Hufflepuff VS Ravenclaw
It was finally spring. SPRING, SPRING look at all the little birds and blooming flowers!
Professor Elwood had the windows of the small building the Gobstones matches were hosted in wide open letting the air and occasional insect to creep in and make the room much more enjoyable. The room was still set up the same as usual but today's match was a special one because it was the last one of the term and would, despite the rule change on how a house earned points, would determine the term's winner of the Gobstones Cup! "Good afternoon everybody! Welcome to the last match of the season between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. It's good to see you all here and ready to go. Everyone play your best and let's have some fun, shall we?" The blonde clapped her hands together and then jogged over to the officiator's spot, the jingling of her bangles filling the room. "And just to make sure you all have read and taken the new gobstones game rules into consideration before showing up today? Cheating or horse-play won't be tolerated so don't try it. Good luck!" The two teams picked shooters for the next round, Vickers took the blue shooter for Ravenclaw and Alec Summers took the yellow shooter after Mr Kitridge was certain both players ready he gave the all clear signal.
The two students glanced at each other and then at their teammates. They both shot and their marbles both rolled with good towards the Jack but it was the blue stone that managed to tap the Jack stone first even if the yellow stone gave it a hard fought a match for it.
"Point goes to Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw now leads by 13 points."

Leobald watched as the blue marble shot out of Vickers Vanderbilt's hand for the last shot of the game and he was against Sophie Campbell.
The two marbles had shot out into the playing field and the yellow stopped near the Jack but the blue stopped closest.
Mr Kitridge looked at each bench of kids to clap his hands to get attention and to end the match. "The match is over and Ravenclaw is the winner!"
"We have a player of the match and today's player of the match is Vincenzo Vanderbilt! He will be awarded 10 points for his spectacular effort." He clapped for him as he awarded Vickers with his plaque. Now they were all dismissed.
And.....GO!
