Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread or cookies on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.
Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.
Ronnie laughed. "You don't even need to ask me." she said, giving him a squeeze. She nodded in agreement. "It is indeed nice." she said, opening her eyes and looking at him. She grinned. "Yes, I have." she replied. "I love all the cute little ducks." she said with a sigh. "But they're not as cute as you of course." she said, winking at him.
Justin blushed deeply when he heard Ronnie say that he was cute. " Why , Thankyou, Dear. Would you like to join me for a bite to eat? " he asked as he sat back up.
Tay gave a half smile and laughed, "Kinda of cool?" She grinned, "You are definitely unique, Mar." Taylor sat down next to her friend. "Nah, i'm not hurting any more... We talked and ended most of the hurt feelings so all is good so far..."
Marie laughed. "Thanks Tay," she grinned. "I'm glad you're not hurting anymore. It's never fun to have hurt feelings between friends. Especially when they're your best friends." She smiled sadly. "I'm glad it's better now."
Tay nodded, "Yeah i am glad that the worst is over too." She smiled and laughed. "So are you going to try out for quidditich despite being a firstie?" Taylor looked over at her friend.
Marie shook her head, keeping a straight face. "I don't want to make people feel bad that I'm the best." She laughed. "Actually, I just want to enjoy the matches from the stands this year." She nudged Taylor, "Don't want to get injured just yet."
Tay laughed and smiled, "If i dont get on the team wanna go to the games with me?" She looked at her friend, "I was a reserve last year... and i think i am doing worse this year than last year." Taylor sighed.
Yes, he is attracted by her knowledge of horses. Don't judge. XD

"Yeah, that's true," but if that's all you could see yourself doing, then she saw no problem at all in pursuing the career.
Wait. Abraxans? "Really? That's amazing!" A creature that could fly wasn't as predictable as a broom, but it was still pretty awesome. "Though, I like Granians a little better," they were faster, and smaller. But he'd mentioned Thestrals..., "But...shouldn't you be able to see them...?" she didn't complete her sentence, her eyes held a curious look. He wouldn't have thought of branching out if he couldn't see them, right? And in order to see Thestrals...
...she didn't like the end of that.
"Like something you feel like doing now? So, your dream has changed." Clearly, no? What was it, then? More studies?
That was cool. Father-daughter bonding over sport? A bit unusual, but Keefer approved. It was unique. And awesome. "No, I haven't. Tell you what. If they ever play the Magpies, I'll take you. Deal?" he said, sticking his hand out to shake on it, then thinking better of it and attempting to pass off the gesture as a way to smooth his hair. Girls... don't shake on things. At least, he'd never witnessed girls shaking on things. "Well, now I know where your dad got his loyalties from, that makes sense." But something about that love at first sight bit...
He sensed her mood shift slightly. Was she.. exasperated? Maybe... but it didn't last long, so he didn't dwell on it. Her reply did not lighten the small gray cloud that had settled over his thoughts when his future came up. Perhaps he was foolish to wish that it would help, but he had this funny feeling that if anyone could make him feel better about it, she could.
Slightly taken aback, by her reaction, he grinned widely. "Y-you think so?" People usually just politely changed the topic when he was brave enough to talk about the ranch. Which is likely why he didn't talk about it much. But then.. then she blew him away. She knows about Granians? NO ONE knew about Granians. Thestrals, yes. Abraxans, sometimes. But Granians? Never. Until now. His heartbeat increased almost imperceptibly, but increase it did.
..and then skip a few beats. "Well, yes..." he said tentatively, looking down and to the left while his fingers absently picked some grass. He had never divulged this information to anyone at Hogwarts; it was personal, still fresh in his memory. But something was prompting him to do so now. "But.. I can.." Did he dare? "When I was little.." He closed his eyes, watching the movie play on the screen of his eyelids. "Me and the neighbor boy, a Muggle... We were climbing a tree and... he fell.." He looked up at her, a pleading look in his eyes. "I couldn't do anything about it, I swear." That had been the worst day of his life, and he just wanted her to tell him that she didn't blame him for anything. It was imperative to him now that he had shared this, his worst secret. He didn't know why he had shared it, but now that he had, all he could do was hope she wouldn't reject him as a terrible person.

