Maxwell shook his head, not moving his either. "I guess my American is as well...I don't really know what i can and can't say? compliments or just speaking my mind..I don't want to mess things up with you...I want to keep you close."

Tay blushed and smiled, "You wont mess it up." She laughed and kissed his cheek, "I cant be mad right now, I am too happy." Taylor rubbed her thumb against the back of his hand.

Maxwell smiled. "Okay...I'm happy too. I don't ever want you out of my life...a week was too long." He said he felt lost without her for week.

Taylor nodded, "I agree, it has been too long." She laughed and smiled, "So what is new with your life?"

Maxwell shrugged. "Nothing really, I haven't been in classes as much." He said with a small laugh. "What about you?"

Taylor shrugged, "I sneaked away from here for the weekend...." She sighed not realizing they were still holding hands.

Nettie was going on a run, something she thought she was going to be doing a lot of while at Hogwarts but had found very little time to do it since she arrived. Between being busy with the demands of classes and meeting the other students, having fun and trying to get enough sleep to keep her body going, the little first year had missed her runs.

Sitting beside a tree, she stretched her legs out in front of her and started to stretch. She was just about ready to get to her feet and start running when she got distracted by a bird chirping on a low hanging branch and began to watch it with curiosity.

Amber needed some fresh air. She was tired of being cooped up in the castle for the past few days. It reminded her too much of the time when she was stuck with her mom at home. Amber took the path ways toward the lake...or was it the forbidden forest? She always got so lost on her little trips out to the ground.

That's when Amber noticed a cute bird chriping in the trees. She stopped to watch it for a minuet and nocited another girl doing the same thing. Amber waved toward the girl and walked over to her then. "Cute isn't it?" She added pointing toward the bird that was singing them a song.

Edric shrugged his shoulder as Evelyn explain he should enjoy his last years before entering the 'real world'. "I am. I'm doing more reading and more avoiding people than ever before. I call that 'fun'," said the cynical boy. It was true, though. There was nothing more fun than NOT having to deal with people.

And then the girl was teasing him for smiling earlier. PSH. Edric rolled his eyes but for once said nothing. Instead, he went back to her earlier question about the swimming. "'Course I do." He loved swimming, actually. That and running were his favourite ways of exercising. He wasn't much into sports, though, not even Quidditch.

When Evelyn went on to finally share a little French with him, the Gryffindor boy raised his dark eyebrows, impressed. He didn't know a word of french, so if Ev's accent was right on or off, he couldn't tell. Either way, it sounded beautiful. "Very nice, mademoiselle," complimented the boy.

Maxwell nodded. "How did you manage that?" He said not realizing it either. "Where did you head off to?" He asked sweetly.

"Damon sneaked me away to Puck's place." She sighed. "I just needed to get away from this place." Taylor looked at him, "And i had to avoid your dad and my mom, least my mom realizes that i wasnt where i was suppose to be." Tay laughed and smirked.

Maxwell nodded. I should have known he thought, but it didn't matter anymore she wasn't his. "Okay, yeah i'm sure You're Mum wouldn't have been happy..I think Dad would have been more interested in how you managed to get away...how did you?" He asked she still hadn't answered his question.

She laughed and smiled, "It is pretty easy. I mean it isnt the first time we have sneaked away, no, that was last term...." Taylor thought back to the day she found out about Carina and tears fell. "We used the cloak..."

Maxwell nodded. "You snuck off when you found out about your sister..." He said piecing it together out loud and wiping the tear without hesitation.

Tay nodded and let him wipe her tear, "Yeah, we did..." She sighed, "Sorry...." Taylor looked away.

Maxwell shook his head. "No, don't be." He said hugging her. "It's okay." He said trying to be there for her if she'd let him.

Tay buried her head then looked at him. She sighed, "Thank you..."

Maxwell gave her a half smile and held her close. "You're welcome...I'll always be here for you, anytime you need me use the mirror and I'll come running, okay?"

Tay nodded and kept her head on his chest, "Yeah okay..." She have a half smile. Taylor kinda of liked still being close to him but she tried to ignore it...

Maxwell smiled just a little bit. "I know you're strong, the strongest i've ever met...But if you need...or just want someone to lean on, I'll always be around." He said enjoying having her close, but trying to turn it off.

Taylor nodded, "Yeah and if you need someone to lean on, i am always here too." She went on her toes to kiss his cheek.

This time Maxwell kissed hers back. "I'll hold you to that..." He said smiling.

Taylor laughed and smiled, "Okay, you do that." She glazed up at him. "Do you treat all your friends like this?" Tay raised an eyebrow and giggled.

Maxwell laughed a little. "Only the very beautiful ones." He said keeping up with his small talk.

She blushed a little, "You are still a sweet talker and a charmer." Taylor laughed and smiled. "Would you like to dance?" Tay couldnt remember when they last danced.... and she danced with friends all the time so it wasnt like it would be awkward... right?
