Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a latern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

Anya practically dragged Tag behind her the WHOLE way down from the Gryffindor tower.
Yeah. She was THAT excited for a Hogsmeade weekend. Especially since it was her favorite Little Irish Man's first Hogsmeade visit. And she wanted to be the one to introduce the food crazed first year to the Three Broomsticks.
And soo... after they walked through the doors, she dropped the blonde's hand and spun around to show the room off.
"This, my friend, is the Three Broomsticks." she said happily.

"This, my friend, is the Three Broomsticks." she said happily.
Again, dragged by the hand. Tag now concluded that Anya would drag him around to places that were new to him and there would be no use in arguing against this. When she finally let go he caught his breath and looked around.
The place was bustling with people drinking frothy drinks, servers coming up to the tables. Old people chatting amongst each other and a small drinking/order station.
"And they have food here, right?" Was his first question. Yes, he was amazed by the place and how it looked comfortable. But whenever anyone mentioned food that usually stayed at the top of his head. "It's a nice place though." he said nodding.
Harold was not excited about waking up this morning.
The middle-aged man had woken up pretty much the same way for the past 20 years and went about doing the same tasks in his morning ritual but the first day Hogsmeade was open to the students was always a living hell.
After bathing and dressing, Hops made his way down into the gloomy pub and set himself to work, flipping the chairs down to the floor, opening the window shutters to bathe the room in light, and starting a fire inthe enormous grate of the fireplace. After that he unlocked the door so that the first customers could arrive and set to work with a sigh, cleaning glassware.
Just another day's work.
As he had finished the third or fourth set of tankards, the man looked up to see two younger looking kids enter the pub. "Welcome to the Three Broomsticks little masters, is it food and drink you're looking for, 'cause we've got plenty." He gave his best smile for this early in the morning and waited for them to give an order if they wanted.

Hugging her jacket around her more tightly, Elliot blustered into the Three Broomsticks. She had woken up a bit earlier than her friends, so none of them actually accompanied her there, but she was perfectly fine with that. Hmmph.
She glanced up a the menu, wondering what on earth she was going to get. She knew she wanted to try a butterbeer...weirdly enough, she had never even touched one before. Her father hated the stuff, so the Morganzo's rarely drank it. She shivered a bit, and watched the shopkeeper shuffle around to the people in line in front of her.
She sighed, tapping her foot on the floor.

Addie was excited to be going to a real living Wizarding village. Addie was so excited to see Hogsmeade. She skipped into the nice looking pub. The Three Broomsticks it was called. Her brother had said that it was a nice place, at least she was told that it was better than the Hogs Head.
Addie walked up to the bar and said cheerfully to the bartender. "Hello sir, how are you today?" Now this was just a time waster while she looked at the menu since she had never been here before. What to have? It all looked so delicious. Finally Addie was able to decide. "Can I have a butterbeer and a brownie please," she said cheerfully to the man.

Did they have food? Pffft. "Of course they do!" Anya said with a nod. "They've got all sorts... like... strawberry shortcake... and garlic bread!" The important foods obviously.
She smiled at the barkeep. Aww. He seemed like a nice guy! "He's looking for food mostly." she said with a little giggle nodding toward her friend. She, on the other hand, was looking for Butterbeer and dessert!
"Can we get: Two Butterbeers, a strawberry shortcake, and..." her voice trailed as she looked at the blonde out of the corner of her eye.
She guessed that Tag could easily down one of each thing on the menu. But, she'd just let him order whatever food he wanted.
...which, was actually probably dangerous.
Wait. Had she even given Tag enough time to grab a money bag before she dragged him out of the Tower?! She'd be sad if they spent all her money here... and not save some for the sweet shop.

After dealing with some of the other younglings that had popped into his pub, Hops turned to face another girl, this one seemed to have an attitude on her.
"Well Miss Castle-dweller, what can I get for you today?" His tone was all politeness, his mother had taught him to treat the fairer gender with respect afterall, no matter the size.

Oh and the next girl to enter was...an excited one. No doubt her first time in the Village. Harold had grown old, but he still wouldn't forget the first time he and his wife had come here.
Siigh....
Oh back to business. "You may have both, lucky we haven't sold any of them yet. You've got the first batch." The Shopkeeper reached into a glass display behind the counter and placed a brownie on a small plate and then sat it before her, next filling a glass with rich-smelling butterbeer from the tap.
"That'll be 14 Sickles, Miss."

Ohhhh! It looked so good. Addie dug into her bag and pulled out 14 sickles precisely. This was such an awesome place and she was getting the first batch. Addie felt so special. Addie plunked the Sickles down on the counter for the man. "Here you go sir," she said with a smile as she looked at her food. Addie could almost taste it. "This looks amazing!" More like Hogsmeade was amazing as a whole. Addie couldn't wait to go out and explore more shops.

Elliot raised one of her prim, blonde eyebrows. Castle-dweller? Couldn't he be normal and say Ma'am, or even just Miss? She tried to keep her voice level, though, as she replied, "Uh...I think I am going to have a butterbeer. For the first time...so make it good, Mr. Shopkeeper," she replied back, and a smirk appeared on her lips.
She was joking...she really was. Hopefully the man took it as such.

Emmanuelle was so glad to not have to stay outside long. The cold was kicking her behind already and she'd only been outside long enough to make the trek from the castle to Hogsmeade. She could feel that tickle in her throat that told her she was about to come down with a cold. Fixing a polite smile on her face, she entered The Three Broomsticks and walked up to the bar to order. "May I have some chicken noodle soup, garlic bread and a butterbeer, please?" she asked politely.

