Arabella-Marie laughed at Tay and said "Yeah my dad was surprised when i asked if i could get a tattoo but he said that i was of age now so i could get a tattoo if you wanted"
Tay chuckled and smiled, "Nice." She nodded, "I got my piercing done last summer and my mom flipped..." Taylor winked, "But my aunt had it done for me." Tay smirked.

Logan was feeling rather mopey right now as he sat by himself on a bench located at the very back of the train. So far he hadn't seen Ness once on the train and that made him sad. He hadn't even seen her since they met in Diagon Alley and she helped him out.
Sighing, he sprawled out so that he was lying down across the bench, his feet facing the window. Maybe he would take a nap now and see Ness when he arrived at the castle. There was supposed to be a feast later that night anyway.
Crowds. As always. Ariadne sighed as she moved slowly, trying to find a compartment. It was impossible to spot anyone through the sea of people, so when she'd had enough, the girl dashed into the first compartment she could find and dropped Pluto's cage on a seat. Only then did she notice the only other occupier.
'Gwendolyn H. Greene!' she said excitedly and hugged her best friend. 'You knew I prefer the back cars.' Ari was impressed. 'And hello there, Jinx.' she greeted Gwen's pet. Luckily she hadn't sat on him.
'I have exciting news! I found my mum's diary from the year before I was born!' the girl said without any introduction. Together with the photo Gwendolyn had found in her parents' album, she now had a few pieces of the puzzle. 'The only problem is that it's in code.' Yes. There had to be a glitch.
'But there must be a reason why my best friend is in Ravenclaw.' Ariadne grinned like the Cheshire Cat. With Gwen's help, she might just be able to track down her real father. 'What do you think of it?' Ari asked her bestie, showing her a random page from the stolen diary.
'Diary aside, what do you think about Jory?' she changed the subject very abruptly and closed the door. Not everyone needed to know their business. 'I like his new haircut.' she added, dreamily, very unlike her usual self.
Since there was no sign of her best friend yet, the fifth year drew her attention away from the door, looking for a moment out the window. Ah. She couldn’t wait to get back to Hogwarts. This year was going to be so much better, now that Ariadne had returned. Of course, OWLs weren’t something she was waiting for, but how good could it feel to be done with those by the end of this year?!
In the next moment, Gwen heard someone call her name. Her full name. Raising an eyebrow, the fifth year drew her attention away from the window in order to greet her friend properly. ‘Hi Ari’ No doubt it was her bestie… who else would have the slightest hint of what her middle name could be? Smh. But she wasn’t the only one happy to see the Gryffindor. ‘Meyow’, Jinx looked curiously at the girl before his eyes fell on Pluto. His mate was back.
Exciting news?! Truth be told, Gwendolyn hadn’t expected her friend to ask one of those boring ‘how are you’ questions, but what Ariadne said definitely surprised her.
Blink. Blink.
A diary? A coded one? This made Gwen’s eyes go wiiiiiide. ‘Of course!’, she beamed, eagerly waiting for Ari to pass her the diary. She only gave a quick look at the page her bestie showed her, and realized that the maximum number was 9. Interesting… But what was Ari saying? Against her will, Gwendolyn raised her eyes from the interesting diary and looked back at her friend. ‘Heh… thanks’, she showed a smug at her comment about being a Ravenclaw.
‘Well…’ Eh. What did she think of it? ‘First of all- how did you find it?’, she raised an eyebrow at her friend. Not that she woldn’t have searched in the whole house if she were Ari… Besides- she did look through her mother’s old photo albums, so mehhh. She shouldn't be talking. ‘I think I can crack the code!’, the Ravenclaw nodded, examining the page. ‘But it will take some time. I have a few guesses so far…’, she mused, remembering one of the Arithmancy lessons… the one when Hadley brought a box, which would only open if you got the code right. Maybe watching her dad work for a while would finally pay off? Hopefully this wasn’t THAT complicated. Sneaky, Ava Marchbanks…
Gwen was practically stuck there, examining the diary. After a while, she decided not to be rude, and listen to what Ari had to say. Jory? What about him?‘He’s ummm’ That question was so out of the blue that Gwen was completely oblivious to where Ari was going with this. ‘He’s a good friend’ Maybe Ariadne didn’t even want to know what she thought. Was it just to bring up the subject? Mehhh. Gwendolyn tried to convince herself that this wasn’t that much of a big deal. She glimpsed out the window, but as she heard her Gryffindor friend say something, she immediately looked back at her.
Errrr.
He had a new haircut? ‘I haven’t noticed…’, she started saying, but suddenly stopped. She would get it in…

