Hecate looked even worse for the wear. She was quite thin, and her breath could no longer be covered up with a mind. She was now taking a potion for it.
Still she was going to keep going in the way she knew. She wrote on the board "Truth Serums" and underlined it.
She returned at back of her desk and sat in her chair.
ooc: This class will stay open for at least 72 hours (probably more.) Also thanks to Nixy! and AuroraQuinn for taking the picture of the Potions Classroom for me, and to Anna Banana for making it into a pretty graphic!

Her potion did look like water... Kat wondered if she could trick someone into drink this 'water' and ask them too much truths, you know. Sneaky way to be smart, eh? That's what Kat is.
Kat took out her vial and filled in with potion. She then slipped the vial with the potion inside her sling bag. After that, she filled the bottle with her left-over potion. After filling the bottle up, she walked to Lafay and handed her the bottle. "Here's the bottle with the Lingualaxus Truth Serum, Professor," she said.
She was about to leave but before doing so, she looked back to Lafay. "Thank you for the lesson, Professor Lafay."

Cleaning her ladle with a quick wave of her wand, Kurumi poured some of her now clear solution into the vial to give to Professor Lafay and then some into a separate one to use for homework. She didn't really like the idea of having someone use this potion on her...save for two people that is. At least she knew who she would be doing this assignment with - Selina or Lewis.
Only she didn't really know what she would ask either of them since they were always honest with each other. Hmm...she would think of something.
With another wave of her wand, Kurumi cleaned up her area and glanced at Lewis, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips as she shook her vial a little in his direction. Maybe she could ask him something about post Hogwarts?
"Here you are, professor," Kurumi said as she left the vial on her desk. "This assignment is due...one week from now?" As was the usual?

Minerva had never been in trouble during Lafay's class and she always did what she was told, but at the moment, she was unable to move. How on earth was she going to finish this potion. She just looked at the leeches....poor gross blood sucking leeches. She knew it was silly, they were gross and sucked blood, but they were still living.
Faintly she heard someone say something to her and she slowly turned.. "I..I don't know.. I just can't.." she looked back at the leeches. That's when she saw his hand go in front of her and dropped a leech into her cauldron, she gasped quietly and shut her eyes not wanting to see the thing die. She opened her eyes just slightly and saw him doing all her leeches. That was so sweet of him to come to her rescue she thought. She glanced at Lafay hoping she wouldn't freak out that Ethan was helping her. She owed him big for this one. When he seemed finished she cautiously opened her eyes fully and looked at him, not the potion (that could still have parts of leeches floating). With a weak voice she whispered, "I owe you big.. I..I can do the spell." Pulling out her wand she pointed at the cauldron and took a deep breath. Jabbing her wand at the potion she tried as clearly as she could "Verax" When the potion went clear she breathed easier and smiled weakly towards Ethan, "Your amazing, you know that.."

Ethan peered into his cauldron.. good, it was clear now which meant that it was brewed properly. He glanced over at Minerva. She still looked quite queasy, but he was glad to see that she was able to cast the spell.. and Lafay either didn't notice him helping her or didn't care because he didn't hear about it. The boy lifted his eyebrows a bit at her next words. "I.. uh.. it was nothing.. really," he said, chuckling awkwardly, not really used to such a lofty compliment.
Ethan quickly averted his eyes and looked up as Lafay gave her final words. Yes, his was clear.. so he poured some into a vial, the rest into a bottle and corked both. He stared at his vial for a moment before pocketing it. This could be a very valuable potion.. someday, because at the moment he didn't have any pressing questions for anyone else.. did he? He'd have to think on that as he wouldn't have much time to complete the homework. He leaned closer to Minnie again and said, "Maybe you should go see the Healer after class." Because she still didn't look so good and maybe she'd have something to calm her stomach. Giving Minerva one last smile, he took the bottle up to the front of the class and said, before walking out the door, "Thanks Professor.. good day."

Belle took her potion and took a vial and filled it up with a portion of it. Then she poured the rest into a bottle, corked it and brought it up to the professor.
Belle copied down the homework once she got back to her work station. It seemed like an easy assignment! She could do it.
Then she cleaned off her workspace and packed up her things. Belle said to the professor, "Thanks for the lesson professor! I learned a lot!" as she left the room to go back to the great hall to eat.

Double checking that her potion was indeed cler, Ella reached for a vial and filled it with the potion. Putting a stopper in it, she placed it carefully into her bag. The remaining bit of potion was then poured into a bottle, after making sure it was clean. The third year put a cork in the bottle and stood up, double checking her work space was clean. Satisfied, she walked up to Professor Lafay and handed her the potion. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor." Grin. Oh...and on her way back to the common room she'd need to think of who to give her potion to. Hmm....

Minerva looked at her potion well at least it didn't have blood or parts of leeches anymore. She smiled over at Ethan, "I'll be fine, I might just head to the great hall for some tea or something though. Thanks for you help today, I do owe you." She fought the urge to hug him, because she didn't want to make him feel awkward.
She then turned back to her potion and placed some in the vial. This was going to be awkward, she had no clue who to ask to drink the potion. Then a thought came to her mind. "Professor, does this potion work on just humans or does it work for ghost as well?" It might be fun to have peeves drink it.

She looked at her potion and it was indeed clear so she mucst have done something right. She was quite glad that she had done so well because with the blood and leeches she figured she would have missed a step or something. She poured a portion of it into a vial and also poured some into a bottle. She corked it and handed it to her head of house.
They needed to try it out on someone? She knew that her potion was perfect but she didn't trust anybody else to try theirs out on her so she hoped that nobody asked her to do it. Maybe she could get Elliot to be her lab rat on this.

Vivi bottled her potion and cleaned her work station slowly as she mulled over the philosophical and ethical implications of using this potion. So long as the person knew they were getting it, it was probably safe, right? But how would she know that everyone felt that way?
Perhaps Lex had a point... Vivi was going to be preparing her own food and drinks for the next few weeks.
She finished packing her supplies, nodded politely at the professor, and then took her leave.

She took a vial and poured as much as she could before it started over-flowing. The rest she reluctantly bottled and corked then handed over. "Here you go Professor...I hope you feel better." Then she headed back to her table to begin gathering her things and cleaning up the area. When she was done she left, eager to try out the potion.

"It may work on a ghost, but it depends on that ghost... If it ever fought it during it's alive life." She said to the child. "But you should use it on a student."
Finally when the last child left, Hecate closed and locked the Potion's Classroom.
