Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.

João could wait alright. And he did. But he was afraid at one moment or another, his stomach would stop waiting and growl angrily. Although talking to Louisa felt good--because he had missed her to be honest--he was afraid his shelter would go down again like it did in the summer. It was hard to stay away, and he didn't want this balance to break.
At last, she spoke. He was grateful for that calm tone, as well as her sad expression. His face let go of stern look too, and he was now almost at peace. Almost. That turned into a shock immediately upon hearing the rest of the story.
He laughed. A stressed laugh, that is. There was no humour in it; on the contrary, it was made of pure annoyance. He was getting angry by these accusations that had no root whatsoever. He was also pretty disturbed by the idiocy of people. Were they really stupid enough to think there always had to be some sexual relationship between two opposite sex? Couldn't he go up to the Room of Requirement alone with a friend?
"No," he said clearly as soon as his curt laughing stopped, looking into her eyes to show he didn't lie this time again.
"Neither she, nor Evelyn meant anything to me other than 'friend'." He sighed, looking away, as if he had more to say but debating it. Keeping silent for a while, he at last looked back at her. He tried his best to keep neutral, but it broke into pain.
"I'm sorry they came between us. Maybe I wasn't clear enough with them... I'm sorry I... screwed up." He let out another chuckle, without humour again.
There. Sometimes you just had to concede you were wrong.
Louisa kept staring at him defiantly and sadly at the same time. She needed to detect any lying vibes radiating off the boy as he spoke. Okay. Not her, nor Evelyn. "You sure didn't look so keen on convincing me with that before." Which was why she went nuts at the three broomsticks last term. Shaking her head slightly, though, she was beyond confused by his laugh. It didn't sound funny or cheerful either.
His next words were totally unpredictable. Her eyes quickly were blurring and her nose was starting to run, "Yeah.. a bit.." she tried to say 'too late for that' but it just came out as a pathetic sob forcing her to lower her head and frantically trying to wipe her eyes and stay silent.
She hated him for not trying harder to understand her. She hated him for being so arrogant that he didn't even get her need to feel valued by him so much. She hated him for making her friends right about him not being as good as she thought he was. And she hated him for having an overwhelming effect on her when she hated him for so many reasons...
... or maybe she didn't hate him but was disappointed and too naive to see clearly.
Whatever that was, Louisa never allowed herself to actually shed tears for the breakup. His apology and dry laugh triggered it now though and maybe when she was done with those pathetic tears, she'd be ready to really move on.

Getting to her feet the Prefect headed for the big door far far at the end of the hall hoping it'll just swallow her already.
Adarian Hunter walked into the Great Hall and made a beeline for the Slytherin Table. Only a few people were sitting there. He dropped his bag onto the empty seat next to him and looked at the food. Majority of it was all Englishy... where was the good Southern American fried food?? Then in front of him appeared a heaping plate of fried chicken and next to that more plates of the food from his home. He smiled and loaded up his plate and proceeded to eat like any growing 11 year old boy would.

Adarian turned around and swallowed his mouthful of chicken. "Tacos?" he looked up and down the House table, of course there were none, don't these English folk eat anything good? "Well, I don't see any but when I thought of the good fried Southern food from home it appeared. You could try sitting at the table and thinking of the tacos you want or maybe take a trip to the kitchen? The elves might help" he gestured the seat not occupied by his school bag, "You can sit here and try if you want, I'm Adarian Hunter by the way" he offered to the girl.
Adarian turned around and swallowed his mouthful of chicken. "Tacos?" he looked up and down the House table, of course there were none, don't these English folk eat anything good? And now she was avoiding his eyes. Right. They were at that phase now. João's brain was glad for that, while his heart ached. It literally ached, as if it was hard to beat. It kept beating though, and he was glad for it. He could never understand those who didn't want to live anymore because of a love. How pathetic. He was sure if he found another girl, he would be fine. This was only temporary. He'd be alright soon. Hopefully.
Nodding when she announced she needed to go, he eyed his plate full of cold spaghetti. He didn't feel hungry anymore. Forcing himself to eat half of it, he got up and walked out too.
She sits down next to him
"The names Jen" i stick my hand out. "Its nice to meet you" she says

As confused and upset as she was, Zhenya did need to eat. She tried to clear her mind so that she could eat without feeling sick, as she put a small amount of vegetables on her plate and started to nibble at them.
She also needed to get writing those letters soon. One for her best friend Raven, and she wanted to put a photo in there too. Thankfully Gary would lend her his camera so that she didn't need to go an ask Professor Lafay. She would rather not! And then she needed to write her father a letter to explain the condition Raven has, and ask him to explain it to her. THEN she needed to write a long letter to Dimitri so that he would know what she was feeling about Gary and he could help her, and tell her what to do.