‘What’s your point?’Staaaaaare. For once in her life, Gwendolyn couldn’t figure what was going on with her friend. Merlin’s beard. How did they even end up discussing Jory’s haircut?!? Gwen would surely have a reason to be suspicious about it. Hmph. Jory and his new haircut, she imitated Ariadne with a high pitched voice in her head. What was going on?!

That's right, Theodore's new attitude for second year was to be more nice to his current friends, and new people.
...
Apart from REALLY annoying Ravenclaws.
With his trunk neatly tossed in the middle of an empty compartment, ready to trip up anyone who thought of joining him, Theo lay face down on the couch. It smelled like Hogwarts. WAHOO.
Elodie had nowhere to really sit, for the pure fact that she didn't have many friends and preferred to keep herself to herself, which was definitely how she had spent her first year at school. After leaving Gemini out of his cage, and sitting in her hand, the youngster had started down the train corridor to find somewhere to sit that was either empty or barely occupied.
She had her cupcake backpack on her back where it should be, after being assisted by that very very nice girl at the station. Kurumi, was it? Yes, yes, that was definitely it.
Aha! She grinned to herself as she came across a compartment with just one person in it - who she noted, was lying down. Weird. Opening up the compartment door, Elodie slipped in and closed the door, making sure that nobody was following her, before stumbling backwards and landed bottom first on something hard. A trunk.
Where was this place, or someone that knew where this place was?
Pouting, Nessie wondered onto the train trying to find either Kurumi, Louisa or anybody that could help her get to the Prefects Compartment. Straight. That's the only way she kept going, hoping she'd get to what she needed. Her luggage was heavy, and carrying a bouncy pygmy puff in her brown bag, was no help to this.
Sigh. The red head dropped her luggage and stopped for a moment. She looked to her left and then to her right, almost squealing at what she then saw. It looked like Logan! EEP! She had wanted to see him all summer, but well things got busy and so she hadn't had time.
Now smiling, she opened the compartment door and giggled as she saw Logan taking up a full row of seats. Clearly somebody thought now was a good time to take a nap...but Ness thought differently.
"Sorry!" Silvia said, not having meant to startle the girl. She took a step forward into the compartment and held out her hand to help her up. Once she was on her feet, she glanced at the trunk on the floor before her.
Silvia wasn't very strong herself; her father had been around to help her get her trunk on the train her first year; but he had to leave before she boarded today. Luckily, she had an easy way of getting the trunk up on the rack. She wasn't entirely sure whether or not they were actually allowed to use magic on the train, but she had done so last year to take care of her own trunk, and nobody had stopped her. But just to be safe, Silvia glanced over her shoulder into the corridor and, not seeing any adults or prefects, pulled out her wand. With a "Wingardium Leviosa," she levitated the trunk onto the shelf above the seats. Hoping the girl wouldn't mind her sharing the compartment, she did the same for her own trunk before quickly stowing her wand.
Turning back to face the other girl, she introduced herself. "I'm Silvia. Nice to meet you Ari."
Taking the girl hand, Ari smiled at her as she helped her back onto her feet. She then watched as the girl looked over her shoulder, probably looking for those kinds with badges or something. Then, she drew out her wand and started levitating their trunks right onto the shelf. Ariella stood and stared in awe...
"Oh wow! That was fantastic!" She said as a smile grew on her face, "Nice to meet you too Silvia! Pretty name by the way! What year are you in?"
It was pretty obvious she wasn't a first year like herself, she had just done magic to prove it, but Ari was still curious!
Elijah entered the train and took a real whiff of the place. It smelt of sweat, panic and excited first years. Yuccck. He turned his head round to look at Kurumi, "It's good to be back on this thing, even if it has only been a couple of months."
The two had entered the train at the back cars end where a whole bunch of his fellow classmates were rushing about as they claimed compartments with their friends and new ickles tried to find available seats somewhere.
"So, before we were rudely interrupted. Did you have a nice summer? Did you and Lewis do anything fun?" Elijah didn't bother to hide the slight distaste that showed when he said the Hufflepuff Prefect's name. Elijah couldn't even remember why exactly he disliked the boy, but he did. Plus, he was ugly. Well, ugly in comparison to Elijah.

