Chooooo choooo! The Hogwarts Express has arrived at last (or has it???). Either way, you're almost to Hogwarts, so get off the train and get going to the school!
First years, follow the groundskeeper to the lake. Second years and up, go for the horseless (thestral-led) carriages. Don't forget anything on the train, because you won't see it for another 9 months!

Alice wished she had Frank. Or her bunny teddy. Or her pig rabbit. Any of the three would be of comfort now. Her leg was causing her excruciating pain, and she couldn't even see Jake or Anya around anywhere. And to top it all off, James seemed to be having a panic attack. "James-y.. you okay?" Obviously not. He was like.. writhing on the ground. That was bad.. right? "I'm okay," she told Penelope. "My leg hurts, but I think I can crawl to a carriage." Though she would look kind of odd. Maybe she should just wait for the Headmistress and the Ministry person to get there? She didn't know. She wasn't exactly sure of anything yet.

She had traveled by them enough times that one would imagine she should be able to land properly on her feet by now, but that wasn't the case. At least she didn't roll to a stop like she had done when she had arrived at Lewis' home over the summer. Especially when one considered that she was clutching a very VERY puffy and displeased Walnut right now.
Ears down, eyes the size of saucers, Walnut let out an exasperated meow that sounded more like a balloon deflating than anything else. "It's alright, Walnut, we made it," Kurumi said as she let go of the hula hoop and pushed herself up off the ground again.
Looking around the platform and seeing who all was there, Kurumi noticed the new groundskeeper who looked...a little more focused than the previous. Kurumi herded a few first years towards the man when she noticed Elodie on the platform looking...well...frightened. "Hey, you okay?" she asked, bending over and offering the young Hufflepuff her hand. Yes, she could latch on to it if she wanted. "How is Gemini holding up?"
Which was when she also noticed a small crowd gathered around someone...someone who looked like Alice. "Alice?! What happened to you?!" Kurumi exclaimed as she got a little closer. Oh...that...that did not look so good. "Alice, we need to get you to the Healer." There was no way Kurumi was capable enough to handle these sorts of injuries. "Here, take one of these. The sugar might help you feel better."
At least, one of her wishes came true. Out of nowhere, her Hogwarts Momma appeared. "KURUMIIII." Yay. Kurumi was better than any Headmistress or creepy Ministry person. "I fell on the compartment floor when the train stopped. The luggage fell on me. I think I broke my leg." It hurt. A lot. And she couldn't walk. Where was Alec to give a piggyback ride when you really needed one? "I can't walk. So I can't exactly get to a Healer." Was the Healer on the train? .. But Alice still didn't want the 'treatment.' NO. No way she was gonna let some headmistress dissect her.
And.. AND KURUMI HAD BROUGHT COOKIES. And a pretty cat."You have cookies?!" She was gonna taste one of her Momma's cookies for the first time? The lioness took the cookie from the older girl. They were very pretty, with the Hogwarts crest frosted on them and all. And they looked scrumptious. She gingerly took a bite. Mhmmm. They tasted like heaven. "These are the best cookies EVER," she said, slipping her hand into Kurumi's and giving it a squeeze. "Thanks."

OUCH!
Portkeys are always like this. It's a bit annoying how you can't exactly get the whole arriving correctly. Juliet arrived at Hogsmeade or rather, landed on her knees. Which now hurts because she did not expect she would land on them. Well, it could be worse... like landing with your face which she didn't..... THANKFULLY. Both her arms saved her from that.
Phew. However.
Juliet bit her lower lip as she tried to stand up, slowly. Bending down a bit to look at her knees, she gasped seeing as her left knee had a small bruise... nothing to serious or something but still there is that bruise. She should work on her landings next time. Practice on it so she could get used with portkeys.
Trying her best to stand up, she tried fixing herself--- her hair, dress and her sling bag. Her whole experience right now is just different from what she expected. Okay, where to next?

