She frowned at him. Hadn't he seen the awful troll in the pink confection? With her blonde hair and blue eyes and perfect figure? Well..she wasn't going to steal her man! No sir. Nell wave a finger at him. "I may not be blond and beautiful but I won't have some prissy blond princess trying to take my man!" She giggled at her own finger and wave it some more. Sleep....sleep was good....sleep would make everything better.... A frowned crossed her face as she was rolled over and told to talk. The world tilted a bit and she grabbed onto Edmund to keep from sliding off the Earth. "You want me to talk? Fine. I think you should ask me out cause if not some girl who's prettier then me will!" Wait...that wasn't right....why was it so hard to form a single thought. Her hand went to her head and she grunted in frustration. "A prettier girl will catch you..." She mumbled. His yell for help echoed around in her skull. What were the words trying to play ping pong in there? "Stop yelling." She whimpered. |

"I would like to try out. Take Slytherin to Victory!" The last part was said with great enthusiasm. Ganymede's family were mostly Slytherins and they even had the decor in their living room silver and green. She only knew two relatives who ended up as Gryffindors on her Mother's side. "I suppose Gryffindor would be my second choice." She shrugged at the thought, as though it was just something she'd settle on. :: Quote:
Ganymede wasn't the best at making friends, she was a bit of a self involved spazz who could easily insult someone rather than be friendly. But so far, Ganymede remembered her manners and was making progress. :: |

"Yes, talk." He looked momentarily surprised at her boldness. Did she not remember the conversation they'd had on the train? "I already did ask you out, Nell. I asked if we could go on a date every Hogsmeade weekend and you accepted." Well this was one of the strangest encounters he'd ever had. "I promise, no other girl will get me." He'd been owling her all holidays and even waited up all night just to get her letter, hadn't he? "Sorry." Edmund spoke quietly, trying to ignore the smell of vomit. Well he was of age, wasn't he? He awkwardly extracted his wand and pointed it at the place her sick had hit the ground. "Scourgify." There, much better. |

And where was Aspen? He looked around for his sister. "My friends?" What did they LOOK like? "They look.... cool. But short. Most of them are short." And West had had a growth spurt during the summer, and last measured at 5'3 which wasn't too bad for a twelve year old. He pulled a chocolate frog out of his pocket and opened it. |

She nodded over at her with her ambitious plan to lead the house to victory. "I see...but I heard they haven't been winning Quidditch." Luckily she had a friend who had been coming here to tell her all this. "If you really want to win Quidditch with your team then you have to be in Hufflepuff...or at least that's what they say." Lex shrugged. It really didn't matter very much to her. They could have been reigning champions for centuries, she still didn't want to be a puff. |
Text Cut: Nell, Amelia and Ed FINALLY! Letting Ed take her from his arms, "Don't let her go te sleep, Ed. She's pretty out of it." his worry showed in his eyes. "She needs a healer real badly." Looking back towards where he'd left her he winced, "she's back there I had te let her stay there she hurt her ankle, but Nell looked a lot worse. so I had te come." Biting his lip he didn't see her, and turned back to Ed. "Get her te a carriage and if I'm not there right away ye go on, I'll find ye." His eyes were still wide especially when Nell said she'd beaten the pink princess. "Yes, yes ye did." Erm, okay then... Turning with one last glance at Ed and Nell he ran back towards where he'd left Amelia. Seeing her on the ground, he dropped down beside her. "Amelia are ye..." Looking down at her hand that had blood on it, he bit hit lip HARD because that was the one thing he really couldn't handle. The pain in his tongue now after he felt like he bit it off, he swallowed. "Yer hurt." YEP don't look at her hand...nor where the heck she found the blood. WHERE THE HECK WAS IT??? "Can ye get te yer feet?" he asked "If I help ye?" Then he'd pick her up but it was going to be hard if she was on the ground when he tried to lift her! JUST DON'T TOUCH ME OR SHOW ME THAT BLOOD!!! |
omg. I couldn't resist. Quote:
THINGS. Things like 'haven't been winning Quidditch'. and 'have to be in Hufflepuff.' The BEST chaser in Hogwarts SCOFFED loudly and GLARED at the girl. She didn't know NOTHING. |

