Weird. Eery. And Elliot was glad for it. She gulped and look back at Presley. "I can't." Was all she said, but she thought she knew who Presley had seen...snuff it. The carriage rumbled on...and Elliot found herself regretting asking Presley that.. |

She shrugged. "They're kinda cool actually. And super kind. It's like having a pet horse, that is really dark and underfed." She chuckled. Animals grossed Presley out, but for some reason she liked the thestrals. They were the kind of animals that sensed when they were or weren't welcome, and they respected space. "It was my mum," she said suddenly, not knowing why she was telling this to the other girl. "She had cancer, and we knew it was coming, you know? At least I got a chance to say goodbye." She stopped. "Sorry, I didn't mean to...never mind." Presley quickly cast around for another subject. "How's your little brother?" She instantly regretted asking that. Little Darius was kind of a sore spot last time Presley had checked. |

The blonde couldn't tear her gaze away from Presley at this point...even though she desperately wanted to. Cancer...she wasn't familiar with it. "I figured..." meaning her mother. Elliot had figured that much. "It wasn't something the healers could fix?" she asked quietly... And she needn't have apologized. Elliot merely shot her friend a small grin, TEEEEENY grin. Like a hey, I don't mind. But that still didn't mean Elliot would allow Presley to cry or anything. EWWW! Oh MERLIN. Darius Jr. Elliot sighed and blinked a few times. "He's...going to be spoiled rotten." All of the special treatment he was given at home by her mother..."and he has our eyes," she pointed to her own. "Not Morganzo eyes." Which incensed her. She loved having pretty blue eyes...but she craved to look more Morganzo. Brunette hair with chocolate eyes. "And we think he's going to have blonde hair...like me and Dani and Sam..." Poor boy didn't even LOOK Morganzo, either. |

"Cute kid then," Presley smirked. That kid would be spoiled. Not only was he the heir to the Morganzo estate, but he was the youngest, and the only boy. Three points in his favor. The kid was going to grow up with an entitlement complex. Presley almost felt bad for the day he learned that not everybody cared what your heritage was. |

What she WANTED to say was that Mr. Black shouldn't have gone off and married a MUGGLE! But she held her tongue, for once. "But...no private healers?" because there were some healers...that her father hired to privately treat them...especially if he got a nasty bite from something extreme illegal or something... Elliot scowled. "He's cute. Sure, I guess. But I won't give him what he wants. I am going to make every second of his existence hard...he's going to learn to be tough...because Morganzo's CANNOT be pansies.." she growled...And as a plus, she would be getting a little revenge in doing so.
