The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Harvey smiled as Taylor looked at him as she seemed to be happy that he was trying to help with Ameliah, well why wouldnt he? He had always been trying to hold his group of Amigos together.. even though those Amigos werent around much anymore.. but anyways the same applied here.. he was trying to bring two sisters together to try and salvage what was remaining from their relationship. He could also be seen as fulfilling his brotherly duties, he then looked at Damon who seemed to be still quiet "Well you can come up there during the summer and hang out with us.. quite a few of us will be there if you want to join us. Just to hang out and stuff." he smiled at Damon.. they could hang out in quiet place where there werent many people. He was then shocked by what he had heard.. they were leaving? he thought he was hearing things when he heard Nigel repeat what the headmaster had said.. so Harvey hadnt been hearing things since Nigel had heard the same thing.. he wondered why?

But sort of happy too, because she'll be spending her summer with Elise.
She scannned an empty seat, she wanted to take that one closer to Beezus but...she can't. She just can't. Instead, Erin went to the other side.
Elise made her way downstairs a little later than she had anticipated. Her eyes were red and a little swollen, her cheeks puffy. Looking at the ground, she flashed a small smile at her housemates before sliding into the seat next to Erin.
"Packed yet?" she asked, trying to hide the obvious evidence of the cause of her lateness. Erin didn't have to suffer because she did.

Beezus was now going away with a guy, the new Slytherin Captain. Where is Kimalia anyways? She wanted to say her goodbyes and an explanation why she didn't captained her team. She's kind of worried about her. Whilst still following Beezus movements, Erin was startled by a sudden sound directed towards her.
The girl took the empty seat beside Erin. "Yeah. 'Cause I'm so excited," Erin uttered unbelievably for it sounded off-tuned, still couldn't get her eyes off Beezus and that guy. Turning her eyes to look at Elise, "Hey," she said concerned, "Are you crying again?"
By the way Elliot was talking about her sister, Gwen could only think that it couldn’t even be as bad as she was predicting… right? She shook her head slowly as she listened to the younger Ravenclaw talk. Come on, surely she wouldn’t be that unhappy… And that sister couldn’t really be that annoying, right? ‘Too bad you can’t use magic over the summer…’, the fourth year mused, trying to keep s straight face. Still suppressing a smirk, Gwen drew her attention to the other people joining the Ravenclaw house table, before looking back at Elliot. She nodded, showing Elliot that she agreed to the plan of meeting sometime.
Hmmm.
Was she going to any trips? ‘I’m going to France with a friend’, she responded to the girl’s question. ‘I really can’t wait…’ A few minutes ago, she thought that only going to the wizarding world in France would be interesting, but the talk she had with Nessie made her realize how much fun the muggle world could be too. Gwen’s enthusiasm grew even more… She couldn’t wait to leave! Yes, she was indeed looking forward to this summer, as much as she disliked the fact that the term would end.
Yeah...too bad. "I know I could probably get away with it, too" she said, referring to using magic outside of school, "...but I don't know, it's just one of those rules that everyone pretty much follows...especially the ones that live around muggles." Which elliot would never do. Sounded....weird. And miserable.
Elliot glanced around, saw that food had appeared, and immediately grabbed a plate nearest her with some salad. That's all she was really in the mood for, actually.
France! "I've been there...but just as a passing through sort of thing. And I visited Beauxbatons...the people are quite nice...somewhat. It's pretty," she replied with a shrug. "Only I don't know French...I wish I did, though. Most French people speak English as well, though, thank Merlin. What are you going to do there?" she asked curiously. France just sounded like such a fancy, pretty place. Elliot would go back one day, for sure.

"I'll contact you when the time comes!" She told her with a smile. Angelina got excited when Taylor asked if she wanted to go to France with her. "I'd love to!" That would be so much fun!
Taylor smiled, "Okay, sounds good!" Her smile brighten as she said that she would love to go to France with her, "Great!"

"What do you do for fun, Taylor? You know, besides dancing and falling down?" she joked a little.
"I agree it is the best." She chuckled and smiled at Elliot." Tay nodded, "Yeah, the bigger the better." Taylor would of mentally counted how many books she had read this term but she would of lost count after so many. And even if they were apparently talking about OWLs. ‘Right…’, she mumbled a bit absently as the other girl finished talking. Whoever that Damon person was, Gwen was not in the mood to start asking the other ‘Claw about him. Mehh.
‘I hope so too…’, the fourth year managed to say, even though she didn’t really believe that next term wouldn’t be stressful. ‘And you…? Have you got any plans for next term?’ That wasn’t exactly a good question, but Gwen wanted to make the girl talk about anything else… just not OWLs. She wanted to have a great summer, without any stress for those exams, mkay? And… she needed a distraction now. The girl could talk about anything. Quiddditch, studies… whatsoever just not exams.
Gwen felt a bit bad for changing the subject so abruptly, but that topic made her feel a little… well…scared. She was not really looking forward to the next term. Hopefully Taylor would understand.
Taylor noticed the abrupt subject change and couldnt blame the girl. She wouldnt want to talk about OWLs next term either. Tay shrugged, "Eh, I am probably going to try out on the quidditch team again since I played on the team the two terms I have been here." Tay smiled, "But it depends on how tough my studies are." Taylor bit her lip and sighed a little bit. "Any plans for the summer?" She glanced at Gwen.

