"Ouch!' Kat squealed as she landed on the ground of the Hogsmeade Platform, butt first. Man, how much she HATED Portkeys. First, they can feel themselves baited on a hook as if they were getting fed to the Giant Squid, and then they hurt themselves at the landing. NO MORE PORTKEYS. NONE AT ALL. She stood up and dusted away the dirt on her uniform. Nasty portkeys, whoever invented these, she thought to herself. After, she went on her way to a carriage and climbed up to take a seat. The carriage moved... on its own? Oh right, thestrals. That was a tiring journey from Platform 9 and 3/4. She should really tell her family about this experience. |

So yes, Milton, you were getting your cookies SPOILER!!: omg we want to keep her FOREVER! <33 Elodie <33 The panic that had someone manage to leave Kurumi's face was back when she heard little Elodie speaking, no, BEGGING her to stay with her and...wait...was she sucking her thumb? Part of Kurumi felt as though this girl needed some tough love, the sort of love her mother had given her and she was now able to recognize....too late unfortunately. However, Kurumi really was her father's daughter and that meant that her heart and everything melted at the tears and innocence of a young girl who was just feeling scared. "Shhh shhh shhh," Kurumi coed softly as she made eye contact with the second year. "You can still ride with me if you want. I'll be getting in a different carriage once I make sure everyone is on one." So, the Gryffindor's hand was out again for her to take if she wanted. Poor thing had been through a lot today and Kurumi was going to cut her some slack. |
Text Cut: Nell, Isaac and Amelia O___________________O Was this how every year at Hogwarts started?! And did most of these kids not know how to use a portkey?! Utterly confused, but mostly okay, Edmund landed skillfully on the platform and immediately set about trying to find Nell. She'd been hit pretty bad, but he'd managed to get her to a portkey and help a couple of stragglers before getting told off by the red-headed woman and forced to leave. He whipped around when he heard his friend's raised voice. Ooops! In trouble! He weaved through the people and skidded to a stop in front of Isaac who was carrying Nell. "Oh my! Nell! Are you okay?!" He instantly started fussing over her. "She got hit by the trunks when the train stopped!" He gave Isaac a grateful look as he took her from him. "Thanks mate, sorry it took a while. Uhm, where's the girl you were with earlier?" He glanced around, trying to make sure she was okay - it seemed like they were close. "Are you hurt?" his eyes sweeped quickly over his friend to check he was okay. And where was the healer?! This wasn't how he'd pictured his one and only Hogwarts year starting, with |
Okay, so getting help was taking a lot longer that Bliss had hoped for really, so she decided that she really didn't want to wait around any long, her broken wrist was only a minor injury, surely someone back at the castle could fix it for her. It was nothing really to fuss about now. So she said her goodbyes to Elise and Glenn and made her way towards the carriages. Carriages that she could see already, pulled themselves. This place truly was magical, she thought to herself and set off walking towards the carriages. |

And this thought actually scared him more than anything. Since he was in his OWL year... he needed to train or else he would fail so dramatically. Maybe he would be the first person to EVER fail their OWLS ?! Hearing her whisper the word Thestral, Daichi's eyes suddenly widened as he remembered how Kurumi had explain to him why he could see them and others not. He cleared his throat and looked down at his left hand where Mr.Duckles was. "I...can.." he simply stated but did not talk any further. It was a rather sensitive subject to be talking at this point. Besides, they needed to go to the carriages or else they would go without them. And having to drag a minor injured person was not fun. Quote:
He waited for those two to finish their introductions when Juliet suddenly got away from him. "Juliet , what are you doing? jeez!" he said in slight shock and went to her side again to give her a supportive arm. "Lets get in a carriage" he said as he motioned Indy as well with his free hand in which he was holding his plushy duck. |
THUD! She was on her feet, her hoodie had fallen off her head and her HAIR was all over her shoulders, with the abnormally short lock probably visible. Louisa took a moment to make sure the ground was stable beneath her. It wasn't really that bad, apparation was worse and she'd felt it. Maybe the empty stomach helped her body to deal well, too? Yeah, probably. But now she had more important issues at her hands than contemplating which was worse; Her hair. Louisa moved to the side, her eyes making a quick scan to the crowd around her. It was dark, thank Merlin for the darkness!, so no one should be staring at her or eying her hair... that was important. Quickly, she gathered it all into a bun and slipped it under the hoodie and re-wore her Poker face from the train. Her cats BETTER get to the castle undamaged or that Armen man was going to get a very strong worded letter from this Ravenclaw. Hmph. Louisa saw someone leading the first years to the boats and gave a sigh of relief, the others must get to the carriages then. She never minded the carriages, never been able to see the creatures pulling them but that didn't bother her. Tonight, however, it was the darkness that really had its toll on her newborn paranoia. She swallowed, frowned slightly and started for the carriages. |
West had eventually said goodbye to his broom and the healer and looked for a manly portkey to take him to the platform. He'd settled on a button, which he clasped tightly and then he landed with a.... ... a ting. A gentle ting. He didn't LIKE portkeys but it wasn't like it was hard to use one. Looking around, West totally judged all the bad landings. What, didn't people know how to portkey with swag anymore? Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeere were his friends? |
They'd wandered along long enough, even picking Glenn up into their group as they did. The search for a teacher was proving to be a little fruitless, and Elise was getting tired. Bliss had said goodbye and left them in favour of getting to the school first. Maybe that would've been a smart idea, but Elise wasn't keen on waiting too long for help. Ignoring the throb of her awkwardly bent arm was proving difficult, so she looked around for a prefect or someone who could help. Wincing a little, she moved faster towards the carriages. Maybe they were there? Would someone maybe help her? |
Hope you don't mind... :) Quote:

