The winter weather left the arena chillier than usual, but by now you should know you'll warm up soon enough. Having been busy setting up certain things, Professor Romanos didn't quite have time to think of the effects of cold weather. With the morning sun shining brightly through the large windows, she had set up a table near the stands where a good number of cups were placed neatly on top, covering every inch of it. What those cups held would be explained shortly, but there was indeed some type of liquid in it. If you snuck a peak, water would definitely be crossed off your list of ideas.
The professor herself was sitting on the lowest part of one of the stands next to two medium sized boxes, both closed, ready to greet the students who came in. More than likely, they'd be explained shortly along with the cups. If the sight of these new objects make you feel uncomfortable in any way, than perhaps the absence of the purple mats would put your mind at ease.
Do come in and take a seat, whether that be on the cold stone floor or in the stands, or stay standing if you so wish. The lesson will begin soon as usual.
OOC: Class has started. If you're just joining us, post your character as if they've been here the entire time, ______or they may just face a little consequence.
Ethan slowly lifted his eyes to the ceiling and he frowned. So the purple mats weren't gone after all.. just moved. And now they were to use them up there? Brooms were his obvious answer, but as he heard someone else offer that, he didn't feel the need to echo. He shook his head inconspicuously at some of the other answers. Ethan would not be allowing someone to levitate him up there.. just who knew how well that person would be at spellwork? He did not need to come crashing to the ground just because someone else was shaky with a wand.
Ethan eyed Romanos suspiciously. Sticky gloves and shoes? But he took her word for it that they were strong enough.. and besides, it sounded really cool! He made his way over to the boxes and glanced curiously at the strange little bug that came scurrying out of one of them. Shrugging lightly he pulled on a pair of gloves and shoes, then grabbed one of the cups from the table. He eyed it gingerly.. the liquid did not look pleasant and he held his nose before taking a swig.

Nigel was amazed that he did not look up and see all the mats on the ceiling. Now that is a good hiding place. Nigel would have to remember that one once he got better at spells. Nigel first guess was the levitate us up to the mats. But he stayed quiet and stilled to everybody else answer.
That real answer was even better. Nigel would love to feel like spider-man. Nigel quickly picked up a pair of gloves and shoes. Once those were on. He picked up a cup of the mystery drink and drank it down not caring how it tastes. He wanted to feel like a super-hero.

Maxwell was delighted to be doing something in this class that wasn't yoga, in fact it seemed quite fun. Maybe some little part of him was all excited to have a little Spider-Man moment...he knew it was dorky so he kept it to himself. Walking over and removing his own shoes, he put on the shoes and gloves, fitting perfectly, drinking the potion and waiting for further instruction...He caught a glimpse of his girlfriend and her cute little smirk, so he sent one right back. He knew she wouldn't go up with the class, but he wondered what she'd think of him doing so, there was no way he couldn't it was too awesome.

There was a moments pause where she stared at the students, and then looked up to the ceiling where every mat was accounted for, quite stuck. "They're a bit out of our reach. I'm sure our lovely polgergeist had something to do with this, but, instead of taking them down...I thought of something better we can do." Looking back down to the class, Medea grinned.
"If you're afraid of heights, you may stay on the ground, though I assure you, every precaution has been taken into mind for this. So, does anyone have any ideas on how we..." She gestured to them all before pointing to the ceiling. "...are able to get up there?"[/color]
Ella's eyes followed the Professor's, growing wide when they spotted the purple mats that were now stuck to the ceiling. O__O Merlin's beard! That was...kind of funny, actually. And meep! They had been saved from the boat pose due to this trick so that was kind of awesome. Also awesome, the fact that Profressor Romanos wasn't even mad about it! That was quite cool of her. Ella smiled, eager to know why she left them up on the ceiling like that.
Wait...they were going up there to get the mats? WOW! Ella immediately knew how she would go about the task, hand raised. "Professor, we can use our brooms!" Beam! Ella loved to fly so any excuse to get up in the air was really exciting.

