West led the way as usual, and snagged a likely looking compartment for himself and his friends. Including Kat. You know, cos he had asked her to sit with him.

Yep, they were so going home now. Kat had a mixture of sadness and happiness. Sad, she didn't want to leave and Seventh Years were leaving too. Happy, cause she's going home and summer was coming. And then sad again, though she's accepted the death of her dad, she still missed him. Silly.

West did ask Kat to sit with him and the others at the Train. Which was weird. He seemed to have a lot of things to discuss with her about you-know-what. And well... she can't say no. She arrived at the compartment West led them to... and... hold up. It was still empty except for him. Weird though. West was usually with his group of friends.

Ariana strutted into the back of the train where she always dat and found an empty compartment..
YUP this would doo just find. She walked into the compartment all by her lonesome and almost slammed the door she was just so excited to be going home.. SUMMER.. Damon smiled seeing Ariana running into a compartment, he followed after her and knocked as he opened it, "Mind if I join you?" He knew she wouldn't but still, better to ask than just run in, even with his girlfriend.

"damon!" she squeeled and got up and Tackle!Hugged him as he stood at the door "HAI!" she gave him a kiss "where have you Beeeennnn the last few weeks!?" it wasn't NEWTs or OWLs cause he was a 6th year.. so what was he DOINGGG realllyyyyy?? HMMM?

She eyed him for a second before a smile played on her lips, and then she sat down and patted the spot next to her "here here." she said waiting for him

Damon hugged her back with a smile, "Ari, I just saw you an hour ago at the Ravenclaw table." He chuckled, silly Ari. Then again it had only been a few minutes that they'd seen each other. He did miss her very much so.

He smiled and sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, "And I've missed you too, love."

It was time to go home! Jory would miss Hogwarts of course, but with the hectic year and OWLs, he was relieved to have the summer to himself.

As usual, he took a compartment at the back of the train. After settling in comfortably, he took out one of the usual crime novels from his trunk and began to read. It was going to be a long journey home.

"but that didn't count there were people around!" she meant like ALONE where they could talk about about stuffs you know and not be all weird and around filthy peasants. yeah Peasants. that was was her excuse. yeah. She leaned onto him as his arms wrapped around her like they usually did. "what have you been doing the past feew weeks?" she asked casually? and if he said taylor's name once.. *mental!grumble*

After the semi-confrontation with Beezus down the way a bit, Dylan was off to find a different place to sit. She was being difficult...and he just wanted to sit somewhere...and chill.

He really hadn't meant to insinuate she looked old. The glasses had been so incredibly hot...

The Slytherin Captain LOATHED female problems.

Entering the back booths, he was hardly paying attention we he just sat randomly...

West wasn't at ALL sad about people graduating. The ones that mattered he'd see again and the ones that didn't.... he didn't care about anyways. It wasn't like they were all DYING or something.

"Want some Jelly Slugs?" West offered the packet to Kat, completely oblivious to her overthinking.

"Did Theo tell you me and him are going to a Quidditch game this summer?" That meant, 'hi Captain' basically.

Also, "Want a jelly slug?"

Inside the compartment West was in, Kat took a seat in front of his seat so that they both face each other. She already felt awkward sitting between him and Theo in the Feast so she wouldn't let that happen anymore.

A few moments later, Captain entered the compartment. What was up with him? Oh course, PMS problems. With Bee. Again. Ugh, she hated these types of stuff. But, trying to be optimistic Kat was sure they'd make it up for the argument.

"Hi Captain," Kat greeted. But obviously she knew he wouldn't be able to acknowledge her since he was... you know... a bit down.

So... there was gotta be a reason Kat was sitting here and not alone. Which was definitely a big step because the blonde usually sat alone in the Train. But now she considered herself cool. And she was sitting with her Team... Theo though won't seem to appreciate it.

Uhmm. Jelly slugs? "Sure, Kat said as she accepted the pack from West. Well, she had to stop overthinking sooner or later. It totally took her out of topic, most of the time. The blonde opened the pack, took the slug out (weiiird), and ate it. At least something to distract her for overthinking again, I guess.

Theo wasn't far behind everyone else, he just had to linger behind because he had to do his shoe laces up. Ain't no tripping up going on here! He followed the others into one of the back cars, and caught what West said just in time as he sat down.

"Yep. We're gunna pick up ALL sorts of techniques." Oh, oh, oh.... and he'd have one of those, please.

The boy reached on over and pulled a jelly slug out from the packet. Nom. NOM. Oh, and Kat was here again. She was getting very lucky tonight. Hehehehe. Theo just smiled at her. Well actually, he kinda giggled at her.

So, he'd unknowingly sat with team members. Hmph. What were those odds? Were they just gravitating towards each other at this point?

At least they happened to be his favorites...And everyone knew as much.

Also, it didn't matter how ill he was with his Ravenclaw girlfriend. Odessa and Kinsley always made it all better.

