The Lions sit under a bright crimson and gold banner representing their house. The candles light it up nicely in spite of the gloomy, turbulent skies above.
"ARI!!!" Lex turned to look at her friend as she plopped down next to her and in case she was wondering, yes Lex would be shouting her name every time she showed up. Why? Because she wanted to, duh.
She laughed when her friend brought up the thing about the hat. "Well after I've tasted it I'll let you know, because as of now, that hat deserves what's coming to it." She had given it a pretty decent warning to place her in Ravenclaw but it hadn't and now when she was dipping it in gravy she would bear no remorse.
Silly hat, then they said it was a smart one. Sigh.
Ariella cringed slightly as Lexa yelled her name, even though they were sitting right next to eachother, and smiled at her. She liked haveing Alexa as a friend, and Dylan too, but it was to bad she had been sorted into a different house than the two of them, "Yeah, well I'm sure it will taste delicious, maybe add a bit of salt and pepper..."
Sighing Ariella looked up and around the great hall, fascinated by the rustic castle walls the the night sky ceiling. "We finally made it to Hogwarts!" Ariella said softly out of the blue, it all felt like a dream. Everything seemed to be happening so fast, but Ari still couldn't shake the incident that had happened while they were traveling to school in the train from her head...

With a slight blush she removed his hands from her face. No squishing the new lion. Lions' faces didn't get squished, right?
She gave the boy a big hug. "I'm fine, are you alright?" Melanie asked. Because there seemed to be a looooot of hurt people... or just Queen Alice. But it was a big deal. Hearing a pop, Melanie looked around and saw... an elf?
What was an elf doing here? Melanie waved hello to the creature with a smile.

Didn't he remember? "But it's not a big deal." She had to clamp her hand over her mouth to keep herself from laughing when Landon began to squish Melanie's face.
She must have been very pleased about that, Alice thought.
After Melanie removed Landon's hands from her face, she turned her attention back to Alice. "I KNOW. It's so exciting. We're gonna be ROOMMATES." The only bad thing about that was that Melanie could dress her up. In pink stuff. And dresses. EW. She still needed to go through Melanie's trunk and hide some things.. or she would be looking like a girly-girl for the rest of the term.
Landon laughed at Melanie's expression as she called out his name while he squished her face. It was so funny and he couldn't help but laugh even more as he noticed her blushing when she pulled his hands away. "What? Do you have that heating spell on your cheeks again?" He teased, patting her cheek. He was happy that she was alright though. He was alright too, just a bit of a bump on the back of the head was all and he had gotten the breath knocked out of him when he landed after the portkey. But luckily he didn't break anything. "Yeah, I'm fine. I was just really worried about you two." He nodded.
He turned towards Alice who explained how she had gotten hurt, but he didn't remember any of that happening. "I must've bumped my head really good then, because I don't remember any of that." He shook his head. "The last thing I remembered was seeing you two, helping you out with your cut lip and then grabbing a portkey and that was that." He nodded. It was weird. 'But it's not a big deal'. His eyes widened and he shook his head. "It is a big deal, Munchkin, but I'm proud of you for being so brave." He said, reaching over and ruffling her hair. Hah.

Penelope made it to the Great Hall, having somehow been separated from those she'd ridden with in the carriage. Didn't matter though - she'd probably be able to find them once they were all in the hall at their tables. Even if there were a lot of other people there too. She just hoped the new Headmistress would be quick about giving her speech, because after all the stuff that had happened, she was hungry again. Thankfully. Because it seemed like the whole day she hadn't been hungry. SOMETHING had taken away her appetite.
But right now she didn't want to think about it as she took an empty spot at the table. Right now, she just wanted to eat and then go to her dorm and sleep.

