Slides, swings, and other things, the playground rests on the free grounds overlooking the lake. The clever design, Mr. Murdoch says so himself, is slightly similar to Hogwarts, and just like the castle, the playground comes with surprises of its own. The ladders disappear, the roundabout moves on its own and the dragon-shaped spring rockers will try to throw you off. Don't worry if it succeeds, though, Waylon has placed protective charms along the grounds so no injuries happen.
He wouldn't want the Healer mad at him, after all.
Hey, hey there. HEHE. Beezus finally arrived to where her fellow Ravenclaw was, and seeing a vacant swing beside, she stepped over to it, stood in front of it and perused over its chains. "Hanging around? Don't you have anyone to meet?" Like a friend or a boyfriend?
PFFFT.
Beezus smirked teasingly, turned and after a deep intake of air settled herself gently on the swing's seat, then she heaved herself back and forth with slight force before answering Gwen's next inquiry. "I'm waiting for my best friend. You know Indy right?" she asked, not taking a glance at Gwen and swinging a bit faster. "Yeah..when was the last time we talked? Like last term? At the kitchens?"
Yeap. Gwen had gaily volunteered to help her make cupcakes but they didn't have the chance to get the task finished because of some...things. "Are you still not considering the Quidditch team?" This time, she asked with her head at her friend's direction.
Truth be told, Gwen was kind of happy to see Beezus again. They hadn’t talked since last year… Wait- was it that long since they last talked? Erm. But the way the other Ravenclaw asked if she didn’t have anyone to meet sounded kind of ‘forever alone’. Why?‘No… not really’, the fourth year forced a small smirk. Besides, she kind of hoped she wouldn’t come across some certain people now. But Beezus wasn’t one of them. The younger Ravenclaw was all right.
Gwen then started swinging a bit faster, glimpsing once more around. But then Beezus said something and the fourth year drew her attention back towards the girl. ‘Yes. I know Indy’ She wasn’t sure if they had actually met, but she knew who Indy was. Eh. Hmm. She didn’t know the two of them were best friends. The thought of this made her remember Ari. She still hadn’t been able to find her.
Last term? I don’t remember exactly…, the girl started thinking. ‘Oh, that’s right’ The kitchens. It was odd how she was actually planning on helping Beezus with those cupcakes, since she was kind of useless when it came to cooking, backing and whatsoever.
Oh. Right. The Quidditch team.‘I… I don’t know’, Gwen said, at first just staring at the part of the playground in front of her, and then looking back at the other Ravenclaw. Seriously- WHY did it take her so long to finally make a decision? ‘How about you? You have been on the team last term too, right?’, the fourth year mused.
"I was so busy trying to go to all the classes and stuff that i missed quidditch tryouts completely." He said with a small laugh, it bothered him at first but now he thought it was rather funny, he guesses he was being a good student this year...
"Sorry to hear that." She kissed his cheek, "At least you find it funny." Tay gave a half smile. There was no way, she is going to tell him that she signed up and the try-outs are soon, now.
Maxwell smiled and gave her a hug. "That's great, I hope you make it." He kissed her cheek. "Have you been practicing your flying?" He asked not to imply that she was bad but he knew she'd want to practice.
Tay smiled, "Thanks." She nodded, "Yeah, i have been flying at my brother's pitch but i need more practice since im getting a bit rusty because of classes...."
Maxwell smiled widely as she blushed so red. He kissed her cheek. "Yupp, you'll be cute in them." He took one for her hands in his. "What position are you going out for?"
Tay smile as he kissed her cheek and took her hand. She laughed. "Even if i would be wearing blue and bronze instead of marron and yellow?" Taylor shrugged, "Any but i would prefer keeper or chaser."
Maxwell nodded. "Yeah, I think blue and bronze suits you." He said smiling. "Well, I think you'll do excellent at either." He'd always tried out for seeker but now he was to tall and was starting to be build differently, if he tried out in a year he'd be a chaser or a beater.
"You're welcome." He held her close and looked at his watch. "It's almost time for my class, would you like to walk with me?" He asked smiling at her and hoping she'd say yes.
Maxwell frowned a little as well. "I'm sorry, i would skip but i'm trying to get to all my classes to make my girlfriend proud." He said picking up his school bag.

As Paulie suggested that he sounded like a Roman general, he looked up with honest amusement on his expression, letting out another laugh and a grin to match. "Well thanks, but I don't think that's where my parents were going with it," he admitted, still trying to go faster on the roundabout that was being ridiculously slow in his eyes. "I think it's some kind of old family name, actually. He might've been a general, though." He let out another laugh before looking up to suddenly find Paulie in front of him.
And not only was he right in front of him, but he was suddenly starting to whirl the roundabout around! THIS HEAD BOY WAS A MIND READER!
"If I had a weak stomach, I'D BE A WEAK GENERAL!" Cornelius replied jokingly, though it came out more like a yell because he was quickly gaining speed on the roundabout, releasing the little handles and instead spreading out across the thing so he looked more like he was surfing on it than anything else. GENERAL CORNELIUS!
"WHERE DOES PAULIE COME FROM?" he called over the wind being generated from all of this playground surfing.

