Leaving the door to the classroom ajar to allow the warm September breeze to flow through the classroom from one of the open windows, Professor Marion Burbage has set up a table next to the door with rows of Muggle soda bottles of various flavors lined up along with empty plastic cups. The professor is currently seated and looking over two photographs that you cannot make out just what of in the front of the classroom.
Beside the display of two-liter pop bottles is a seating chart of the classroom and a note that reads:

Ella was really happy that Astronomy classes were happening again. She was really interested in the subject and had been kind of disappointed when there was no classes on the subject last term. After making the longgggggggg journey up to the Astronomy tower, the third year entered the room with a smile.
"Hello Professor." Ella greeted with a smile, taking in the woman who appeared to be studying some...photographs? Interesting. Her eyes then traveled to the table where there was soda. SODA? ORANGE SODA? Awwww yeah! Ells was definitely an orange soda fan! She was also PARCHED. How did Burbage know? Bending down, Ells read the note that sat on the table, just to be sure she was meant to drink the soda, and smiled when her thoughts were confirmed. Wicked.
Fishing out a quill from her bag, Ella placed her name in one of the empty squares on the seating chart. She picked a seat close to the open windows, wanting to feel the cool breeze. Ella Bishop, Third Year, Hufflepuff She then grabbed a bottle of the delicious orange soda and a cup, and headed to the seat she had picked.
Sitting down, Ella poured herself a drink and sipped on the orangey goodness, waiting for her other classmates to arrive.
Laura was looking forwards to this lesson, she had no idea why probably because it would be a distraction from all the problems she had going on, she smiled at the Professor when she walked into the room. "Hello Professor."
Laura then did what it told her on the Parchment she placed her in one of the empty squares on the seating chart. "Laura Hope Hyde, Third Year, Hufflepuff." She the poured herself a drink in one of the cups and then she went and sat down in the middle of the classroom, she really wished this lesson would start.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Daichi was secretly hoping that Roslund would come back to teach Astronomy again as he made his way up the loooong stairs to the tower. He had always liked the man and he had possibly been one of his favorite teachers but he knew the changes were very small.
He pushed the slightly ajar door further open and stepped inside. The Slytherin immediately noticed the soda bottles next to the door and raised an eyebrowas he read the note before looking at the professor...who was not Roslund. It was politer to first say hello right?
"Hello Professor, welcome to Hogwarts~!" he said with his bright usual smile and bowed his head in greeting. "Can't wait till the lesson starts!" he then proceeded to move to drink table and grabbed an orange colored soda with a cup before picking out a desk near the front and sat down.
Taking out his writing material , he began to write what he had been instructed to do.

First lesson in her second year it was. Entering the class room in the tower, Cassia had a big smile on her face. She made sure to make it to the tower early because second years unlike firsties, don't arrive to classes late. Because they know the castle very well and they don't get lost. And that was Cassia the second year. As she entered she saw the professor sitting and looking at two pictures. Cassia squinted her eyes at them but she couldn't decipher them. She shrugged and stepped closer to the professor, "Good day Professor," Cassia said brightly. She actually forgot the woman's because she was hungry when the headmistress introduced new faces.
Anyway, she walked further in the class and stopped before a parchment. She nodded at no one and scribbled down.
Name: Cassia Somerlad
Year: Second year.
House: Slytherin.
The corners of her lips turned up forming a smile when she wrote down second year. It sounded so much cooler than first year.
Then she approached the bottles that were placed on a table. She arched an eyebrow at them obliviously and picked up a bottle that contained orange weird fluid. Taking a cup as well, she chose a seated and settled there.
She eyed the liquid and shook her head. Nope she wasn't going to sip something she didn't recognize. Wise second years don't do such things.

Harlan smiled to herself as she entered the classroom. Her first proper wizard school class! And to top it off it was Astronomy! Stars were awesome and sparkly. And anything sparkly was very very fancy, just like Harlan.
She noticed the soda on the table before noticing anything else. Fanta?! During classes? How was that even allowed? Harlan shrugged, it was still awesome. She then noticed the Professor and managed a polite smile, not sure how she was supposed to greet the woman. 'Hello Professor, nice to meet you.'
Before grabbing herself a drink, Harlan spotted the note and searched for a quill in her bag. Harlan Isaacs, Fourth Year, Hufflepuff. When she was satisfied that her handwriting was pretty enough Harlan grabbed some soda and a cup and set off to find a seat.

