Tay grimaced, "Oh... hmmm maybe a 'claw then... I do recall you liking us." She smirked, "Since you dated Violet and me." Taylor laughed and smiled at him, "I dont blame you... I mean we are amazing." Tay faked a hair flip.

Maxwell laughed at her display. "I wouldn't mind another claw either...why do you have one in mind?" He asked curiously.

Tay shrugged, "Not really but it would be easier on me... obviously." She laughed and smiled.

Maxwell nodded. "Obviously. Like i said i wouldn't mind, but it would be nice to have someone to hang out in the common room with." HE smiled. "Excited to go back?" He asked her. He knew he asked her earlier but it was nice to ask her just them, he wondered if she was worried about this being Damon's second to last year.

She shook her head, "No... I dont want to go back yet..." The worry showed on her face, "What about you?" Taylor twisted her locket and started getting antsy.

Maxwell sighed and shrugged. "I don't know...On one hand no, i'm not looking forward to going back to all of mine and Min's old places but on the other i think a fresh start is what i need with all that's happened this summer.." He said and knew why she didn't. "What about you? Just Damon?"

She grimaced and hugged him, "I hope all goes okay..." Tay nodded, "Yeah, just Damon..." Taylor sighed.

Maxwell hugged her back. "We'll get through it together. I promise." He said smiling a little. "Besides you've still got him here for two terms don't think about when he's gone, think about how he's here now." He said hoping to cheer her up.

After leaving the food trolley and actually deciding to buy a few liquorice wands, Penelope, with her small cat on her shoulder, made her way down the corridor again, looking for a compartment with someone in it that she knew - not including the people who had been in the one she had been in earlier. That was the one compartment she was avoiding for the rest of the trip, and possibly at least two of its occupants for the rest of the year day. She didn't want to even think about them either, so she turned her thoughts to looking for a new compartment.

Finally, towards the back of the train, she found a compartment with two people she definitely recognized - Coul and that odd Ravenclaw she'd met last year. So she opened the compartment door and, while entering, asked, "Mind if I sit in here?" She would even share the liquorice wands if they wanted.

Tay nodded and looked up at him. She attempted a smile. "Okay... I will try..."

Sophie found an empty compartment and went to see sit by the window waving goodbye to her parents. Her mother looked really proud of her daughter, while her father looked around him nervously. He was a muggle, so this was has new to him has it was to Sophie. Sophie was really nervous, she didn't know anyone. She hoped to she could make friends quickly.

Maxwell smiled. "It'll be a fun year...I hope." He said determined to make it better. "Maybe i'll even try to get to class this year."

Alexa skipped down the train. She couldn't believe she had talked her parents into letting her come to Hogwarts. She looked around to see if she saw anyone that might want to have her around. She opened a compartment and went and sat down in the empty compartment. Looking at the window she wondered if it would be fun at Hogwarts or if she would wish she would have just stayed at home and stuck with the private lessons she was getting.

Tay nodded, "You are right... and you better?" She laughed and smiled.

Maxwell laughed. "No, promises..but i'll try..you never know maybe i'll meet a girl in class." He said thinking he wanted a girl like Min...and Min liked classes.

Maxwell noticed a girl he didn't recognize, which Hogwarts was a big school and there was no way to know everyone, but he couldn't remember seeing her before. So either she was a firstie or a transfer. He knocked on the door to her compartment. "Hello, my name's Maxwell...I don't think we've met before..is it all right if i join you?"

Alexa looked up and gave a small smile, "Sure" she wasn't sure why a boy would want to sit with her, but whatever. "My names Alexa, nice to meet you Maxwell." She twisted her fingers together not knowing what else to say. "So where are your other friends?" does he have any friends Alexa wondered, but then decided that maybe he was just trying to be nice. She gave him another smile.

Tay smiled, "Maybe." She glanced at the girl, "I am Tay." She looked back at Maxwell.

Maxwell took the seat across from hers. "Nice to meet you too, Alexa..My friends are all about here somewhere, I just don't want to see some of them and I'll see others at the feast." He said with a kind smile. "So, first year or transfer?" He asked reading her well enough to tell she'd never been to Hogwarts before.