Hurry Captain! Food awaits! "No, I'm fine. The carriages ain't that far anyway." No sitting dooooown! Oh, for Merlin's sake, how can he even think of sitting down when their stomachs were growling like lions?! And, eh? Choco? Beezus eyed the chocolate frog on Milton's hand before grimacing. "Errr..no, thank you.. I'm..allergic to that." And even if it was going to cure everything, she wasn't laying her hands on it. So, can we just hurry now? Walk? Walk? Walk? The carriages were only a few steps away. |

West stumbled a little when someone collided with him and turned around to look. "Yeah you do." West agreed. And then to be helpful, he pointed out, "You crashed into me." But he supposed it meant that he could make this girl owe him one. Or TWO even if he helped a bit. "Are you a FIRST year?" Because she didn't look OLDER than him at least. |

Seeing the Groundskeeper moving students a long and heading towards the boats (?) Kurumi ventured towards the younger Hufflepuff from earlier. "Here, let me do a quick bandage of that for you until we can get you to see the Healer," Kurumi said softly, removing her wand from her pocket. That is, if the girl would be alright with that. Quote:
Woah, the area was sort of spinning there for a moment. Shaking her head and crossing her eyes for a few moments to refocus, Kurumi turned her gaze on the wandering Ravenclaw. "Hey, you alright?" |
*luffs on you* Quote:
"I don't know," she confessed. "I fell in the train and I can't really feel my fingers anymore." She didn't really bother to say that she thought it was broken. Nope. Cause that obvious unsightly bulge on her arm should have said it for her. Don't look, Elise. |

A second year? For reals? "I am too!" A second year, that was. but new at Hogwarts? "We get to go on the carriages up to the school." He explained. "I've never been on them either but I know all about them obviously. Because I know lots of things, obviously." Because he was West Odessa. Obviously. "Come on, you can share a carriage with me. I GUESS. But I'm just looking for my friends first. They might have gone already though." |

SPOILER!!: *COMBINES!* Not....going...to....faint... The color was draining a little from her features. There was no blood...so that was something at least. There WAS no blood, right?! No, Kurumi really didn't want to look closely enough at the moment... Hearing both girls, Kurumi's eyes crossed again briefly and then refocused. Right, bandages. "Okay, um...seeing as the Groundskeeper has gone to the boats...what I'll do is a very basic spell that will stabilize your injuries until you can see the Healer." She had already said this to Bliss, but the Ravenclaw hadn't heard yet so, just covering her basis. First, Kurumi took a hold of Bliss' arm well above her injury and slowly raised it before pointing her want to it. "Ferula," she whispered, her voice shaking slightly as a splint and bandages wrapped themselves around her arm. Attention now on the Ravenclaw, Kurumi took one look at her arm and some more of the color left her features. There was a...um...yeah...something wasn't shaped the way it was supposed to. Repeating the spell, Kurumi swallowed. "Make sure to keep your arm up, above your heart, as much as possible...and go see the Healer right away." Because...yeah...that wasn't supposed to be sticking out the way it was....and...yeah... |

Her head lolled over onto Ed's shoulder jarring it and she saw stars. Nell groaned managing to scramble out of Edmund's arms and over to the edge of the platform where she was promptly sick all over again. Merlin but she was sleepy! Her body felt like it weighed 100 pounds so she lowered it to the ground and cradled her head in her arm. Maybe if she slept she'd feel better? Sleeeeppppp........ |
SPOILER!!: The not awesome person "Umm excuse me, but I really am in pain. Also I'm a person, and the way you're talking to me isn't nice. As a matter a fact I'd expect better from the president's daughter. And if I WAS faking it I'd be crying, because trust me I rarely cry. I've seen my mum and da die of an unforgiveable curse, so would you really think I would cry?" Nate replied to the sassy girl. I mean just because she's the president's daughter doesn't mean she rules the school. That's the headmaster's job. After Nate said that he said "You won't have to be dealing with me anymore." After he said that he walked over trying hard not to cry from both the pain, and the fact that someone just said that he was faking it. He walked up to an empty carriage, and threw his stuff in with his good arm. Before he got inside he pulled out a bandana, and used it to make a sling to hold his arm in place. He got onto the empty carriage, then he was off. |

He just stared at her shocked when she wriggled out of his arms - what, didn't she want to be there? When she vomited, he pulled a face. "Well that's one way of greeting a new school year." he muttered as he crouched down next to her and lifted her head gently. "Nell, talk to me. Keep talking to me, okay?" He knew one thing and that was not to let her sleep. "Can I get some help?" he called out, hoping someone would look her over and make her feel better. |
Sorry I took so long. I couldn't stop laughing. Quote:
Wincing as the bandages wrapped themselves around her arm, Elise made a very conscious effort not to watch it. Because it hurt. And looking at things like this always made them hurt more. Elise nodded at the instructions. Okay, that she could do. "Thank you," she smiled, grateful for the fact that she could look at her arm without wincing or cringing. Wait. Was she getting paler? "Are you okay?" she asked suddenly. |

Being owed a favor was so much better. "But I'll check in with Selina if you're worried. For now... why don't you help the faker, because Hasty here needs assistance as well." And she was very put out with the kid with the box and the cat. Quote:

Vivi bounced to her feet and offered a hand up to the girl. Yes, she'd just made Hasty sit down, and now it was time to get up again. "Let's get to the carriages. Do you know the direction? This... Slytherin kid is going to help us." Because he hadn't offered his name. She looked around Hasty and said, "I'm Genevieve, and this is Abby. Can you give us a hand?" Quote:
He was gone, though, and Vivi lowered her face and offered an arm to Hasty without comment. |