There is no problem with having your character stay on the ground as well. It's up to them after all!
We'll continue sometime around 7pm EST tomorrow.
Blink. Blink.THEY WERE GOING TO LIKE...WALK UP ON THE CEILING? HOLY AWESOME, BATMAN! That was just...the absolute coolest! And meep! They were totally going to be just like Spiderman up there! Grin. She knew several friends who would be really excited about this!
Did Ella want to go up with the other students? DUH! She hurried over and picked herself a pair of shoves and gloves, bringing them back to her spot and sitting down. She laced up the shoes quickly and then placed her gloves on her hands, smiling excitedly. Oh! And the potion! Ella walked over and grabbed one of the cups, drinking it down in one gulp. Bounce. Bounce. Blink. Time to be Spiderman?

Vivi was at odds with herself. On the one hand, she was disappointed that the yoga mats were present and that they were making every effort to use them. On the other hand, she'd never hung upside from from the ceiling before.
New experiences always won out.
She followed Vick to the box of gloves and shoes and lingered there, thoughtfully pulling on each as she eyed the ceiling far above them. The gloves shrunk to fit her hands quite nicely, and she again reminded herself to reapply a similar charm to her Herbology gloves. There was really no reason to wear ill-fitting apparel when one was a witch.
Next the potion, which Vivi didn't even bother sniffing. She plugged her nose and lifted the glass with the other hand. "Here's to... doing something new every day," she suggested to anyone nearby pulling faces over their drink... including Vickers and his particularly telling face. Thus the plugged nose. She downed the contents in two great gulps. Ick.
"Good morning, Miss Somerland." Medea smiled at the Slytherin girl.
The professor smiled in return. "Hello, Miss Lockwood."
Oh, someone was in a good mood today. "Good morning, Miss Greingoth." Medea greeted kindly before glancing to her watch. A few more minutes and they should probably get started.
"I'm doing fine, thank you." she replied, though still...curious to know what the Hufflepuff had been doing. Running?
"Oh yes, it's a good thing you are here. Vouldn't vont to miss today." Because it was an extra special day for...reasons.
Looking up, she almost didn't see the Ravenclaw boy come in, his greeting surprising her for a moment. "Good day, Mister McCarthy."
Seemed the final students were making their appearance. "Hello, Miss Delaine." A glance at her watch told her it was time to start the lesson...
...Though as she stood up, the last few students made their way inside. She smiled and nodded to each before her gaze settled on the young Gryffindor asking about the drinks. Now there would have been an idea she would have to save for later when those had Charms with Sophia after her class.
Nothing like giving the charms professor a bunch of students hyped up on sugar.
"Not exactly, Miss Cambridge." Medea chuckled softly, accent gone, as she stood in front of the stands where students from either section, and those standing or sitting on the cold floor, could see her. Angelina raised her eye brows and her hand. She took a guess from the first thing that came to her mind. "We can get up there from flying on brooms," she called out.

When professor opened up the box that held a spider, Angelina was bit taken back, but after a while got used to the eight legged creature. Once the spider moved out of the box Angelina spotted gloves and shoes. She looked up at the professor in wonder what they would be used for.
So they were going up? And the shoes and gloves were for sticking to the walls. Angelina always wanted to do that! When the professor was done talking, Angelina headed over to grab a random pair of shoes and gloves. The shoes were too big and the gloves were too small, but no worries they would grow to her size soon.
She headed over to a cup at the table. Grabbing one she drink it and was ready to go, that was until professor said it was alright.

Awar grimaced a little when the professor's pet thing came out. When she realized it was mechanical, she calmed down. She absolutely hated real spiders. She took off her shoes and pulled on the shoes provided. They were funny looking. She grabbed the gloves and put them on and then completed the transformation by drinking the potion.
Off to the ceiling!!

Belle wanted some adventure after all. She heard the professor saying there was a drink involved and if the professor used it before it was safe with Belle. Belle took her pair of gloves and put them both on. She was right they did fit perfectly!
Belle then took off her gloves and put the cup in her hand. She gulped it with one hand on her nose incase it tasted bad. Belle was ready. This was going to be fun. She was excited to go up on the walls.

