"That's very cool." A better teacher than the professors? WHAT. West was joking, for sure. These professors were top notch. He decided not to comment any further, though. In case West bit his head off. "What about your mum?"

Meh.

"No, he's not a wizard." He confirmed, unsure whether he was happy or sad about it. It did kinda make him more awesome than Casper, so yeah... maybe he did enjoy it. "They... uh..." Was West for real? "They go to muggle schools. I went to a muggle school, you know. For like..." He counted his fingers, "...seven years."

"They don't have OWLs!!" He said defensively, "He's not a wizard, and OWLs are wizarding exams." Duhhhhhhhh.

HE GOT A STAR, TOO. BEAM. "Oh, I could have helped you. I was AWESOME at that spell, did you see me?" He totally fought for his house in that task.

Muehehe, "Good, good. She would like that. I don't think she wants to be my bestie anymore, you know." He pondered.

West would help him out here. West was KNOWLEDGEABLE about life.

"I, eer... I've only read muggle comics, but Spiderman is my favourite. I didn't know there was wizarding comics, do you have any?" HE NEEDED THEM.

"Oh." His mum? "I don't have one. Just my dad. And Aspen." He didn't sound TOO cut up about it, but that was because he didn't remember her and when he saw pictures, aside from the resemblance Aspen held for their mother (and himself too, though that was harder to see), all he saw was a stranger.

"Well what do you learn at muggle schools? I had a tutor before I came to Hogwarts. A tutor and my dad." West was just curious. It was so far outside of his experience. "And what do they have instead of OWLs?" He just didn't KNOW this stuff, okay?

He shifted again. Antsy kid.

"Yeah you were real good." West agreed loyally. "Maybe we can work on stuff together. I kind of want to learn some that we don't get taught in the lessons, the ones that in some lessons the professors act like you should know already." Paaause. "I did okay with the levitating one though."

Not best friends? O_O "Why not? But you're cool! Why doesn't she want to? That's not good. Doesn't she like Slytherins anymore?" He looked a bit crestfallen. If she didn't want to be friends with Theo, would she still want to be friends with West?

"SURE I do." Comic books though. That was fixable. He jumped up and went ot his chest again, and after practically disappearing inside it, he reappeared with a stack of them. A few of each. "Here!"

Oh. He probably shouldn't have asked. Instead, Theo just nodded and looked at a painting on the wall. Hmm... very interesting, that painting...

"You learn... rubbish stuff like... Poetry, numbers, running, french, science." Bleh, science. Theodore remembered his failings in that class vividly. Ironic that science is also considered as 'magic', and now he was learning actual magic... That didn't sound good, at all. The boy shrugged, "I dunno what they do in big school, I only went to a little muggle school." Like from the age of four to eleven.

He'd ask his brother nearer to the time.

Theo BEAMED. "I was, wasn't I?" His eyes wandered elsewhere, just marveling his awesomeness to himself for a moment. "YEA, like the fire throwing spell." The one that people used to light up the fire underneath cauldrons. He didn't KNOW this sorcery!

"I think she's mad cos I keep being mean to Hufflepuffs." He said sadly, "She has already got a new bestie in Hufflepuff."

Just when West appeared at his COOLEST, he just became more cool.

Theo bounced on his mattress at the comics that he had brought out. YAY. "Cooooooool! Can I read 'em?!" Though he couldn't 100% guarantee their safe return.

"Oh. I learned some of that stuff too." West considered this. "And lots of magic theory stuff. On account of you can't have a wand before you're eleven and all that, but I know a bunch about runes and I read a bunch of books when I feel like it."

He privately thought that Wizard school was much cooler than how Muggle school sounded. Or well, not so privately. "I think Hogwarts sounds better." Which meant he and Theo had it MADE yeah!

"And the one for cleaning cauldrons even if cauldrons shouldn't be given to us dirty cos that's dumb, and the one that makes water, and the one that makes shields for dueling and hexes and stuff like that. " And they would RULE the SCHOOL. Yesss.

"Who is her Hufflepuff bestie?" West wanted to know, reaching over and pat-pat-patting Theo on the back. Chin up old mate! Yup.

West looked at the comic books and then at Theo and then with a grand gesture he nodded and put the lot of them in his lap. "You can have them, Theo. Because you're my friend and its good to share with friends." And then also Theo would owe him one, right?

"You learned about runes? You can help me with that, too, cos I'm rubbish at runes." He hated it, too.

Psshhtttt, yeah! "Hogwarts is WAY more awesome. Like, if someone is mean to you, you can just hex them into next week." Theo so WOULD if he knew how to do those kinda hexes. He dreaded to think what kind of a wizard he'd be in his later Hogwarts years.

"Yeah, that one, too!" Although, Aurora did try and teach Theo the water one. He managed a tiny dribble from the end of his wand. So yeah, practice was totally needed.

"Some girl called Kaitlyn. Or KAT... but I call her Kaitlyn cos that's her real name." You know? Anyway... "I think she's mean. She told me she has anger issues." Like the HULK, as Theo now knew her as. So really... he was showing concern for Blue, who was falling into the wrong crowd.

Yesssss, stay with Slytherin. They had Theo and West!

"REALLY? You're the best, West..." It had only just clicked with him that that comment rhymed like woah.

"Okay and maybe we can learn how to blow things up. My dad says that you can, with runes." West agreed. That was why they sounded cool to him see?

"I can't yet. But I want to. Next year I'm going to hex a LOT of people. You should too. We could hex together." It'd be cool. They'd RULE THE SCHOOL.

There were LOTS of spells they needed to learn.

"You should introduce her to me and I'll headbutt her." West suggested. "I'm good at that. I'm tough." Headbutted a SEVENTH year and everything remember?

"Yeah really! And I am." GRIN. "But you are too." He said loyally. The next best at least. "Hey I wonder what would happen if you dropped a potato out of the window of one of the towers?" Because that was a logical question.
