Laura looked at Oakey and growled. "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!!!!" Laura snapped, "I know your unlucky an all but your not that unlucky, you did it on purpose I just know." Yeah Laura knew it, she did, she did, she did, he had no reason to be near her but he had come near her and she might be small but she wasn't that small so he could see her right.

Laura looked at Minerva and gave her a hung. "I've been spending loads of time in the girls dorm or away from the common room." Laura smiled. "I've been trying to stay away from Mr annoying." Laura smirked, yeah so she had called Felicity makes-you-feel-sick but it wasn't her fault he was annoying.

Laura smiled as she listened to her friend talk about the idea. "I love it, it is a lot better than the idea I had." Laura really did love the way it had turned out, this way they could meet cute boys as well as talk with their friends.

Laura looked at her Bestie and gave her one of the get him out of my sight before I do something I'll regret looks, she wasn't going to speak to Ella whilst Oakey was around, he was a meany who didn't deserve to have Ella as a friend, he had broke everyone's little hearts.

Belle sat down with Damon and gave him some nice advice. "Well..I think Minnie has an effect on everyone she meets and gets to know. She is a great person. You are lucky to have her as a best friend."

When Damon mentioned moving on, Belle thought of a reply and said, "Well everyone moves on in their own time. I do not know what you are going through and it is mostly none of my business. But i know it took time for me to get over things. I am sure you will too. We all know when we are ready." she looked down at her feet. She did not want the conversation to be too awkward.

Belle heard someone agree with Shrek. She turned around and giggled at the girl who had food stuffed in her mouth. Belle asked, "And what would be your name sweetie?"



Belle decided to go get Shrek out and put it on. "Alright i will go get Shrek." she got up, ran up to her dormitory and got down Shrek. "See i have it right here! I will remember the good old days when i was a child watching this." she smiled and got the DVD out of the case. She placed it in and started to play it.



Belle turned around after putting the movie in for her other puffs. She saw Damon playing the guitar. She walked over to him. She knew that song he was playing. She remembered hearing it on a TV show. Her parents used to watch it before she went to hogwarts.

"I did not know you played the guitar." she said impressed with his skills. "I also love this song." she started humming and even sang the words to the song as she sat down next to Damon.




Belle smiled and saw Sutton dancing. Belle agreed that is looked amazing in here. The atmosphere in the common was electrifying. She was so happy. Belle could wipe the grin off her face. Belle asked Sutton, "How is your term going?"



Belle was glad he remembered her on the train. She was glad she was not a stranger coming up to him. That would have been awkward. Belle should not worry so much.

When Lewis mentioned he was busy, Belle nodded and said, "I can see that. It looks like you can use a nap, or even a full night's sleep. I know i sure do." Belle did not feel tired though because of all the adrenaline rushing through her body because of the party. She knew she could crash as soon as the party was over.

When he mentioned how she was liking her badge, Belle looked down and admired it. "Oh i am liking it a lot. It is very cool and you do feel like you have a sense of power over the students. But then again i do have a lot of responsibilities. I sometimes get stressed out but i do handle it. I write to my mom a lot or write down my feelings." Belle shrugged as it was not a big deal.

"How are you liking your prefect duties?" Belle wanted to know his take on his prefect duties.

Awarlesta swallowed her food before answering her fellow house prefect. She smiled, "I'm Awarlesta."

Damon nodded in agreement, "She really is... Minus when she's trying to push me into new things." He gave a kind smile, "She's been trying to get me over an ex." Eh, why not just come right out and say it, "I think that's the main reason she wanted me here, was to try to meet someone new and she's expecting it to be happily ever after and this new girl will somehow make me stay here instead of transfering like I want to." He laughed, "She's a great friend... but she's a little bit too big on fairy tales I believe."

When she complimented his playing Damon blushed slightly and then sighed, "You set me up," Slight glare at Minerva for that one, but he turned back to Belle, "Thank you... I've been playing for a few years. Taught myself actually." He stopped singing for a moment hearing her sing along but quickly continued and laid the guitar down as he finished, "I can't believe someone else knows that song."

Awww and look everyone Damon is singing.. hehe
 

Min smiled at the girl, "Wel it's great to meet you Awar. That is a very neat name by the way. I love Shrek to, it will be so much fun to watch. I miss the muggle movies we use to have last term." she then laughed as the younger girl stuck a marshmallow in her mouth and started talking again, "Well I'm so glad your having fun!"



Minerva just looked at him with her same evil I'm up to something grin crossing her arms, "Well we will see about that Mr..." sticking out her tongue she laughed. She was having fun and just wished he was as well. There had to be something to pull him out of this shy thing he was always in around new people.