The duck pond...
Jonathan hasn't really got the glimpse of this place. And he was quite surprise that this place got stuck for two terms already. Jonathan did however miss the treehouse. He missed that place so much actually. It was really a big shock seeing as is just burned down like the rest of that term. That term seems to be involve with lots of fire, heck even the Potions lab was burned as well.
Anyways, walking Ash over to the duck pond to play. The poor crup hasn't been out ever since he came to Hogwarts. Looking at him at the common room, he was practically begging to go out. Well, it is in their nature to have fun so Jonathan decided to go out and give him both of them some fresh air and besides, autumn finally came. More reasons to go out, really.
Jonathan was happy when he can finally feel the cold wind in his face. Autumn is his favorite season and he's just happy that it is finally here. He doesn't know what it is about this season that he likes too much... he just does. Jonathan took a seat on the big rock near the small pond as Ash to enjoy himself with this.

She had been nagging Jonathan to show her his pet dog because for some unknown reason she had developed a liking to dogs, though she preferred the larger ones, such as labradors and german shepherds, those were the awesome breeds. However, she was still not letting the opportunity of meeting a small beagle pass that easily. Hence, her agreement to meet the Slytherin.

Jonathan recently owled his mother about baking him cookies but it's been 3 days and still his owl is still not back. Coal is a very obedient owl so Jonathan doesn't really doubt that the owl just ate them. No. Victoria has sent food so many times, Coal hasn't really betrayed him by eating them. He's positive about this one.
He's just eyeing Ash, he's not doing that much. For a little crup, he's not the most active one their is. He does tricks sometimes but only when he feels like it. Most of the time, he'd like to stay in one corner and kind of becomes very territorial with his space. Which is why, Jonathan makes sure he doesn't roam around that much around the dorm rooms.
Then out of nowhere, Beezus just popped out. Jonathan narrowed his eyes at her. Really? "Did you have to shout?" and looked back at his crup, seeing that he is trying to play with the water on the side. And his head went snapped back at her when she mentioned a pup. PUP? POP? What? Jonathan smiled and patted her head just likes everytime they meet. "It's a crup not a pup" he replied as he pointed towards Ash. "It's still a baby."
A duck pond? Hogwarts had a duck pond? How did he not know? Ducks were one of the many animals he liked most. He couldn't really think of a particular reason. Maybe it was just because they were so calm. Either way, he was now going to visit the duck pond and probably feed them. Ducks ate pretty much everything, right? Good! He didn't have any bread. Why would he have bread anyway? His pockets were usually filled with cookies or candy. But he couldn't really give a pond full of ducks candy to eat, could he? Something in his mind told him that was one thing they wouldn't eat. Candy would be too chewy for a duck to eat. They only had little beaks and he didn't think they had teeth. But if they didn't have teeth, how did they manage to break bread up? So many questions. Maybe he could take this as an opportunity to research ducks. Yeah! That sounded like a good idea.
He wandered down the crowded duck pond and smiled at the sight of many ducks crowding round different groups of people. Wow! They were such pretty little ducks. Even the ducklings were pretty colours considering their feathers -or should he say fluff- hadn't actually gotten to the colour they would be once they'd grown up just like their parents. The different types of ducks was unbelievable. But he didn't know any names. Not without researching it at least. Maybe someone at the duck pond knew? But he wasn't really one to go asking people he probably didn't know the different names for different types of ducks.
As he got closer to the edge of the duck pond, he noticed someone stood feeding them cookies. Cookies? Well, at least he knew one more thing that ducks ate. He crouched down at the edge of the duck pond but not too close for him to fall in watching as a few ducks came swimming toward him hoping he had some food for them. He searched his pockets for something to give them finding a piece of bread. How did a piece of bread get in his pocket? He didn't remember putting any in his pocket from the last time he was in the great hall. He took the piece of bread from his pocket and began breaking it up and tossing it into the water watching as the ducks picked it up and ate it one piece at a time.
Zack was feeding the duck when he noticed a boy coming near and sitting at his side. He looked up at him to see his face. He was feeding the ducks too as he noticed him removing bread from his pocket and throwing pieced of it in the pod for the ducks.
He looked at him and smiled. "Hey" he said. He pointed at the breads and said "So, you like feeding ducks as well" he said, a smile papering on his face.