Cardigan nodded a little, confirming what Kurumi had said. They would get into a carriage with her and then be off to Hogwarts. Right. It would be good to have her jaw stable, keeping it from being any further injured. She wouldn't want anyone creating a whole big fuss about nothing but a broken jaw. A little attention? Good. A lot of attention? Not so much. Things could get crazy, and further damaged. Not fun. Not at all. |
Ahhh, Mr. Odessa... Quote:
No, that couldn't have been it because she hadn't done anything wrong; yet. Lex turned fully so she could face him. This was needed for her to size him up properly. Hmm...he didn't look much older than her...wasn't much taller either...probably didn't weigh much more; he would be easy enough to tackle to the floor if he got rude. Yup. "Did I say something wrong?" She challenged. Lex could hardly remember her last sentence so she had no idea how it might have had anything to do with this boy. |
Text Cut: Genie & a bit of Dylan "Thanks. You have pretty hair too." Oh, great. They were leaving. Abby took Genie's offered hand and jumped up.. which was a mistake because the sudden movement was making her head spin. She closed her eyes for a moment and waited for the spinning to stop. Maybe this injury was even worse that she thought. Siiigh. "Lets go." Because she really didn't want to stay in this crowded nightmare longer than necessary. She eyed the boy who was going to help them get to the carriages. "If you're going to sing, I'm sure we can find someone else to help us." Because she was not going to tolerate any more singing today. Abby stared after the boy. "What's he so upset about? He was the one who was wasting your time by faking his injury." And, President's daughter? Hm. That was going to have to wait for later though. Right now, Abby was more concerned about her health. |

Paaause. "And Hufflepuff were third overall last year. We beat them TWICE." Just so that she knew. "And now you know." |

"Sorry." She mumbled. Her hand went to her head again. "I dont think Im myself right now." |
Text Cut: Edmund & Nell Okay, pause the escape-to-the-carriages-unseen plan for a second. There was a couple.. with the girl seemingly semi-conscious. Louisa frowned in concern and jogged over to them, "Oh my gosh, what's happened?" She knelt before them, staring intently at the girl's face and then up at the boy's. "She's from Ravenclaw, right? Penelope? I know her!" Her voice suddenly quivering just a little from the tension of the situation. She didn't want one of her housemates to die! On her watch! :whaa: |

Merlin this kid needed a life. She tilted her head at him when he began naming names. He seemed downright proud about every name he listed too. "Hmm...that's interesting..." Actually she was only half paying attention. "...but you're forgetting something...those names don't mean a thing to me because I don't know who any of them are and I've never seen them play before." So really even if she wanted to be impressed she couldn't."[/b] "And trust me, after the day I've had, you can't convince me that anyone is scarier than scary bat-girl." The two he mentioned might have been willing to break her face but she was sure that other girl was capable of much worse! |
SPOILER!!: Dylan, Abby, Nate, Vi Was it just him or was the Slytherin waaaay to happy as he talked to Genevieve about what was going on. If so Gideon couldn't wait until quidditch to wipe his smirky expression away. His head tilting as his fellow seventh year told him to calm down...the boy shaking his head head to push it all away. There were other things to do and leaving was one of them, the seventh year nodding at the Hufflepuff girl who suggested it when he came back into the fold. "Aye...I think we will be doing just that." Though an idea came to mind as Genevieve suggested roles to each of them. "However I think Dylan here..." he thought that was his name since Selina would have met him in person with captainy things. "...should go after that boy," Gideon suggested pointing off to the younger huffie, Nate, that had stalked off from them after Genevieve's comments. Presiden't daughter...how did he know that?! Perhaps the captain dealing with him will make him think twice about being so uppy about him being spoken to himself. While he himself helped with the girl....Abby was it. Seventh Year Prefect trumped fifth year captain...right? Gideon moved over closer to the two girls and offered Abby his shoulder, leaning down a little so he wasn't so high. "And my name's Gideon. Whenever yer settled, we'll move and be school-bound." |
Text Cut: Nell and Louisa No kidding! He gazed at her helplessly for a moment, trying to work out what to say. But thankfully someone else had come over to help. "Uhh, she got hit by the trunks when the train stopped and ever since she's just been... strange." Yes, that was a good way to describe someone who was threatening a non-existent blonde haired princess who had supposedly kidnapped him. Mhmm. "Yeah, Ravenclaw, Penelope Lockwood. She prefers Nell though." Oh, SHE KNEW HER? "Brilliant! You can help me then? I think she needs to go see the healer. She's been uh.. throwing up." Edmund wrinkled his nose and stowed his wand once more. "I just don't know where to go." It suddenly crossed his mind he should know the name of this girl. "What's your name?" |

