Arabella-Marie took the first empty compartment at the back of the train she was sad that this was her last train journey but she was looking forward to the new year and hoped that she would do something that would help her go down in Hogwarts history

Taylor was wandering the train and so happened to see her friend, Arabella-marie. Tay smiled and popped her head into the compartment, "Need company?"
Arabella-Marie looked up and smiled at Tay and said "Yeah sure i could do with some company on my last train journey to school"
Her eyes widened, "Oh my gosh! I totally forgot that you were a seventh this year!" She rushed in and hugged her friend then smiled at her. "Well, I am glad to keep you company then." Tay laughed and sat down.

Tay smiled, "Anytime, Arabella." She laughed, "Yeah, I bet you are." Taylor nodded and stretched, yawning. Train rides always made her sleepy. Tay glanced out of the corridor to look for Damon then glanced back at her friend, "So how was your summer?"

Arabella-Marie smiled at her friend and lifted up her top a bit to show off her tattoo that she got and said "What do you think Tay"
Nettie had yet to find anyone she had recognized, but instead kept running into first years wherever she went. Entering into another compartment in search of a friendly and familiar face, Nettie realized she didn't care now if she knew these people or not. She was going to sit there with them and enjoy the train ride to school.
"Hello!" She said with a smile as she entered into the compartment. "Do you mind if I join you?" She asked.

Ariella despretly need to get rid of her truck, if was simply just to heavy. She had managed to drag it toward the back of the train, where there seemed to be less student and found an empty compartment, but now she was faced with a new problem. Ariella seemed to be to short, and weak, to get her truck up on the shelf...
"Great, now what am I supposed to do with this stupid thing," She muttered under her breath and kicked her truck with the toe of her foo...and it hurt!
"Owie!!" Ari squeeled, hopping around on one foot around in the empty compartment...merlin forbid if someone were to see her!
Another term, another year, another adventure, definitely a new life.
Erin was kind of scared, but at the same time excited for she would see her lovely friends again. Literally live with them, like what she did with Elise the entire summer. Erin started looking for an empty compartment, 'cause she lost Elise from the platforms, maybe her brother or her sister said goodbye to her?
Posy was cupped in her arms, she was too small but that adds to her cuteness. She wasn't fashionable today, like always just because it wasn't winter. Haha.

On previous trips to and from Hogwarts, Silvia had always sat either in the front or the middle of the train. But this time she made her way to the back for a change, hoping it would be a little less crowded. She dragged her things behind her, peeking into compartments as she passed, trying to decide where to sit.
As she walked along, Silvia thought she heard a noise coming from a compartment just ahead. She stopped at the door and glanced in to see a younger student she didn't recognize, possibly a first year. Figuring it wouldn't hurt to have some company for the long ride, she decided to speak up. "Do you need some help?" she asked.

Jory took the first empty compartment he came across. As usual he sat in the back compartments. He stowed his trunk. "This thing seems to be getting heavier every year,'' he thought as he wrestled it into position. The boy double checked that his owl's and pygmy puff's cages were shut properly before plopping down onto one of the seats.
He settled back and waited for the train to begin it's long journey. Jory was looking forward very much to his fifth year and also couldn't wait to see his friends again.

As Ari was hopping around in the compartment, she had failed to notice that girl who had come up behind at the doors of the compartment and when she spoke, she startled Ari.
"AHH!" Ari shouted as she spun in surprise, lost her footing, and fell right on her bum. She groaned, not even attempting to get back up on her feet, instead she looked up and saw the girl who had spooked her. She looked older, maybe by a few years, but not by too much.
"Oh gosh you scared me! Didn't see you come up!" Ariella said as she processed what the girl had said to her, "Um well, I was trying to get my trunk up on the shelf, but its to heavy for me. If you think you can manage it, I would appreciate it! I'm Ari by the way!"

"Sorry!" Silvia said, not having meant to startle the girl. She took a step forward into the compartment and held out her hand to help her up. Once she was on her feet, she glanced at the trunk on the floor before her.
Silvia wasn't very strong herself; her father had been around to help her get her trunk on the train her first year; but he had to leave before she boarded today. Luckily, she had an easy way of getting the trunk up on the rack. She wasn't entirely sure whether or not they were actually allowed to use magic on the train, but she had done so last year to take care of her own trunk, and nobody had stopped her. But just to be safe, Silvia glanced over her shoulder into the corridor and, not seeing any adults or prefects, pulled out her wand. With a "Wingardium Leviosa," she levitated the trunk onto the shelf above the seats. Hoping the girl wouldn't mind her sharing the compartment, she did the same for her own trunk before quickly stowing her wand.
Turning back to face the other girl, she introduced herself. "I'm Silvia. Nice to meet you Ari."