She shrugged. "I don't know about favorite, but I do quite like them. They're smart." Micha had trouble picking favorites, so generally she tried not to. She liked most animals, and most colors, and most activities- most everything, really. She couldn't just pick something and stay with it; variety is the spice of life, as they say.

Well, ugly in comparison to Elijah.
Following Elijah aboard the Hogwarts Express, her badge still in her pants' pocket for the time being and couldn't help but smile slightly at his words. Good to be back? Of course it was. Hogwarts was like home...but it was also very sobering as well. "Yeah...one last trip to Hogwarts..." she said, trailing off a bit and looking aimlessly out the window for a moment. "Uh, sorry...I-I promised myself I wouldn't be depressed this train ride."
Kurumi continued to follow him down the crowded corridor, getting bumped now and again by passing students as they ran about like wild zoo animals. Just as long as no one tried to climb anything like the actual train Kurumi would let it go. She was too tired from all that first year insanity to deal. Once or twice she ended up bouncing into Elijah thanks to a few good hits from other's shoulders and trunks.
"Summer? It was...good," she nodded. If not emotionally exhausting as well. "Treyen came to visit me in Japan, he used to go to Hogwarts." Hearing Lewis' name caused Kurumi's cheeks to intensify in color instantly. Every moment with Lewis was fun really, well...minus what had happened before they had finally said those three words to each other in the prefect's bathroom last term. That time had not been fun. But this summer...staying at his home and meeting his family...that had been...incredible. And for a lot of reasons. "Y-Yes," she managed to spit out before her blushing overtook her completely.
Kurumi took another step forward and heard something crunch under her foot, which is why she looked down to see the crumbled up mess of the school's gossip magazine. Oh, Merlin...issues out already? She should have known. Kurumi only gave the paper a quick glance over when....wait....huh? "You...have your eye on me? What does that mean?" Like he was watching out for her like how Treyen did?

Gwen would surely have a reason to be suspicious about it. Hmph. Jory and his new haircut, she imitated Ariadne with a high pitched voice in her head. What was going on?!
As soon as she had mentioned the diary Gwen looked like she was scheming in her mind. At first she thought the Ravenclaw would accuse her of stealing, but the only thing she could sense in Gwen's tone was mild curiosity. 'It's one of the perks that come with my mum moving away to France. As soon as I got back I turned the house upside down.' Not very subtle, but her grandparents didn't seem to be bothered. 'And I found this in the attic, in a box with my mum's old stuff.' Nothing else of interest though.
'You can?!?' Ariadne got really excited. It was one of the rare moments when she lost all her composure. 'Hear that, Jinx? And Pluto?'And the whole train?'Gweeeeen can crack the codeeee!' she sang. But then she calmed down. It would take some time. 'Oh.' What did she expect? 'You can have it for a while then.' the Gryffindor handed it over for good. 'Just...you know...don't lose it. And don't show it to other people.'
'That he is.' Ariadne nodded when Gwen described Jory as a good friend. 'And a good listener. And quite funny. Did I mention tall? And hardworking. Loyal too, like every Hufflepuff. He didn't even hate me for not writing to him for a whole year. Where else would you find someone like that?' Ari rambled on, failing to notice Gwen's expression.
'How could you not notice?!' The boy didn't get a new haircut every day! What was the point? 'Whatever do you mean?' Couldn't they just sit there and talk about boys? Wait...since when were they doing that? Was she....nah, impossible. Or is it?!
'He was extremely cute when I kissed him on the cheek this summer, got all red.' Ariadne continued. Not the most perspicaceous of people, but even so she felt Gwen's imminent exasperation. 'Let's make a deal.' she grinned mischeviously. 'I'll stop the minute you tell me your middle name.' She had been trying to discover that for ages. 'Till then, I must tell you I think I'm in...' Better leave the sentence open. Gwen's last chance to confess.
'Love with him.' she added after a few seconds of silence. 'But I don't know how he feels about me and I need someone to find that out.' Ari stared pointedly at Gwen. The Ravenclaw was trapped! Even Pluto covered his forehead with one of his paws.