It had been in the news lately. Presley no longer living with her father, her brother turning her away. Presley now lived with her muggle aunt, and hated it. "And you know it's my birthday today?" September first. "Leo didn't even, I mean...God I sound like such a blithering idiot. The point is, Leo didn't come see me off at the platform. And my father didn't send a card." Presley would never admit it, but right now what she wanted most was for her father to forgive her, and for Leo to forgive her. But she was a Black, she couldn't step back and let them win. It would never happen. She was to proud to go and ask for forgiveness, and her family was too proud to back down and let her be right. |
Vivi, Gilly, and mentions of Nate Listening to her dialogue with Gilly just made Dylan roll his eyes. He didn't really understand the concept of having to ask for permission...Especially from a girl. Scary Selina must have a tight leash on the GryffinBoy...for him to be thinking about THAT now. Focusing on what the girl was saying, he made a face. Was he actually being asked to...put his hands on this girl? Or were they using magic? "Sure." Because...he didn't want her telling him off. *blinnnnk* What an incredibly rude little Puffer-Boy. Giving him a mean look, the Captain offhandly heard the Prefect mentioning his name. He thought Dylan...what? "Actually Gilly...I think as a Prefect, YOU should go after him...Unless you think you won't be able handle..." Yes. He HAD just suggested that. Moving a bit closer to the two girls and giving Gilly a look, he smirked. "I'm going to help these ladies...and let the Prefect handle the mouthy little boy...because really, it's not Quidditch related." So, really. Seventh Year Prefect does NOT trump Fifth Year Captain. "My name's Dylan, by the way..." He'd forgotten to mention as much before. |
took so long cause i was laughing hysterically at WEST ODESSA and his slytherin pride Quote:

The older girl nodded. "I'm Okay, A little shaken and sore from a poor portkey landing, but I'm fine." She looked the girl over. Laura didn't look any worse for the wear. "How about you, are you alright? Did you notice anything weird on the train, besides the lights and stopping I mean." What Em really wanted to know was if the girl had seen something in the middle of the train that they hadn't seen in the food trolley. |
A new voice penetrated the fog in her brain and her glazed eyes tracked to the owner. Memories tugged at her mind. Nell squinted her eyes at the girl. First she wasn't the pink harpy and second she knew the girl. "Louisa!" She smiled at her fellow housemate. "Have you met my boyfriend?" She patted Edmund's arm. "The pink princess tried to steal him but I beat her." She whispered conspiratorially though her speech slurred again. Nell rested her head on Ed's shoulder. "I'm going to sleep now." |

SHE SAID YES?? SCORE! Adam sighed with relief. "Awesome!" He couldn't stop grinning now. Where'd Rons get off to? Adam was ready for her to come back now. GRIN. |
Emmaleigh and co. Portkey. Now that was one way to get to school. It was certainly much quicker. Why didn't they do this every year? It would save a whole lot of time and then he wouldn't have to deal with peeing kitties... Although, if there was no train then he wouldn't of had all that fun in the Prefect's compartment. But wait. His hair! How did it look? Portkey travel may be quick, but it was breezy. He turned on the spot, trying to find something reflective that he could check his hair on but it seemed as if there was NOTHING available. Elijah spotted the older girl who he and Vickers had played bowling with over the summer. "HEY YOU!" he called out to her, rushing in her direction. "Your a girl, right? So you must have a mirror. Can I borrow it please?" |

Milton tugged her arm a little more so they could walk a little faster. The feast awaited! |
Elijah Em looked around as she heard some one yelling, wondering who it was, and who they were after. It was the boy from bowling, and the prefect's compartment, and he was yelling after her. A half smile came across her face, due to his wind blown hair. However, when she heard his question, the smile quickly disappeared. "Yes, I am a girl." she said, her voice taking on an icy tone. "And, no, I don't have a mirror." Why on earth would she have one of those things on her? If she carried one around with her, not only would it take up space, but it would also give her seven years bad luck. |