"But that's okay if you don't want to eat." He took some carrots at her plate. "But I don't want to lend you my camera." A threat sounded a bit mean, but if he didn't do that maybe she wouldn't eat anything!

Her stomach was doing flips, but she wasn't sure if it was because she was so upset, her secret love was sitting right next to her, or a mixture of the two. Probably a mixture.

She smiled at him and put her hand against his cheek when he said sorry, and said "Oh Gary, that's QUITE alright," in a mocked posh voice. Then she winked at him cheekily and took a few more gulps of her water.
"I'm... I'm sure. Have you SEEN the lake at night? I did a few times because of night classes, and it's really magnificent. It just glows off the lake, and it's much quieter and beautiful than during the day," she said.

Good to know that she's alright. So the blonde guy didn't need to bring her to the hospital wing. Just hoped that she wouldn't faint. He gave her a cool smile. His heart started to beat faster again when she touched his cheek. But he still looked cool as usual. If she knew what exactly his feeling toward her right now. But they'd declared that they just became good friends, right? She didn't excpect more than it. Besides that, she was still young.
"Never." said him short. Listening from her story, Gary seemed interested about that. He wanted to see it by himself too! Okay, abandoned the rules. He used to be a rule-breaker too at Salem, right? Detention was not too creepy for him. But.. how about her? He didn't want to drag her in trouble. "So.." he spoke again. "Do you want to do it tonight?"

Excitement built up as she thought about doing it tonight. Well, the sooner she could do it, the sooner she would be able to send the letter right? "I... Yes tonight!" she said with a small smile. Inside, she was very nervous.
She picked at a piece of carrot and ate little bits of it. She was too nervous now that she had to do something to keep her mind busy. That Gary he is so nice to look at. She kept her eyes on her carrot so that he didn't think she was a starer and creepy. That wouldn't be good.
She shifted a bit closer to Gary, until they were touching, and leaned up to whisper in his ear. "what time shall we... Go?" she Asked. They didn't want any professors to overhear them. Maybe she would send a letter to her brother to tell him that not only had she made friends with a BOY but she had also taken a photo of the lake at night! She was sure he would be proud of her.

He felt quiet nervous for tonight's plan. Well, not because he would do something risky and could throw him in detention. But he would sneak out at night with a girl. YES! A girl. Hopefully none of the Professor would catch them tonight.

Gary really loved this idea! Sneaking out at night, spending lovely time at the lake with a girl that he liked. Ups. It sounded awesome. And he was ready if they would be caught by staff because of that and maybe, ended in detention. Speaking about detention, the blonde guy actually had often been in detention. Well, most of them because of his own prank.
"At my former school? Yes." said him calm. "Twice." From her question, he could guess that she was a good girl who'd never been in detention before.
"I bet you'd never been in detention." He smirked. Then he continued bit his apple. "You seemed like an innocent girl." suddenly he said. Was it a compliment or a taunt? He didn't now. After he had finished with his meal and apple, Gary stood up, gave her a hug and whispered something in her ear. "See you at the lake tonight." he smiled. "And don't get caught by others." he winked. The blonde guy now left her alone at the table. He looked forward for tonight!

Zhenya smiled at the Bad Boy. Who didn't love a bad boy? Zhenya certainly liked them. Wait, not them, just him.
"I've never had a detention, no," Zhenya said, feeling like such a prude. She was far too up-tight about rules, thanks to her strict mother. But... tonight would be different.
She felt Gary stand up, and went to turn to see what he was doing, and then he hugged her. She was too shocked to do anything but hold her breath. She was sure she would say something ridiculous. Ahh then he WHISPERED IN HER EAR! He didn't know what that did to her, but it made her almost laugh from the tickle.
Oh man, she had to meet him there? How would she do that? She watched him with her mouth slightly open as he left her all alone. She just wanted to be closer to him. Tonight would be good. Maybe he could give her more hugs? Smiling to herself, she ate the rest of her carrot then stood up herself and made her way to the library to write her letter.
