Louisa tried ignoring the squeaking behind her and her legs loped a bit faster but the sound seemed glued to her and she just sighed slowing down and pulling off a polite friendly face. She came to a complete stop and turned around to face the skipping little girl. The one who was trying to sit on the swing... or something. Blink blink. "Uhh..." I was too old? Too smart? Too careless? That was cruel. Even for Louisa. "Well... I.. uhh... guess... I... what exactly do you want us to play?" No climbing trees. No climbing climbing-poles. No bouncing. No bouncing on bouncing castles. No... well, no playing like an eleven years old. Yep, that about summed it up. Louisa waited for the girl's |

And now she'd caught up with her. Phew, well this was a relief. And the girl wasn't running off! Not that people usually ran off but this girl was walking so fast Brooke thought she was gonna take off! Hehe, her mummy always used that expression when she walked fast. "Um..." The blonde thought for a moment. Superhero's was a game reserved for Superheros, Tag couldnt really be played with two people, nor could hide and seek. "Wanna play on the swings ?" Brooke smiled, giving her head a nod. |

She looked at him for a moment, then shook her head. “You’re saying it wrong.” … Well, it wasn’t that wrong... but it wasn’t right, either. Kirk. Interesting. Well at least now she didn’t need to ask him for his last name, too. As he jumped up, the girl flinched and fell backwards. “Defender of the Galaxy?” she repeated, plainly. You’ve got to be kidding me. “And why on Earth... Correction -” She propped herself up on her elbows. “Why in the... universe would they chose YOU to have such an important job?” HMM?? … “I wasn’t aware that Defenders of the Galaxy came with medical certification. But... thanks.” It still hurts though, you crazy liar. |

Shaking his head at her laugh and about the bruise on her elbow. "Good." he still was looking her over. At least nothing appeared to be pointing in an odd direction. Jumping from swings! Meh, he'd fallen off his broomstick enough to know it hurt, and jumping that high off a swing would hurt just as bad. At least the last time he'd fallen from the broom he'd landed in the snow though sliding across the snow wasn't the greatest when his girlfriend had sent him shooting out of the hole he'd tried to dig after failing to catch the snitch. |

Swings weren't very humiliating. Louisa broke into a When they reached for the swings, Louisa stood by one of them grabbing one of the chains with her hand. "Sit down and I'll push the swing for you." Louisa actually had never done that to anyone. Last time she was in a kid playground, she was the kid and her stepdad Jason had taken the responsibility to entertain her. This should be new. |

Ronnie grinned. "Yup!" she said, hopping back on the swing. "But I don't think I'll be doing that again. Just in case I get a...worse injury.." she said, swinging a little. She looked at the rest of the playground. There was a lot of things to play on. She pointed out the slides. "Hey, wanna try those out?" she asked, looking at Isaac. Ronnie loved slides, they were tons of fun! |

Brooke nodded as the girl instructed for her to sit down, she knew when to do what she was told that was for sure so she hopped on the swing. "Fanks, so much." Brooke beamed, waiting for the girl to push her on the swing, this was so fun! Brooke loved swings. Yays! She began to kick her legs a bit because lots of people did that when they were on swings, Brooke didn't understand why but they did! |
Quote:
And the real pushing started. The Ravenclaw steadied her feet to the ground and started pushing the girl higher into the air, making sure not to apply too much pressure because Brookie was a light one and Louisa didn't want a flying girl on her hands in her first week of Prefectship. "Tell me when it's too much!" she raised her voice a bit for the girl to hear her. It's going to be really tricky to talk while she swung like this. |
Cardigan skipped gleefully, staring in awe at the Playground. They finally had a playground!!! Not that this second year played on playgrounds anymore. Pssh, she's 12 years old for crying out loud! 12 year olds didn't play on playgrounds. It was practically social death. That was also the age limit usually. That was what she knew from muggle schooling. Okay, so maybe that's a lie. A big fat chubby lie. This girl lived for playgrounds. Naturally, she headed towards the roundabouts. The best part of a playground. They had to much swag that everyone went on them and died from the pure awesomeness. It happened to the snake millions of times. But she didn't die. She fell off. Not fun. And those were just muggle ones. But she could handle it. Of course she could. Cardigan began to spin on the roundabout, giggling as the wind whipped her hair around. Her long, luscious locks of blonde hair that grew back!! Take that mom, she thought with a smirk. Her mom couldn't cut it off now, could she? |
Ruthieee Another addition to the already extensive and fascinating Hogwarts grounds! A playground. Even at seventeen years old, Paulie Foster did not deem himself too old for a good playground. Not to mention that this one was far too big and intricate to just ignore. With that said, Paulie loosed his collar and climbed up the side of some tower. His sights were set on the top of the slide. |