After an extremely dull summer, with his dull family, evil siblings, and boring country, Theodore was actually glad to come back to school. They hadn't even gone on holiday to a luxurious beach. Lamest summer ever. Not to mention that he hardly spent any time in Diagon Alley to rekindle some of his faltering friendships.
That's right, Theodore's new attitude for second year was to be more nice to his current friends, and new people.
...
Apart from REALLY annoying Ravenclaws.
With his trunk neatly tossed in the middle of an empty compartment, ready to trip up anyone who thought of joining him, Theo lay face down on the couch. It smelled like Hogwarts. WAHOO.

With the luggage and Jinx’s cage in her hands, the fifth year made her way along the train corridor. Since she had met some of her friends on the platform, and spent some time talking to them, she was boarding on the Hogwarts Express later than she usually did. The train corridor was rather crowded, and Gwendolyn hoped she would manage to find her Gryffindor friend soon. Yes. She and Ari had agreed to meet on the train. The only problem was… she had no idea where her friend decided to sit, or if Ariadne had even arrived yet.
The girl walked along the corridor, eventually not looking for her friend anymore, but for an empty compartment. She figured Ariadne hadn’t arrived yet. So, picking a random compartment at the back of the train, Gwen made her way in rapidly, leaving the door a bit open so that, in case she wouldn’t spot Ariadne… which was very likely to happen, the Gryffindor would notice her.
Oh well…
Looks like she had plenty of time to kill before her friend would arrive.
Gwendolyn let Jinx out of the pet cage, and the black furball immediately jumped on the seat beside his owner, who was sitting by the window. ‘Meyow’, the cat made himself noticed, drawing Gwen’s attention towards him. After giving the cat a small pat on his head, the girl glimpsed at the objects she was still holding in her hands. Her sketchbook and Potions elabore. Those should keep her busy for a few hours. Though…

So this was it? Terry Radley was on his way to start his new education at Hogwarts School and you could tell from the look in his eyes that he was thrilled! As soon as he boarded the train he headed for the back where it was seemingly quieter and chose a compartment that was completely empty. He hoped that someone would join him because he didn't like being lonely but he didn't want to walk into someone's compartment if they wanted to be alone.
The silky brown and white rat with the perfectly pink nose and straight whiskers sat on his lap as he tickled it behind the ears. For a rat Brie, that was her name, was quite pretty. She kept herself perfectly clean and seemed a very classy rat. Terry had already grown to love her and he'd only had her a matter of days.
The boy looked out the window, his nose almost pressed against the glass as he watched the children saying their final goodbyes to their parents. He spotted the familiar perfect blonde locks of his mother, stood with his sister talking to someone, must have been a former employee or something and he waved to them, receiving a poked out tongue from Tilly.

…hopefully Ariadne will arrive soon.
Crowds. As always. Ariadne sighed as she moved slowly, trying to find a compartment. It was impossible to spot anyone through the sea of people, so when she'd had enough, the girl dashed into the first compartment she could find and dropped Pluto's cage on a seat. Only then did she notice the only other occupier.
'Gwendolyn H. Greene!' she said excitedly and hugged her best friend. 'You knew I prefer the back cars.' Ari was impressed. 'And hello there, Jinx.' she greeted Gwen's pet. Luckily she hadn't sat on him.
'I have exciting news! I found my mum's diary from the year before I was born!' the girl said without any introduction. Together with the photo Gwendolyn had found in her parents' album, she now had a few pieces of the puzzle. 'The only problem is that it's in code.' Yes. There had to be a glitch.
'But there must be a reason why my best friend is in Ravenclaw.' Ariadne grinned like the Cheshire Cat. With Gwen's help, she might just be able to track down her real father. 'What do you think of it?' Ari asked her bestie, showing her a random page from the stolen diary.
'Diary aside, what do you think about Jory?' she changed the subject very abruptly and closed the door. Not everyone needed to know their business. 'I like his new haircut.' she added, dreamily, very unlike her usual self.