She then smiled even bigger when he got his guitar and started to sing. "Yup, I knew you could sing and everyone is going to enjoy it!" she listened to the song and then gave him a quick hug when he had finished.



Minerva looked at Carigan with concern. She hoped the girl was ok, but she wasn't going to push the issue. She watched as she went and got food from the table and hoped she would cheer up soon at least.



Minerva smiled, oh good so her memory wasn't going crazy on her she hadn't met the girl. "Well it's great to meet you, everyone calls me either Min or Minnie." she added. Why she ever introduced herself as Minerva she wasn't sure anymore since even some professors were not calling her that.

Looking around she smiled, "Well I'm glad everyone is liking it. It was an idea a few of us had come up with and it went from there." she was proud of their little idea and how great it was working. She hoped people would play the games and start making the s'mores.. Hmm the games, Minerva wondered if she should try to get a game going.



Minerva smiled at Captain Nessie.. "Well as long as you think your will be fine. How are classes going for you? You seem to be doing a great job at Captain this year." she wanted to make sure to let Ness know that. She still felt kind of sad for not trying out, but it worked out Puffs looked great and she loved announcing. Minerva then smiled again, "Thanks, it has turned out pretty good. I really hope everyone has fun." Minerva was liking how much fun everyone seem to be having so far.



Minerva danced and laughed with Sutton and Belle. "This is great!" she giggled and then leaned towards Belle, "To bad Ethan wasn't able to be in our house." she chucked. She loved to dance and dancing with her two friends was great, but it was making her thirsty. She went over and got a soda and then made her way back to the dancing. "So how do you think it's going so far?" she asked both girls wanting to know their thoughts as well.



Minerva kind of frowned when she saw his face, he didn't seem to want to be here nor maybe it was just her. Did she ever do something that might have made him not like her. She hoped not, but then he was nice as he started to talk, so she just pushed the thoughts away.

"Well I'm doing well, great actually. Term has been going way to fast and there is so much to do, but it's all been pretty good so far." She listened as he said how busy he was and she figured he was as a seventh year and all. Then she felt herself blush a bit, "Oh, yes it does look great. Professor Hadley did the majority of the decorating and the elves helped to I think. These were just ideas that came together, but I'm glad you like it."



Minerva smiled happy that Laura liked it even though it changed from the original just girls sleepover, but this was a way to include everyone so it was going to be a great time. HMMM.. looking around the room, speaking of boys.. where was Ed.. shaking the thought off Minerva turned back to Laura, "Want to get some food or anything?"

Just then Oakey had knocked into her and the two didn't seem to friendly. She glared at the boy still mad at him for her own reasons. Wow did he turn out to not be the boy she thought he was. Grumble, grumble, but she was going to show she was a TRUE puff unlike him and not jump against her own housemate without getting the facts straight. Give a slight smile, "Oakey" is all she could muster in a nice tone.



Minerva couldn't be happier at that moment. She was excited for Shrek and found a place to sit with popcorn. "Belle you want some?" she smiled and offered the popcorn to her friend. "Thanks for being nice to Damon by the way." she said a bit quieter. "He is a great guy, I just don't think people see that, because he is so shy and always by himself." she shrugged wishing she could get him out of that shell.

Turning she started to laugh as the Donkey began to speak to Shrek, she really never got tired of the donkey he was her favorite character in these movies.

Belle was having a great time dancing. Belle giggled and said, "Yeah too bad Ethan isn't here. I mean i think he was rain on our parade." Belle added with a wink. She wanted Minnie to have an amazing time and not worry about her every move around him.

Belle decided to go with Minnie to get a soda. She was thirsty. She gulped down a whole coke. It felt cool and refreshing. This was the life. When Minnie asked how things were going, Belle said "I think everything is going well! Everyone loves the movie, the food, and the atmosphere was so friendly. "You did an amazing job Minnie putting everything together." Belle went to hug her some more :glomp: Belle was having a fun time watching shrek. She was laughing with Minnie at the donkey parts too. "Isn't donkey hillarious?" Belle asked with tears in her eyes. Belle took some popcorn and ate some. Belle replied, "Of course i am always happy to help people, Damon is a nice guy.We actually have a lot in common once i get to know him. I used to be a shy girl too.



Belle chuckled and said, "Well why shouldn't we believe in fairytales? I mean i sometimes live in them but then i have reality checks. But i am going through the same thing. Last year i dated this boy for six months and i fell in love with him. He left me for another girl when i was going back to Hogwarts. He wanted me to stay with him. But i wanted to go to school.I was heart broken. Even to this day i am still getting over it." she shrugged and looked down. She did not mind telling Damon since he was honest with her.

