 Slides, swings, and other things, the playground rests on the free grounds overlooking the lake. The clever design, Mr. Murdoch says so himself, is slightly similar to Hogwarts, and just like the castle, the playground comes with surprises of its own. The ladders disappear, the roundabout moves on its own and the dragon-shaped spring rockers will try to throw you off. Don't worry if it succeeds, though, Waylon has placed protective charms along the grounds so no injuries happen.
He wouldn't want the Healer mad at him, after all. | |

"Blue as in sad, not literally blue." She smiled at him, eyebrows raised. "So, what's the matter, lion boy?" Jordan knew that scream, it was a happy one for once but the scream all the same. He looked up and couldn't help smiling as he watched Jez run around the playground like a toddler on caffiene, but the smile soon went away and he carried on swinging. He looked around and shrugged when Jez talked about him being blue, "It wouldn't surprise me if I were blue, my metamorphings been off recently," he said, before thinking about his next answer. "I dot know, I just haven't felt right recently... I know I've been acting weird, and my heads still not healed and the worst thing is, I can't help but feel guilty about Benjy." the kid was on his mind all the time now.

Shrugging she looked down to see all the dirt was all off her clothes, the Gryffie looked up and saw that Daichi was err.. gone. 'YOU'RE A CHEATER!!' Thea shouted, and began marching after Daichi, who clearly thought he was some sort of antelope or something...
Taking the bit of sugar quill out of her mouth, and threw it in Daichi's general direction. She knew it wouldn't hit him but.. yeah. Whatever. 'OR YOU CAN'T COUNT TO THREE.' Thea called a she marched over. 'WHICH IS JUST EMBARRASSING!!'

Deciding to ditch her heavy school robes for a more casual look, Cass ran towards the new playground in a manner that would make every 11-year-old proud...and every 16-year-old within the vicinity die of humiliation as she made a bee line for the swings - which were, thankfully vacant. "Swings!" She exclaimed happily as she sat down on one and began to swing, increasing both in height and speed with each swing. Ah, now this was awesome.

Brooke didn't remember the playground, maybe she hadnt been observant enough to notice last year ? she sucked, if it was here, HOW could she have not known? But oh well, she knew about it now And she was gonna haaaaveee to bring Dar here sometime but for now she wanted to play on it, she couldnt be bothered with going to find him. blahh. She was amazed as the roundabout began moving even though no one was on it, so she decided to stay away from that, and then the slides kept disappearing. She needed someone to push her on the swing.

She needed someone to push her on the swing. Louisa finally made it early to the grounds without worrying about breaking curfew if she fell asleep outside near the lake. She longed to see whether the giant treehouse was open again or still vanished, or hidden. But as she made it halfway down the road... there was something... new.
A playground.
The Ravenclaw hesitated and furrowed her eyebrows, " Wow." Very amusing and brilliant of Mr. Murdoch to create a place where the ickle students would be stuck in for a whole day. Hah. It gave the school some space of their hyperness.
Louisa was really close to the whole construction when she glanced this firstie or maybe a secondie squirming on a swing. Huh. She dropped her gaze and quickened her pace to hopefully go unnoticed. The last thing Louisa wanted was for a girl to ask her to play along and this one seemed lonely - lonely and annoyed.

She tried lying on the swing instead of sitting on it, she tried putting her feet on the floor and then sitting on the swing whilst pushing her feet against the floor, she tried trying to swing by her hand but nothing worked.
The swing moved the teeniest, tiniest bit, but nothing good. Not a proper swing. She needed someone, someone to come play with her and push her on the swing. Time to make a new friend ? seen as there was no one she knew around, it seemed so.
Sighing, the second year looked around for someone to play with her, everyone already seemed to have friends and then she spotted a girl walking past by herself, and then she started walking faster! eeek! quick! Brooke leaped off the swing, and began skipping over to the girl. "S'cusie! S'cusie!" she called out which was Brooke speak for "excuse me." "Wanna play wiff me ?" she called out as she got closer to the girl.