A combination of Spike's and Dylan's tarantula's names!
Hmmm?
Looking towards Beatrice, the professor was a bit surprised that the ravenclaw was so surprised. Perhaps she hadn't seen the spider in her lesson from last term before. "I don't believe so." she chuckled lightly, glancing to the spider making circles around the boxes.
Well...not that she knew of at least.

Placing her empty cup down to the side, Medea looked over to the Gryffindor prefect. Oh, had Kurumi misunderstood her? "A figure of speech, Miss Hollingberry." she grinned. "You won't actually turn into a tomato."

Picking out a pair of shoes and gloves herself, Medea sat on the lower part of the stands again to put them on, flexing her fingers and toes afterward. "About..." she nodded her head from side to side as she stood up, looking around for who had asked. Ah, Daichi. "An hour and a half to two. Ve'll haff plenty of time."

After recovering the slytherin reached for a pair of gloves and shoes and leaned on the closest wall to put them on. Once settled she straightened and eyed that mats above. Coming right now. Then another thing came across her mind. If they walked upside down they wouldn't be affected by gravity. And she had once heard that that would help getting taller just like sleeping. She shot her hand into the air excitedly and spoke." Professor!" Too enthusiastically? Well that was to draw the woman's attention. "When we're up there. We won't be under the gravity's force right?" Not waiting to hear the answer she went on."Could I get taller while I'm up there!?" She asked hopefully her eyes glimmering with excitement. It would so awesome to leave the classroom taller than when she got in. And people would stop not noticing her or tripping over her.
Medea...never heard of that before.
Then again, astronomy wasn't one of her greatest subjects. Though seeing the girl all excited about the prospect, Medea shrugged her shoulders up. "I don't know. Could be possible I guess..." The professor didn't particularly want to be any taller though.
Rubbing her hands together, Medea reached up a little, stretching her back before doing so to her arms, shoulders, legs...just a little warm up. "I'd advise stretching a little, just to warm up your muscles. Don't want any cramping limbs while climbing. Even if you're staying on the ground." She noted a few who hadn't moved from their spots, which was no big deal! Whatever they were comfortable with.
Making sure her gloves and shoes were on tight, and with one last stretch of her arms, she made her way over to the left wall. Oh, sticky feet. Made it hard to walk a little. "And if you're ready, you can come on over here and..." Looking up the side of the wall, she reached up and touched her palms to the wall, before one foot connected...and then the other. The professor climbed just a little ways, peeling her hands and feet off the wall to reach higher than before, and when she was a good ten feet up, she turned around to face the class.
"As easy as walking." She grinned. "Go on and try. When you make it to the top, you can wait for me or...you can reach out and touch the ceiling until you're far enough out to connect your feet as well. Feel free to try standing straight when you accomplish that. Don't worry, you'll stick just fine."
Medea took out her wand, giving a flick to a section above her. A large net connecting from one side of the arena to the other slowly came into view, having been disillusioned before the lesson. Just a precaution.

Now that she had her gloves and shoes on and had swallowed the drink she was starting to have second thoughts. Why did she think this was going to be a good idea? she shot a glance at Elliot to see if maybe she had changed her mind, but it didn't look like it.
She watched as the professor walked over to the wall and seemed to be climbing it without any problems whatsoever! It really did look easy enough. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad once she got started... that's what she was telling herself anyways. Suck it up Lockwood! You are not a baby. She took a deep breath and walked over to where the professor started her climb. Merlin it felt weird walking in the shoes. It was a bit of a relief to know while she was still on solid ground that they really did stick well.
She made it over to the wall and placed her right hand on it and sure enough it stuck. Next she put her left hand on the wall and it stuck with the same results. Now she had to do her foot. Gulp. It took her a minute to make her right foot work. It stuck and she immediately felt better. She quickly added her left foot to the wall and was glad to see that she was indeed sticking. She started to climb the wall slow and steady like. She was not going to get ahead of herself on this one.
She heard the professor say that they could go to the ceiling and stand straight. Oh no, no, no, no. Hannah couldn't possibly do that. The mere thought of it made her palms sweaty. She was going to have to take baby steps with this!