Taylor smiled at him, "I dont mind. I just want you comfortable." She gave his hand a light squeeze, "I would go with you but..." Tay gestured to all the people around her that was in a conversation with her.
Max had just shoved a spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth when Ellie asked him about Tate. He swallowed hard, trying to clear the food out of his mouth quickly so he could give a prompt reply, "He's leaving. So are other professors, by the sound of it. 'Someone else needs Tate's strengths.' He 'wouldn't leave us if he didn't have to,'" he loosely quoted. "Whatever that means. I'm sure he'll go on to do good things."
There was bitterness in Max's tone. He wasn't really mad at Tate, though. He was mad at the situation - everyone leaving. He didn't like being left behind, and he didn't like saying goodbye.
Though he was very, very rarely angry or cranky, before shoveling another spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth, Max muttered, "Just more reasons why next term is going to be the worst."
Ellie blinked at Max for a moment. He was awfully quick to dig into the food tonight. She hadn't even registered the food on the table yet. But...now that she had...she reached for a dinner roll. Just a dinner roll because she was too excited to be really hungry for real food.
Though those potatoes looked good...
She stiffened at his response, fully aware of his tone. And she was sure the 'I'm sure he'll go on to do good things' would be much more reassuring than it was coming across if Max wasn't so...bothered by whatever tonight.
"That's disappointing," she commented quietly, "Can't imagine Hogwarts without Tate." He was one of the few staff members that hadn't changed since she started as a first year. And now Aidan would be coming with Merlin-knows-who for a Headmaster. What if they're awful? And more importantly, "Who's going to remind us all not to die?"
Then Max mumbled something that if Ellie didn't have years of tuning into Max's speech, she wouldn't understand. But she did understand, and she did hear. And her heart sunk. "Don't say that..." Deep down she knew what he was really thinking, but she didn't want to think like that. So she was going to pretend this was all about Tate. For now...

Another slow, silent nod came from Vickers, amused though he was with the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain's enthusiasm. He was tempted to ask what were the other two best days of her life-- an his face has shown the curiosity-- when someone asked if she was turning Professional "Yeah... have you talked to any scouts yet?" With the way she plays she has got to be fielding some offers yeah?
Yes, one of the best days of her life would be tomorrow. And Vickers seemed to neither argue it or question it. Which was just fine by Ellie.
Also fine by Ellie, sticking with the subject of Quidditch. And even better, her future in Quidditch. "Not talked to, exactly. I have gotten recruitment letters, though," she beamed proudly. FOUR of them! THREE of which were from her top favorite teams in the whole world.

The fourth year was about to add something, but it looked like the Headmaster started his speech.
. . .
What was that?!
Too many people were leaving…
Gwen drew her attention back at Ellie. Did she really have to leave too?!?
"I am very happy," Ellie grinned at Gwen. Thrilled. Elated. Excited. Also, incredibly annoyed that it wasn't tomorrow already. But knowing that tomorrow would be tomorrow was exciting. She was less than 24 hours away from seeing her boyfriend again. Less than 24 hours away from her life actually being completely perfect.
Yet Gwen sounded like that was a bad thing. But Ellie easily shrugged that off.
What she couldn't so easily shrug off, was the girl staring at her after Tate finished his speech. The Captain smiled back at her and...turned her attention to that roll she was slowly eating.
THEN she heard an all too familiar name from where Vickers and Stella were seated. And that young Alyssa girl, it seemed. ...Wasn't she at the wrong table?
Whatever. They were talking about her boyfriend. And Ellie was keenly interested. "What about Treyen?" she called to them, smiling. Could she join? Could she talk about him, too? Could she brag about him? Could they talk about how excited she was about seeing him in less than 24 hours?

She could get away with it?
Gwen raised an eyebrow at Elliot. Surely she wasn’t serious about it… The fourth year finally grinned, since it obviously was just a joke and the younger Ravenclaw wasn’t serious about it. Since the next topic of conversation was what plans they had for the summer, Gwen couldn’t help but grin. She really couldn’t wait to leave! This was going to be the best summer holiday! But… what was she going to do there? ‘I’m not sure…’ Of course, visiting famous places, tasting the typical food of the country and so on… but Gwen wasn’t sure what exactly she would be doing. ‘But my friend probably came up with a long list of everything we could see there’ Yep. Ariadne had most likely done her research. Even though Gwen was the Ravenclaw there, she preferred visiting places without having planed everything from the beginning. It made the trip more interesting, in her opinion.
‘So you said you’ve visited Beauxbatons?’, the fourth year inquired. She wanted to know what Elliot thought of that school. Gwendolyn was about to go on talking, but the room went silent. She drew her attention to the staff table in time to catch the Headmaster’s speech from the beginning. No… Tate couldn’t leave… there were already the seventh years she wouldn’t be seeing again next term… not the Headmaster too! Gwen glimpsed back at Erin to see what the girl’s reaction to this was.

