The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Taylor thought about it and twisted a curl, "Hmmm I suppose it has indeed been a bit long..." Tay trailed off, thinking for a bit then smiled as the girl introduced herself. She had to hold back a giggle at how the girl sounded as she announced her name. "Pleasure meeting you, Elliot. That is a pretty name. Do you know the story behind how you got it?" Taylor glanced at the girl and gave a half smile. "What year are you in? Third?"
Elliot didn't know whether to tell the girl the entire story...or...the short one. Hmm. The entire story involved her personal feelings...so maybe just the short story would do. "My parents thought I was a boy."Wanted me to be a boy... she thought but didn't say aloud. "They were a wee bit surprised when a beautiful baby girl came out...." Elliot smirked a little, but it wasn't a huge display of particular glee or anything. "And my two sisters, Dani and Sam, also have boy names."
Elliot couldn't help but think that her parents a bit daft, thinking three of their were boys when they weren't...but it was her father's own pride that stopped them from checking the sex of their children while her mother had been pregnant...
"I know it's pretty..." She muttered...pretty name for a pretty girl... she thought, and this made the smirk on her face widen. "I rather like it, I'd say. Taylor is a common name...but that doesn't mean it isn't pretty. It's also a boy's name, of sorts, right?" Elliot thought so. But ironically she really only heard it used for girls...

Damon sighed but nodded, "As I always am according to you." He smed though, "Happy to go home and be tormented by my father? Yes, sounds like marvarlous fun... Maybe we'll take a trip to gumdrop mountain while we're at it..."
Taylor smiled at him, "Puck isnt... okay yeah he is that bad." She sighed, "Though you can always come over and hang with me at the cottage I guess or even at the estate since I might be spending more time there." Tay looked at him, "Are you going to vacation with us? We are going to Italy, Greece, Egypt and, of course, France this year." Taylor twirled her curl and smiled. She was excited to go back to France, they always went each summer.

Taylor grimaced a little, "Sorry to hear that they thought you were a boy." She nodded, "Yeah, Taylor can be a boy's name. Mother thought it sounded good with Belle so she called me Taylor Belle since she wanted a 'T' name to go with my twin sister's 'T' name." Tay sighed a little bit and frowned, "They already had a son by that time and they had another one about 3 years ago..." Taylor trailed off, thinking about how her father died the week that the son was born. She twisted a curl then shook her head, clearing her thoughts, "So are you going anywhere exciting this summer?" Tay gave a slight smile but it was a bit forced.

"As long a you'll still be going with us to Norris again, I will be." Damon smiled at her. Of course he'd be going with them to France though. He missed his home... Maybe he could actually show Taylor where he'd lived when his mother was around.

Damon smiled, "Well... For France I would adore to take you to where I use to live... Obviously it was in the woods, but it was still a beautiful place."

Taylor smiled, "That sounds nice." She nodded and twisted her ring, which slid off her finger. Her eyes grew big as she got up to go get her ring which was rolling away fast.

Damon quickly stood to try to help her grab it, How can such a little ring go so quickly?
Taylor stumbled a bit and accidently bumped into Damon while chasing her ring.
Damon easily caught her and helped her regain her balance before grabbing the troublesome thing, "I believe this is yours milady." He held the ring out to her.
Taylor grimaced a little, "Sorry to hear that they thought you were a boy." She nodded, "Yeah, Taylor can be a boy's name. Elliot chuckled. "No worries there..." boy was she sorry she wasn't a boy as well. It would have saved a LOT of heartache these past few months...plus, she would be the heir to the Morganzo fortune. But Elliot tried not to think about this.
Taylor Belle. "The two names sound good together. My middle name is Mitchell..." once again, Elliot had a boy's name. She rolled her eyes. "But it has grown on me, I suppose." Meh. Somewhat.
She noticed that the other girl seemed suddenly distant..hmm...Elliot didn't know what could have been said to make the girl go all upset now...interesting...
"Nope. Not this summer. Just me, the manor, and the wild mountains of the Scottish countryside..." she missed those mountains though. And her manor.

Taylor saw a girl slightly older than her that she never talked to despite being in the same house and all. She smiled then excused herself from her conversation. Tay went over to her, wondering if the girl was lonely or just not wanting to be talkative. "Happy that it is the end of the term?" Taylor gave a warm smile and glanced at the girl. Oh yeah... should offer my name as well... "I am Taylor by the way."
Gwen glimpsed at the Slytherin house table for a moment, trying to see if there was anyone she could recognize there. In the meantime, she heard footsteps approaching the place where she was sitting, but didn’t mind to look at who it was, since it was probably just another Ravenclaw looking for a random place where to sit. Mehh. But then she heard a voice say something. ‘Hmm?’, Gwendolyn mumbled as she drew her attention to the place where the voice seemed to be coming from.
Did she even know this person?
Gwen couldn’t figure out who it was, much less what her name was. Hmm-was she happy that the term would end? ‘Not really’, the fourth year admitted. No. Since next year she will have OWLs and everything… but she was indeed looking forward to the summer. She had already made a few plans and she was going to stick to them. ‘You?’
Ah. The girl introduced herself, proving it to Gwendolyn that they had never met or talked before. ‘I’m Gwen’, the fourth year said as she extended her hand in attempt to shake Taylor’s.

At the other end of the house table, the fourth year was able to spot Elliot, the girl she had met not much time ago at the Ravenclaw Common Room. And since the other student responded to her wave, Gwendolyn decided to go talk to her… at least for a few minutes. She stood up and approached the place where her friend was sitting. ‘Hi’, she greeted the girl as she took a seat. Was Elliot waiting for someone? Gwen had no idea, but if so, then she would make this conversation short… She still needed to find some of her friends… and the seventh years who she wouldn’t see again next term.
‘Looking forward to the summer?’, the Ravenclaw asked. She herself had already made a few plans with her friends for her holiday, and she was hoping that she would get to meet Elliot… at least on Diagon Alley. Right. The two of them had to meet over the summer. Otherwise it would be too hard to catch up at the beginning of next term.
Elliot chuckled. "No worries there..." boy was she sorry she wasn't a boy as well. It would have saved a LOT of heartache these past few months...plus, she would be the heir to the Morganzo fortune. But Elliot tried not to think about this.

Taylor smiled, "Thanks. My twin is Trinity Ashley, another Ravenclaw..." Tay sighed a bit since she didnt like her twin at all anymore. "Hmm Mitchell... that is pretty, Elliot Mitchell." She smiled a little and then her eyes grew a little, "Wait you are from Scotland?" Taylor got a bit excited and in a better mood at the mention of the country.
SPOILER!!: Gwen

Taylor shrugged, "I dont know yet... I mean I will be happy to not have homework but I kinda of dont want to go home yet..." Tay sighed, thinking about how her mother was about to have a baby anyday. "Pleasure meeting you, Gwen." She smiled and shook her hand despite hating that custom. "What year are you in?" Tay tilted her head a little, "And sorry if I get annoying..." Taylor blushed in embarassment.

Damon chuckled, tht hint of Irish coming instantly, "Only for you... If it weren't your birthday I'd ask you to talk with your Scottish one... So you lucked out for today, lass." Yes, he had to add it on.

Taylor smiled and was all happy. She was bursting with energy, like she always was when she was really happy, which was most of the time. "I cant wait to go back to Scotland. I missed it so." Tay sighed and went back to being happy. Taylor was practially bouncing in her seat.

"Yes, now I can focus on writing my poems and working on my music... And sleeping in doesn't really happen with me." Damon chuckled.