His eyes grew a little large when the Professor leaves the ground and started climbing the walls. For all the flying acrobatics Vickers have seen of Quidditch players it was still a bit unnerving to see a living person walk on all fours vertically.
On the Professor's prompting Vickers pressed both sticky shoes against the bottom of the wall and leaned forward, slowly inching his way up with his elbows to 'standing' position before stretching his arms out as far as his 6'1 frame can reach. He could hear a soft smacking sound as the sticky gloves makes contact on the wall. Now how to start moving forward?

When she saw the Professor take the first few steps?on the wall something suddenly clicked. This must have been why they weren't supposed to wear skirts. Hehe. Lex felt like such a smart cookie for realizing that. Yuuup, it took a special brand of Gryffindor intelligence to be as smart as she was. Nod.
Alexa slapped one hand on the wall then the next. It stuck! Neeeaaaat! Now the legs. Pretty soon she was doing a funny little walk up the wall.
Her head shot to the professor just in time to see her reveal a net...a NET!!!
Ooooooooo.
The 11 year old froze where she was, taking in the magnificence that could have been the highlight of the class. "Professor," A question popped into her mind, "Is that a bouncy net? If we were to fall on it would it be fun to go jumping on it?" Erm...not that she planned to conveniently lose her grip to try it out. Nope. What gave anyone that bizarrely accurate idea...?
It looked so fun...She wanted to try it. O___O

Professor Lafay was kind enough to help in the creation of the potions. The woman's ingredients were used in it after all. "Questions should be asked now, rather than later."
Professor say whaaaaaat? No. Definitely not. Sierra was not going up there like...THAT. Though, even as she was trying to talk herself out of it, she knew she'd give up. When everyone else appeared to be trying it, she surely wasn't going to be the one who didn't.
She retrieved a pair of gloves and shoes and put them on. Afterwards, she headed over to the table and took a sample of the potion. It made her feel better that her mother had some sort of involvement in this. She'd never let Sierra down. Sierra turned the sample upside down and drank the potion.

"As easy as walking." She grinned. "Go on and try. Medea took out her wand, giving a flick to a section above her. A large net connecting from one side of the arena to the other slowly came into view, having been disillusioned before the lesson. Just a precaution.
Sierra began stretching as the professor advised them to do so. She stretched left and right then up and down. All the while, she wondered what in the name of Merlin this had to do with DADA. What was she meant to do? Encounter a Nundu then say, 'BRB, let me drink my Spiderman potion, 'kay?' Yeah...
She eyed the professor, still quite hesitant to do this, and then she approached the wall. She put her hands up there first and then her feet. She climbed only two feet before pausing and growing wide-eyed.
Rubbing her hands together, Medea reached up a little, stretching her back before doing so to her arms, shoulders, legs...just a little warm up. Stretching? Made sense. Nimoe copied what the professor was doing, all the while eying the wall closest to her. You're about to get hardcore climbed, and you don't even know it. If it were any other wall than one located in Hogwarts, she wouldn't even have had the thought, but... who knew how alive this place was? Alive enough to lock them all out of their common rooms, that's how alive. Mean thing.
Once she was stretched, or at least as stretched as she was patient enough to get, she made for the wall. Her first steps were rather like a newborn duckling learning how to use its feet, since the darn shoes seemed to like sticking to the floor as much as anything else. Lifting each foot high into the air and a little to the side as she went felt downright odd, but it got her to the wall without face-planting into the floor.
"Right. Time for awesome."
In her enthusiasm, she put her first hand on the wall as far as it would go. Then the other one. Then realized she was rather stretched out. After a few seconds of contemplative frowning, she swung a leg wide and up, planting it on the wall. Then there was nothing for it but to heave upwards with the other one, crossing her foot under the first leg and planting it. Sure, she was sort of becoming sideways, but it was all a part of the learning process. Then she moved the first foot higher again, since obviously she had to uncross her legs, and suddenly her feet where somehow higher than her hands. She tried to shake one of her braids out of her face, grumbling to herself, "Well this doesn't seem right."
At the unveiling of the gloves and shoes, Eliza was somewhat relieved, although sort of illogically so. She was more comfortable wearing charmed shoes, hoping they'd hold up, than she was with having a live person actively sending her up there. I suppose I just trust Medea's wand skills more than I do my fellow classmates. Maybe it wasn't so irrational after all.
Medea's spider caught her attention with the soft clinking of its metal legs. Where on earth did she get that? she wondered. It was so interesting that she wanted one of her own as well. How neat would that be to have a little mechanical creature following me around? At least until I get a kneazle that is... As she walked over to the box to put on her gloves and shoes, she waited for the professor to have a free moment. These shoes sure are...interesting, she thought as she wiggled each toe into place. Once those were on, she stood straight and tugged on the gloves. Oh, I should probably drink the potion first, duh! She slipped them back off and walked over to the table to take a drink. The color was a bit off-putting and the reactions from the other students told her it would be anything but enjoyable. Down the hatch! She looked past her palette and gulped the unpleasant potion down. "Eeck," she muttered as she set her empty cup back down. She turned to Medea while she put her gloves on for the second time and asked her about the spider. "Professor, did you make that spider? I mean, put all the parts together and everything? It's really neat!" She really admired it. Sure, it wasn't as cuddly as a kitten would be, but it was so unique.
She tested the stickiness of the gloves on the wall next to them, mentally going over how she would balance herself on the wall. Not being the most athletic person, she hoped somehow the gloves and shoes would offset the weight of her body too. She wasn't sure if she was strong enough to climb up, but she supposed the charm wouldn't let her fall even if she needed to rest.

