Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw
More and more snow continued to fall much like every year in the highlands during the winter. The students had already returned from their Holiday Break and were settling back into the swing of things and obviously excited for their first Gobstones match of the new year!
After the red and blue robe-clad students arrived the Divination Professor made her way to the center of the playing 'feild' and spoke to those assembled. "Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the fourth match of the Gobstones Club season between the Lions of Gryffindor and the Eagles of Ravenclaw." She raised a hand to gesture at each team as she said their names. "By now I expect that you've all taken the time to read the new rules. Cheating or horesplay won't be tolerated so don't try it. Professor Elwood gave each team their respectively colored stones and stood back, allowing the players to get into tossing position. She waiting a few seconds before giving each group of students the go ahead to start shooting!

Not but a few seconds after Professor Elwood had handed the marbles to the players had they already chosen their first shooters and were off. Vickers Vanderbilt for the Claws shot his shooter at the Jack Stone before Gryffindor was ready but the hasty shot went off much further than planned. Ira Wilson, fourth year Lion, steadily aimed her shooter and hit it with just enough force to watch it stop in the optimal spot beside the Jack Stone!
"First two points are awarded to Gryffindor! Next shooters, please!" The Divination Professor added the points to the scoreboard.

The next group of shooters to approach the playing feild and take up their shooters were Gryffindor first year Alexa Cambridge against seventh year Ravenclaw Maximus James; it was like David and Goliath, this match up. But unlike Quidditch, Gobstones isn;t swayed so easily based on size and strength so the little Lion wasn't at a loss.
The red and blue marbles shot out into the circle with the red ending up closer and the blue shooting blue goo towards the Claws. "Points to Gryffindor!"

Gryffiddr Ira Wilson aimed her shot and it went right out of the playing ring; the girl must have slipped when she was shooting. When the Ravenclaw fourth year, Elise Fairfield stepped up to shoot she was aiming the same way Ira had been but one of her teammates, Maximus James, stepped up and reangled her shot, winning them the point.
"Point to Ravenclaw, good teamwork!" Professor Elwood congradualted them before adding the point to the scoreboard.
(Answer: Thunderstones. Note: good answers from the other players but thunderstones was found in an SS lesson and what I had in mind.)
