One of the corridors on the third floor is home to a large collection of armor. Be careful not to touch or the caretaker may give you detention to clean up your fingerprints (and everyone else's).

Messer was heading up to the Owlery to send a letter to his sister asking her to send him more candies because his supplies were ruined no thanks to the Hogwarts train accident.

He was about to take the stairs to the forth floor when something caught his eyes. Its a corridor full of shinny things. Curiosity made the third year walked toward the corridor.

Armors.

That was he saw when he arrived there. Armors. Lots of armors. He's tempted to touch one of the armors. Surely they wouldn't mind, wouldn't they?

Dora had been intermixed with the armor for a while now, not cause they were interesting or anything, but because they were a great place to hide on the corridor if you knew where to sit and be quiet. Which was great cause she was enjoying spying on people as they walked past and talked way too loudly.

Except then she saw ~~Edvard~~ Messer and she couldn't help but give away her position. "Hey! Messer!" She peaked around a particularly large body of armor and waaaaaaaaved at him.

The armors gallery is a bit creepy. What if they suddenly move by itself? But he's in Hogwarts that could happen but its still creepy. He heard some sounds brings him out from his thought. Maybe its just the wind so he just shrugged it off.

Messer was about an inch closer to touch the armor when he heard a voice that made him jump. "Wha--Who was that?" He looked around the corridors to find the owner of the voice that almost give him a heart attack until he saw someone was waving at him. "Dora!" he waved back at her and walked to where she was ~~standing~~ peeking. "You startle me. What are you doing here?" Was she playing hide and seed here?

"Didn't mean to, but that means I have a good hiding spot." Which was what the twelve year old had be going for in the first place. She KNEW it was an awesome place to hide, but Messer had just confirmed it which made her grin.

Dora went back into hiding and waved for him to hide with her so people walking by wouldn't be suspicious. "Hiding." Pause. "Spying. No one ever ever looks this way and when they do they don't look for spies so it makes it easy for spying and listening." And there was SO MUCH to see from here! Like the hufflepuffs chatting over in the far corner or the headmistress storming out of the trophy room earlier and sooo much more. Dora heard it all.

"What are you doing?" Did he wanna hide with her? She was already inviting him, though they probably weren't gonna be to stealthy with the chatting.

Good hiding spot? No kidding. With all of this armors around, its THE perfect hiding spot. Maybe he should go and play hide and seek here one day."Yup, that's pretty good hiding spot." He was sure that the Ravenclaw already knew that. "How did you come across this place?" He even didn't know that Hogwarts has this kind of place till now.

Did she ask him to go hide with her?

Yup. I think she did. Messer followed her to her hiding spot as quietly as possible. Beside Dora said spying so he better not to compromise their hiding spot. "Are we spying on someone?" Yes, we. Since he want to be in this hiding/spying thingy too.

"Umm. I was about to go to the owlery to send a letter." he told Dora. "Buuut, it can wait. I want to hide with you." That if she doesn't mind of course.

She nodded her head, she totally DID know how awesome her hiding spot was, and didn't feel the need to say so again. Though it was fine and stuff that he did, acknowledging her awesome was cool by her. "When I take study breaks, I explore the castle. It's more interesting indoors than out. Did you know the witch statue over there has a secrete passage behind it? They closed it a long time ago, but it used to lead to Honeydukes." Cool, right? She thought so.

The second year already knew this corridor as well as she did the seventh.

"Not anyone in particular, I just like to people watch. You missed the headmistress being all huffy puffy." She giggled and tried to keep quiet but it was hard to cause that had been funny.

Dora grinned some more. She so didn't mind him hiding with her! "Good. You're a good hiding buddy to have." Cause he was a cool older Puff and all. To her at least, it might not be saying much since she didn't know too many other Puffs. "Who you sending letters off to?"

"It depends on where you go I guess." And none of it was forbidden like that big forest except maybe were all the professor hung-out, but who wanted to go anyway? "Probably cause they didn't want us leaving the castle unattended or something. But I bet if some older kids tried, they could open it back up and we could sneak out anytime!" Wouldn't that be awesome?

She shrugged, still grinning. "She was with some gryffindor girl. Think she was in trouble for doing something cause she was yelling an awful lot." Had to be, to be heard from the trophy room. Though his reason was a good one to get huffy puffy over too.

Hmm..That's kinda true but he still prefer outdoors anytime. "I take it you're more an indoor person then?" Since earlier she said that indoors more interesting than outdoors. "Too bad they didn't. We could go to Honeydukes anytime we like." He'd prefer sneaking away to Hogsmeade than going to the kitchen and ask the elves come candy.

