Slides, swings, and other things, the playground rests on the free grounds overlooking the lake. The clever design, Mr. Murdoch says so himself, is slightly similar to Hogwarts, and just like the castle, the playground comes with surprises of its own. The ladders disappear, the roundabout moves on its own and the dragon-shaped spring rockers will try to throw you off. Don't worry if it succeeds, though, Waylon has placed protective charms along the grounds so no injuries happen.
He wouldn't want the Healer mad at him, after all.

Kaitlyn laughed, she had to..Theodore seemed so nervous and tense. It was quite funny. Of course she didn't mean to offend him in any way. *Innocent* "Urmm, tad bit stange, but sure.." she said with a grin on her face.
Kat narrowed her eyes and tilted her head to the side slightly, and asked curiously, "a bad experience?" He sounded like he'd made loads of friends already, Kaitlyn only had him and Blue..but a couple were better than none, right?
"Do you only like Hufflepuffs and Slytherins then?" she asked with a light laugh.

Admiration? Acceptance? Kaitlyn had no idea what it was that was lurking in Theodore's eyes, but she liked it. And she also finally felt as if she could call Theodore her friend. SUCCESS! She awarded him with one of her not-so-rare-anymore smiles, that included teeth and all.
"That does sound like a terrible thing to have happened to you," she allowed slowly before continuing, "but you mean to tell me that you're judging the whole of Ravenclaw house on one student?" Kat laughed, sometimes she loved Theodore's logic!

Her smile kinda freaked him out. Theo laughed nervously, and broke all eye contact with Kaitlyn.
Come to mention it... maybe his hate of Ravenclaws was purely based upon Mika. Probably because she was the only person he seemed to dislike in the school. He shrugged, "I'm not friends with any Ravenclaws, so it's a sign that the house is evil." Or Gryffindors.

Erick Ebony stood to teh side of the playground watching all the brats play in it. His jacket was zipped open to reveal part of his bare chest. He noticed with annoyance that all the girls looked pretty, as always. It was as if everyone here was a supermodel.

OBVIOUSLY. Lilly rolled her eyes. Kids. Good job they were cute. Like Blue. And those two boys who she'd seen around the castle, who seemed to be Blue's hyper, crazy friends. Noooooooow, down to buisness. "SO, how many people have you told about chocolate frogs since I last saw you?"
"Just asking," she shrugged. "And prepusteeerus? Do you mean preposterous, Blue?" NOW. The questions which defined whether she was weird. Because suddenly the little girl was acting all mature and superior. "They really aren't that nice without chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles. The bean's okay, I s'pose. Maybe because I had it with a strawberry flavoured one?"
Why was Blue looking at her all weird? In that strange, weird way? Like she was the crazy one. And she had sympathy for Lilly? Was it because of the snow-on-toast-stuff? Probably. Either way, it was freaking her out. A lot.
She beamed. Forgiven ... Where was that apology back? Blue seemed to have forgotten about it, being hyper and crazy and everything else. "SWINGS! YES!" Lilly forgot about being apologised to and the MARK on her arm and ran towards the swings, where there were two next to each other. She was gonna FLY! It would be so slippery!
"Has it still not come out? Or is it another tooth?" There was no way of knowing. "What are you going to spend your money on?" It would probably be wizarding money. If the tooth fairy knew where she was to come and give money. Heh. Probably sweets, like a lot of young kids. Lilly, personally, would save up until all her teeth came out and then buy heaps of clothes. But all of her's had already come out and, being a kid at the time, she had spent it all on sweets.
Blue went quiet and fiddled with a button on her coat. "Not a lot of people like - or believe - the idea." Sulky face. "I made a new bestie though, Kaitlyn. She's really nice." BEAM. "So I'm sure she'll listen to me. And I talked to a guy who had never tried 'em and convinced him not to eat them." Blue shrugged. When she ruled Hogwarts, no one would be allowed eat them and anyone who had them would have to release them into the wild where they belonged. It didn't even occour to Blue that they might melt. "Did you convince anyone?" WIDE EYES + CUTE FACE = The face Blue was doing now up at Lilly.
Blue waved a wand at Lilly's corrections. "Yeah, that. Whatever." Pronouncing things was the least of Blue's worries. She had more important things to do then practise her grammer and that sort of thing. Blue's moment of adult-ness disappeared when she heard the word 'chocolate'. She crossed her eyes and her whole body seemed to flop. "I LOVE chocolate. Mmmmmm..." Now she wanted some, gee, thanks Lilly. She was now so caught up in the idea of chocolate she wasn't paying attention to anything else Blue said.

Blue sat on one and started to move her legs back and forth. Hehehe. She got higher and higher till she almost went over the topand let go, yelping as she flew through the air and fell (very luckily) in a thick patch of snow. She burst into giggles and hopped up. "IWANNADOTHATAGAIN!" Yushyushyush.
Cue the sulky face. "Nope. It's still the same stooooopid one." She wiggled it again, a frown on her face. Grrrrr....So annoying! Her face lit up when Lilly asked what would she spend the money on. "SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETS!" She threw her hands in the air and spun 'round and 'round in circles, giggling when the dizziness hit.

HOGWARTS HAD A PLAYGROUND?! How come she hadn't discovered this earlier in the year?
Emma's face broke out into a happy smile as she saw the playground before her. Yes, it was probably quite childish for a tall seventeen year old to want to run and play on the swings or climb the castle but Emma didn't care. Despite her appearance, she was still very much a child on the inside. Hehe. Her brown eyes grew wider and wider as she took in the sight. This would be her base for taking over the world. Selena and her would have their secret base here at the playground. Heh. It would be perfect. The blonde Malfoy smirked triumphantly as she placed to hands on her hips and looked at the playground.
Speaking of Selena, the blonde hadn't seen her friend in ages. She had assumed that her best friend had been preoccupied with Head Girl duties. Even Emma had been busy. Merlin's Beard, she had her head stuck in the book for the first few months of school. She was determined to ace the NEWTS. She glanced around, looking for a familiar face.

Clarke continued to tug on the leash and seemingly for the first time out of class, Selena didn't have her pygmy puff with her. Clarke had most definitely tried to eat Kent, Selena was positive of it! Clarke had also been eying her pygmy puff all funny so Selena had supposed she had done the smart thing when she left the pygmy puff in the dormitories. Or was Kent in her bag? She couldn't remember where she had put the pygmy puff... she'd find Kent later.
Her cruppy just barked and continued to wag his behind as he ran around, causing Selena to chase after the creature.
"EMMMAAAAAA" Selena exclaimed, as she passed by her blonde best friend when Clarke ran by. Eep. Selena quickly took a few HUGE steps back and pulled Clarke's leash. The cruppy barked in protest and started to chase his own tail. Selena could live with that. "HAI."
Oh look, she was at the playground. Silly cruppy wanted to play.
