The lesson was over and another one without homework. Jory didn't mind. It would give him extra time to study in the library.

Theo shuffled away from everyone else in the class, as someone he knew as his best friend's sister, set someone's foot on fire. That was worrying... But it got put out quickly, so Theo soon let it go. The Ravenclaw probably deserved it, even though he did quite like the Head Girl.

His foot dropped down from the tree position, and in good time, because he was about to fall flat on his face anyway. Aaaaaand the lesson was over.

Good, Theo needed a hot bath to relax his muscles. "Bye, professor." He muttered and waddled out of the room without a back glance to anyone.

First shoes were thrown, then Beezus' injury, and now people were being lit on fire. At this point, Kendall forgot about wondering about West's rambling about how they were all wrong in their suggestions of dark creatures and if the professor was going to agree with him and say they were all stupid. Instead, she was feeling oddly happy of the fact that nobody could say she had anything to do with any of it. She remembered that look Vickers had given her, making it seem like he thought she was trouble. Okay, maybe she was. Sometimes. But she was a perfect student in this lesson and even managed to yoga positions. Sort of. She hadn't fallen over, even if she had kind of altered some of the positions to make themselves more comfortable for her. At least she hadn't gotten all caught up in the tangle of Ravenclaws involved in said fire thing. First garlic breath in Herbology, and now the smell of singed shoelaces and sweater. Yep. Classes at Hogwarts are definitely back, she thought. Plus, she found it interesting that she was fairly sure West's sister had caused both of those incidents. Therefore, Vickers was giving looks to the entirely wrong Claw girl, and she found herself giving the boy a bit of a 'so there' look before things became way lighter as class officially ended.

Then she dropped to a seated position on the mat, completely ignoring the fact they'd been told that there wasn't going to be any homework as she proceeded to put her combat boots back on. She wasn't about to walk around school in her sock feet, after all, and she also didn't see a point in homework for a review lesson. She had better things to think about, like making sure Beezus went to the healer to find out what had happened during the boat position. She hadn't forgotten about that either, and she glanced over at her friend next to her as she stood back up. "Time for the healer?," she asked. Please? She didn't want her friend hurting for no reason. But then she shifted her attention to Professor Romanos at the front of the class as a matter of politeness. "Bye, Professor," she said with a smile. "The yoga was nice. Hard, but still good." At least she felt a bit less upset and confused for the moment, but then she still had others to consider. To which she turned her hazel eyes back to Beezus. Waiting.

Beezus slowly shifted into the Tree Pose and was focusing on the flow of class, With answers here and there to the Professor's question, she too was about to give another answer when something alighted not too far from where she was.

Fire? Was that fire? Who was on fire? And who made the fire?

Stretching her neck to get a clearer view, she completely disregarded that Tree position as she saw that it was their Head Girl. Meep. Thankfully, Vickers was then at her side and had extinguished the fire immediately. Good. She heard Louisa said she was alright. Mhhmm. Better.

...that answer Professor Romanos gave West. It aroused curiosity. She would have to ponder on those words later.

And they were done, yes? No homework?

There was a muttering from somewhere and he might’ve guessed it was Dylan because of the accent, but he wasn’t entirely sure. In any case he wasn’t moving his eyes from Louisa until she said she was really ok. Which she did, and got him to stand. He nodded his head modestly at the Professor when she thanked him for his quick response but turned his attention back to the Head Girl grumbling about her shoe--

”Sorry Vivi....” he mumbled as he helped her up. It was then that the Professor dismissed the class and he turned back towards his mat to collect his things. He was folding his singed sweater into his book bag that he caught Louisa’s voice again.....

And she was pointing at Aspen?

This Ravenclaw blinked in surprise. Aspen had set Louisa on fire? But why would she do that?

No he didn’t want to rethink what happened in Charms class last term. Aspen was a good Claw who had the toughest luck of being accused of certain dastardly things.

Right?....

He realized he was staring at Aspen for a bit after Louisa left. No there was no judging in his eyes, it was more of a glint at trying to figure out an anomaly that suddenly caught his attention. Finally he turned away and headed towards the door. He needs to get a new sweater back at the Common Room before his next class.

WHAT? Class dismissed. NO HOMEWORK.

OH THE JOOOOOOOOOOOOOY. Kat was probably partying and rejoicing deep inside. No, she didn't wanna look like an idiot dancing in the middle of the classroom with everyone watching.

"Goodbye, Professor," Kat said, packing her slingbag. "Thanks for the lesson,"

NO HOMEWORK! Yay. Sarah thanked the professor, gathered her things and left. It felt like such a waste of a lesson, did they have to cover the same thing in the first lesson every year?

Nigel gathered his things and was ready to leave.

"Thanks for the lesson Professor Romanos"

Nigel then quickly left the room before Professor Romanos thought about it again and gave them homework,

Blink.Blink. Well this has been an interesting class. Hannah took notes of everything and was thrilled that the professor announced that there would not be any homework. Time to gather her things and book it before she would take anything back.

"Thanks for another great lesson professor." She slung her bad over her shoulder and left the class.

Another wave of her wand had the windows opening just a bit, enough to let out some of the smoke and bring in that cool fresh air. She smiled and gave a few "good days" and "goodbyes" to those who passed by.

Turning back to West as he spoke more questions, Medea re-holstered her wand and sat back on her mat, lotus style. Even Sierra seemed to be getting into the topic. "Miss Greingoth is right. Much like spells, just because the intent is there, doesn't make the actual spell, or in this case creature, dark. Highly dangerous maybe depending on vot your doing, though not dark." she finally spoke up after Sierra, accent falling back into place. "But yes, the influx of dark and dangerous creatures created by vizards in the past, vether accidental or not, do hold a big part, if not all, in the ban of experimental breeding."

No homework? Awesome. That wasn't that bad, it was actually a good lesson if you didn't consider the strenuous yoga poses. "Thank you professor" Kai beamed as he packed up his things and almost jogged out of the classroom.

Wow, he must have been out of it, distracted in his own thoughts brought on by mentions of all things dark. Because one minute everything seemed fine and the next Vickers was reacting to fire on Louisa and Professor Romanos was not only airing out the room but dismissing the lesson. Um...okay...sigh. Thoughts of Grant really were bothering him for some reason, this time more than others.

With a simple enough move, Gideon returned himself from the last yoga position to standing up perfectly normal. He then moved to gather his belongings together almost on autopilot. "Good day professor," he said softly, clearly still a little distracted as he made his way from his mat towards the door in effort to leave with the rest. The seventh year nearly bumping into a fellow student but catching himself.