"Alright, I think now is about a good of time as any to start. If you haven't noticed yet, which I'm sure all of you have, we don't have the purple mats today. This is because..."
"...are able to get up there?"
Minerva followed her gaze up to the ceiling and that's when she saw them. Her mouth flew open... "Peeves" she muttered to herself. Why was he so annoying at times, especially this term it seemed. Minerva shook her head in disbelief and looked back at the professor. That's when she said it.. Minerva couldn't help but smile. Go up there to do Yoga.. That sounded so cool. She couldn't wait to do it, but how??

Listening to each and every idea, nodding here and there, her gaze settled on the fourth year Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Prefect. "Where's your sense of adventure? It would be just too simple and boring to let them fall down on their own. Though yes, normally, I would advise going the safest root possible when it comes to, potentially dangerous, situations..."
"Which, I must say, those are some good ideas given. I think Mister Gunter and Miss Branxton were closer to what I had in mind for today. We will be sticking ourselves up there, quite literally, and although it won't be because of a potion, there will be something you need to drink in order to keep the blood in your body from rushing to your head." Moving over to the two boxes, she scooted them out in front where all could see and opened them up. Hopefully none in front were scared of the eight legged creatures, for her mechanical spider scuttled out of one box suddenly and stood by Medea's feet. What was in the boxes though were what looked to be shoes and gloves. "And I thought, since we're up there, we might just have our lesson up there as well."
She paused and looked back to the class. "Again, it is quite safe, I promise you that. These shoes and gloves are sticky enough to keep you stuck to the walls. Trust me, I've tried them." Medea raised her hand up a little. Guilty! "But of course, I will be taking other precautions once we start getting up there. If you'd rather stay on the ground, that is perfectly fine. Being up there will give a different perspective that I wanted to aim for though, and surely something you wouldn't want to miss out on, but, that is entirely up to you. So, take a moment to think about that. If you would like to join me, take a pair of gloves and shoes and put them on. They'll shrink or grow to the correct size on their own so there are no worries about looking for a perfect fit."
"Also, mandatory for those going up, besides the gloves and shoes. OOC: If your character feels like going up, take a pair of gloves/shoes and put them on as well as drink one of the potions in the cups from the table, though do try to have them resist going all Spiderman in the class until Medea says it's okay. There is no problem with having your character stay on the ground as well. It's up to them after all!
We'll continue sometime around 7pm EST tomorrow.
Minerva couldn't take the smile off her face, this was awesome. As soon as they were given permission she moved to the front of the room and took a pair or shoes and a pair of gloves. Heading back to her place she sat on the cold floor and changed her shoes into the special ones feeling them shrink to fit her feet, then she placed the gloves on her hands. This was just to exciting and Minerva wanted to head up the wall now, but before she did she thought about the cup. Oh yeah.. better get that drink. She walked over to the cups and took one, drinking the potion quickly so she wouldn't get behind and be left out in any of the activities.