First lesson of the year. It was always one of the hardest ones as it was getting back into usual school routine and it didn't take most people quickly to do so. Still you had to get used to work at some stage, and seeing as the work increased as you moved up in years, the sooner you got used to it the better.
With a small yawn, Renesmee walked into the Astronomy classroom. She covered her mouth not wanting to be impolite, but the yawning continued. She was still tired from last night and all those stairs she had to climb were not helping either.
"Morning, Professor...." she didn't finish, realising she didn't actual know the new Professor's name. She eyed the Professor's hands to see that she was holding some sort of paper, or picture, but she could not see what. It wasn't her bussiness anyways, she ignored it and then looked back towards the door instead.
She never noticed it before, but there was desk with some soda and cups on. She walked over to the desk and now notice the parchment too. She read over it and began writing her name down in one of the blank squares.
When her name, year and house were written she picked a green coloured soda bottle and went off to take a seat.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
....
This had to be a crime...yes she was a Gryffindor and the common room was not to far off but that didn't mean that she was coming from that direction in the first place and so this meant walking and lots of it!
The only thing that kept her going was the fact that she had no idea what she would learn in Astronomy and everyone knew that the 11 year old was a sucker for all things new. Sigh. One day she would condition her mind to ignore all things new but for now she would make the long trek up the stairs. Who knew, it might really have been a lot of fun and there was no point in missing out on a lot of fun because of a lack of willingness to climb!
Entering the room her eyes went wide at the sight of the soda! She never thought she'd see much of that here! And uh...of course she saw the Professor too...but really she just liked the look of the soda. "Hello Professor."
Looking around she saw that a few students had already arrived. Le Gasp! They were drinking the soda! This meant it wasn't off limits! With a grin of satisfaction Lex made her way over there and began helping herself when a note caught her attention. Hmm... She took out her quill and did a quick scribble before focusing on the yummy soda.

Oh, well, what do you know? Lottie was in a mood. Though she'd loved to climb AAAAAALL those stairs...she was still wishing she'd come from the dungeons. And she had to wear that silly yellow stuff on her robes. Not cool. As if she needed some ID as to which House she belonged to.
Ridiculous.
She still smiled as kindly as she could to the Professor over there. One who was busy enough to notice students, yeah? "Hello Professor," she said, and...oh, okay, MORE ID stuff. Ugh.

Lottie did take a seat, eventually. And took the drink and cup with her. She didn't start drinking it or anything.
Nigel was excited to finally get back to classes and was not sure if he even liked Astronomy or not. He walked over to where he had to sign in and wrote on an empty square.

Once he finished writing. He turned to the muggle soda and picked for his favorite kind and a cup. He turned around said "Hello, Professor" and went to find a empty seat to sit down and enjoy his muggle drink.

Sarah had never been to an astronomy lesson before so she made her way into class. "Hellp Professor" she said. Then she spied bottles of soda - yay sugar! They had it in Hogwarts? Boy, once Sarah had sugar in her system she was like Tigger from Winnie The Pooh. She read the sign and went over to the seating chart. Taking out a quill she wrote in a block in the back corner, next to the window: Sarah Edwards, second year, Gryffindor.
Then she took out a cup and put it down. She then selected the purple soda bottle and poured the purple liquid into the cup. She got a bit distracted by the sloshing sound the soda was making that she did not realize that she had spilled on the table. She took out her wand, "Tergeo" she said and the purple mass disappeared.
She took her cup and eager not to cause trouble she went to the seat in the back corner by the windows. Seated in her chair she began sipping her soda, hopefully it was not poisoned.

Elliot swept into the room grandly, as if she were queen of the place. HEEHEE. Maybe she was. No, Empress of the place. HA.
She spotted Laura, sent her a nasty smile, and swept past her. She found a familiar face...and plopped down next to her, but not before grabbing a paper cup. Hmph. She eyed the soda bottles suspiciously...drinks shouldnt be those colors, should they? Looked unnatural.
She wrote her name on the small square as she said, "Greetings, Professor." She was new, no? Hmph.

Astronomy! Woot!
The heavens had really heard them out on their petition to open the Observatory again. Not only that, they also had a new Professor which meant that Astronomy was offered on their curriculum this term once more. Ah, it also meant more constellations to study, more stargazing.. and she wasn't going to complain one bit. She loved the diverse and numerous celestial bodies.
Doing some sort of hair flipping, she entered the classroom through the slightly opened door. It wasn't fully opened. Was the new Professor not expecting them to arrive just yet? Or are they not just welcome? Immediately, she noticed the table next to the door. Beezus glanced at the bottles and cups for a bit before shifting her attention on the note.
Hmm. Seating Chart.
The brunette took out her quill and scribbled the asked information on a square that corresponded to a seat on the second row, third column.