The more Theo thought about the smell of Hogwarts, the more it confused him. What did Hogwarts even smell like? It felt kinda... oldish to him. Like, old people everywhere. It wasn't clear why that was a nice smell for him, but Theo loved it. It was just a Hogwarts smell, yup.
Anyway... what was this commotion?
Theo bolted upright, with a frown already placed on his face as someone had actually joined him. And, oh... they tripped over the trunk. Well, "It's a big trunk. Maybe you should've looked where you were going." Theodore told the girl plainly. Not to be rude or anything. Damn! Speaking of being rude, this was NOT a good way to make friends, which was what he wanted to do this term.
"Do you, uh... need help up?" Cos he didn't really want to touch a girl. At all.

Alec strolled along the corridor, trying to find a good enough compartment for him, his sweets and maybe his friends as well. Yeah, some company would be great. Eating sweets alone wasn't... well, it wasn't really nice. And he had so many that he really couldn't finish all these sweets by himself. Unless... he shared with Messy later on.
... Nah.
Speaking of Messy, where was that dude?! Now owls or any contact whatsoever during the summer. And he, Alec, really wanted to meet Messy's younger sister who... was allergic to candy. Yeah, that confused Alec. And it made him sad. The girl, Candice or whatever her name was, didn't get to have any sweets. At all. Not even if she was really unhappy and wanted some to make herself feel better. That was... sad.
But... on a brighter note... there was a spare compartment! "YES!" he whispered loudly, pulling the door open and stepping into the area. Awesome. The young Hufflepuff placed his bag in the luggage rack before seating himself down in a seat by the window. Now... time for sweets! BIG GRIN!

Ella was growing tired of sitting in one spot. She had been up and down the corridor of the train numerous times already and she was still feeling restless. It was probably because she was missing Hogwarts a lot and wanted to be there nowish and also because she was trying to avoid one Harvey Watson.

Really, honestly, Elodie had never seen someone lay down on a seat like that. She really hadn't. But whatever, if that was how this kid slept at night. She wouldn't tell him he was weird, that was mean. But...she thought he was weird. Yep. She was pretty sure he was very weird, and if he asked her to lie down on the seat too, then she was GONE. And running to find another compartment, because she was pretty sure that she did not need to ACTUALLY do that.
Unless she was being paid.
Aw, he was sitting up now! Ha. But he was being rude. And that wasn't fair on Elodie. All she done was fall over HIS stuff. HMPF. "Maybe you should have put somewhere else. That is a fire hazard, and a danger to society! Society, being me!" Because she was now injured. INJURED. With a sore bottom that probably needed ice on it later.
"No." She pouted at him though, putting her toad on the seat beside him, and then moving to sit on the trunk PROPERLY. Crossing her legs and everything. ^___^ "I'm Elodie."

Good, Ace was partial to birds. Hopefully he wouldn't mind Norman much then.
"I suppose so," she agreed. Though to be honest, Micha hadn't really been keeping track of what they did and did not have in common. It was more of a subconscious thing.
She strained to hear as the train rolled into the station. Micha nodded. "Sure," she called over the noise. At least her worst fears of sitting alone on the train ride had been dissuaded. She rolled her trunk towards the platform, leading the two of the towards the train. Eventually they ended up in the back of the train where Micha snagged an empty compartment and heaved her trunk into the overhead rack, setting Norman's cage on the floor.
"How old are you again?" she asked Ace in the midst of her arranging and settling in. It was made quite clear that she liked things neat.

Alec plopped a sweet in his mouth and stared at the spot on the wall of the compartment opposite him. His mind wasn't on the wall of the compartment though; it was elsewhere. Like the fact that he was going to be a third year at Hogwarts! A third year! It felt like yesterday he was coming into Hogwarts for the first time and was finding out new information about himself. ... Actually, he was still doing that last bit.
But... third year could be a good year, right? Sure, it hasn't started off that way so far but... things could still get better. He was going to be fourteen! He was growing up! And he could be cool and awesome one day! Like-
KNOCK KNOCK!
... WHAT?! Alec jumped and blinked over at the compartment door. Oh... Ells. Alec smiled at his fellow third year as she walked in and spoke. "Hey Ells!" Yes! This was perfect! He had some candy and... Ells liked candy! Yeah! Pity he didn't have any ice cream with him, though. That would have made this better. "Erm... yeah, sure!" Awesome! Now he had a friend to sit with! He sat up a bit and ruffled his hair before asking, "You want some sweets, Ells?"
"Thanks," said Silvia. "It's really a very easy charm to learn." She turned towards the door and grabbed Ptolemy's owl cage from where she had set it down, and used the seat as a boost to put the cage on the shelf next to her trunk. Then she pulled a few owl treats out from her shoulder bag and tossed them in to Ptolemy, who, as usual, remained mostly quiet. Silvia turned back around and sat down.
"I'm a third year," she said. "And what about you? I'm guessing you're a new student? Excited to be going to Hogwarts? Oh, and that's Ptolemy, by the way," she said, pointing up to the owl overhead, just in case the younger girl wondered.