SPOILER!!: Kurumi
Kurumi ended up blushing just a little when Tag complimented her. Even after all this time she still didn't know how to handle such things - probably never would really. "Well, I'm glad you like them," she said with an almost trademark Lockhartian wink. Thanks for rubbing off on her, Treyen. Hopefully some more of his confidence would as well. Kurumi could really use some of that right now.
Kurumi nearly snorted at the way in which Tag explained what it was like to travel by portkey, only she somehow managed to contain herself to a loud giggle instead. It was rather accurate, now that she got to thinking about it. "Tag, you know you can't actually go to any other location than the one the portkey was made for, right? They just go to one place." Letting go of a portkey could be...very bad though. "How about we save your world traveling until you can apparate?"
When Kurumi returned his small compliment he just smiled. It was nice that she took the time out of her day to consider all the other students and bake them cookies. If that had been him, he would've never thought about doing something like that. That or he would finish half the cookies before he even boarded onto the train. "They're wonderful. Again."
When he heard the disappointing news that the portkey only allowed him to travel to a certain destined location his shoulders slumped. He really wished he could explore the world, and the portkey sounded the easiest way to do this. "Awww, that's disappointing." he said with a low voice. Fine.. I guess I'll be much better use when I'm older have much more muscles. Besides, in the meantime I am the Irish Spiderman. What's that 'apparate"?" He asked with a sense of curiosity in his voice.
SPOILER!!: Fischer
Alice looked around for familiar faces once more, when she noticed a tiny blonde head bobbing by Kurumi. The boy seemed to be rather short and talking a mile a minute.. hey, wait, was that Kildare? "KILDAAARREEE." She waved one arm in the air frantically, careful to keep the other around her crutches. Where had he been the whole train ride? She hadn't seen him at all. "Kildare. Where have you been?! None of us could find you." BUT. Now she had found him. "Tag the Second is up in the Common Room. Do you want to see him after dinner?" Their furby seemed very happy to the lioness, even though she had accidentally left him on the train.
Yes, yes, she was a bad parent, we know.
He then heard his name being shouted across the hall and he spun his head this way and that way trying to find the voice. Until he saw it. A girl, almost as short as him, with crutches. "Hey Fischer!" Tag said happily as he gave her a careful one armed hug, making sure he wouldn't trip on her and then have her crashing to the floor with her crutches. "What do you mean? I've been here this whole time. Eating this cookie." He casually answered her as he lifted the cookie once again to show her it.
Oddly enough, he was relieved to hear that Tag the Second, the yellow furby he had given her earlier was safe. After that odd train ride, ridicoulously enough, that was the first thing that jumped into his mind."Of course I want to see him! I wanna make sure he's safe and not damaged."
"Umm.. What happened to you?" He further asked as he pointed at the crutches. A bit late. That should've been his first words for her.
Alice smiled when Landon appeared as well. He AND Melanie were Gryffindors? Oh, yes. There was going to be a party in the Common Room tonight. "DONNIE! You're a lion!" YAY. It really was a good day. Melanie wondered if they should all sit down... because Alice did have a broken leg and all but was distracted as Queen Alice briefly recounted what had happened - something she didn't want to think about. Broken legs were definitely not high on Melanie's list of things she liked. And when the younger Gryffindor said that it wasn't a big deal, Melanie wanted to say something yet again about how it was a big deal. A very big deal. Luckily, Landon felt the same way about it.
Right, roommates! "Exactly, it'll be like a sleepover every day!" Melanie said with a grin. And Melanie loved sleepovers.
Hey. Why was Landon patting her cheek? Her face turned slightly redder. He wasn't supposed to do that! "Yup, heating spell," Melanie said, nodding and sticking with her story from last time. Definitely a heating spell thing. Because it was warm. Yup. It was summer... kinda... so it was all because of that.
"Let's sit down? Queen Alice shouldn't just stand on crutches, it'll get tiring," Melanie pointed out.
And she didn't want the girl to topple over either.