It's been awhile since they last seen each other but still the hyper behavior has got to stop. Jonathan gave Beezus a devious smirk, as payback, he suddenly tackled her hair--- girls hated that, right? And gave her a very tight hug. "And that's for screaming and damaging my hearing" he told her.
Keep doing what? Jonathan smirked at her. It's his signature move. He pats every lower year he knows. Daichi, Louisa--- but recently he no longer has done that, there's Jeanne but she was the same age as he is and Beezus. "Don't complain, princess" he scoffed and stuck his tongue out like a three year old. But that was just Jonathan teasing Beezus. It's always fun teasing Beezus.

Why the hair? She wasn't hair conscious but a guy tackling off her hair like that, of course, it was supposed to get messy! So she hurriedly smoothed it out when Jonathan suddenly hugged her! "Ewwwww! Get off! Get off!" She started screaming again. Too bad Jonathan, that only made her go loud once more. She shuddered jokingly afterwards. "Why the hugging Jonathan? It's creepyyyyyyyyyyyyy.." said the Ravenclaw, putting emphasis on the last syllable. As much as she looked at him as a brother, hugging without permission was just awkward. No one had hugged her before, at least not intentionally. "Next time, if you wanna hug me you better ask permission first." Yeap, that was the law.
Beezus smiled at that tongue sticking out and the princess comment. Maaan, Jonathan was gonna graduate that term and she was sure to miss his taunting. She didn't have someone like him anymore. "I'm your princess?" she asked, grinning childishly.
"He's so small." she commented as he let the dog lay down on the grass. She didn't pet the dog yet, but she stared at it longingly. Could she get a dog now? "Oh? Who gave it to you?" Kurumi maybe?

Gary just had a walk around Hogwarts alone. Yes, alone. Actually he did want to ask Zhenya to have a walk together, but she seemed too sad for now, she also said that she need to write something to her best friend. Maybe she need to spend her time alone without him. Somehow the blonde guy was confused about his feeling toward her. Ah.. better not to think about her anymore. He need to refresh his mind. That's okay if she just wanted to be her friend. He couldn't force her.
He stepped his foot to the duck pond. Hogwarts seemed have so many magnificient place. He tied his shoelace up because he didn't want to step his own and suddenly fall to the ground? That's ridiculous. Noticed that this place was a bit crowded, Gary enjoyed this place just by himself. He sat near the pond and tossed some bread to the duck.

That's unfair, there's a Hug a Slytherin day for Merlin's sake which Jonathan still thinks should be banned. Hugging Slytherins are not the best ideas one could really think of. Jonathan still remembers the time when a Hufflepuff, out of nowhere, just decided to hug him. Thinking about it now makes him cringe.
"It's not creepy" he said fixing his his coat when Beezus managed to fumble it during her 'struggle' to shove him off because he was doing a nice gesture. "it's just a hug not the end of the world" he said leaning down to her height. Beezus is such a tiny girl. Wait! Jonathan hasn't grew this year right? Nope. His mother didn't complain about buying him new Slytherin uniforms.