Flapping her legs around in the air Brooke giggled and screamed, kinda at the same time which made a really weird sound. Tell her when it was too much ? She could hardly speak through the window going through her mouth. EEEK! "I..UH....." She gave up trying to speak and just screamed a bit more. This was fun and scary. AT THE SAME TIME *flails* |
Quote:
Okay. This was a touchy kid. "Sorry!" Louisa called after the girl when she was in the air. Although a second year was not very different from a first year student, was it? They were small, childish and bouncy all the same and this Brookie seemed to have a double dosage of all of the above anyways. Heh. Was the girl screaming a good sign? Louisa furrowed her eyebrows and stopped pushing just leaving the swing to come a stop on its own after a few slow swings. "Are you okay? I don't want you to get sick." Sick motion was real, right? Right. The Ravenclaw circled the swing to kneel before the |

Jonathan tried again, "O'Flannigaaan..." Cleared his throat. "O'Flaannigaaan..." Okay, well that clearly wasn't working... So, he reverted to his global travels to find out how to say it correctly. He summoned.... HIS IRISH ACCENT! "O'Flanagan!" DING DING DING!!! "The name's O'Flanagan... Delilah O'Flanagan... Top O' the Mornin' to ye." Jonathan added a heel click for good measure. "Is that how you say it?" he asked reverting back to his regular muddled English accent. "Obviously..." Jonathan began... "It's because I passed all the trials of Raxicorn, traveled past the Beeblebrox System, and defeated the Galaxy destroyer of ZARLOCK 9!" DUH! It's not easy to become the Defender of the Universe. The universe needs to show how awesome you really are. And I AM awesome! Oh... Medical degree? Well... "That comes from.... Um... "Steve." And Jonathan left it at that! It was at that moment he realized Delilah was still on the playground floor. "Do you want a hand up?" he asked reaching down his hand. |
Quote:
Honestly. … “Obviously.” She repeated as she rolled her eyes. She sat quietly while he reeled off his... adventures. “Well I’ll be damned. I suppose they’re reasons good as any other to give you that title, then.” Steve. Of course. How simply foolish of her to not realise this immediately. Delilah looked at the boy’s hand for a moment. As strange as he was, he still had better manners than the boys near home... She gave Jonathan a small smile, then took his hand and pulled herself up onto her feet; letting go of his hand quickly once she was upright again. Holding hands was... eugh. She combed her fringe back into place with her fingers. A middle parting? No thank you. Then, she rested her hands on her hips as she looked up to Jonathan. “SO... I suppose this isn’t quite how you were expecting your...” Adventure? Mission? Hmm. He was looking for an evil Doctor. Mission seems more likely, “... mission to roll out, was it?” |
Quote:
THAT'S AMAZING! No one ever plays along... Except Aurora... But she's the only other person. I like this girl. She's different. Jonathan helped Delilah up, but was confused when she pulled her hand away quickly. What's wrong with my hand? Girls LOVE that hand... Jonathan dismissed the strange occurrence, and just sort of brushed off his pants. They were covered with Magic ground.... As for his mission. He had to take a step closer to Delilah.... He then looked around to make sure no one was.... Listening in... "Listen, Dee. That information is top secret... Only the agency knows of it..." He looked right into her eyes and then backed off. His dramatic walks started again... Walking away: "And no... It didn't go as planned... Usually, I-" Quick turn. "Get the girl in the end." Pause. "That's you." |
Quote:
And then the swing slowed down. Phewwww. Brooke let out a deep breathe and smiled at Louisa as she came and knelt down infront of her. Be sick ? Brooke shook her head. "Yeep. im fine. THAT WAS FUN!" but she was kind of glad it was all over now; she didn't want to be sick or anything because that was gross. "Now what do you wanna play ?" their playtime wasn't over yet, Brooke still had plenty of playing left inside her. |
Quote:
"Top secret. Of course" She repeated, nodding her head. She wasn't going to tell anyone about Jonathan's mission. Nope. Mostly because they'd think she was even weirder than most people already found her... but still... Delilah frowned, very confused, when he turned and walked off. Maybe she spoke too soon about him having good manners... Oh. So things didn't go to plan. "But... why -" she tried to interject, before he carried on. Get the girl... Delilah blinked. "Oh." There hadn't been a girl for him to... get... though. Then Jonathan added that SHE was that girl. ... "OH." She was already blushing again; eyes wide and frowning with confusion and/or shock - she wasn't sure which - while failing to find the words to say in response to THAT. She probably looked ridiculous; somewhat like a startled... goldfish. Delilah knew enough about Muggles' superhero movies to know exactly what he meant. Instinctively, as she usually did when she was nervous, she removed her hands from her hips and folded her arms tightly across her chest. "Um..." Even more blushing. "Wait." She frowned. "You make THAT part of your plan, too?" Hopeful thinking, much?! |
We gotta start wrapping this up. lol. Quote:
That there is the wild O'Flanagan. We have the rare opportunity to see it while it is feeding... Watch as it protects itself. Jonathan was caught up fantasizing about his Delilah O'Flanagan wildlife show when he was sucked back to reality by a question. "Oh!" Jonathan replied simply. "Well, of course... The hero not winning the girl is essential to the secret agent action mission motif." This all seemed to obvious. "Why, it's like casting a spell without waving your wand!!! Or... Or... It's like climbing a tree and not falling off at least once!!!" It's like.... Um.... It's like..." Jonathan was racking his brain. "It's like going to Brazil and not getting ants so you can cook them up and eat them..." Now, Jonathan was hungry. "Do you want some grapes??" Jonathan pulled out a pouch. "I'd offer you some bugs, but I have grapes today, instead... Also, you're a vegetarian." He held out his pouch. The boy was ranting at a thousand words a minute. |
You know who you are....hehehe :) Ronnie ran as fast as she could to the playground, eager to be there again. She really loved the playground, it was now her favoritest spot at Hogwarts! . . . .Was favoritest even a word? Hmm. Well. It was now! Oh, what to go on first? She glanced at the dragon spring rockers. She really loved those, but she also really liked the swings. She chuckled as she remembered leaping out of it a few days ago while talking to Isaac. That was pretty fun and the bruise she had gotten on her elbow was no biggie. Ronnie finally made up her mind and decided to go on the swings again. She skipped over to them, and hopped on the first one she got to. Pumping her legs hard, she began to go higher and higher, smiling as the wind blew back her bright orange hair. She looked at the ground, wondering if she should leap out of the swing again. Nah. She didn't wanna risk breaking an arm. Now that wouldn't be good. |
anyone wanna' plaaay.... Elliot merely stared at the playground for a few seconds before placing her hands on her hip in complete and utter annoyance... "What, are we a pre-school now?" she asked, scowling. She rolled her eyes, and tried to turn away...but the playground lured her eyesight back. She then found herself walking towards it, slowly, but most definitely towards it... Okay...this does look...nice. Maybe I'll just...sit on it, or something... so she sat. On an edge not by anything in particular, and facing the castle so that she could see if anyone approached. There were other people playing on it, so she hoped they wouldn't step on her, or fall...*glare* She started to dig her foot into the sand on the ground, writing words and things. It was so amusing to her that the thirteen year old did not see the shining green eyes staring at her. She got annoyed with the way her name turned out(thanks to her inability to write neatly with her foot) and kicked the sand in anger. The cat leaped up, and Elliot gasped. She almost screamed, but didn't. The thing had an orange, puffy body, and green shimmering eyes. He sat down next to Elliot's foot and just stared at her. Elliot looked away, terrified... "Uh...IS THIS ANYONE'S CAT? HELLLLO? THIS CAT...IS BOTHERING ME..." she yelled, glancing around nervously. She shot a quick glance down at the cat, but it continued to stare at her...weirdly. She scooted a few inches away, like it made any difference, and tried to not to look at it again. But it just so orange. And PUFFY. |