Had she startled him? Ella hoped not...though she had noticed the little jump. Maybe he had ants in his pants or something... O__O EEP. Actually, that would be quite bad. Maybe startling him was a better thing. She smiled when he said he wanted company. "Yeah? Cool."
The second year walked over to the seat opposite her housemate and sat down, nodding enthusiastically when he offered sweets. "Sure. I'd like that." Anyone who offered Ella food was okay in her books. Mhm! Oh...and she had some to offer Alec as well. "Here...I have some gummy worms...somewhere..." She had shoved the bag in her pocket and was reaching her hand in, squirming as she tried to pull it out. "Got it!" She said triumphantly, holding the bag in the air with a smile. "Want some?" Who was SHE kidding? Of course he did! Who didn't like gummy worms?!
"So um...how was the rest of your summer? Did you have fun? Eat lots of ice cream?" She asked curiously, leaning back in her seat and getting comfortable. She hoped his summer had been really good. She hoped all of her friends had had awesome summers. That was how she figured things should be.

"BOO!" she said hoping he'd get a fright.
Logan was enjoying his nice peaceful nap until someone decided to be rude and scare the crap out of him.
"AAAH!" he screamed out, jumping a little. That was what he got for deciding to rest his eyes and trusting the people on here to leave him in peace.
Managing to gain his composure, he spotted who the perpetrator was and of course turned red. Why did she have to do that to him? UGH!

Awarlesta looked in compartment after compartment. Well, this is harder then I expected...
She started to panic a little, but Manolo's words echoed in her memory. She sighed, I need friends.

Ari made a note to herself to remember that spell. It would be increadibly useful on the train ride back, because Ari was sure that it would be even heavier. Silvia turned and brought out a beautiful owl and fed it a few treats. Awww! It really was a very pretty owl...
"Yup! I'm a first year! I'm super excited, I can't wait to get there and get sorted!" Ari said bouncing in her seat a bit, "Hi Ptolemy! This is Archer!"
Ari bent over and grabbed Archer's cage that sat at her feet and set him on her lap. The tawny owl screached loudly and shuffled in his cage. He still seemed a bit shaken up from the events that had happened earlier...

Alec was secretly hoping that Ella hadn't noticed the way he jumped a little. Sure, Ells wasn't one to make fun of him but if she did... and felt like mocking him in any way... Wait, what was he thinking?! Ells wasn't one to mock him! Not at all! GRIN. ... Awesome, now she would think everything's okay and he wasn't weird. SCORE!
"Awesome!" he said, holing out the bag to her. Except... it was pretty obvious. The day Ella Bishop refuses ice cream or gummy worms would be the day... the day... well, it would be a bad day. A horrible day. A day where everything goes downhill. Yeah... that day should never come up. ... Wait, Ells had gummy worms?! Alec couldn't help but grin at the girl as she fished out the bag and offered him some. Awesome, she was. Really. "Yeah!" he said, reaching into the bag and taking out some, "Thanks!"
... Summer? "Summer was... it was pretty great!" he said, shuffling in his seat slightly, "Erm... I mostly stayed at home and played video games and ate lots of ice cream!" Yeah... he really needed those things over the summer. "How about you? Enjoy your summer?"
"You should of heard the lectures when she found out at the start of summer." She sighed and grimaced.
Erick stepped into the train and approached the back of the train, seeming to be looking for someone. He was still wearing his gothic black jacket zipped open enough to expose his bare chest. His eyees narrowed maliciously whenever a kid bumped into him.