Oops!
Accent slip.
Minerva looked around to see that some were not going to do the lesson with them. That was horrible, why wouldn't they want to have fun. She listened as the professor told them to stretch. She began to do some stretches, accidently getting her hand stuck a few times. Once she was done stretching she carefully walked to the wall. It took her awhile since her feet wanted to just stick to the floor. Once at the wall she took a deep breath and put her hand on the wall. It stuck pretty good. She began to climb the wall. This was so amazing. Once she had made it to the top she moved out on the ceiling still crawling. Minerva found a mat and placed her sticky feet on it. Looking down she got nervous. That was so weird seeing the floor and some of her friends on the floor. Closing her eyes she breathed in and then pushed her hands off the ceiling. Standing straight up she looked around.. Oh this was beyond awesome...

Gideon had been paying apt attention to Professor Romanos as she explained the situation...and the intended actions to take place during the lesson. Not afraid of heights and quite curious for the adventure, the seventh year moved with the willing students to the supplies given over to them. One by one, he added a pair of gloves and boots to his limbs, eahc item conforming to his personal shape. The phrase 'fit like a glove' was rather appropriate at this time. However the Romanian woman was speaking once more with further instructions and he had set to drink from one of the glasses so it was time to move further into the task at hand.
Approaching the table of glasses, the Gryffindor picked up one of the still filled ones and tentatively brought it to his lips. Yeah...smelled like one of his father's less pleasant experiments. Gideon pushed him to swig back the cup's contents however as otherwise he'd be stuck on the ground watching the rest above and that would be mighty boring. With the two preperatory steps down...nope, he caught himself remembering the mention of stretching. And so he moved a few feet away and did just that, first his legs and then his arms and finally bending over to do his back. That all said and done it was the moment of truth...
...the climbing.
Gideon walked towards the nearest wall and applied his two hands to its surface. They stuck like they were supposed to, giving when pulled so he could move them. So far so good. Tentatively sticking one foot up, he shifted his hands a little further up the wall before adding his other and leaving the floor all together. Can we say odd feeling.?

Gloves and shoes on, Kurumi giggled softly as they shrunk to fit her tiny hands and feet and then set to doing some light stretches. Nothing too fancy or elaborate, just the usual routine she did back home before kendo practice. Once her limbs felt limber enough, Kurumi returned her attention to the potion and took a small sip and tried not to wrinkle her nose too much at the flavor.
Ew.
Taking a few more sips, Kurumi walked over to one of the walls and timidly put her hands on it and instantly felt as though there was some sort of magnet pulling the two together. This.Was.Weird. Removing one hand and placing it a bit higher, Kurumi placed a foot on the wall next and squeaked when she found herself no longer on the ground. This.Was.SOOO.Weird.

Jory watched as the Professor began her climb. Soon, other students began to follow her. Hoping he would not fall off the wall, he began his climb.
He placed his right hand first on the wall first followed by is left one. Then his feet joined the wall. His hands inched up higher followed by his feet. And higher and higher the boy was going. He wondered how he would feel if he looked down. Finally he made up his mid that he wouldn't do it, so he just continued with the climb.