But his eyes moved right to the swing set. There was swing open, and do you know how hard it is to find a swing open at a muggle park!?!?! Oakey would not let this opertunity pass him by, he dashed over to the open swing and sat on it! He pumped his legs once and the swing just started pushing him back and forth on it's own! This was GREAT he didn't have to exert himself in pumping the swing (even though it doesn't take much effort to do so), now he just got to enjoy the wind brushing past his face! He turned his head to see the other person sitting on the swings next to him! This-This IS GREAT! He exclaimed, he didn't know who was next to him, but that didn't matter. He just kept on letting the swing set swing him. |

Climbing up one of the rope ladders, he was about to make it to the first platform when the very rope he was climbing on disappeared from beneath him. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Cornelius yelled, despite the fact that he only fell approximately three feet to the cushioned playground floor. Aw man. |
Quote:
After a while of just swinging, she decided to introduce herself. "Hello," she said, turning her head to the boy. "I'm Ronnie. What's your name?" she asked. |
Quote:
Wow! It was actually someone around his age. Paulie had to admit that he was pleasantly surprised to find another that felt no embarrassment in participating in things that maaaay have seemed a little childish to the average onlooker. "Havin' trouble gettin' to the top, mate? First step's a doozy, I hear." He grinned. |
Quote:
Okay now it needed to stop. If he was mistaken it almost felt like the swing was picking up speed! Oakey pushed his feet down but that managed to do was knock one of his shoes off and it flew forward. Oakey looked forward, he'll need to jump. Hopefully the charmed floor will cushion his fall. He saw some other kids fall from the Playground castle as a floor disappeared on them but got up as if nothing was hurt. Loosening his hands a bit, on the next forward Oakey pushed himself forward and jumped! Just for 3 seconds Oakey felt like he was bird. He was in the air and moving forward about 6 feet from the swing. But then he began to fall,as his feat hit the ground it felt like they were sinking into it a bit. This caused Oakey to get a little unbalanced, as well as missing one shoe now, and he fell onto his back. No more swings for me. he joked to Ronnie. who hoped was still there. |