Ahh the sounds of coins on his bar was always a welcome one, and one that usually set off a smile on the middle-aged man's face.
"Well thank you, cooked them up myself. I hope you like 'em." And come back later to buy more. That was what he would really like.
She had forgotten the coupon though. He reached over just a seat away from her and grabbed one of the shiney golden coupons and handed it to her. "I couldn't exactly give this to you when you were ordering, on account I would lose money if I did that, you guys are supposed to bring it up first, not me, but the Village is having a 10% off sale on your first purchases so you best hold onto that for one of the other shops you'll be stopping into."
Yeah, he was a nice guy. Especially to little girls who were polite and complimented his brownies.

"Haha..." The shopkeeper barked out into a fit of chuckles when the girl came back fiestily about the quality of her drink.
"Well, well missy I'm sure one who can hold her own like yourself will find our Butterbeer quite enjoyable. Best place to get it in the whole of Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley but don't tell the barman there." he said with another chuckle. He poured her a glass and placed it infront of her on the bar.
"5 Sickles."

The next patron to enter was a girl who knew exactly what she wanted, Harold admired this.
He looked at her, a smile on his face as she rattled off what she wanted and with a nod, Hops got to work. He passed through a door leading to the back and filled a bowl with the steaming soup, popped some garlic bread into his oven, letting it cook while he placed the soup and the freshly poured butterbeer on the bar for the girl.
He then went back into the kitchen, returning a second later with her fragrant garlic bread. "Alright so, your total will be...1 Galleon, 9 Sickles, and 3 Knuts."

He had been slightly distracted by the decoration of the place until he felt and heard Anya stop in her ordering. Tag looked at her and gave her and the server a cheesy smile. For a couple of short seconds Tag looked at the board of food and what they had to offer here. "Macaroni and Cheese and two brownies sir. Err, thank you." Tag said with a small nod.
He turned to face Anya again. "Did you know they had Mac and Cheese here?" Oh, and he also hoped and assumed that Anya knew those two brownies were for him and not for here. Though, it wasn't as if he weren't gonna share if she asked. She did mention several foods and there were several food dishes here. They might not even make it out of the place before they had to go back to the castle. He felt slightly sorry for perhaps leaving Anya locked in this place all day long.

Elliot reached a hand into her pocket spilling with gold and pulled out 5 sickles. It was a bit hard, since she rarely only ever carried galleons. But she would never say this aloud. Though proud, Darius had taught Elliot to never brag about their enormous wealth. It was the one thing Elliot didn't brag about.
She placed the money on the counter, smirked up at the man, and took her butterbeer. "Well, thank you, sir. I will be sure to come back if, indeed, it is good." *snickers*
She turned on her heel and went to find a table to enjoy this....butterbeer.

He had momentarily forgotten that morning why he even wanted Hogwarts kids in his pub but these two were reminding him--they brought in the galleons!
Looking at the boy, and again chuckling after he had excitedly asked the girl if she knew they had had mac and cheese, Harold turned to get each of the things needed. He first poured their butterbeers and handed them over so they had something while they waited.
Hops then popped into the back of the kitchen to fix the mac and cheese and as it cooked he stepped back through the door to retrieve the brownies and strawberry shortcake from the pastry and sweets bins. After placing the plates on the bar, he returned with the mac and cheese, steaming warmly.
"Everything look ok? Your all's total will be...3 Galleons and 5 Sickles." Hopefully they had enough, if not, there were plenty of dishes to work on later.

Nigel walked into the Three Broomsticks for the first time. He looked around in wonder. It was awesome and he had the nice coupon. He walks to the counter and says to the person behind the counter "Um, Hello can i please have a butterbeer and i have the coupon here" Nigel shows him the coupon.

Anya giggled a little. Of course that first thing Tag would notice was some sort of pasta. But no... she didn't have the menu memorized.
She happily accepted the butterbeer from the shopkeeper. She sipped on it while she waited.
Oooooooooh! That looked like the bestest strawberry shortcake ever! Anya could feel her mouth water.
"3 galleons and 5 sickles." she repeated. "Are you doing that coupon thingy?" she asked. She wasn't exactly sure how they worked, but it would be awesome to knock off that 5 sickles. Mostly because she couldn't remember which coin the sickles were...
And because coupons made her feel super thrifty and responsible. The money bit didn't really matter to her. She was practically an only child now.
Right. She should pay. She fished out a handful of coins. Now... how much did she owe again?

Taylor smiled as she saw him. Her fiddling stopped when he sat across from her. "Hello, mi corazon." Tay started to blush at what he called her and it grew deeper at the compliment, "Aww thanks, Damon." She moved and kissed her cheek. Tay moved back. "I was hoping you would like it..."
Damon smiled, "Of course I like it. Unfortunately 'amazing' doesn't give you justice." His worries about what was going on with Minnie started to fade.

Anya seemed to be in her own money world as she talked to the shopkeeper. And then she got out the money, or so he thought. She seemed to be having trouble to find the right wizard money. An, to much of his dismay Tag hadn't gotten used to paying in Wizard money. Already he was merely confused with muggle money-math wasn't his forte. Now add in a completely new money.
"Just give him the money." He whispered to Anya in a slightly demanding tone.
Tag put his hands out to grab the bowl of mac and cheese and, with no other hands, had to force the brownies to sit on the pasta related food. "Oh, no, now there's brownie bits in here." He spoke in a sad, annoyed voice. Realizing he was being rude Tag added, "Thanks sir, the food looks really good."
