Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw

More and more snow continued to fall much like every year in the highlands during the winter. The students had already returned from their Holiday Break and were settling back into the swing of things and obviously excited for their first Gobstones match of the new year!

After the red and blue robe-clad students arrived the Divination Professor made her way to the center of the playing 'feild' and spoke to those assembled. "Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the fourth match of the Gobstones Club season between the Lions of Gryffindor and the Eagles of Ravenclaw." She raised a hand to gesture at each team as she said their names.

"By now I expect that you've all taken the time to read the new rules. Cheating or horesplay won't be tolerated so don't try it. Good luck!"

Callie watched as the blue marble shot out of Maximus James's hand for the last shot of the game and he was against Kurumi Hollingberry once more. It was like it was destiny or something.

The two marbles had shot out into the playing field and the red stopped near the Jack but the blue stopped a half an inch closer. It was a tie.

IT WAS A TIE.

Professor Elwood looked at each bench of kids to see if they were seeing the same thing she was and after composing herself she spoke up to deliver the news. "Well it seems we have a tie ladies and gentlemen. And we will just leave things at that. 24 points will be awarded to both houses and added to your house totals." Just like a muggle soccer match, ties could happen.

"But we do still have a player of the match and today's player of the match is Maximus James! He will be awarded 10 points for his spectacular effort." She clapped for him as she awarded him his plaque. Now they were all dismissed.

And.....GO!
