GRYFFINDOR VS HUFFLEPUFF
It was to a glorious October day that Mr Kitridge walked out with two bags of stones under his arms. The leaves were slowly starting to change colour the weather became as the days went by more unpredictable with showers.
Gobstones was luckily though held in a building so if it started to rain atleast the match wouldn't be affected. Coming into match building Mr Kitridge surveyed the course with a keen eye. It looked to be in prime condition and ready for action he noted with satisfaction.
Dropping the heavy bags of stones one the sideline; one filled with yellow stones and the other filled with red stones as he waited for the two houses. When the two houses were assembled in front of him he adressed them. "I hope you've taken time to read the new rules. Cheating or horesplay won't be tolerated. Good luck!" The match got off to a flying start as Alec Summers and Ira Wilson manned the their house stones. The stones rolled off towards the center with as it looked a good direction towards the jack. The yelllow stone was too eager and tried to tackle the red stone off the court. The offensive move didn't pay off the yellow stone ended up rolling off the court instead. First point goes to Gryffindor!

Angel Wyatt took over possession of the red stones whereas the badgers switched in Alyssa Potter. The stones rolled off down the court towards the Jack. Suddenly without any visible reason the red stone just stopped rolling mid court no matter how much the lions cheered on it. With the red stone halted the yellow had a clear path to Jack stone and stopped inches from it. The point goes to Hufflepuff.

Alec Summers reclaimed the yellow stones and Ira wilson did the same with the red stones. The stones rolled down the court neck and neck. It was a tight roll the whole way up to the Jack. In the end though the yellow stone had managed to stop closest to the center stone. The point goes to Hufflepuff.

For the next roll prefect Kurumi Hollingberry took over the stones. The seventh year must have gotten an urge to play. Mr Kitridge looked over at the badger team wondering who'd be daring enough to take up the challenge. The red stone rolled down the court, still no yellow stone roller in sight the badgers seemed to still be discussing who's turn it was to roll. It ended with Gryffindor winning the point.

They two rolled their stones and at first it looked like Melanie was going to with the point for Gryffindor as the red stone speeded ahead but the yellow stone had more precision and thus stopped closest to the Jack.