And now it was time to start going all spider monkey on the classroom. Inwardly, even though she still wished she could get rid of the icky aftertaste of the potion in her mouth, Kendall was seriously bouncing. Eating-too-much-chocolate-and-suffering-a-massive-sugar-rush bouncing. What should have happened on the train ride to school if Mika and then the train dying hadn't interrupted the truffle experiment, but by now, she didn't care about that. All she cared about was the fact she was going to get to be even more ninja-like and defy gravity without having to worry about flying. She was having trouble keeping herself from just running headlong at the wall and trying to plant her feet on it, honestly, but she managed to restrain herself to just balancing on the balls of her feet as Professor Romanos had spoken again. At least now she knew how long the potion was going to last, and she assumed the gripping charms on the gloves and shoes were going to last as long too. Plus, the balancing meant less surface area on the floor to stick her there, and she amused herself with sticking her fingers together as she waited to be set free.
Okay, stretching first, she thought disappointedly as they were instructed to make sure they were limber. She was plenty loose, muscle-wise, but she carefully stretched her arms and bounced a few times on her toes to warm up her legs before she watched the professor scale the wall. Awesome, she thought, before carefully making her way to the wall herself, still balanced on her toes so she didn't stick as much. leaning forward, she held her hands out to connect with the wall palm-first, then walked them upward until she felt her toes leaving the ground so she could shift to put her feet up against the wall as well. She wasn't exactly worried about falling, and practically as soon as she was attached to the wall, she went back to walking her hands upward and following with her feet, shifting her head around to try and tuck her ninja necklace under her sweater so it wouldn't hit her in the face later on. It didn't work very well, but she wasn't going to have to worry about that quite yet. She had to get to the ceiling first, and therefore she continued scuttling up the wall until she got to the top.
Glancing behind her, she grinned at the sight of everything below her before noticing the net stretching its way across the room. Even less fear of falling, although she hadn't had that to begin with. After that brief pause, she started moving her way up onto the ceiling, angling her body backward until it was impossible to hold her feet to the wall, so she started walking them upward again as well and onto the ceiling as well. Still excited, and she moved out toward the purple mats un til she stopped in a half-crouched , upside-down position. Time to stand up. She giggled a little at the idea of hanging around upside-down like a bat with long hair, but still gently peeled one hand and then the other from the ceiling to stand up. Hopefully the professor was right, and the charm on the shoes would hold. She wasn't turning back.

Stretching. Was this the DADA equivalent to practice in Quidditch? Cause if it was, Merlin knows what Kat might do.... Flail eternally. Just kidding. But Kat just loves Quidditch so much that.... Yeah. After stretching, Kat looked up at Romanos. What.... Is.... Spiderwoman? She was high up there! Kat hated heights. But that's where irony is injected in. She can fly in Quidditch but she can't climb a building? Weirdo.
Looking at the wall, Kat took a deep breath and started climbing. Right hand, left foot. And vice versa with the other hand and foot. She felt like a lizard, stuck onto a pole. Ew. That's just disgusting. Gerroff my head. But well... It felt cool, bring high up...
But Quidditch was still better.

Befelda was confused. What is Professor Romanos trying to imply here? But then, she thought of using the broom to go up the ceiling. This is her right time to ride her broom. She quickly raised her hand. "Professor, maybe we could use our brooms to fly up the ceiling!", she promptly said, seemed so excited about what she said to the Professor.

Oh, rubbish! This Professor really has soo many things in mind, first lesson in a Purple mat doing Yoga, and now sticking ourselves up to the ceiling?! Ah! Why are these Professors soo many things coming into their minds?!
Befelda was a little bit disappointed about what this class was really doing. She thought that Defense Against the Dark Arts class would be much exciting for her than any other classes, perhaps she was wrong. She's been expecting more of casting spells and disarming but well, it was like more of sports and exercise.
But anyways, she has no choice but to follow and study the subject. She came back to her senses and erased the negative feeling about the class. Though she's a little bit afraid of heights, she thought she could do it once.
She took a pair of gloves and shoes and worn it. Suddenly, the gloves and shoes slowly blew to its perfect size. "Wow, cool! They did fit my hands and feet!", she said to herself. Now she's ready to climb the wall. She almost forgot, they need to drink the potion from one of the cups in the table. She headed there quickly and drank the potion from one of the cups. Oh please! This really IS an exercise class! And now we need to go stretching. Ok ok! Befelda was really annoyed with this stretching thing. They have done this before in their Yoga class. But again she has no choice but to do it.
She stretched her arms and legs and jog for few minutes. Now, I think I'm ok to climb.
She took the wall on her right. She was nervous, her heart's beating fast. Her fear of heights has somewhat began to become dominant. But she fought for it. She slowly placed and stick her hands on the wall. She's impressed as it was really sticky and she can't even move and pull her hands from sticking in the wall. Brilliant!, she thought. She then continued climbing, she stepped her left foot next and then moved her right hand up, then her right foot up and so on and so forth.
She then reached the ceiling without realizing that she's already up there. She slowly made few steps more and put her feet to the ceiling and made a standing position. She was scared at first to fully stretch her body. She felt her heart beating fast, but luckily, she has no feeling of blood going down her head. "Hmm...the potion Professor Lafay's brewed was actually effective. Brilliant work, Professor!", she quipped, as if saying these words to Professor Lafay. She noticed Professor Romanos drew her wand and put out the net for precaution, just in case some students would hurt themselves down.