Then doing as instructed, she snagged a bottle with the dark liquid, because green isn't her color and she hates orange which she thinks is coke and a plastic cup to go with it. Before proceeding to her seat, she eyed their Professor. What was she looking at? And did the sodas have anything to do with their lesson? Not finding any answers to either of her silent questions, Beezus shrugged and strutted towards her seat offering a nod and smile to some of the people she knew already present; Ella, Daichi, Ness, Nigel and Elliot, she then settled her things down and waited. She wasn't thirsty so the drink would just sit there for now.

It had seemed like ages since Kurumi had been in an Astronomy classroom setting, but she was glad to have the subject back in her final year at Hogwarts. It wasn't one of her favorite subjects, but it was WELL above Potions and Flying. It was hard to be any lower on Kurumi's list of subjects when it came to those two really.
Entering the classroom, Kurumi immediately recognized the elderly woman in seated in the front of the classroom from the feast. Oh, so she was the new Astronomy professor! Kurumi hadn't been too sure when she had met her at the feast. Kurumi then noticed the table with all the bottles of...soda? Why soda? Kurumi's nose twitched for a moment. Was this woman going to be one of THOSE professors who tried to turn each lesson into a party? If so...Kurumi was not a fan already. Still, she selected a bottle randomly, not really caring what flavor it was, and a plastic cup as the note instructed before filling her name in on the seating chart

Dylan entered the Astronomy tower, he didn't want to come to classes at first.. BUT he did like the sound of Astronomy. Maybe he will get to learn what is out there in that space place where all the stars, planets, galaxies etc are. He had always wondered what it was like to be out there.. maybe they would get to know now. Not only that! his dad had told him about a few Astronomy lessons that he had as a young boy and now that Dylan was here, he too wanted to do all of that!
He just hoped that this class would be a cool one and not boring.. as soon as he saw the soda bottles on the table he knew this was going to be a fun lesson.. he walked upto the table and read the notice.. mm they could drink some too?! awesome!! "Hey Professor" he greeted a little quickly as he went back to looking at the bottles.. cause he had to choose one.. but he also knew he had to write his name down too
Dylan Jacobs, First Year, Gryffindor
He wrote down his name in a square and looked at the bottles deciding which one to pick.. after a while he decided to go for the black looking one. Only cause it was as black as the space that was up there in the night sky, he then looked round for a seat and saw Alexa.. he went over and sat down next to her "Hey Alexa.. good to see you again. Time for a fun lesson.. right?" he chuckled as he waited for the lesson to begin
Upon reaching the last step in the long flight of stairs that she had to conquer on her way to the Astronomy tower, Cass leaned against the wall for a minute to catch her breath and glared at the old set of stairs, as if it was its personal fault that she had to climb up so high.
So, when she finally caught her breath, the blonde Slytherin walked into the barely occupied classroom and smiled, good. She was early, she liked being early. Especially to classes that were miles and miles away from her own common room.
"Good day Professor..?" She trailed off, realizing that she didn't know who the woman was, and didn't have any way to find out. But nonetheless, she smiled at the unfamiliar woman before glancing at the instructions and doing so.

Astronomy. A subject that had not been taught at Hogwarts for a great number of years and Elijah secretly wished that that was still the case. Who wanted to learn about planets and such like, anywayz? But, as always, he would be sure to try and bribe his way through classes and get a good grade. It had worked last term, after all.
Before entering the classroom he noted the set of instructions as well as the bottles of juice and empty glasses. He picked the orange juice since it was close to the colour of his house, and took an empty glass also, filling his name, year and house on the chart as instructed.
Finding the seat he had scribbled himself into, he dumped the juice and glass on the desktop and dropped his bag underneath his desk. That was after he had removed a carefully wrapped gift, of course.
"Professor Burbage," he began, walking up to the Professor's desk, gift in hand, "Might I be the first to say that you are looking even more beautiful than an array of sparkling stars in the night sky." He flashed her his charming smile and placed the silver wrapped gift on her desk, "Just a small welcoming present from me," hand placed on heart, "to you." Hand pointing at her now annndddd WINK.

