Maxwell sighed. "I-I don't know...I'm not sure i want to spend Christmas with people who hate me, Damon, Rowan, Henry...doesn't really sound like a merry christmas." He said forgetting they say 'happy christmas' in europe.

Tay tried to hide her disappointment. "Oh okay... and merry?" She giggled at that.

But she still could've turned him away when it began. Common sense that Hailey Morrison lacked. Not all the time but when things we kind of obvious in a way. But still. "More like I don't want to murder anyone. Whenever I hold her, I'm going to lay down in bed and just have her there. Plus, I'll make sure she doesn't roll or anything," If that happened, Mikey should totally just incarcerate himself right now.

Mikey gave her a "Are you serious?" type of look. Did Hailey not know that at a few months, the parents can find out the baby's gender. And THIS is why he's the nerd between them. "It's called a sonogram, Rose. That's when the parents can find out of the baby is a girl or boy," Pfft, that's how his parents found out they were having twins. "Arianna will try to make her into a girly girl. Trust me, she'll work wonders with that child,"

Maxwell saw the disappointment. "Do you want me to come for Christmas?" He asked her "And yes, In America we say 'Merry Christmas' not 'Happy Christmas' Like people do here.." He said with a small chuckle.

Tay gave a half smile, "I was hoping you would." She messed with her hair. "Interesting..."

Maxwell smiled just a little. "Maybe I will, I haven't decided against it...not completely anyways, we'll see." He said hoping this might cheer her up.

Taylor smiled and laughed, "Okay." She hugged him.

Maxwell hugged her back. "I'd have trouble saying no to you and those puppy dog eyes of yours..." He said and then thought. "I thought you were staying with your dad's family?" He said wondering why she changed her mind.

Tay smiled and laughed, "Good." She smirked then shrugged, "I am not on the best terms with them...." Taylor sighed.

Maxwell smiled. "I guess you know my weakness now..." He said jokingly though it was true. "I'm sorry, what did they do?" He asked assuming she wasn't at fault, in his mind she never was.

Tay laughed and smiled, "Oh i do?" She faked an evil laugh, "Now i can get you to do whatever!" Taylor faked an evil grin, "Roll over!" She teased him then to the family thing, "We just got into a fight." Taylor shrugged.

"Psssh, you're not a murderer," Hailey said with a wave of her hand. It wasn't like he was klutzy, either. She was pretty confident that child would safe in Mikey's hands. Unless he was on his meds or something.
"Sounds like a good idea." Beds were always safe. But he'd have to make sure there were pillows surrounding her--imagine if she fell! Which reminded her, when would SHE get to meet this baby? Hailey wasn't that fond of babies but relatives and friends' babies were an exception.
"So when will I get to meet, uhh...what's her name again?" Had they named her at all yet? If not, maybe she could persuade Mr. and Mrs. Evans to name her something really cool! Like Rose!

Mikey's look made her feel stupid so she looked at the clouds instead. How was she supposed to know about stuff like that?! Her parents were Healers, but they didn't deliver babies! Sheesh. "Well, sor-ry, I didn't know!" She said impatiently. It's not like she needed that kind of knowledge anyway.

"Girly girls are always fun! But you'll be all left out..." She said about Arianna's grand plan to convert his little sister. Maybe Mikey could bring out the 'boy' in her...if that was possible. Though she'd love to dress her up with Arianna.

Maxwell laughed a little at Taylor. "How can I roll over when i'm standing?" He said with a smile on his face, trying so hard not to admire her, it wasn't working. "I'm sorry, do i need to hurt anyone?" He said still defensive over her.

Tay laughed, "Ummm.... i dont know.... spin around?" She giggled and smiled at him. To the hurting anyone thing, Taylor shook her head, "No... no need to hurt anyone." Tay sighed and kissed his cheek, "But thanks for asking."

Maxwell spun around in a circle to make her laugh. He nodded. "Okay, I'd take on anyone who ever hurt you." He said with a crooked smile showing top and bottom canine teeth, like that of a large cat.

Taylor giggled and smiled as he spun around. She smiled and saw the canine teeth, "Awww my s---" Tay had almost called him, her sweet lion... she had stopped herself just in time. "How sweet of you...." Tay gave a half smile.

Maxwell grinned a little catching it and looked at the ground still showing the same teeth. "Taylor, I think some part of me will always be your Lion...Besides you're still a songbird." He said making eye contact with her.

Tay smiled and kissed his cheek, "You are still a sweet lion." She laughed and smiled. Taylor nodded, "Yeah i am still a songbird." Tay looked into his eyes.

Maxwell smiled. "As long as i'm a Lion i think some part of me will be your Lion..." He said sweetly. "You are a beautiful songbird with a magnificent voice..."

She smiled and reached up, stroking his cheek. "As long as i sing, some part of me will be your songbird as well." Taylor blushed, "You are sweet, Maxwell."

"Pfft, not yet," Mikey protested. He didn't want to be one, so Mikey was not going to hold the baby until she was strong enough to hold her head. They say that's the most fragile part of babies. But maybe Mikey would just watch her from a distance. Her crib would be the safest place for his little sister to be. Oh right, he never told his Rose what his sister's name would be. It was better to prepare her and his ears for the upcoming events. "Okay, her name is.. ROSE," Mikey laughed. Now it was going to be confusing whenever he's call out Rose. Why didn't his parents pick a different name?

"When we graduate, we are so living in the muggle world. You're to wizardry," But it was true. Hailey only knew things about the wizarding world and barely any of the muggle one. But then why didn't she pay attention in Muggle Studies? "And I'm perfectly fine with being left out of your girly things,"

Maxwell smiled. "Only for you...I'll always love your singing...Nothing made me smile more.." He said wanting so badly to kiss her again, but he had his goodbye kiss. They're relationship was over...But kissing someone didn't mean you were together...But still he contained himself.

Tay blushed, "That is sweet of you to say. Thank you... i always loved hearing you play your pan flute." She smiled at him... oh how she longed to kiss him one last time but alas they did the goodbye kiss..

Maxwell looked into her eyes, longingly. "One more?" He asked hoping she would know he meant a kiss and that she too wanted one like he did. It didn't mean they were together, it would just be a kiss right?

Tay bit her lip, thinking whether to go with her heart or brain and consented with her heart. She nodded, "Yeah one more." She smiled and laughed, taking his face with both of her hands and kissing him.... again. This kiss was longer and sweeter than the one before it though she tried not to let the longing show.