THUD. CRASH.
The first was the sound of Pao, Alexa, Emmanuelle, and their broken guitar neck contacting the platform. The second, Thomas's cage making contact and breaking. "Oww..." Pao groaned, not sure what had just happened. He wished someone had bothered to explain to him what that was going to feel like.
His senses finally catching up with his whereabouts, he sat up and looked for his toad's cage. Locating it quickly, he saw that the door had once again swung free of its hinges. Great. Now I have a toad to find. "Thomas, where'd you go?" He looked behind him and yelled "Thanks!" to the two girls before setting off on a hunt. He weaved in and out of people, cages, and trunks. "Thomas!" he exclaimed, spotting the animal. Scooping him up, he stowed him safely in his pocket. Clearly the cage was broken beyond repair.
A small gathering of students directly in front of him caught his eye. There was a sign as well. Oh, that's for me! Pao made his way over there, milling in the group and waiting for instructions. He didn't know anyone, so he simply stood quietly, not taking part in any discussions or speculation.
Sebastian stood on the platform of Hogsmeade station with a very excited Pepper who was bouncing around and trying to get off her lead. While Millie kept close to Sebastian's feet trying to keep out of Pepper's way. He had the feeling that when the students arrived that he was going to end up carrying the young wombat.
He checked his watch and the train should be arriving at any moment. He lent back against the sign that he had erected while quietly pleading for Pepper to behave herself.
He was almost as excited as Pepper was.
ooc: Okies I need to head to bed. I'll be back in about six or so hours. Please have your charrie make their way over to the Groundskeeper.
Today was certainly a day of firsts for Aidan. First time on a train. First time travelling by Portkey. And first time.........at Hogwarts.
NOW was when he got excited. Upon landing (and stumbling several feet), a great, large grin spread across the eleven-year-old's face. HE WAS AT HOGWARTS! FINALLY!
Or...almost. But that bloke, the one with the sign talking to HIM, was going to show him Hogwarts, yeah? It seemed that way. Aidan ran up to him, grin widening all the while, if it were possible. "HI!" HE was here. He didn't care about any other First Years that had yet to arrive, or were already gathering, HE was here and he wanted to see Hogwarts NOW.
Could they go?!!

Jake groaned, hitting the ground and rolling a little to lessen the impact of the portkey. With a slight frown, he stood up. They were on a train platform. Somebody was yelling to first years to go to them. But... nobody Jake knew was a first year, so he didn't need to worry about that. Unless he counted? It was his first year...
But no. All the kids going to that man seemed to be real first years. So Jake would just stick with Anya and Penelope and James and Alice. They would show him where to go. "Is everyone okay?" Everyone seemed fine, except...
"Ali." Jake hurried over to her, kneeling on one knee and biting his lip. Her leg didn't look too good. Jake looked up at the girl that was already talking to the third year. Healer? Was there a healer around here?
He shook his head when Alice said she'd crawl. "I'll carry you," he offered/told her with a sharp nod. "You'll just... have to tell me where to go." Yeah.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Daichi.Did.Not.Like.Portkeys
It made him feel dizzy and sick from all the spinning. Honestly who had ever invented those things!?
When it had been time to let go of the hula hoop, Daichi accidentally let go of Kurumi's hand as well and before he knew it he landed , not with his feet on the ground but rather toppled over and accidentally slammed against a girl. He fell on the ground and groaned. He REALLY did not like portkeys!
Oh wait, what had he hit? He opened his eyes to see Juliet and he gasped. "I am so sorry!"
Looking up at a man who stood there with a sign, he read what was on it before looking a little further. Sure enough he saw the carriages and the black horses in front of them.
"Those horses always scare me..." the fifth year mumbled
After Nate grabbed the portkey, and came from the train he landed on the ground with a loud THUD! Soon that thud was followed by him saying "OW!" He landed with his back facing the ground. Where his head landed was a rock which most likely was the reason for him to say ow. He sat up-right, then rubbed the back of his head. Once he took away his hand from rubbing blood was smeared over it. "Oh great. Curse my luck." He whispered to himself. So far this seemed like it wouldn't end to well.

This wasn't heaven.
Because if it was, then mummy would be here, and so would daddy. But she couldn't see them here. Infact, she didn't see anyone really that she knew, but that was probably because the number of students here was increasing by the second.
O_O Someone was THERE. Oh. OH. KURUMI. Lady .. Miss Kurumi. HI. Elodie was thankful to see someone she atleast knew, and was getting some sort of attention from. Nodding her head, Elodie confirmed she was fine and then took the hand that was being offered to her. Just for comfort. She wasn't a baby, but she needed to stay with someone she knew. Or..kind of knew, but Kurumi was nice enough to help Els find her luggage earlier.
Oh, Gemini. Elodie nodded her head at that question. "Yeah, he's..he's fine. He's in my bag. I kept him safe." She hadn't actually checked on him, but that didn't matter. She'd have known if he was dead, right?

Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey...actually landed on his feet. It was a hard landing and his legs would be sore for a week no doubt, but he landed on his feet.
Something was off though, where-WHERE WAS CHARMER! Oakey was sure he was holding his black cat in his hands. He looked around frantically for his cat, but with no luck. Charmer was no where nearby!
He was going to burst out in tear for real! he lost his cat to a Portkey! That damned hula-hop killed his cat! Then a black tail fell down in front of his face! "CHARMER!" He squealed with joy as he tried to unlatch his cat from the top of his head.
It wasn't until after the stress of not being able to find his cat, that the feeling in his stomach kicked in. Uuugh, eating those cookies before portkey travel was not a good idea, even his looked slightly sick from eating his one cookie. Finding the nearest bush at Hogsmeade Station, Oakey leaned over and disposed of his cookies quickly.
Abby landed on her feet, feeling extremely nauseated. Traveling via portkeys always made her feel dizzy and now, with the bump on the side of her head, she felt like she was going to throw up any second. She's been told that the train ride would be fun but honestly, it had turned to be the worst train ride of her life. Taking a few deep breaths, she turned towards Genie and the rude little first name, who's name she still didn't know.
"You guys doing okay?" Especially the kid. She hoped they were doing better than her though. UGH. She felt horrible. Trying to distract herself from the growing nauseousness, she turned to look around the platform for a moment.

The day is somehow turning it's color. Juliet can somehow feel that breeze in the air already. They have been having quite an adventure today. The train ride cost them time then the stopping and not to mention this. Juliet is just basically ready to stuffed her face in the opening feast... and then get sorted. or was it the other way around?
Just when she was about to balance herself and trying her best to stand up because one of her knee is slightly bruised, when suddenly out of nowhere someone fell on her. Someone she obviously, could not carry. Her arms flailed as she once again fell on the ground. "ouch!" she frowned. Her knee, her bruised knee... now it's painful than ever.
Sorry.
Hearing the apology, Juliet quickly glanced to the person who slammed against her. To her surprised it's Daichi. "D-daichi" she whispered. "Are you alright?" They met over the summer, he's the Slytherin guy who had that duck plushy. Giving him a faint smile as she tried to stand up slowly. Bending once more to look at her bruised knee. Ouch that hurt.

"Hey," she replied quietly and coughed trying trying to make her voice the normal volume again, but in reality she had been shook by the incident on the train. "That looks...bad. Did you do that on the train?" She asked, looking at the girl with concern. She probably got the injury on the train, just like Bliss did.
Bliss looked down at her wrist and gave a small gasp, she could've sworn it hadn't looked that bad when she'd last looked at it. It was now large and purple, in fact it had almost double in width. "I..ermm, well..when the train stopped, I fell forward and.." She gestured to her swollen wrist. It was obvious enough, right? "I don't know what to do know though," she said and sighed. She wasn't looking forward to being stuck with a probably broken wrist for ages.
Elise closed her eyes. Don't look. Don't look. Don't look at your arm, no matter how much it hurts. Looking up at the girl, Elise nodded a little. "I fell off my chair and onto my arm. I can't move it, but it should be fine. Right?"
"Yours too?" she asked as she chanced a look there. Oh. That looked really bad. "I was actually looking for the healer or someone who'd know what to do. You can come with me if you want?" Yeah. And maybe she'd tell Elise her name. Cause reffering to her as 'the other girl' didn't really work out.

Whatever this teleportation device is, it will NOT get into Xing's list of precious stuffs. The boy rolled violently before he falls flat on his face in the ground. Good Merlin! This will take for than just a cleanser to clean his face! Xing dusts off the dirt on his shirt and pants as he gets back on his feet. Lei... Where is Lei? "LEI~!!" shouts the boy, walking around the place, neglecting his belongings as he searches for his kitten.
"L..!" Xing is about to shout again when he sees Lei lying down helplessly. He rushes towards the kitten to slowly pick him up. Oh, dear. Looks like Lei has a broken paw. He'd better take it to the healer soon. After putting Lei on his trunk, he hears a subtle sound of... Someone not feeling so good. James groaned again and nodded at Alice. "I'm....fine..." he said, trying not to breathe to hard in fear of damaging his ribs even more.
He looked up when Jake went to Alice and sighed, closing his eyes so he could block out that Alice was being attended to and he wasn't. He thought Alice was great and all, and he thought Jake was...okay, but really?
He was slightly relieved when Penelope spoke to him. "I...I think I'm...okay...my arm and....my ribs hurt, though..." he said, and, with one arm, pushed himself up so he could stand. Immediately, he teared up as his ribs got more painful, and he wrapped his uninjured arm around them. "Ughh..."
Appearing in Hogsmeade on the platform, Isaac immediately looked around for Amelia. She'd been nearby but wasn't sure if she'd grabbed the same portkey or not. He stumbled a little as he hit the ground but managed to remain upright. "AMELIA." he called out looking for her. She had to be here somewhere right?
He'd followed the directions of the headmistress who had told everyone to find a seat and taken hold of the portkey when the Recard guy had appeared. Now he just wanted to find Amelia!