Gwen actually admired Ellie for being in such a good mood. She did seem very happy, unlike most of the seventh year who were getting kind of upset. Come to think about it, the younger students seemed to be taking this graduation a lot worse than the ones who were actually leaving. That thought nearly made Gwen want to roll her eyes, but she managed to control herself. ‘Well… good luck at… whatever you will be doing after Hogwarts’ Well, since she didn’t know if the Captain was going to start a career in Quidditch or not, Gwen wasn’t sure how else she should have ended that sentence.
Having said that, the fourth year drew her attention at the staff table, just in time to catch the beginning of the Headmaster’s speech. She remained silent for a moment, processing the new pieces of information… It was sad that the seventh years were leaving… now Tate too?

Taylor smiled, "Yeah, it is really fun and it helps that I have two friends on the team." She shrugged and giggled. Tay knew that Gwen wasnt on the team, because, of course, Taylor never saw her at practice before... duh. "So what do you think of quidditch? Are you going to try out next year or are you not very into it?" Her eyes grew as well as her smile at the mention of France, "Really? France? Nice! I am going there too since I go every summer. My mother came from France and my grandmere lives there... I am going to go with my brother and some friends though since Mother cant this year." Tay sighed a little, "But I am going to Italy, Egypt, and Norris Lake as well and perhaps Spain and Greece if my mother is up for it by then..."
" Well its very nice to meet you Nigel." nicki said sweetly
"I am very well thank you, yourself." nicki finished as she took a breath she replied again. " oh my it really has gone so fast." she remember how fast her first year went.
Nigel was still surprised he was meeting a new person at the end of term feast.
He was thinking about Professor Williamson and Headmaster Tate leaving. It was only his first year and so much stuff has happened.
"I'm good. Just shocked that Headmaster Tate and Professor Williamson is leaving."
He took another bite of his pizza thinking about what to drink.

"Hi Ameliah.. how are you?" he asked as he looked at Taylor.. now would be the right time to ask about Mel.. just then thats what she did.. but the coldness with which Ameliah replied was not what he was expecting. He would have to get these two talking again.. cause Taylor was a very good friend of his and Ameliah his girl.. it was a little difficult trying to keep them both happy like they were before. Would they ever reach that stage.. only time would tell.
Ameliah grinned. "I'm excited for summer, you remember my friend I was talking about? Eimear? She's staying with us over the summer!" she said happily. She had really missed her half-Veela friend.

"Pretty....uppity..." she finally uttered with a sigh. "I mean, trust me, I consider myself pretty uppity...living in a manor my entire life, having house elves and maids...thats how Beaxbatons is all the time. I dunno', I liked it there..." and sometimes she regretted not going there...it seemed that Hogwarts was getting pretty loose with the filth they let in. "But Hogwarts felt like home. Like I belonged here. And both my parents went here...my sister Dani, though, starts at Beauxbatons next year, though." Elliot rolled her eyes. "I don't think she's going to fit in...at all." Dani was too nice for those people.
She, too, grew quiet and listened to Tate. OH NO. "Whaaaat? He's leaving??" she asked, her mouth gaped open. She couldn't bleive it!

"Jack of all trades, then, eh? I could never ride a horse...sounds too...i don't know, dangerous..." she said with widened eyes. AND ARCHERY?! Who was this girl?! "Archery? Hmph. I thought only boys did that...." but wasn't that very muggle like? What was the point if you had a wand? ALl of these thoughts sprinted through her mind....but she didn't voice them aloud. Nope.
Taylor shrugged, "Dad always wanted us to be well-rounded." She sighed and grimaced, "Horse-back riding is fun... it isnt too dangerous. "Nope, not only boys." Tay giggled, "Some girls do archery as well."
'You're welcome'. Yup. Ellie just grinned back at Messer and gave him a small nod.
...Oh. Awww. "We'll see each other in Diagon Alley, I'm sure. Quality Quidditch Supplies, yeah?" Where they met. So no worries. She'll be around. She'll be out and about. She won't drop off the face of the earth.
But she WILL be playing Professional Quidditch! "Yeah!" she replied cheerfully, "Already have letters from teams." But they were safely locked away in her trunk at the moment.
Quality Quidditch Supplies? Yea, he would love that. "Or maybe I'll see you in the Quidditch magazine." Tehee.
"COOL!" That mean more chance of him seeing the Ravenclaw Captain in the Quidditch magazine in the future. And he also could still be Ellie supporter. Treyen is obviously her number one fan so he could be number 2, right? "Good luck with your future team and Ellie, don't kill me yeah?" he said before he gave the older girl a peck on the cheek.