"Poor girl." Being yelled by the new Headmistress in the first few months of the school year. He felt sorry for the girl but maybe the girl deserved the yelling who knew.

Ohh. "At least you could read their writing when they wrote you a letter. I spend three whole days to figure out what my sister wrote." He loved his sister dearly but he just can't stand her hand writing. "No. She's younger than me." That's why her writing is difficult to read.

"Yeah. It's always really cold where I grew up so I kinda learned to love it." She tugged on one of her braids thoughtfully. "I like it outside sometimes though, but inside is more my style. You like outdoors more?" He was thinking the saaaaame thing she had been earlier! "And all of Hogsmeade too! We wouldn't need to write for more candy then either." Just more money.

Dora didn't really feel bad for the girl, but she did kinda wonder how she'd gotten into trouble with the headmistress of all people. Had to be something pretty bad, or just really dumb.

She shrugged her shoulders dismissively. "Maybe." They didn't write her though, so she really wouldn't know. "You gonna send her candy?" Was he a really good big brother? Probably cause he was a Puff and even though they were supposed duffers, they were also big on hugs and stuff like that.

"It's pretty cool. Better than last year cause I know people and spells and stuff. Plus I get to be one of the older kids." Which was kinda awesome. "Third year any better? You learn cooler stuff, yeah?"

The corridor had quieted and so Dora wasn't so focused on spying as she was on talking with Messer. He seemed like someone to like the outdoors, all her friends were like that. "They're growing on me... but it's hard to be out there with all the raining." It rained a lot in Scotland.

Dora was STUNNED. "She's allergic? That is the worst thing ever." The second year had a full blown pity look JUST FOR HIS SISTER, head shake and all. "I don't think I could go without candy ever."

"What do you know so far? Anything you can show me?" So she could learn tooo?

With his flower pot filled with daisies in hand, Gideon had made his way back into the castle. It was probably best to do the rest of the project in a less open area in case Selina happened upon him before he was finished. Finished with what, the seventh year still wasn't sure. He set it down on the floor in front of his as he sat down upon one of the ledges to look it over as he thought over ideas.

First things first...the pot was rather boring. It needed some colors, perhaps a design upon its terracotta surface. And seeing as Selina was the epitome of Gryffindorness, the color scheme seemed rather obvious. Red and gold all the way. Using a color-changing spell, Gideon made the overall color red. Once he was satisfied with the shade, he switched over to using a painting spell to add some golden stripes at various points around the planter. he then set it back down on the ground to dry while he thought upon any additional ideas to add to it.

Gideon had to admit though, the flowers were already looking even more perky then before. Bright white against the red background. Nice...cheerful...but not totally Selina. It needed something....quidditchy. His wand out once more, he worked on conjuring a few things that represented the game the redhead loved and that they both shared in play, adding them to the potted flowers and making them totally unique. As an added touch, he added a charm to keep the flowers from wilting too fast to keep the effects of the gift from dying out too soon.

Quite pleased with his results, he headed back up to the Gryffindor common room to plan a meet-up with Selina where he could give it to her.

Alice had been intrigued with the armour for a while now, not because cause the suits were interesting or anything.. they wren't. At least, they weren't to a spunky little thing like herself. No, it was due to the fact that they were a great place to hide in the corridor. But only for a criminal mind like hers, which could detect the best suit of armour to sit behind. She liked to sit there and spy on the unknowing people who passed by and talked in their boisterous voices.

Which was exactly what she planned to do today.

So as soon as she reached the armour gallery, she immediately crept behind the largest display of shiny metal plates. After re-positioning the suit slightly, for an optimum viewing range, she sat cross-legged on the ground. Her eyes peeked out from behind the suit, darting this way and that, awaiting her next victim.

"No, but I go to all the matches and cheer on Ravenclaw and my friends." Dora was a good friend like that, and was a totally supporter of her house. "I've seen you play."

No. Dora actually gave it a good moment of consideration too, and she just couldn't imagine what it would be like to not have candy. She even had some on her now! Pulling out a bag of jelly slugs, she offered him some. "I could never not have candy." Truth.

She took a slug for herself and bit off a piece, chewing it thoughtfully as she watched a gryffindor girl come hid in the armor. That girl was a smart one, like them, using this place to hide. Smart. "Can you show me later then when we're out of here?" Someplace that he could hit things and maybe make them explode? Dora didn't give him much time to think on that before she was asking more questions and finishing off her slug. "How come you go by your last name?"