"No, you hadn't mentioned it." Giving a smirk, Dylan took a proffered slug and popped it into his mouth. The squirming on his tongue wasn't as bothersome as he thought it might be. "Who are you guys going with?"

Oh...Hudson was in here? She'd been sitting with Odessa...quite alone. Hmm. The Captain might have been down...but this did not escape his attention. Not since he and Odessa had just had this discussion.

Interesting.

"Hudson."...because he greeted by way of surname. It was a Captain thing. "Excited about summer?"

...And yes, he totally was looking back and forth between West and the girl. In fact, it might have been a tad obvious, not that he was too bothered...

"You can lick em and throw them at the glass and they'll stick." West commented. As in, throw them on the window. They could even race slugs that way, or see whose slug stayed stuck the longest.

He grabbed a bright green one, sucked on it, and then flung it at the window, watching with satisfaction as it stuck there on the glass.

"Its gonna be BOSS." West agreed, all nods and smiles. The kid was clearly looking forward to it, ESPECIALLY because he was going with Theo, and ESPECIALLY because it was cool that Theo wanted him to go with.

West didn't mind at all that Theo helped himself... he was SUPPOSED to. And it saved West having to offer too.

"Theo got the tickets for his birthday, from 'Rora." West explained and then nodded at Theo to do the rest of the telling, on account of it was his present and West was just going to tag along.

His jelly slug was still stuck on the window. Awesome.

Kat looked at the thirteen year old boy and just blinked. Why was he even giggling? He's acting weird... weird especially with the girl's huge little crush on his best friend. Uhmmm right.

The girl just nodded at him. At least to keep the friend/formality going.

Hudson. Kat was so used to the surname-calling. She got her daily dose of that from Ariana Logan and the Captain himself. Oh, summer. Kat shrugged. "Maybe." She wasn't really sure. Since it'd be the first summer she'd have to spend with a dad. But oh wells, she had a mother.

And... Dylan was also looking at Kat and West. It was making her uncomfortable... and you know, the fact she's sitting with three boys in one compartment? Cassia Somerlad, save her.

Kat looked at West as he threw the jelly slug at the window. Honestly, the girl found it funny so she giggled. Weird kid. That was all. But Kat didn't want to throw one since she was... in a weird mood.

The blonde ate her first slug before trying to lick her second one and throwing it at the window. It was immature, yes, but whatever. She can be as young as she is. Being fifteen won't stop her from all of that.

And yes, she didn't care if she was judged. She already had a lot of criticism for liking someone younger than her.

As much as the jelly slug was tasty..... Theo really wanted a chocolate frog. Chocolate was more his thing, cos they felt a little less sugary on his teeth. And also, if he threw a chocolate frog at the window, he was pretty sure it'd beat those measly slugs. Just saying.

But oh. It suddenly reminded him that he has a dentist appointment next week.

Oh the joys of going home.

Theo nodded vigorously as West began explaining. "Yeah! Rora and her dad are taking us. It's Ireland and France that are playing. I dunno who I'm gonna support." The boy blabbed. He looked to West for a moment, because he would probably know who was better.

Or maybe he could just do what he does at school matches, to not support anyone and just watch the game.

Sounded good.

Theodore frowned and gave her the same look back.

Minerva had wondered off just to take a small walk and leave Ethan to mingle with his friends as well. She wasn't going to be one of those clinging girlfriends that didn't let him have time with his friends. As she walked she checked compartments for her friends. She really needed to speak with Ari, but if Taylor was in the same compartment as them she would not go in. She was done with that drama.

As she came up on a compartment she heard the voice she was looking for and stopped, "Hey lovebirds what are you two doing." Yes she was breaking up the alone time, but only for a few minutes they could go back to cuddling or kissing in a bit. "Ari, I just got my owl before we left the castle, I got the internship, so your stuck with me all summer!" She was bouncing with excitement. Yes that meant crazy best friend adventures she hoped. "Damon, can you put up with me all summer when your visiting Ariana?" She chuckled and sat across from the two.

A Minerva was going to head back to the middle of the train she noticed Jory reading and smiled, "Hey, you know are brains do need a little break. Jumping into books already?" She chuckled knowing as soon as she got to a book store and got new books she would be doing the same thing. She loved reading, but she could joke about it as well.

"So what are you reading?" Minerva said curiously, it didn't look like a magic books, so she wondered what muggle book he might have. She hadn't read a muggle book in awhile, that sounded like a great idea to be honest.

Dylan watched the two younger boys, amused with their easy interaction. It might have been weird...but they were the heart of his team. How lucky was he to have them? Hmph. Others had better start rightfully fearing them...FEARING...THEM...

Quidditch domination aside, though...

"You scored Quidditch tickets?" Yes, impressed look for you, bro....'Rora' was...Aurora, right? Rich's girlfriend...They'd be with her and her dad. It seemed legit. She'd make smart choices..."Awesome birthday gift." Dylan held his fist up for bumping.