It looked so fun...She wanted to try it. O___O
...
"No." she stated, looking over to Alexa, hoping the thought of it being okay to lose her grip on the wall being alright would disperse. "It's just here to stop a fall, for precaution." Ahem. Yesitwasbouncy.
What?

Sure, she was sort of becoming sideways, but it was all a part of the learning process. Then she moved the first foot higher again, since obviously she had to uncross her legs, and suddenly her feet where somehow higher than her hands. She tried to shake one of her braids out of her face, grumbling to herself, "Well this doesn't seem right."
Mostly everyone was doing alright with this, which Medea was excited about. Except...
Oops. "Miss Baxter...best turn yourself forward." Crawling back down the wall, her feet touched the ground while she pulled her hands away, standing right next to the sideways Ravenclaw. In-case a little help was needed. "Almost like climbing a ladder."

Talk of her spider had her glancing back to the boxes...only to see it missing now. Where had that pesky thing gone? "Yes, thank you, Miss Dawnsel." she smiled to the Ravenclaw girl and then looking to see how everyone was doing.
This...
Was the strangest sight...
Ever.
But totally worth it in her opinion. Oh look, her mechanical spider decided to climb the wall with the students. "Well done. Looks like you're getting the hang of it." she nodded approvingly. Counting how many students decided to sit it out, Medea took a deep breath before continuing on. "Keep climbing if you aren't to the top yet and as you do so..."
"Can anyone tell me something they know about grindylows?"
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

What?
"Awww..." Lex looked over at the net longingly. It would have possibly been the best jump ever!!! SIGH. Maybe next time...though at the end of the class she didn't think anything would have been wrong with having a little free fall. One way or another she would get down so technically it wouldn't have made a difference.
It may not have been bouncy but it was a fall nonetheless! "Okay Professor..."

Grindylows?
"Aren't those the ugly things at the bottom of the lake? The ones that mermaids keep for pets?"
She wanted a Grindylow for Christmas but her father said no. It was the most disappointing Christmas ever. She got over it eventually but it still hurt to
know that her father actually told her 'no'. 'No' was a mean word that shouldn't have been invented in the first place...erm...unless of course she was the one using it.

Belle was getting ready. She was stretching her arms and legs. Belle did not want to cramp while she was crawling. That was the last thing she needed. Belle went to the wall. She placed her hand on the wall and it stuck like a suction cup. Then Belle placed her foot and it stuck too. Then she placed her other hand and foot and started to crawl on the wall, following the professor.
NOW this was fun. Belle was smiling and felt like spiderman. She was crawling on the wall being a cool kid. Belle then made it to the top. She felt victorious. She felt like she was king of the world. Belle saw her other classmates sitting down there and felt they were missing out.

Belle was looking around the saw the mechanical spider crawling along the wall with them. "Awww professor, the spider wants some adventure too!" she tilted her head towards the spider. She did not dare un suction her hand from the top. She did not want to fall.
Then Belle heard the familiar word Grindylows..she studied them in DADA last term. Belle spoke out, "Well i know Grindylows are water demons, they are known to be aggressive around humans and wizards. They use their long fingers and teeth and pointy horns to capture their prey." Belle was just hanging on the ceiling feeling like a monkey actually...
