Banner by the lovely and amazing sweetpinkpixie. A large decorative cork board is fixed to the stone wall outside Professor Bentley's office near the terrace. The noticeboard is a place where you can find information about classes, homework and any other Herbology related items. It is updated on a regular basis, so make sure you check it regularly so that you don't miss anything. | |

Herbology Lesson One
Who: All Hogwarts Students
What: Lesson One
When: Sunday 9th September @ approx 3am GMT
Where: The Greenhouses
Items to Bring: Common sense, courage, dragon hide gloves, comfortable shoes- strictly no high heels, and a smile. OOC: The lesson won't start for about 8-12 hours after the lesson thread has been posted, so everyone will have time to RP arriving to class, reacting to their surroundings and meeting Professor Bentley. The class will last up to a week. Please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations prior to attending the lesson, I will KNOW if you haven't read them. Task:
This is an on-going task for the school year.
You will be required to keep a journal/log, and record instances where you have used herbs in your daily routines.
Information you are required to record include, but are not restricted to:
[x] Plant Details - name, appearance
[x] Common Uses - in general
[x] Personal Use - how YOU used it
[x] Include reflections on the usefulness and significance of herbs
You are required to provide a minimum of two entries per calendar month.
Worth:
40 points (10 Extra Credit available for Outstanding work)

At the end of term - date will be announced closer to the time.

Herbology Homework One is due on the 29th of November at no later than 9am GMT
Herb journals will be collected promptly and additional entries or ammendments cannot be made from that point forward. OOC: As of 9am GMT on the 29th of November, the thread will be locked and marks will be tallied. Entries should start at November and finish with June. Good luck.
