Slides, swings, and other things, the playground rests on the free grounds overlooking the lake. The clever design, Mr. Murdoch says so himself, is slightly similar to Hogwarts, and just like the castle, the playground comes with surprises of its own. The ladders disappear, the roundabout moves on its own and the dragon-shaped spring rockers will try to throw you off. Don't worry if it succeeds, though, Waylon has placed protective charms along the grounds so no injuries happen.

He wouldn't want the Healer mad at him, after all.

SQUEE. Spinning is so fun. It should be, like, an Olympic sport!! Cardigan would totes win, and get like a jazillion gold medals and set a world record. Wait wait wait. Not a world record. No no. A jazillion world records!!!! Anyways, she stopped spinning around when she heard a familiar voice. She daintily eased herself off ever so slightly, as to not fall off. "Well hey Asher! How are ya?" Cardigan asked him. She like totally remembered him. They were like the only two firsties on the Quidditch team last year!! She just, didn't really ever get to know him or anything..

Maxwell looked at his watch. "I still have another hour before class." His watch reminded him of something. "I have something for you, I bought it before we came back and i just forgot about it." He started walking back to the swings and started going through his school bag.

The second year watched as Sarah refused the hospital wing. She didn't blame her honestly. She'd heard not so great things about the nurse and was a little nervous about going there. Ella bit her lip nervously as she watched Sarah slowly try and lift herself, hoping she could do it. When her arms gave way and she hit the ground, Ella jumped. "That's not good." She said quietly. Yup, Sarah didn't know it but she had just met Captain Obvious.

When she asked for help, Ella hurried over and offered her arms and shoulders to help support Sarah as she tried to rise again. She nodded when she said it would be good to go to the hospital. "Yeah, seeing as you can barely move I think that'd be wise." She smiled at this, though it was small. She was still quite worried after all. "I can't believe I hurt someone...usually I only hurt myself." Ella said matter-of-factly as she helped pull Sarah to her feet and head towards the castle.

She nodded. Sarah took Ella's arms and rose slowly. It's always good to have a support. She leaned over Ella, as they slowly walked towards the castle doors. "I hope I'm not crushing you" she said. Cheer is the only this that keeps you going. She smiled. How she didn't think she'd be walking like this one day. Sarah came back from her thought-line when Ella said something. Hurt yourself? She just laughed out loud but held her stomach a few moments later. "Haha, you're so like my cousin!" she exclaimed. "And no need to look so guilty" she said, looking at Ella's worried face. "I won't die so soon-" she paused, "-should take my revenge on you" she said trying to keep a serious face. But couldn't, she just grinned again.

They walked slowly. "Must be a muscle cramp or something" she mumbled. That's a muggle term. She wouldn't know it right? They soon vacated the playground and reached the entrance door, onward to the hospital wing.

Well, it had been a while since they arrived at Hogwarts, and the fourth year still didn’t get to see if anything had changed around the grounds. So, giving up the idea of running towards the library and staying there for hours, the Ravenclaw decided to go for a walk. Yes. There were probably not going to be many more sunny days around here.

It was such a wonderful day, and no classes too since it was weekend. Beezus was just strolling around the grounds, enjoying the scenery of her fellow Hogwartians - some where just talking, others were chasing each other, a few were practicing spells, and there were even those who were sleeping on benches!

She had promised Indy that they would meet up that day and they'd have a lazy, crazy walk on the grounds. And what interesting place should she hang out while she wait? Of course, the new place. The Playground. It was a GREAT place indeed, mostly there were younger students playing around. "Good job." she uttered, meaning to say that to the Groundskeeper who have been wonderful enough to add that feature to Hogwarts.

Then she saw a set of swings. Just what she needed. And lookiee! There was also Gwen, swinging on one! With a grin, she walked to where her fellow Ravenclaw was, and upon nearing, she said, "Gwen! How are you?"

She finally pulled herself up with a little grunt. Oh. Well that was sort of. . .embarrassing. Oh well! Ronnie stood up straight and looked around.

"I'M KING OF THE WORLD!"

she cried, throwing her hands up into the air. She was so high up! Well, not really. Her head turned to see more higher towers and such. She'd probably more likely be king of the world up there than down here. "C'mon, Oakey!" she said, grabbing his arm and running up to the tower.