I'm your princess? What now??? "it was an expression" he said emphasizing every word of it. Well, she is kind of acting like one right now. First, with the hugging and then the patting of the head. Geez. He didn't want to argue further, so he just stopped adding more banters. Yeah, save some for later.
Jonathan is just really happy to have Ash around. Other than his owl, Jonathan has never had any pets ever since he could remember. His mother had a kneazle but he never liked that kneazle, that creature was evil. She never liked him one bit and so did he. Jonathan smiled to himself when Beezus asked him. It was a fun birthday actually. He didn't celebrate it in London though, they were in France at the time. So who gave the little crup to him? He glanced over to Beezus with a grin on his face "Jeanne gave it to me." adding a nod.

After class (not that Victoria feels she benefited much from it), this crazy seventh year Snakie decided to take a light stroll in the Grounds, which to be honest, is what Victoria's dream house yard to be like. Of course, before she can own a ground as big as Hogwarts, she needs to purchase a MANSION...no wiat...a CASTLE first. *NODS*
Victoria told herself to stop dreaming and skipped her way to the Duckie Pond. Oooh....little, prettiful duckies!!!
Victoria observed the swimming duckies for a while with her curious eyes, though she felt totally relaxed. Her eyes glanced at a boy near her tossing bread at the duckies. Dear Merlin, SHE HAD FORGOTTEN THE BREAD AGAIN!!!
Scowling silently at her terrible memory, she half crawled, half rolled herself to the other Snakie and tapped him slightly on the shoulder.
*TAP TAP*
"Hey!" Victoria tried to be as friendly as possible. "Can I borrow some bread too?" SMILE.

Which is likely why he didn't talk about it much. But then.. then she blew him away. She knows about Granians? NO ONE knew about Granians. Thestrals, yes. Abraxans, sometimes. But Granians? Never. Until now. His heartbeat increased almost imperceptibly, but increase it did.
..and then skip a few beats. "Well, yes..." he said tentatively, looking down and to the left while his fingers absently picked some grass. He had never divulged this information to anyone at Hogwarts; it was personal, still fresh in his memory. But something was prompting him to do so now. "But.. I can.." Did he dare? "When I was little.." He closed his eyes, watching the movie play on the screen of his eyelids. "Me and the neighbor boy, a Muggle... We were climbing a tree and... he fell.." He looked up at her, a pleading look in his eyes. "I couldn't do anything about it, I swear." That had been the worst day of his life, and he just wanted her to tell him that she didn't blame him for anything. It was imperative to him now that he had shared this, his worst secret. He didn't know why he had shared it, but now that he had, all he could do was hope she wouldn't reject him as a terrible person.
That was kind of a rhetorical question, honestly, because they were an incredible team. Best one in Germany at least, and in Europe, occasionally. The mention of the Magpies was so not expected. Same as the invitation. Because that was definitely an invitation. Since she's known Keefer, which truly wasn't a great deal of time, he's managed to invite her around three or four times to different activities. And yes, she was including the ice cream invite. "Deal!" she smiled widely, knowing that only Merlin knows when that game would happen. Perhaps a friendly match. And...the hand was completely and fully noticeable, but since he changed his mind...
...she nodded at the mention of her father. Yes, he knew now, that bit of information was unnecessary but rather important.
Apparently, her answer pleased him. Maybe a little too much. Was she the first person to like winged horses here at Hogwarts? She doubted it. "Yes," she smiled, nodding all the way, "They're privileged creatures, you know, winged horses," and dragons, and hippogriffs, "Pretty amazing, too," because they were the only ones who didn't mind human contact as much as hippogriffs and dragons did. So, yes, she liked them. But Granians much better than Abraxans, as she pointed out before.
Was she going to like what she was about to hear? Kate kind of already knew the answer, hence why she'd decided not to continue with her sentence. He'd seen someone die. And that couldn't be a very nice memory. Yes, Keefer, by now she knew you could see them. She still listened. And... her eyes were just as blue as the sky above when she returned his gaze. "It was an accident, Keefer," she said, softly brushing his hair with her fingers, "And not your fault," what could he have done as a little boy, eh? Besides asking for help? Nothing, really. She gave him a small smile as she contemplated the idea of walking to the Pitch with him as a distraction.

