Gemma wrote down every author that the students mentioned and put a star beside the different poets that she was unfamiliar with...yes the teacher was learning from the students as well. "Thank you thank you thank you for all sharing...I heard a few authors that I'm going to have to look up...Ya'll have introduced me to quite a few new names and works!" she said and then glanced around the circle of L Chairs, "Well, that was a simple little introduction to Muggle Authors and Literature. Next time we are going to be studying Muggle Fairy Tales and we may have a handsome special guest in class with us!" she said with a little wink and mischievous face. "If everyone will pull out some parchment or a notebook and write down the homework assignment," for the first time in the lesson, she picked up her wand and with a little flick the Homework assignment appeared on the board at the front of the classroom. Angelina raised an eyebrow wondering who the guest may be. She got distracted though once Professor Cerulean started giving out homework though. Grabbing out parchment and a quill she started writing down the homework making sure she understood. By looking at the opinions she couldn't decided which she liked better, well she will figure that out once the time came. Putting everything away she finished her popcorn fast and stood up. "Thanks for the wonderful lesson Professor," she said with a smile. |
OMG, wasn't that amazing homework? Michelle grinned and said, "Thanks for the lovely lesson, Professor!" and quickly scribbled down the homework that had been assigned to them. She couldn't wait for the next lesson. She was already making notes in her mind. FAIRY TALES! Nobody could ever get enough of 'em. Oh, and even better, there was gonna be a 'handsome guest'. Yes, fun. |
Oh, lesson was over already? Lewis wrote down the homework, staring down at the piece of parchment for a moment once he was done. How was he supposed to research that when they didn't have an Muggle-literature shelf in the library? Or did they have books ON Muggle literature? Hopefully they would. Or else he was going to find somebody who was Muggleborn and help him out with this homework. If only he knew which of his friends - or the people he knew, he never knew WHEN exactly he could consider them friends - were Muggleborn. Or had a Muggle parent. Completely lost in thought, trying to come up with a plan HOW to figure out who was Muggleborn, Lewis got up from his seat and gathered his things. "Thank you, have a nice day, Professor." The Prefect muttered without actually looking at Professor Cerulean as he passed her on the way out of the classroom. Maybe Kurumi would know...hmm...if only he'd paid better attention to WHO was good at Muggle Studies. That usually implied that they had grown up around Muggles. |
Special guest? Kurumi could only assume that that meant the librarian, but she kept her thoughts to herself as she packed up her things. Kurumi had still been hoping for some sort of activity instead of another lecture, but perhaps the next lesson would provide something of that sort. There was an awful lot one could do with fairy tales after all. Kurumi just hoped that they would be discussing the true stories and not the modified ones. Sure, Kurumi enjoyed watching Disney films as much as anyone else, but those were not the real stories. After writing down the homework, Kurumi offered the professor a polite bow before making her way out of the classroom |
Homework time. Jonathan took out the parchment he had ready for Muggle Studies and started writing down those two options on the board. He'll just have to decide on which one to do first later when he reaches the common room. This lecture is a bit shorter than expected, usually Professor Cerulean had a lot of activities in mind, well, maybe during the next lecture? Definitely. As soon as he finished writing down all that was needed to, he finally packs up and placed all his things on his bag. Standing up, he gave professor Cerulean a small smile as he fixed his glasses "Thank you for today, Professor". |
Oh? Was the class already over? ... and Nora didn't really say a word the whole lesson. Quickly writing down the assignment, the girl packed her quill and pieces of parchment on which she'd occasionally taken a few brief notes, and made her way out of the classroom. "Goodbye, professor," she said with a rather sleepy smile on her face, and out she went. Things to do. Muggle books to study. |
Minerva wrote down the homework that was put up. After she was finished she put her parchment and quill back in her bag. She got up from the chair and pulled her bag over her shoulder. "Bye professor have a great day." She smiled and headed out of class. She was going to head to the library to start doing some research on these muggle authors, but she wondered if the library would have a section on muggle authors. |
Wait it was over already? Merlin, that was quick. Selina was hoping that they would have delved into more Shakespeare or something of the sort. But she did not say anything and collected her belongings. As she walked out the door she nodded her head toward her Professor and said, "Have a good day, Professor." Early lunch? Yeah, sounded like a plan. |
Well that was a quick lesson! Ella pulled her parchment towards her and scribbled down the homework, wondering if it would be easy for those students who didn't have muggle families to find the information they would need. She was all set, especially with the trunk full of books from home sitting in her dormitory. Having packed up her things, Ella headed for the door and waved to the professor on the way out. "Bye Professor Cerulean! Cool lesson." |
SPOILER!!: zeProf Vickers scribbled their homework down quickly, but as he listened to the Professor mention their next lesson he looked up worriedly. Muggle Fairy Tales? He remembered their Book Club meeting a few weeks back and how he was completely clueless when Minerva mentioned a well loved Muggle story he knew very little about. Sounds like he's gonna need some prep time at the Library before next class. Not that thats a bad thing to him. He collected his things into his bookbag and disposed of the popcorn bag. " Thank you for the lesson Professor Cerulean. Have a nice day." he said bidding her goodbye and made his way out of the classroom. |
Belle was happy she learned about the poets. There were many different poets that contributed to history. Belle noticed the professor was writing homework on the board. She got out her planner and copied it down. Quote:

Nigel was at least feeling like he learned a little about muggle literature. He was still confused about that weird stephen king guy though, but whatever. He took out a pen and paper and wrote down the homework. Quote:

Alyssa quickly wrote down what their homework assignment was in her notebook before packing up her things and walking up to the Professor. "Thank you for another interesting lesson, Professor. I'll get working on this assignment as soon as I get back to the Common Room. Have a nice day." Alyssa smiled her goodbye before heading out tyr door. |
Jen quickly scribbled down the homework, "Thanks for the lesson Professor, I learned a lot" Jen says Really she did. |
Jory wrote the homework down. "Both options sound good,'' he thought. He'd really have a hard time deciding which to do. Finished with copying the homework, he repacked his stuff. "Thanks for this most awesome lesson, Professor Cerulean,'' the Puff said earnestly and already looking forward to the next one. He gave her a wave before leaving the room. |