Oakey stayed over by the bushes for a while. He knew he needed to get to a carriage ASAP, but wanted to make sure he was already to go.
about a moment later he felt a nice tap on the back and voice he hadn't recognized yet. "I should be used to this kind of travel." He said to the stranger beside him now. Oakey had to travel by Portkey five times now before this term began, he even landed on his feet for the first time today. "Thanks for that." Oakey spoke thankfully to the stranger, who by the looks of it was around his age.
He switched his black cat, Charmer under his arm and put his hand out to shake the strangers hand. "I'm Oakey" he said as politely as possible.

This was not good. He had had this feeling even before Kurumi had touched the portkey and dragged him with her that it would not turn out good. The fifth year rubbed his arm while looking at Juliet he had accidentally hit.
"I-i'm alright, my arm hurts a bit" he answered as he continued to hold his right wand arm with his left. "It's probably nothing, i've had worse injuries during Quidditch matches" Getting a beaters bat against your face with full force and then slam in to the wall was not really comfortable eh?
As Juliet stood up , Daichi did the same but then noticed that something was wrong with her. He too looked at her knee and he gasped. "Are you sure you are okay? here lean my on shoulder" And without waiting for an answer the Slytherin moved his head under the girls arm, to give her support.
"You want to see the healer if she comes?" Cause with so many injured students the School had to have been notified right?
While Nate was groaning in pain from his head, he didn't realize that his other arm was most likely broken. So after he was done groaning from his head then he noticed he was still in pain, but the pain wasn't from his head.......it was from his other arm. Once he went to touch it he couldn't help but wince. Then he scootched over to the rest of his luggage. H noticed that his cat was missing.
"Grrrrrrrrr. My year is not off to a good start!" He exclaimed. "Opie!? Opie!? Where are you?!" He said. He couldn't get up because of his arm was in so much pain that even when he tried he'd have to sit back down. So he tried to peer through people to see if he could find her. He heard a meow coming from inside one of his chests. He opened it to his suprise to see Opie in there. He scooped her up with one hand, and put her on his lap. "I dispise portkeys." He mumbled to himself.

Okay so the portkey thing is a bad idea, students are falling out and sort of hurting themselves arriving. To some students, they were either lucky or already good at this already. She should ask for their help perhaps, yes? Seeing as Daichi is rubbing his arm and telling her that quidditch involved more injuries than this made Juliet giggled. He had a point on there. Quidditch does involve a lot of these, falling and whatnot. "Y-you sure?" she asked him observing and checking whether or not he really is okay.
Are you sure you are okay? here lean my on shoulder.
Juliet tried to hide her left foot behind, she didn't want Daichi to worry that much. But before she could even do that, he had already seen it and immediately had her arms went around his neck and provided Juliet some support.
Blink. Blink.
At the moment, Juliet just stared at him not knowing what to do. Trying to find her voice somewhere "Uhmmmm. it's a small bruise, really" she finally spoke as her eyes flickered and glanced at the ground. It's nice how Daichi is like that. He did once proclaimed that he will be her big brother... pseudo brother that is. Juliet's head leaned over his shoulder and it stayed like that for a moment.
You want to see the healer if she comes?
"I'm sure there's not much to cure" she smiled. It is after all just a slight bruise and nothing really alarming about it "A simple charm would do" what was it again, scourgify right, no?

"Yours too?" she asked as she chanced a look there. Oh. That looked really bad. "I was actually looking for the healer or someone who'd know what to do. You can come with me if you want?" Yeah. And maybe she'd tell Elise her name. Cause referring to her as 'the other girl' didn't really work out.
Bliss looked at the other girl anxiously as appeared to be taking deep breaths..or something and avoiding looking at her arm. But Bliss couldn't stop herself and she looked at the girl's arm, which luckily didn't look too bad, there was swelling here and there and a few bruises, but other than that it seemed fine. "You sure you can't move it?" Bliss asked nervously, if the girl couldn't move it, it was likely that she'd broken it and that would be bad. "Yeah, it should," she assured the older girl and nodded.
"Yeah," she said with a sigh. If she'd had any luck at all, she'd have remained unscathed. But, she wasn't all that lucky really. "You were?" She asked. Wait, of course she was, this girl had probably broken her arm, she would clearly be wanting all the help she could get. Duhh. "Okay then," Bliss said, accepting the girls offer. It would be better to look for the healer or a teacher as a pair. Hmmm, maybe it would help if she this the girl's name, she thought. "I'm Bliss by the way," she said semi-awkwardly and gave a little cough.