Gary enjoyed his time feeding those ducks by tossing some bread. What a nice time. Sometimes he need to spend his time alone, away from the problems. No homework, no assignment, no lesson and no personal problems in his mind.
But it would be better if Zhenya was here too.. Ups! Did he say that no personal problems at his mind right now?

Victoria has a feeling that this boy is distracted in a way, seriously, how long do you have to think to give someone some bread? It's that or this boy is just born slow. Victoria has met some people like that, and she hope the person that just handed her bread isn't the same kind of person. Yeah...those people aren't fun.
"Thanks, dude." Victoria took the bread gladly and sat down in the spot without thinking. Hogwarts Ground is usually clean...even the little beasts are careful of where to do their business.
Victoria split bread into little crumies so the duckies could easily digest (it's not common for Victoria to be this thoughtful) and carefully threw them into the pond. Feeding ducks here is legal, right?
She was enjoying herself when the boy that just gave her bread (does that sound familiar?) said something that Victoria couldn't analyze at first. But then later understood what he had said.
Hogwarts is full of great place? Uhh...what an interesting information to tell a Seventh Year sitting at the duckie pond feeding bread crumbs to the hungry duckies. Oh Merlin, maybe he is one of those slow people after all. However, Victoria refuses to believe there could be such an unresourceful student in Slytherin! It's just...not possible. Victoria has been in Hogwarts long enough to figure out that the Sorting Hat is always fair. So Victoria decided to play.
"Uh huh. It does." Victoria nodded her head slowly. The gears in Victoria's mind turned madly, making squeaky sounds. "You know, whatever your name is..." Victoria smirked silently. "If you go all the way to that side of Hogwarts," Victoria pointed at the forbidden forest direction. "And find theright tree, that's old and wounded, you can find an underground, ancient chamber that leads all the way to the Center of the Universe." Hehe.
Evelyn grinned as she listened to Blue talk. She snorted when she heard what WMD stood for. "Blue! Why would you name your toad something like that...and how on earth does it suit him?" Now, she was genuinely confused. That was the weirdest name she'd heard for a toad..or for a pet in general.
Thankfully. Evelyn gave a sigh of relief when Blue said that she wouldn't enter the water again. Aw. Evelyn blushed a little. Frankly, no one had as much faith in her like Blue had. Even if it was for something simple like her toad coming back. "Thank you." Evelyn gave a bright smile. "That means a lot, Blue." It read did. More than she could ever express.
WHHHHATTTTT!? Evelyn burst out laughing. She'd be a wonderful teacher!? On what planet? "I really doubt if I'd be asked to teach at Hogwarts, Blue..." Her laughter faded when it suddenly hit her that she would be leaving this term and she wouldn't be able to see Blue as often as she'd like..especially if she was moving to Scotland. Sigh. "Although...that does sound like a great idea." GRIN.
Evelyn lay down on the ground beside her sister, looking at the sky. Huh? Old woman pushing a trolley with a crocodile in it!? Unfortunately, Evelyn just couldn't see it. She burst out laughing again. "You have really good imagination, Blue."
Blue blinked and thought. Then blinked again before looking out at the glassy water only broken by the ducks. "Um..." C'mon Blue! Think! Think! She didn't really have answer to her sisters question...Then it came to her and she BEEAAMMMEEEDDD. "Because, you see, my dear sister, WMD or Weapon of Mass Destruction, will one day rule Hogwarts, sister dear, with his massive destructive-ness." BEAM. YUP! Allll true.
"By the time I'm in seventh year, he will be the headmaster and the supreme ruler of EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!" O_______________O No lies. Whats so ever. Because Blue was a little demon angel that never ever lied. NOPE!
O_O It meant a lot? Blue had only said she knew Eve wasn't lying. And now Eve was blushing and everything. Maybe she was sick and had a fever. Blue gave her sister's cheek a little prod. "EEEVEE? Is there something wrong with yo' cheeks?" Blue asked, frowning.
Eve could not be sick! 'Cause that would make Blue really blue. And Blue did not like being blue.
"Weeell, ya never know!" Because Eve was awesome...maybe she could teach a class on how to be all Eve is. A History and Present of Evelyn Wellington! Yaaah! Blue would SOO go to that class and she'd be all 'Hey! Yeah, I'm the professor's sister! You jelly?' to the students. That would be fuunnnny.
"Fank you." But she frowned at Eve. HOW COULD SHE NOT SEE IT?!?! 'Twas soo obvious! "Ooooh. That one looks like a tap dancing t-rex."
Zack was feeding the duck when he noticed a boy coming near and sitting at his side. He looked up at him to see his face. He was feeding the ducks too as he noticed him removing bread from his pocket and throwing pieced of it in the pod for the ducks.
He looked at him and smiled. "Hey" he said. He pointed at the breads and said "So, you like feeding ducks as well" he said, a smile papering on his face.
How much food did these ducks want? They must have been putting it way as if they had never been fed before. But he was one hundred percent POSITIVE they got fed everyday. It was impossible for them not to be fed everyday. There were how many students in this place to come down to the pond? Yeah, there was no way in his entire life he was going to even think about attempting to figure out just how many students were actually part of this school. He'd be there for half his life just counting the teachers. Or maybe not! That would be pretty obvious, right? But then it may not have been completely obvious. He didn't see Lafay amongst all the students in the common room making it not so obvious. But counting students, he'd definitely be there half his life trying to count how many students were actually at the castle. He'd probably wind up counting some of them at least twenty times. Yeah, he really wasn't very good with names.
He continued throwing the bread into the water for the ducks watching as they kept picking the bread up out of the water and eating it. He had to be honest, ducks really were cute little creatures. But then so were swans. Not that there were any swans in this pond. But if their were, he'd probably be running for his life. The idea of a swan being able to break a bone just with it's wing frightened him. A lot!
He glanced over at the boy near him as he spoke. "Hey" he responded cheerfully. And for once, he wasn't cheerful from eating a lot of sugar. Though he had been eating a lot of sugary food before he came down to the pond. But he wasn't going to admit that to anybody. He nodded at the boy's question. "Yeah. It's peaceful down here and... Yeah, I got nothing else" he replied.