As Belle was done singing, she blushed and replied, "Well i know that song because my parents and cousins used to watch that show all the time. I even know some of the characters names." she said matter of factly. "It is kind of cool we have something in common now right?"




Belle smiled and said, "Nice to meet you Awarlesta! I am Annabelle but you can call me Belle for short. How are you liking your term so far? Did you like your classes?" she wanted to get a little conversation started with her new puff she just met.

"I'm serious Min. I'm here until the end of the year and then I'm gone." Damon sighed and looked at her, "I really dislike you right now..." He gave a small smirk though as he hugged her back.



Damon sighed and ruffled his hair, "I guess it's just hard to believe in fairy tales with everything that's happened to me. I lost my mother two years ago, and my father and I have never been close. I had a long period when I really just didn't want to be here anymore." He wasnt going into more detail on that part then that. He looked at Belle, "That's actually similar to what happened with Ari... She said she needed to go date more people and she couldn't do forever yet. Said I was 'Too perfect' to date and the day after started dating some Slytherin named Richard, who I've hear is horrid. Now she's dating someone else named Lucas." He sighed.

Damon nodded, "My grandmother watched it apparently." He smiled, "I never got into the show really, though I did enjoy the song." He smiled and nodded to her question, "Yeah, I suppose it is."

Nate walked downstairs from the boys dormitory. The reason why he was upstairs was because he was busy writing a song, but the he was disrupted from all the noise coming downstairs in the common room. So he went down to see if there was a party or something, because there was no such thing as a party without Nate being there.

Once he arrived he saw that it WAS a party. So Nate decided to join in on the fun. He immeadiately found a chair, and sat down in it because he would be entertaining his fellow badgers with some songs! He took the guitar off of his back, and started playing while singing

"It's a pleasure meeting you too, Minnie! Muggle movies remind me so much of home. My mum's a Muggle so anything Muggle reminds me of her." She smiled in a goofy matter at her. "I'm glad too!"



Awar smiled and shook her hand, "Nice to meet you too, Belle! I'm always going to think of a Disney princess when I hear your name." She giggled. "I love it here! I never imagined to love school this much!! I do miss my brother and mother dearly at times, but I have to grow up sometime." She drank some soda and then continued, "I love, love, love my classes. It's such a relief to actually do some magic. I was always jealous of my brother when he went here."

Just as he thought she would Laura turned on Oakey and began yelling at him. "Merlin, give it a rest Laura!" Oakey was sick and tired of Laura and her constant state of mind that the world revolves around her and only her! "It was an accident! You don't know anything about my luck so go cry about it to someone else!"

He really wanted to get so much off of his chest against her, but it was cut short when Ella stepped in and pulled him towards the music, and asked him to play music. As he hurried away from one angry puff he came to the next one that wasn't to happy with him either. "Minerva," Oakey said back to her as he stopped at the stereo. "Thanks for getting me away from her." Oakey gave Ella a sincere smile and a nod. He looked through a few of the songs and finally picked one out.

he knew it was probably a really bad idea to choose this song. As he placed the CD into the stereo and skipped directly to the song he wished to play. Pressing down on the pause button he looked back in the direction of Laura and spoke loudly. "I dedicate this song to Laura!" he pushed down on the play, and I'm Finding it Harder to Be a Gentleman, by The White Stripes played into the bustling noise that the rest of the Hufflepuffs were making.

Carigan looked up and saw Nate come in. She smiled as he started to play a song on his guitar. This is what she needed, a good night with the badgers, that would make her forget the dream right?

She walked over to where Nate was a sat down and smiled at him, bobbing her head to the music.

Guessing she was supposed to be involved in these events, since she was somewhat responsible with organising it., she prepared herself for social interaction. Glenn walked out of the dormitories, her hair straightened (like always). Hearing music, Glenn walked over and purposely sat down next to the little boy with the guitar. She couldn't play guitar but she could sing well enough.

Joining in, Glenn sang the harmonies. There weren't that many people here,. She thought there would be a lot more.

While she sang along, she gave a little wave to Minerva and the other people she knew.

It was a real shame for the Hufflepuffs who were celebrating their 'Badgerness,' but the unseen force would not be stopped by anyone or anything, regardless of their level of festivity.

The locking happened so suddenly, and quietly, but it happened all the same: everyone in the Common Room, whether they had been lounging there for hours or had just walked in the door, was suddenly evicted.

All Hufflepuff students were repelled from their Common Room and attached areas as an unseen force locked all entrances and exits to the rooms with one resounding, echoing, ominous CLICK.

The Common Room was officially locked and sealed to all.