She's King of the World is she? Oakey had a mental laugh as she pulled herself up after the ladder disappeared on her too and she grunted to pull herself up. Guess that mean I'm Queen? Before he could laugh at his own snide thought. His hand was being yanked and the two of them were running around the castle like they were 5 years old again. Where are going? He asked not letting go of her grip and letting Ronnie just lead him to her destination.

‘I’m good. Just hanging around…’, the girl said with a small smirk on her face. Just hanging around sounded good, but actually, she had lots of things to fix… ‘And you? I haven’t seen you in a while…’, Gwendolyn mused as she started swinging a bit faster.

Today was such a nice day. Classes were over, dinner wouldn't be for a little while, so Marie went exploring outside. At the playground, she saw Max and Taylor. Smiling, she ran over to them. "Hey you guys, how are you?" She saw the box with the watch. "Taylor that's so pretty." She smiled at Max. "You have great taste Max!"

"Yeah, it's really Cornelius," he confirmed with another soft chuckle, attempting to go faster by kicking the ground off the side of the roundabout. As Paulie suggested that he sounded like a Roman general, he looked up with honest amusement on his expression, letting out another laugh and a grin to match. "Well thanks, but I don't think that's where my parents were going with it," he admitted, still trying to go faster on the roundabout that was being ridiculously slow in his eyes. "I think it's some kind of old family name, actually. He might've been a general, though." He let out another laugh before looking up to suddenly find Paulie in front of him.

And not only was he right in front of him, but he was suddenly starting to whirl the roundabout around! THIS HEAD BOY WAS A MIND READER!

"If I had a weak stomach, I'D BE A WEAK GENERAL!" Cornelius replied jokingly, though it came out more like a yell because he was quickly gaining speed on the roundabout, releasing the little handles and instead spreading out across the thing so he looked more like he was surfing on it than anything else. GENERAL CORNELIUS!

"WHERE DOES PAULIE COME FROM?" he called over the wind being generated from all of this playground surfing.

Maxwell smiled and kissed her back. "Good, I was hoping you would. Now you have something nice to wear with these awful uniforms." He said smiling, he didn't mind the uniforms but he knew she hated them.

Hey, hey there. HEHE. Beezus finally arrived to where her fellow Ravenclaw was, and seeing a vacant swing beside, she stepped over to it, stood in front of it and perused over its chains. "Hanging around? Don't you have anyone to meet?" Like a friend or a boyfriend?

PFFFT.

Beezus smirked teasingly, turned and after a deep intake of air settled herself gently on the swing's seat, then she heaved herself back and forth with slight force before answering Gwen's next inquiry. "I'm waiting for my best friend. You know Indy right?" she asked, not taking a glance at Gwen and swinging a bit faster. "Yeah..when was the last time we talked? Like last term? At the kitchens?"

Yeap. Gwen had gaily volunteered to help her make cupcakes but they didn't have the chance to get the task finished because of some...things. "Are you still not considering the Quidditch team?" This time, she asked with her head at her friend's direction.

Going down the slide, she laughed. Finally calmed down from having such a good time she all of a sudden glanced over towards the swings. At first she thought it was just another student swinging on the swings, but it connected with her that the person on the swing was Glenn.

Stupid swing. She glared over at it and looked around to see her friend, "Hey!" She said, "I'm fine, I'm fine." She smiled, "I'm gonna go up there.." She said, turning to the tower with one of those rope thingys hanging down. She'd try climbing up.

"You coming?" She asked, grabbing the rope and firmly placing her feet on the wood. She'd master this playground. She made her way up the surprisingly tall tower. Suppose they could make taller towers without the risk of people falling when they had things like the cushioning charm. She was nearly at the top when the rope decided to become super slippery. Instead of falling, Glenn grapped onto the post near the top and flung herself onto the platform of the tower.

"Yes!" She yelled, "Take that playground." Glenn stuck out her tongue in the general direction of the swings. The blonde flopped down and crossed her legs, "Come on up!" She yelled over the edge. She suspected the rope had gone back to normal.