The date deal made, he made a mental note to look up the Magpie's schedule at the earliest possible time. Because he definitely wanted to know if that game was happening. He took her smile to be an encouragement, and a hopeful bubble of excitement sprang up in him. He wasn't sure why touching her seemed to be so problematic. Heaven only knew how many times some of the girls on the team last year had hugged or high fived him. But it seemed to be different with Kate, and a momentous realization began to form in the back of his brain..
As soon as he could, he was going straight to the Owlery. Straight to Treyen for help.
Privileged. He had never thought of it in that way before. "That's.. I've never thought of it like that before. But I suppose you're right, going anywhere you wanted whenever you wanted." And he agreed, that was pretty awesome. "And I don't think I've ever been up close to a Granian.. so I guess I have to take your word for it on them being cool." His word, not hers-- cool.
In his own little world of reminiscing, reliving that nightmarish day, her touch brought him back to reality, to the present. He felt a bit guilty that he could find it so gratifying when moments before he had been so down. She was right, it had been an accident and not his fault in the slightest. The warmth of her smile reached up to her eyes and he found himself not as sad.
It occurred to him that he really should get heading to the Pitch. He made to stand and wipe the grass from his robes. "Er, I should get going. Have to get to the Pitch, you know," he said half-heartedly. Try as he might, he couldn't hide the leftover sadness from his face or his voice.
