's not going to hurt. You might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but this is going to help keep your leg from getting worse. They are made to keep you stable to decrease pain and prevent further injury. I've worn one loads of times," Kurumi explained, splint on her leg now and her fingers moving quickly over the ties. "Kendo injuries and mostly on my arms and wrists. You've outdone me." Lame joke, but she needed to keep Alice distracted while she tied all these ties.
Tightening the last one to hold the splint in place, Kurumi slowly removed her hand. "How does that feel?"
And then Kurumi's attention was elsewhere when one of the Hogsmeade shopkeepers arrived. What was going on? Did moderate chaos count as an answer? "We all just arrived by portkey, sir. The Hogwarts Express...broke down." Or something. Kurumi really wasn't sure what happened. Was anyone? What happened to Mr. Shifty?
At his next request, Kurumi looked back at Alice. "Alice, you are going to be fine. The Groundskeeper will look after you. I'm going to take Melanie towards the carriages now and we will see you at the feast." Kurumi's eyes somewhat bore into the young lioness in attempt to show her her sincerity.
Which was also when she offered her hand towards the other girl, the one Walnut had HOPEFULLY been distracting during all this.

Melanie’s eyes just widened. ”But you’re not!” she protested. And she was pretty sure someone else would back her up on this. A broken leg was definitely not fine. Ever. A person was fine when they were all completely in one piece with nothing broken or bruised. She bit her lip, watching Alice pet the cat and then winced when she heard Alice let out that cry of pain or something.
Because it sounded really painful. Melanie was just going to stand there and wait but Alice had grabbed her hand. Gripping Alice’s hand, she followed, trying to keep up and not run into anyone as Alice was being carried over to the man.
There was a stretcher and a splint. That was never good. It was like… going to the hospital or something. Didn’t the man know some spells or something that could heal Alice? But it relaxed Melanie when the elder girl said that Alice would be fine. And the cat was rubbing against her leg again. The cat was definitely calming Melanie down a lot though… It was fuzzy… in a way. Like her teddy bear buried at the bottom of her bag. Melanie winced again though, when she watched the girl put the splint on Alice.
Alice was going to be fine. Queen Alice would definitely be fine, right? Of course. It was a broken leg… broken legs healed and no one would have to carry the younger girl to the castle. Wait – what? They would see her at the feast? Wasn’t Alice coming with them? Melanie bit her lip and looked at the elder’s girl outstretched hand.
“I’ll see you at the feast, Queen Alice, be careful,” Melanie said, pulling her blanket out of her bag and covering the younger girl. “Be warm, it might get cold,” she added. Because she didn’t want Queen Alice to catch a cold AND have a broken leg. Melanie took the girl’s hand and glanced at the blonde, then looked at the cat. “Let’s go kitty,” she said to the cat.

SPOILER!!: Alice & Melanie
Kurumi laced her fingers together with the two younger girls, Melanie and Elodie, and was just about to begin to make her way towards the carriages when Alice spoke again, clearly still panicking. Not that Kurumi could blame her. This was just madness.
"Alice, you are going to be just fine and we will all see you soon at the feast. Riding in the boats will be safer for you and your leg," she said softly. She glanced at Walnut and gave him another nod towards Alice. Walnut's ears might have gone down for a moment, but he eventually agreed. See, he could be a softie....best be getting loads of tuna flakes out of all this...and a proper pampering... So he strut over towards the girl and flopped onto the stretcher. "Just be brave. Remember, you're a Gryffindor and you now have the King of the Gryffindors with you," she winked, nodding at her cat.
Self-made title by the feline really.
Standing back up, Kurumi tugged gently on the two girls. "To the carriages then. See you soon, Alice." And with that Kurumi began to walk towards the carriages, pausing just for a brief moment. "Second through seventh years! If you are not injured please make your way to the carriages!" she repeated. There were some new people to have portkeyed to the platform.
Kurumi's own ears were still ringing slightly and she had a terrible headache from her fall on the train, but it wasn't anything to be concerned about, right? N'aw, she was fine. So, off to the carriages...which caused Kurumi to shiver slightly.
She had almost forgotten that she could see thestrals now. "Alright, in you two go."
The whole relocating thing seemed a blur to Elodie and it really did show on her face. She wasn't tiny at all, but she wasn't like some of the seventh years and tall, because she was only twelve. But on the little girls face, it could only be taken as worry. Her eyes bugged out. Her hair a mess, even still. Her blanket stroking her nose. And now her thumb in her mouth. She had outgrown the whole thumb in the mouth thing when she was five. It had reappeared after her mother's death, but only for a few months.
Braison said it only happened when she felt like a baby. When she felt helpless.
Which was right.
That was how she felt right now. Helpless.
She'd followed closely behind Kurumi, purely so she had someone that knew what they were doing around her. And she didn't want to leave her side, because she felt safe there. With Lady Kurumi.
Quiet. Quiet. Quiet.
She stayed that way until Kurumi's hand slipped back into hers, and it seemed that awoke her because she gave the hand a squeeze and leant her head back into the arm of her saviour. "Where are we going? Why are we leaving her? I don't like this, Kurumi. I want to go home. Can you take me home, now? I'm sure they won't mind. Please, Kurumi?" Were the words that divulged their quick walk to a carriage, and the final plea came as Elodie climbed into it, watching over her shoulder, a pout set on her face.
She guessed that Kurumi was going to get into the carriage with them, and therefore budged up so there was room beside her....but then her older friend was leaving them. "Ku...Ku...Miss?! Miss! Don't...I..." WIBBLE. She was being abandoned, and she couldn't just handle that. No, no, she couldn't. Hanging out the carriage door, Els held her empty hand out (aka, the one that had been holding the prefect's) and pouted. "They won't die, I promise! Come with uuuussss." Please, please, pretty please?
James was being ignored! He walked shakily up to the groundskeeper and tapped his shoulder. "Uh...Mr. Groundskeeper, sir...can I go on the carriages or do I have to get on a boat?" he asked quietly. He was in too much pain to talk any louder.
Ohhhh oops. He knew that he had been forgetting something. Well make that someone. Sebastian hadn't meant to ignore the lad, he was just a little overwhelmed with all of this. He really wasn't expecting pandamonium on his first day.
"My apologies mate." he said giving the young man an apologetic smile. "You can ride with this young lady here. She's injured as well."