"Umm.. What happened to you?" He further asked as he pointed at the crutches. A bit late. That should've been his first words for her.
Ah there was more familiar Gryffindors joining them. Gideon smiled at the two younger lions as first Penelope and then Tag joined the fray. "Hey guys," he greeted them both though the boy seemed to have already caught the attention of one of his friends from another table...one on crutches and new ones at that. Must have had a spill worse then the rest of them from the train and portkey.
Turning his attention to Penelope fully, the prefect figured he could talk to her on her own. His head tipping politely to the house elf. "So....welcome back. Have a nice summer?"
Sarah looked at her younger friend with concern [B
"I am glad you are doing better[/B]" she said. "I got away with a few scrapes and bruises, yet I cleaned them up fairly quickly." Wombats were adorable? Sarah liked animals best when they were babies... "I don't think they do, or if they did - would they tell us? If it was a muggle world, I would say the train broke down, yet the train is probably magical, so maybe it is some sort of magic that is interfering with it" Dark magic -yet she did not want o frighten the younger girl.
by now her cookie was finished and she wanted another, yet she was too scared to ask
[QUOTE=sweetpinkpixie;11185657]Cheeks rising in color once again, Kurumi bowed her head in appreciation before answering her question. "Every opening an closing feast," she nodded. These particular cookies that is. These were special Gryffindor crest cookies that were only made for feasts. "Besides the common room and the library, the Hogwarts kitchens are where I spend a lot of my time." The house elves were always very accommodating. In fact, Kurumi needed to make a quick stop there after the feast to say hello to Nimma and the others.
"Annie, nice to meet you too," Kurumi replied. "How was your sorting?" Kurumi had only been able to hear the hat declare her a Gryffindor - which was hard to miss considering how loud that hat could be.
"That's good then... A couple of people broke a few bones apparently..." she said slightly sad at the end. She hated it when anyone get hurt, whether it be an animal like her poor cat or someone that she barely knew, let alone someone she was good friends with!!!
"Dark magic?" she asked wide eyed in barely a whisper, sort of intrigued by the entire concept yet realizing that she was probably too naïve in this case!
Turning to Kurumi she grinned. "That's so cool! Plus they float and they are sooo yummy!" she continued ranting about the cookies. "You spend a lot of time in the kitchens? Thats pretty cool... so we're allowed to use it then?" she asked, despite almost knowing, afterall why would the prefect break the rules and if it was known so openly how could she get away with it? "do you think you could teach me how to bake like this?" she asked with her puppy dog eyes. Her mother never bothered teaching the young girl how to cook or bake though she might've helped the maid... Twice, and she'd always enjoyed it!
Blushing slightly when her sorting was mentioned she looked down for a moment before smiling cheekily. "It was good... But I dont think the hat liked it when I questioned if it even worjed because it was silent at the beginning" she said with a giggle.
Penelope, Alice, Tag, and whoever is around them. ^__^
Sardines ♥ // Nomsy, yo
A grin was still stuck on Jake's face as he reached the Gryffindor table. He had been searching for the others since he'd entered the hall, and now that he was in their house he thought it would be easier to find them. So, after walking very slowly down most of the table, he finally saw some familiar faces.
"Hey," he said brightly to Alice and Penelope casually ignoring Tag for the time being. "I'm in Gryffindor!!" In case they missed the sorting. Who knew if they had been paying attention.
After turning away from Landon and Melanie, she noticed another person nearby. He was staring at an empty platter of food rather longingly. hmph. He seemed a little lonely to Alice, so she hobbled over to him on her crutches. "HI PERSON," she said, staring at the empty plate in front of him. "Y'know, food isn't going to appear until headmaster Redhead gives her speech." Yikes. She already knew that this Headmaster was going to be a handful. She could tell by the yelling on the train. But maybe that was just because ti was rather chaotic? "Did you see her on the train? She kind of scared me. I think she's going to be a big change from Tatertot."
She just hoped this headmaster could be nickname after food as well.
Thomas was sitting there feeling like an outsider, wishing he had made an effort to make more friends when he was here before. But he struggled in social situations like these. These kids. These posh kids. These well spoken, well educated kids.. they seemed like polar opposites of himself. They all had their little groups already. Who was he to intrude?
But just as that little negative voice started niggling away at his thoughts, making him feel inferior, a younger girl started talking to him.
Hi... person?
He frowned slightly, but was relieved that someone was at least making conversation. “Hi.” He replied, completely failing with the etiquette of introducing himself in that opportune moment. He eyed her crutches and gestured for her to sit at the empty spot beside him. “You arigh'?” He enquired. And then rather nosily added, “What 'appened to yer leg?”
He nodded his head, looking from his empty, sad looking plate, back to the Gryffindor girl, his eyes as sad as the plate. He just wanted to EAT! Who cared about speeches when you were HUNGRY? “I know tha'. I ain' been 'ere for a year buh it don't look like much has changed.” He replied in his broad London accent.
Headmaster Redhead? She? What had happened to the old one? Headmaster Tate? He glanced over at the staff table. No, he hadn't seen her on the train. “Nahh..” He replied with a shrug. “ I fink I must've slept mostah the way 'ere.”
“..Tate was cool.” He commented as an after thought, but what the girl was saying grabbed his interest. He sat forward a little and looked intently her. “..In what way did she scare you?” He asked interested. Was she like Professor Lafay? Because that woman was really scary. Her teaching methods were like something from the dark ages and Thomas struggled in her classes when it came to the note taking. Something that had not gone unnoticed by the professor.
“Do y'know what happened to Tate?” The lad asked, his stomach rumbling again. Blaady 'ell, 'e was STARVIN'!
Tay nodded, "I want that too." She sighed, happily, "I think I might just have it..." She blushed and smiled.
Tay rubbed her neck, "Yeah I wonder too..." She sighed and grimaced.
Maxwell nodded. "I think you do too...Hold onto him, if you do have it don't ever let him go..or forget how lucky you are.." He said knowing he had it and let it slip away..
Dylan was finally sorted and sat at the table of his new house, he was actually glad that he had been sorted into Gryffindor. He had wanted to be either here or in Ravenclaw, now he just couldn't wait to start the classes and wave that wand around. Finally he was here at school and ready to start the classes that he had heard about from the magical side of his family.