Something was going on here. The boys were acting normal...but Hudson was being odd. Yes, she was getting the eye. Did Dylan sense someone messing with his Team Mojo...They functioned so well for a reason. What was this weird behavior?

Hmmmph. A distraction was in order, perhaps.

"Jelly slug racing?" That was legit...among his three fastest players. Meh, he was down. "Odessa...Show me how it's done."...because he'd never seen anyone do this.

Distractions equaled awesome.

Also...there was some strange tension that was weirding him out a bit. That needed to go away.

Stop frowning, Theo. Even if he was frowning, he still looked CUTE. Hmmph. Man cute. Baby cute. No other adverb. Just general cute.

Yeah Kat just looked at him. She didn't know what to do anyway. And she didn't want to quit it either. Were they having a staring contest?

Captain should stop eyeing her like that. Seriously. She felt like something was poking her to... I don't know... woman her up. So Kat half-ignored the staring and just acted normal and all go-with-the-flow. Honestly, there wasn't anything to be awkward about. Well, maybe a few reasons but she had to act normal right? This was her team, part of her extended family.

Now for some jelly slug racing. Maybe West could, you know, demonstrate first. So Kat just nodded at what Captain said and looked at West eagerly. Maybe brush off the 'omg he's so cute yay' feels from inside so she could just be herself. For now, yes.

"Well, it was still time together." He smiled at her, "But it has been a while since it was just the two of us," Damon kissed her lightly, "And nothing to great," Damon shrugged, "Talked to..." He paused, not wanting to say it was Taylor. Though all they did was talk and him tell her about her problems with Brodie, "With a friend."

He looked at Min as she just walked in, no knock or anything... rude "Hey Min..." He gave a small smile, "We're just talking and catching up since we haven't spent much time together lately." Trying to give a hint of them wanting to be alone, "But sure I can, seeing how I'm not going to be here all June." In other words, it was Rowan she'd have to worry about, not him.

Bliss practically skipped down the corridor of the train, in search of a free compartment. SKIP. SKIP. SKIP. She was in a much better mood than she had been in earlier, and wasn't exactly sure why. Abruptly, she stopped as she realized that while skipping, she'd been swinging Twitch's cage back and forth and her little owl was hooting unhappily. OOOPS. She lifted up the cage to eye level and told the owl that she was sorry, before carrying on to find a compartment.

Urgh. Why were they all full!?

Eventually she found one that was empty and the slid in, quietly shutting the door behind her. She placed Twitch's cage gently down on the seat and sat my the window, looking at the view. It was perfect, it really was. BEAM. Slowly, sat reached her back and brought her guitar onto her lap and strummed. What to play. OOOOH.

So a free compartment? That was hard to find. And he didn't really want to disturb anyone, especially when the people on this end of the train seemed to be really unfamiliar and, well, they were with other people. That would be awkward, no?

... Everything was awkward with him. He didn't really understand that.

But back to the compartment search which... was not going as well as he hoped. Maybe it was because he was slightly late. Yeah... that. And all the compartments had been filled up by people who were... excited about the holidays? Some people were even SINGING! How awesome was that?

Oh... but... he knew that voice... He was pretty sure he had sat by the lake and heard this girl sing to him earlier in the year. And... hadn't he walked in on her singing as well, before? When they were going to Hogwarts?

Grinning, Alec walked stealthily along the corridor and peered into a compartment. GRIN. It was HER! The fourteen year old slowly opened the compartment door and squeeeeeeeeeeezed himself in, letting the door shut behind him. He then lay down on the seats opposite the girl and grinned some more, watching her play.

This was EXACTLY like the journey to Hogwarts. GRIN GRIN. NOD NOD.

Vickers managed to get his and Louisa's things out of the boat and into the luggage cart before he dragged the pup-buggy and the birdcage through the narrow train corridor. Louisa's silent treatment along with his guilt was wearing him down so much so that the pets in their carriers can sense their Master wasnt his usual self to carry-on annoying him like they're used to. So today they were unusually behaved. Perhaps the one good thing from all of this.

He found an empty compartment and slid the door open, pulling the pup-buggy in before hoisting the birdcage on the luggage rack nearest the window. He paused for a moment looking at Dolly, pondering if he would let the cockatoo out....

I'm coming home.

Yes, that's right. Here I coooooome, she thought cheerfully. It wouldn't be long now until she would see her family again, she thought as she was playing. Tianna had already said how much she'd missed her, as had her parents. She'd had endless letters from her parents. And she'd had a couple from Sarah and Dylan, asking her how she was, because they'd heard all about what had happened during this term. Hmmm.

Bliss finished singing and put down her guitar. While she had been singing, she had had her eyes close and when she opened them again, she got the surprised of her life. ALEC. Oh, Alec. SUPER MEGA BEAM. "Hello, Alec!" She said happily. How ironic, Bliss had been walk in on by Alec when she was singing on the journey there. OH, fun times. BUT, the first time the train stopped and that was followed by her breaking her wrist.

Not good at all.