You sound like you should be a Roman general!" General Cornelius. Hmm. Or, maybe Paulie just had a habit of associating anything and everything with battles and soldiers.
He took a few steps towards a new, smaller slide and decided to run down the slope and hop off quite dramatically at the end of it. Now he walked towards that roundabout that Cornelius was on. "I'm Paulie," he answered. And because Paulie figured that General Cornelius here could TOTALLY handle a faster speed than that which the roundabout was currently going, he made himself useful and shoved the railings a few times to pick up the pace.
"You don't get sick easy, do ya?" he called. PLEASE say 'no,' because that thought only occurred to the Gryffindor AFTER he had sent the thing spinning faster.
Milton swore to never set foot on that playground. Because it was childish, foolish, and a complete waste of time. Or maybe his entire childhood was deprived of fun and all he did was got forced to play the piano and read textbooks all his life. WASTE. OF. TIME. Yep.
The only reason he was at the playground is because there was a giant swamp-like puddle in the grass that he had to get around. Because he didn't particularly want to walk through it to get through the grounds.
So, around he went and through the playground whilst avoiding any eye contact with everyone around him. Briefly looking up, he saw two boys around his age... acting like monkeys. Spinning on some strange.. spinny thing. He'd never seen one before, to be honest. Milton's stride slowed down and his eyes narrowed as he watched them spin around, shout at each other and act like children.
Wait.. that boy. He had met him at the train station before school had started. He had seemed normal then, but obviously Milton had misread the boy... And Milton realized that he had stopped walking and was weirdly staring at them. Welp. Time to go. Milton quickly resumed walking. Err. Cough. Moving on then...

Oh, it was relaxing to be at the Playground at a time like that. The air was so refreshing! Hmm..maybe she'd hang out there more often. That is, if there were available swings to sit on all the time, because if not..then naaah, she'd just stay at the Dorms or at the Greenhouse. "You know what? All the time I see you, you're always alone." Beezus commented casually at Gwen's reply. She didn't mean it like it was a bad thing. But..it was just strange to her, considering she liked hanging out with many fellow Hogwartians from time to time.
She knew Indy. "Well? What can you say about her?" asked Beezus, swinging gently to and fro. Honestly, she wasn't sure how she and Indy became best friends all of a sudden. They just saw each other frequently during Quidditch practices. Ah, Quidditch just gave her a best friend, she suddenly realized, making her grin.
Feeling Gwen eyes upon her, she also turned to her. "Mhhhmm." she mumbled, nodding. "I've been a reserve since first year. And Chaser last term." Did Gwen never watched Quidditch matches because she seemed not too updated with what was going on. "You should sign up." Shrug. "Or try.."
Stupid swing. She glared over at it and looked around to see her friend, "Hey!" She said, "I'm fine, I'm fine." She smiled, "I'm gonna go up there.." She said, turning to the tower with one of those rope thingys hanging down. She'd try climbing up.
"You coming?" She asked, grabbing the rope and firmly placing her feet on the wood. She'd master this playground. She made her way up the surprisingly tall tower. Suppose they could make taller towers without the risk of people falling when they had things like the cushioning charm. She was nearly at the top when the rope decided to become super slippery. Instead of falling, Glenn grapped onto the post near the top and flung herself onto the platform of the tower.
"Yes!" She yelled, "Take that playground." Glenn stuck out her tongue in the general direction of the swings. The blonde flopped down and crossed her legs, "Come on up!" She yelled over the edge. She suspected the rope had gone back to normal.
Angelina giggled and said, "Okay. Thats good your fine then." She watched as Glenn went over to the tower thing. Nodding she ran over to her and started to the grab the robe and fallow Glenn. Even if a playground was safe it really wasn't safe. Like Glenn you can fall and get hurt. That is what Angelina was always afraid of, but then again she has magic to help.
She was making her way up and trying to avoid the rope Glenn slipped on she grabbed another. Grabbing the robe it split and broke, luckily she was holding on to the other one though. Angelina slipped a bit and hit something. She wasn't to sure what it was, but it hurt. Ignoring the pain she continued until she was on the platform of the tower next to Glenn.
Sitting down gently avoiding more pain in her leg and got comfortable best as she could. Once that happen she looked at Glenn and smiled.