She rushed up behind him and draped her arms across his shoulders giving him a bit of a hug. "Congratulations, Lion." she said happily.
SQUEE! Jake was a Gryffindor!

Penelope hadn't paid much attention to the Sorting, honestly. She just...wasn't completely sure how she wanted some people to be Sorted, so it seemed best not to pay attention. If she didn't watch, she wouldn't care as much.
And this was why.
Had this been a few weeks ago, Penelope would've been extremely happy that Jake was a Gryffindor. On some level, she still was. Because it was nice having more friends in her house. But that was also the problem. They were just friends, and now she had to deal even more with seeing him be more than friends with one of HER friends. And that wasn't something she could be happy about.
So she gave a half-hearted, "That's cool," to Jake, averted her eyes elsewhere when Anya suddenly appeared and clung to him, waved back at Anya when she finally acknowledged her, and prayed the speech would happen soon so she could have food to distract her from everything else.

Laura was walking around looking for her Bestie Anya, she hadn't seen her since the sleepover at her house and she had heard rumours that she had a boyfriend and if that was the case, she wanted to know why her bestie hadn't told her anything.
Laura looked around and suddenly saw her. "Anya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Laura really couldn't believe it had been sooooooooooooooo long since she had seen her friend. "TELL ME NOW!!" Laura stamped her foot and folded her arms. "IS IT TRUE YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!" Yeah Laura wasn't going to be happy until she knew.

The bloody thing probably broke her wrist for all she knew...though she would never admit that to anyone. The last thing she needed was people pointing their wands at her trying to make it better and she definitely didn't want to go looking for the healer when there was a whole feast set up.
"Do you know what happened to all the luggage...and the pets?" She needed to know that Felix was alright.
Sarah was shocked about the severity of the injuries. "Oh dear! I hope you were not injured greatly. This portkey journey may not have been good for you, Yet do not say that you never want to go on a portkey, that will be cutting off a lot of experiences for you. Portkeys take you to places that you never imagined going. Last year in History of Magic we took a Portkey to the city of Atlantis. People use portkeys to get to the quidditch world cup." Sarah told the girl.
"I know as much as you about our things, I assume the Ministry, BoG or school will be taking care of it. Hopefully they will feed our pets tonight though" she thought sadly of Angelina and her companions back on the train, wondering where the students were.
"Nah, nothing too bad." She lied. Really her wrist had started throbbing but she was pretty sure that it would stop soon so there was no need to bring it to anyone's attention. All she did was land badly on it, other's had it much worse!
"Hmmm...well I suppose that does sound cool. What was it like--the city I mean? Is it really under water or is that just a rumour started by some stupid muggle?" Muggles seemed to like making up things and they were hardly ever accurate with their guesses.
Oh so this girl didn't know either. "Awww, then I guess we'll just hope fort he best." She sighed. "I just hope that Felix doesn't hurt himself, trying to eat someone else's pet." Hopefully the other pets stayed still so he wouldn't have a chance to get hurt...

"Hey that's a pretty good idea! Remind me to take some salt and pepper shakers with me. The hat's gonna be pretty sorry when I'm threw with it." She said going into deep thought. What else could she have put on the hat? She was already going to use gravy and in fact she might have even gotten an older kid to bring in a whole pot of gravy to let the hat go for a little swim. She liked the thought of that.
But then Ari got all weird and distance looking in the eyes. She raised a puzzled eyebrow at her but that quickly shifted as she understood why her friend had gotten that way. Lex smiled. "Yup, we made it. Not even a broken down train could stop us!" Which was a relief because she could have seen herself getting into more trouble if they were still stuck somewhere in the country on the train tracks. She wouldn't have been very well behaved at all...