A moment later, Sierra Greingoth landed on the Hogsmeade Platform. Flat on her feet, luckily, and with the portkey still in her hands. She wasn't used to traveling by portkey, though, and so she soon found herself stumbling until she actually crashed to the grounded.
UGHHHHHHH.
She scrambled back to her feet...just in time for Hissy Fit, her kneazle, to land on her back and knock her back down again. She shoved the kneazle away and stood up, glaring around the platform and daring anyone to laugh at her.
Grumbling under her breath, she scooped up the kneazle and headed for the carriages. See, this is why she should have just walked to school. She lived in Hogsmeade, after all.
As soon as the world stopped spinning, Presley let og of the Portkey and stepped away looking for someone she knew. Elliot. Presley walked over to her and bluntly asked "What the hell was that? The train doesn't just break down!" If any student knew, it would be Elliot Morganzo.
Elliot smirked at her old friend, "Hello to you too, Pres," she said with a little chuckle. "And yes, it seems so. That means the magic...something is wrong with the magic," she said with a small cough.
Weird.
"I don't get it, though..." not at all. Hmph.
Weird!

Plus, they were all okay. So, everything was good? Good. Her eyes noticed the man standing with a sign specifically asking for them, first years, and that was her cue to leave Elliot's side. But, before..., "Thanks, Elliot," she said, with a smile. Before going off to the man with the sign.
Okay. So, Lottie approached the man with the sign, and with a very serious look asked him...or rather assumed..., "I take it you're the Groundskeeper, yeah?" Still, man, no need to go and get them with a bunch of pets. Especially when other kids are bringing their own.
Mags was staying hidden, for now, for safety.
Elliot patted the girl on the back. "Good luck, Lottie. Don't fall in the lake..." she smirked...an evil glint in her eye.

Daichi began to blush as he suddenly realised he had a female leaning so close to him. His cheeks turned even redder when she leaned her head on his shoulder.
Merlin's beard! what if Indy saw this?! Oh no wait, she had a boyfriend already. So he guessed it was okay...
"I would give you help with the charm but to be honest, i'll probably blow up the whole platform if i tried..." he did not even laugh at this and actually looked very serious. He remembered the last time he tried to help and a huge hole had been on the grounds at school... And the angry Professor Bentley scolding at him O__o yup, he was not going to help with magic but the muggle way.
He looked at the carriages and with his other hand in which he still held Mr.Duckles in , he pointed to them. "Let's go to those black horses that are pulling the carriages" he said with a giggle as he just witnessed Sierra fall down two times before he saw her heading to the carriages.

AND COBBIE WAS HERE, TOO. Yay. Now, all she needed was Melanie, Landon, Anya, Frank, and her bunny teddy. She BEAMed at him when he came to sit down next to her. She had Momma Kurumi and Jake and Penelope. Twas like a family reunion. "Where did you go? Are you okay? Lots of people were hurt because of the Portkeys." They probably weren't the best idea.. but at least they had gotten the kids into Hogsmeade. Right? And then Jake and Kurumi were looking at each other funnily. Did they not know each other? Huh. Well. It probably wasn't the best time to introduce them..
What? She couldn't crawl? Hmm? Carry her?"But I'm VERY heavy. I'm a whole 68 pounds." Could he carry that much? It was a very big amount. "Well. Um. You could follow Kurumi and Nell?" ... He didn't have to carry her. She was perfectly fine with crawling. But it was a nice offer.

And.. there was another tiny person on Kurumi's other hand?! How had she not noticed? The girl looked very scared.. and shocked.. was she okay? "Of course I'm not going to die.. I think." She looked up at Jake and Kurumi. "I'm not going to die, right?" No, she wasn't going to die. Yet. "I don't think so," she told the younger girl. "I just have a broken leg. Nothing serious."Shrug."What about you? Are you alright? YOU'RE not going going to die, right?"

"Ughh...
James definitely didn't LOOK fine. He looked like he was having a fit. And he seemed upset. And then he was telling Penelope that his arm and ribs hurt? "Do you think you could have bruised your chest when you landed?" she asked uneasily. She was worried more about James than she was about herself. Honestly, she could live with a broken leg, it wasn't that bad. The pain was excruciating, but she could ignore it for a little longer if it meant that she could help James. "Maybe you should lie down.. and try not to put pressure on your chest or arm?"
HEY. It was hard to think of ideas when you had a broken leg. Alice's new excuse, everyone.
