Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread or cookies on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.
Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.
"That is good." Tay smiled and laughed then nodded, "Yeah sure, why not? It is better than standing near him." Taylor took the bread he offered and pulled it into pieces. She tossed them out to the ducks.
Maxwell nodded. "I love feeding the ducks." He said throwing a few pieces of bread in the water. "How were the rest of those classes the other day?" He asked smiling at her.
"Please, I deserved it Maxwell; but I'm fine, Min. fixed it for me." He looked at Taylor, sharing her iciness, "Charmed to see you again too, Princess." He sighed sitting down on the grass.

Taylor shot a glare at Damon, "You are an idiot, Mercada. Did you really think i would say yes? Kissing me in front of my boyfriend? That, right there, is a little bit of a death wish." She huffed and flipped her hair. To Maxwell, "My class was fine except that he is in it."
He shook his head, "Right, because you would've if you had the chance." He glared at her, "I can't count the number of times I've heard you make that threat." He sighed. See? Wasn't kidding when he said that their friendship was ruined because he did something stupid...

Maxwell sat for a moment listening to them bicker. "STOP! both of you, Taylor if i can put up with Damon for months so can you for Min's sake and Damon bickering with her isn't going to help anything, calm yourself and act your age..." Minerva was headed to the pond to see all her friends and Damon when she got closer she heard them arguing, all her hope disappeared. She glared at them and came around where they can see her "ENOUGH" she growled a bit. "This is ridiculous." she looked at Maxwell hoping he was ready. "Maxwell and I have been talking and we both feel that you two need to just stop. We are all friends and you two can still be friends if you would just let it go." she knew Damon was still hurt and still loved Taylor, even if she was hoping it would change, but they could at least try to be friend, couldn't they.
"Not my fault my dad feel in love with her." He glared back, but then just shut his mouth. When Minnie walked up, he sighed in relief, the one person he could be around, he slid his hand into hers, "Well... I'm sorry, she just hit a sore spot."
Tay sent the glare to Maxwell, "I already have to put up with him at my aunt's house now and now school isnt a place i can avoid him!" She sighed and sent the glare back at Damon.
Maxwell looked back in an intense way, giving her a look as to say 'If i can do it so can you!' "I'm not asking you to be his best friend but you don't have to be so hostile with him..." He said in a calmer voice.

Cass stared at the feathery creatures both in awe and confusion as she made her way to the pond and sat down at the edge of it, taking care not to get any part of her robes wet. After all, she didn't want to walk down into the dungeons smelling like pond water. That was just gross.
The, as if sensing that someone was staring holes into their little ducky bodies, one of the ducks, one with white feathers, glided through the water towards her, eyeing the piece of bread that she had just brought out from a brown paper bag.
The duck quacked at her loudly as it glided even closer until it was near enough to grab the bread with its yellow beak, effectively biting her hand in the process.
"Ow!" She cried out with a glare towards the duck who had now swallowed her bread "Stupid duck." she then grumbled, cradling her not-so-injured hand carefully.
Wait, were they even allowed to feed them?
Christopher headed down to the Duck Pond, hoping for a quiet place to read. Yes, normally one would go to the library to read, but the library was crowded, and who ever went to the duck pond anyway? Nobody ever, that's who. So when he saw the silhouette of a girl standing there, he was very surprised. Wondering what sort of a person would actually spend their time investigating the boring Muggle creatures, the sixteen year old walked over to get a closer look. And when he saw who it was, he wasn't the least surprised. There stood the one and only Cassandra Prewett, cradling her hand and scowling that famous scowl at the ducks.
"You know, you should probably be a little more careful next time you try to feed an animal. Probably by not sticking your hand in its mouth," he teased, observing the scene with a chuckle. Only Cass.
Taylor looked at Minerva, "We arent best friends at all. I dont love him even as a family member. There is no friendship at all." She sighed, not looking at Damon.
Tay looked back at Maxwell and refused to answer his look. "I dont want to see him despite him being one of my best friend's boyfriend."

Tay sighed and looked at Maxwell. "I just dont like Damon. He is nothing but a jerk." She crossed her arms a little.
Maxwell looked into Taylor's eyes and sighed a little. "I'm on your side, okay?" He said sweetly. "But you have to pick your battles, Minnie is your friend and so you have to at least be civil for her, can you do that?" He asked as a humble request not a command.

Minerva couldn't help but sigh, why were they doing this. She knew they both cared for each other, she had talked with them individually. They all confided in her. "Taylor you do not hate him, your just confused, shocked, and even hurt. You two have been through so much, I know you can get through this as well." she looked at Damon and tried to smile "Of course I'm trying to stop it, I care to much for all of you to see you like this."