Anya nearly let out an unearthly squeal when the sorting hat announced that Jake was going to be in Gryffindor. This was great news! Really, really great news. They could hang out ALL the time now.
She rushed up behind him and draped her arms across his shoulders giving him a bit of a hug. "Congratulations, Lion." she said happily.
SQUEE! Jake was a Gryffindor!
She helped herself to the seat next to him. "Hey." she said nodding to both Tag and Alice. "Penne. Hey!" she added spotting Penelope. She gave the younger girl a little wave.
Squee! Had she mentioned how excited she was yet?

Feeling and seeing arms around him, Jake grinned. He knew who that was even before she said anything. Because, really... he didn't know anybody else well enough to have them walk up behind him and hug him. Penelope and Alice were both sitting right there.
"Hey, Anya," he grinned, turning toward her as she sat down next to him. "I'm a Gryffindor!" She already knew that, but he just had to say it again. For the 29502395th time. "Just like you. How great is that?!"
...Clearly not that great, according to some people.
Jake's grin instantly disappeared, and he looked over at Penelope. "Thanks for the enthusiasm, Penny." Yeah, he could practically feel her excitement.
He was excited, at least.
Oh. And... "Looks like we'll share a dormitory, eh, Tag?"
Kurumi laughed softly. "Neither am I. No matter how many times I've traveled it I never land on my feet." Then again, Kurumi actually DID prefer nonmagical transportation to wizarding. Brooms were terrifying. Floo was somewhat creepy. Apparition seemed frightening yet essential. "Well, I hope it is a great term, for everyone."
Especially since this would be her last one.
It was the familiar POP! that had caught the seventh year's attention and her head snapped around half expecting to see Nimma but instead a different familiar pair of ears was there. "Evening Algamus," Kurumi smiled, bowing her head to the house elf as he waddled around.
Algamus liked the red and gold prefectsie, he did, he did. She was kind and polite and even bowed her head at a little grubby house elf like himself. "Good evening, Prefectsie. The prefectsie's badge looks as shiny as ever," he nodded, his big eyes lowering to it for a moment.

Algamus appeared at the Gryffindor table to see the studentsies from the house of red and gold chatting and blabbering on. Blah, blah, blah. He waddled along, and oh! There was the prefectsie with the shiny badge. Yes, that one had that badge for a looooooong time, she did. And she kept it nice and shiny. He waddled along further and inspected the new studensties. And the oldies, too, mhmmmm.
There was a house elf at the Lion's table this year too. She wondered if it were tradition or something, yet she had to thank it. "Hi! Nice to see you! Thank you for keeping Hogwarts so nice and clean" Sarah said to the little thing.
Well, these lions were growing on Algamus. Yesm, they were. This one complimented his superior cleaning skills, and that was a compliment that Algamus liked to hear. He nodded his little ol' head and plucked a piece of lint off the girl's robes. "Algamus takes pride in his work, studentsie, yes he does."

Wait....
Lex was now very suspicious....if the Kurumi girl was in this house...then...then what house was scary bat girl in?! Merlin she didn't know how she would handle it if they were both in this house! She could just see it. Being chased around the common room with the girl holding some intimidating weapon. There would be no escape.
O_____O
Eeep.
Oh but then Kurumi told her that there would be more cookies during the term. Okay, she was happy again and all was forgiven for this one. "Really? Wow...I'm really gonna like this house!" Minus, scary bat-girl of course. "Did you make these?"
Lex turned to a girl that had said hi to her and flashed her a wide smile. "Hello! And what's your name?" See it was good meeting people and even better knowing there names so they wouldn't be pointless passer-bys!
"Ohhhh...so then you two aren't in the same house?" Now there was a shock for her. She'd think that people who seemed so inseparable would have landed in the same house in the first place but apparently not! "And who's your brother?" who was in Gryffindor and perfectly fair game for her to bug sometime. "Oh and thanks...just wished I had gotten Ravenclaw thought because now I have to eat the sorting hat."
Peeping around Taylor she say something that made her face light up! She flew up from her seat immediately and tip-toed quickly over to the little house elf that was going around looking at everyone.
Closer....closer...
Tackle.
"Hi there little guy!" She said after trying to tackle the little cutie to the floor. "Watch'ya lookin' fooooor?" she asked curiously.
Algamus was strolling along further. Just stroooollllling, and then..
"AH-AHHHHHH!" He yelped, as he was suddenly tackled to the floor by SOMETHING/ONE.
A girl's voice tickled his ear. Little guy?! HMMPH. "Algamus is a whole two centimeters taller than his father, studentsie." Yesm, he was. What was he looking for? "Messes, studentsie," he answered with a nod. And juicy Hogwarts gossip, maybe. Maaaaaybe.