An afternoon astronomy class? That was a good thing. West wasn't going to complain at all. He had to be here didn't matter what time it was, but at least he didn't have to get up at ---hey free drinks!
Select a BOTTLE of his choice? A whoooole two litre bottle? Well that is what it saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaid. West grabbed one and a cup and didn't even think to wonder why they were getting sugar. Though it would be SO much cooler if they got to make rockets out of them.
Oh and his name and stuff, that went on one of the squares and because he was smart like that, West sat in the seat that lined up with the square he'd picked. Which obviously was one with space on all sides so that his awesome friends could sit with him.

He wondered why did they don't have this class last term. Maybe there were problems or something? Whatever, he didn't care about that. The blonde guy dragged himself to the Astronomy tower. Entering the classroom, Gary watched that some students had already been there and the Professor too. His blue eyes spotted some bottles of soda.
Wait, soda?
He just smiled and took a cup of soda. "Good afternoon, Professor." said him polite to the old woman Professor. Then he walked to the seat at the corner and wrote his name on the square.

Astronomy for her first ever lesson at Hogwarts...
Juliet took a bit of time to find this place. She is still getting to know the part of the castle and is looking or finding ways to have shortcuts. She sort of moves slow so it's kind of a disadvantage on her part mostly. THAT or she could just wake up early in the morning to get herself ready and prepared for whatever classes she has.
Walking her way WAY UP at the seventh floor and into the Astronomy tower, Juliet finally spotted the exact location for the Astronomy class. It is a long walk up because Slytherins practically lives underground. Entering the room, she sees a couple of students already were sitting. She wrote her name on the square like everyone did:

After that she picked a soda of her choice. She picked the one with the purple color. It must be grapes or something sweet other than grapes.... and is colored purple. She made her way to one of the seats and when she did, she poured herself a glass of purple soda and drank it. Thank Merlin they had these. She needed it because she just climb a mountain.

When Alyssa heard that Astronomy class was about to start, she quickly ran up to the tower and then slowed down not wanting to be seen running in the corridors and making a bad impression with the new Astronomy Professor.
She enterered the classroom and smiled as she approached the new Professor and said,"Good evening Professor. Welcome back to Hogwarts." Alyssa had heard that the new Astronomy Professor was a former Hogwarts student and a Hufflepuff Alumni.
She noticed that there were other students there already and looked around. She sat at an She picked up one of the small squares of paper out and filled an empty plastic cup with some soda before making her way to an empty chair.
Sitting down she took out her writing materials and scribbled her personal information on the small square piece of paper.

Yaay. Astronomy. Indy has dearly missed those lessons last year, so she was so happy to see that they were going to be happening again. In fact the fouth year was actually skipping towards the astronomy tower. She had missed school a lot so she was so glad to be back, especially to learn more about astronomy. It was one of her favorite subjects. And now she was here. Indy smiled as she wandered into the classroom. "Hello Professor." She spoke, picking up a soda bottle, and looking at the people who were sat down at the desks.
She sent Daichi a wave, as she went to sit down next to Beezus. "Hey Bee." She beamed at her best friend, as she rested her soda bottle and cup on the table. Taking a quill out of her bag, she quickly wrote on her card thing.

This was the one problem with getting back to school- early classes. Selina, by nature, was not a morning person. She liked to sleep in way past breakfast and wake up right before lunch, but with school back in session she could not very well sleep that late. If she did, she would miss MOST of her classes. And if she wanted to stay captain she had to go to class. Class was sort of a must at Hogwarts, which Selina understood since it was, you know, a school.
However, her plan to wake up early to get to the first lesson of the year did not exactly work out as well as she had hoped. Kurumi, who just naturally woke up early, had been very silent this morning when she filed out of the girl's dorm. The rest of the girls didn't ever think to shake Selina awake- so she had overslept. Since she had overslept, she had missed breakfast. And for the sanity of the new Professor, she did not want to subject her to a class where Selina was hungry. She was new, she didn't want to terrify her like that.
So as she ran up to Astronomy, she had taken Kurumi's emergency cookie stash which everyone knew was in her sock draw and began to stuff cookies in her face as a form of nourishment. The redhead continued to do so until she finally reached the door for the Astronomy classroom. Chomping down on her last bit of cookies, she walked into the room and stopped short at the sight of the Professor. She covered her mouth, which was still full of cookie bits, and attempted to swallow them. Once that was all taken care of, she awkwardly smiled, "Erm, hello Professor..." She looked down in the cookie tin to see one last cookie, "Cookie, ma'am?"
THAT was awkward. After that encounter, she decided to sit down. It would be the best for everyone in the room. But not before grabbing all of the necessary items in the front of the room. Then she sat down next to Kurumi and handed her the empty cookie box, "Here you go."