A carriage would be nice." The firsties were kind if intimidating.. and scary. She sat up on the stretcher and watched as the new groundskeeper calling the ickle newbies to attention.
She had a feeling was going to like this one.
Mr Seb man? Oh Merlin! Sebastian couldn't help it. He burst out laughing imagining this young girl calling him across the grounds Mr Seb man. "It sounds like the title of a rap song." he chuckled.
He directed his wand at the stretcher and levitated it. "I'm going to take you to the carriages now and this young man here." he jerked his thumb in the Slytherin's direction. "Is going to accompany you." Because he was hurt too.
After Oakey's relieved himself of the cookies, he walke around the Platform some trying to find anyone he could recognize. He wanted to make sure that his friends were arriving. Every so often he would need to step out of the way of someone falling right above him.
When he moved to the side for the next person to land he looked at her red hair. She wasn't the Headmistress, the captains badge on her robe gave her away. "Renesmee are you alright?" Oakey asked sounding worried.
She seemed fine because her attention was directed towards something cradling in her hands. Oakey put his hand on her shoulder and looked over to see a Pygmy Puff lying motionless in front of him. "Renesmee is it?...
Before he could finish his sentence Charmer, his black cat started hissing at the little thing. "Charmer stop!" Oakey said turning away from Renemsee who probably didn't need her still puff being hissed at by a dumb cat. Charmer wanted out of his grip though, the cat began to struggle and clawed at Oakey's forearm. Making Oakey drop his cat to the ground. "Charmer no, Charmer come back! Leave them alone!"
NO! JUST NO!
All Renesmee wanted to do now was scream and shout. This wasn't fair. Puffles could not leave her now..it just couldn't happen. Not now not ever. The red head shover her pygmy puff once more, but still he didn't move an inch, and before she could get all teary, someone was calling her.
It was Oakey, she could hear by he's voice, but she refused to turn around and look at him. She was too afraid her emotions would burst, and she didn't want to do that on her first day of term. "I'm..I'm fine." she answered he's question honestly. Physically she was alright and that was truthful enough to her.
Is it what? He better had not thought it was dead...because Puffles was NOT dead. She refused to think that, he was just motionless maybe he was asleep that was all she would let herself think. He'd be fine..he just had to be.
"He's..he's not..not..moving." She frowned some more. Was he even breathing? She wasn't sure how to check, but the most she could do was hope he was. He must have gotten a fright from the potkey and all.
*blink*
That cat! It needed to get away, because if there was one thing Puffles didn't like it was cats and if he had to wake up to see one things wouldn't go so smoothly. As the cat jumped out of Oakey's arms, Ness resisted the urge to shout at it and instead held onto to Puffles closer as she stood up.
She looked at Oakey, trying to think of what to do about this now. "I need to see someone that can check him." she said already thinking of the ComC Professor, that was possibly going to be a complete stranger to her for the time being.