She smoothed her hair out and beamed at the Gryffindor. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, sticking her hand out. "I don't think we formally met, I'm Melanie." Because introductions were important. Especially since this girl had a shiny badge. Her mom had told her that too - to respect those who were older and in positions of power, like this girl.
Was Melanie a Gryffindor? She supposed what Kurumi said had basically answered the blonde's question. "I'm a Gryffindor~" Melanie said in a sing song sort of voice, giggling when Alice said that they'd live together. More time for Melanie to put Alice in some pretty dresses. She wondered if Miss Shiny Badge would like to help. Couldn't she make some rule or something that Alice had to wear a dress once a week or something? She relaxed, taking in a deep breath then letting it out, smiling at the younger girl. It was definitely good that Queen Alice was alright. "The hat just... sad some things and put me here," Melanie said shrugging her shoulders.
Was the hat supposed to say something in particular? She wasn't sure.
There was another girl (Dan and Emma<3) there too. Melanie looked at the other girl, who she assumed was a Gryffindor because she was at the Gryffindor table and smiled. "Hello," she greeted politely before Landon came over.
She had totally lost him after the portkey. Before she could say anything though, Melanie's face was being squished. Ahhhh. Why did he do that? "Laaanndddooooooooooooooooooonnnn," Melanie said as her cheeks were squished to look like a fish. He had done that last time too. Was her face really that... squish-able? With a slight blush she removed his hands from her face. No squishing the new lion. Lions' faces didn't get squished, right?
She gave the boy a big hug. "I'm fine, are you alright?" Melanie asked. Because there seemed to be a looooot of hurt people... or just Queen Alice. But it was a big deal. Hearing a pop, Melanie looked around and saw... an elf?
What was an elf doing here? Melanie waved hello to the creature with a smile.
Smiles and waves, smiles and hellos. Gryffindor and Slytherin were rivals, yesm, they were. But Algamus thought Gryffindor to house better studentsies. Yesm, indeed. Algamus opened and closed his fingers in a wave at the girl.

But look! There was a house elf! It wasn't the little one from the start of term feast last term, but it was still a house elf, so it was cool. Penelope liked them. "Hi there," she said, managing a small smile.
As Algamus was ambling along, another student graced him with a greeting. "Hello, studentsie," he greeted in return. His brow suddenly wrinkled, though, when he spotted the empty table in front of her. "Does the studentsie not like the food?" He asked, his head tilting to the side as he peered up at her. He hoped she liked the food. Algamus and friends took a long time to make the food..
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Lex was a bit shocked when the elf suddenly screamed out but she didn't dwell on this for too long. See, if he hadn't screamed then she would have been worried; might even have thought that she did in the poor little guy.
She giggled at his little statement about his height then got up so he could get up too. "Yeahhhhhh, that might be true but I'm still taller than you making you a little guy!" She said, flashing him a smile before clinging to his clothes so he couldn't walk away just yet.
"Oooo messes!! But..." She looked around, her grip tightening on the elf, "The feast hasn't started yet so there are no messes." Wouldn't' he be just so happy to hear that? Now he could relax for a minute and that being the case....her smile widened. "So will you play with me?"

James was thankful his legs were okay and that he was wearing a sweater. He had taken his sweater off and made a makeshift slig, something his cousin Adrianna had taught him.
The boy, who had been sorted into Slytherin, decided to drag himself to the Gryffindor table, seeing as that's where his friends had all gathered. It still ached horribly to breathe, but at least he could eat. Or would that be painful too?
He was able to sit across from Alice and smiled at them all. "Hey, guys...." he said quietly. "Am I the only Slytherin in the group...?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. Because it seemed so.
"Oh I bet that I would be a Ravenclaw and if I won then Ms. Lainey would eat elf food but if I lost then I'd have to eat the sorting hat." She explained. There, it didn't sound nearly as bad as it did in her head!
Tay sighed and shook her head, "Wow... I dont know about you... but Ravenclaw is the best house ever so i cant blame you." She giggled and smiled.

Harvey walked upto the gryffindor table to see if he could see anyone he knew that he needed to say Hi to.. but he couldnt see anyone just yet. This felt strange going around to the tables looking for people.. usually he went to just one table and everyone would be there. He looked over at the hufflepuff table to see if he could see Justin or Ella or anyone else he knew.. but no-one seemed to be there.. where was everyone? if he could spot someone then that would give him the reason he needed to go there but no-one was there right now.
