A fierce little West, just like was the case during many summers when it was he and Aspen against the cousin horde, would have gone back into the fray, small fists flying, concerned only by protecting his sister, if it wasn't for Aspen's calming and now restraining grip on him, and her attempts to cover his mouth, and the strange hurting and poking in his chest.

And the professor was asking what was going on and that big boy was answering and he was WRONG and LYING!

"Nuh-UH! He YELLED at MY SISTER and THEN he THREATENED HER!" West protested, letting out a wheeze and putting his other hand over the sore bit in his ribcage. Mouth covering was a fail when he was this worked up.

He would tell the MINISTER! And and... and TWO FORMER MINISTERS! And... and... HIS DAD who could CURSE HIM and BREAK HIM and MAKE THAT BIG BOY PAY!

Except that really, Leon Odessa wasn't at all prone to violence or lashing out and would have solved things with a few carefully chosen, but stern and understanding words.

As if he could ever reach him, both physically and behind-the-closed-doors. João took a mental note to stay away from both of them.

Penny went over all the teeth thoroughly making sure that she got in between each and every fang. The Ravvie had to get a second piece of floss at some point because the first had become too dirty. She wasn't sure how much time had passed when she finally straightened up and looked at her handy work.

She glanced over at Kurumi. "Whatcha think? Did I miss anything?"

Breathing out slowly as he moved down the line on the teeth, every tiny movement the plant made caused him to jump but not as drastically. Though he kept his eyes on it. "Yep." he said in response to her question, but too concentrated to really answer any better. Those teeth were sharp enough to slice his hand or wrist if he didn't pay attention to what he was doing!

Finally breathing a sigh of relief when he reached the last one, he lifted out the floss, making a face at the bits of food all along the string. "Thet's disgusting!" he said as he pinched one end carrying it to the garbage.

When that piece of floss was no longer good, she tossed it to the side and got a new piece. She threaded it through the plant's teeth and began to move it back and forth. She laughed a little at Liesel's comment regarding the flossing. "I'll say," she said with a laugh. She slid the floss out of the teeth and moved on to another set. She threaded it through those teeth and began the same back and forth motion again.

Not him, of course...because his teeth were perfect...but to his mother. But he'd seen documentaries about things.

Bleh, deciding to take one for the team, Dylan moved forward, immediately scratching the Piranha's top/head thing.

It was a shot in the dark, but hopefully some good, old-fashioned coaxing would get it's mouth open and this scrubbing back on track.

Making his way tooth after tooth, mouth after mouth, Kaiden worked on flossing the plant until he was finally done. "Professor, I'm finished." He said, raising his hand. "Is there anything else I need to do?"

Jezzabelle had managed to clean up the teeth until they were perfectly clean and shiny. She had gotten everything out with the floss and the lovely little still sleeping plant looked perfectly adorable.

She moved to the sink and she cleaned the tooth brush up the best she could. Removing the bits of this or that that had gotten stuck in-between the bristles. Once that seemed satisfactory she went back to her work station and grabbed up the used floss so that she could dispose of it.

She turned the Fanged Geranium and inspected the teeth one last time to ensure that all was done though she was pretty positive it was. Nodding she raised her hand," Professor Bentley I am finished but if there are any extra Fanged Geraniums left I'd like to do another. I know class is ending soon but I really wouldn't mind staying after." She just wanted to keep busy and this was the best way.

"The Packers..." Vickers nodded, naming the famous American football team. He was still trying to pry the toothbrush out when he saw Dylan coax the Piranha plant to opening its mouth.

And open it did. Only to be followed with an almighty BUUURRRRRRRP!!!!

"Oh! Gro--!!!!" Vickers spun away as quickly as he could, but nothing was stopping that putrid stench from enveloping him and everybody else unfortunate to be near him. He staggered away for a moment, trying to keep his breakfast from making an unscheduled re-appearance.

He turned back to it warily, the plant seemingly smiling now in his discomfort. "I'm done with that spot." he mumbled gruffly to Dylan then shoved the toothbrush onto another part of the Piranha plant's mouth, scrubbing furiously.

Oh. He did hear Professor Bentley's reprimand, just as he was walking away as silently as he could. Now, that was amusing and deserved a laugh, though he probably owed the girl a thanks, for she distracted professor with her dislike for the Gryffindors.