Damon was walking down the corridor and smiled when he saw Taylor and Maxwell, he poked his head in, "Hey you two mind if I..." Then he saw the other girl, "Oh, sorry... Three, mind if I join?" He gave a kind smile, "Damon, by the way."

Alexa looked at him.. hmm strange they just got to the train and he already didn't want to see people. That didn't seem like this would be fun at all if people didn't like each other that much. "Oh well I'm a second year, but I was getting private lessons before here." Alexa looked down and pulled her puff out of his hiding place petting him. "So do you like it at Hogwarts? My parents didn't really want me to come, but I talked them into it. I hated the private lessons they were so boring."

Alexa smiled at the girl, "Hi I'm Alexa" she then looked away a bit nervous. One was okay, but two new people at once. This is why she wanted to come to school though to meet knew people, right? So Alexa took a deep breath and pet her puff trying to act calm and cool.


Oh now another person. Alexa felt like such an outsider. "Oh hi, I'm Alexa" this one was much older then her and she didn't know how to act around him. "Maybe I should just go, I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation."

Dylan looked up as someone called his name.. well his nickname so that meant it was someone that he knew or had just met, he saw that it was that girl that had yelled at him for stealing her cat.. "Oh hey.. dont-steal-my-cat girl.." he chuckled

Umm what was her name?.. ahh yes Nerida "Sorry I meant Nerida. Yeah it is a big coincidence.. or have you been following me to see if I was after your cat again?" at that moment her cat jumped onto him "No worries its ok.. well you cant say I took your cat.. cause you saw she came to me" he chuckled again

He saw her looking around before asking her a question "Sure you can sit with me.. Sky? nice name.. suits her" he smiled as he looked at the cat.. he hadnt seen one like this before.. so it was kinda awesome to see her "So.. you in your third year or something?" cause she kinda looked that much older than him.

Maxwell nodded. "Ohh okay. I love it here, honestly it feels more like home than my dad's house..Scotland is so boring compared to London! Where are you from?" He asked "Why wouldn't that want you at Hogwarts? It's awesome...I mean don't think Just cause i don't want to talk to a few people it's bad, it's just been a weird summer for me." He said sure this girl didn't want the hairy details.

Maxwell smiled at Damon, as much as they'd hated each other in the past Maxwell was really starting to like him. "Hey, Come on in, I was just telling Tay, that Ariana and I are no more and now she has to set me up...and then...Bouncers..." He said recognizing the puff. His heart breaking a little seeing something of Min's but he kept it to himself. "Bouncers, here brought, Alexa in..." He said acting as if he were fine.

Damon shook his head, "Not at all Alexa." He gave a polite smile, "I'm just a common friend of Maxwell's..." He smiled at Taylor, "And the other one unfortunately has the displeasure of calling me her boyfriend."

Coulson wasn't sure what to think about this statement. He'd met mean kids before, like Penelope's cousin and a bunch of other kids he'd rather not waste time thinking about. So, why did he think Hogwarts would be any different? Though, he supposed he could blame his mother and her love for traveling. It made him comfortable with just about every mode of transportation.

Which, he ought to not be considering his mother wasn't there to keep an eye on him while he slept. But now he was far from sleeping. There was a girl in the compartment that he needed to entertain. It was his job honestly and one that he took very seriously.

"I guess you're right, yeah. I should.. be more careful. But i don't think I can sleep right now." He nodded. Huh. "You're very thoughtful. Does the very thoughtful lady have a name?" Coul threw her his most winning smile.

His head turned automatically toward the door as it was opened. But who appeared in the doorway, was a rather pleasant surprise. "Penelope," he grinned toward her, using that same smile he used on the other girl. "O of course you can sit here. I mean- so long as it's alright with...?" he waited for her to input her name. He'd always had a hard time remembering girls' names.

Alexa made a little face when he said boyfriend, but he was older so she shrugged it off. It was okay for them if they wanted that, but it wasn't for her at least for now. She then looked at Maxwell, "Well they are just a bit over protective. I'm the only child, so they don't let me out of their sight much." she sighed knowing they were just trying to be good parents, but it was annoying she was twelve and didn't have many friends, because she was never allowed out. Then she looked a little confused, did she say her puffs name, "How do you know my puff?" she was sure she didn't say the name, but maybe she did and forgot.
