Well. This was awkward... Kennedy leaned his back against the bookshelf and chewed on the inside of his lip. After a while he spoke up. "John, I...," he paused. He didn't think he should be apologizing first, but then he was the one who tackled the Gryffindor down. "I shouldn't have done what I did." |

Johnathan sighed. Dude just don't.." he didn't want to recall the evening anymore, it was in the past and that's where that issue is staying. Once Kennedy started apologizing, the young lion found the bravery in his heart to forgive him. Normally he would hold a grudge and hope that Ken trips and falls over. But that's not what a brother does, because after all Kenny was the only brother he had and will have. "Don't worry about it, man." John isn't the type of person that likes hugging people very much, but he charged towards the Slytherin Prince and gave him a brotherly hug. "You're the best friend I ever knew, or ever will know...bro." John said as he smiled. Will things ever be the same between these two? I think so... |
Quote:
Oh. He was hugging him. Now. Kennedy didn't mind public displays of affection when he was with Then he went and said all that bro stuff, which Kennedy did take it seriously, but instead showed it by joking. If anyone would know, it'd be John. He patted the Gryffindor's back and pulled away completely. "Man up, Walker! This is no time to behave like a Hufflepuff," he said, an amused grin tugging at his lips. |
Quote:
"I taught you well, young grasshopper!" Johnathan teased as laughed. It was nice to once again speak and joke with his best friend, he didn't like having arguments or fights with the people who meant a lot to the lion. A Hufflepuff? pfft! "I ain't no dang, Hufflepuff! I'll hang you next time ya' call me that!" John returned the joke. These weren't the times to fight, it was time to start celebrating and preparing speeches...as graduation was literally right around the corner. |

"Right," he laughed. "You're too much of a Gryffindor to be one." Merlin knew what kind of trouble John got himself in. Some times, Kennedy didn't even bother to find a reason behind his friend's actions. Once more he leaned against the bookshelf and crossed his arms over his chest. "I didn't mean to tackle you the other day," he said in a more serious tone. They had to talk about his some time, right? Why not face it now? "I just...I lost it," he said. It wasn't easy admitting he had been wrong in...many things, but this was a start. |

Johnathan sighed. "Don't worry about it, man." John seriously, replied with that answer. "We all got our moments." he nodded, as he no longer wanted to recall those awful memories. |

As Leo walked past her with some books, Issy picked up her own pile and studied the names - making sure she was putting them back in the right places. "Hmmm," she mumbled, tilting her head to one side when he mentioned romance novels. "I've never really been one for that kind of thing, although it doesn't surprise me that the kids are." The amount of them she'd seen around holding hands. It was quite sweet really. Placing a book on the shelf in front of her, she scanned the one already there and scrunched up her nose. "I was thinking maybe something along the lines of a crime novel, or some such thing." |

Kennedy also thought he shouldn't mention that he told his father of his mother's letter. That was a few days ago and he still hasn't gotten a response back. He just hoped he didn't make a mistake in informing the man about his mother's magical background. As far as he knew, everyone believed her roots were traced back to muggles. The Prefect uncrossed his arms and stuffed his hands into his pockets. When his hand brushed against a crumpled piece of parchment inside, he remembered what else he was going to tell Johnathan. "Hey," he said, taking his mother's letter out. For a strange reason he's been carrying it in his pocket everywhere he went. "There was more to my mother's letter," he handed the letter to Johnathan to see the last bit he hadn't read last they saw each other. "Turns out there is a Herald Escalante in our family tree. The same one who was Head Boy all those years ago here...at Hogwarts," he whispered. |
Quote:
"Herald Escalante?" John said as his lips pursed together. "Why would she hide, this guy from you? Especially all this time?" so many questions were going through John's head. It doesn't take a genius to notice many things, going on here.. |

He had thought what Alyssa told him was just a coincidence, but apparently not. Now, he wondered if should go tell Professor Scabior about this. He did say he was. Meh. "Either way, I'm as clueless as you are," he shrugged again, though he had a thinking look on his face. Kennedy couldn't help but still think his mother lied...because she had. |
Quote:
"Hmmm, whatever the reason is. I don't have a good feeling about,it." John said as, he wasn't superstitious but this changed that for a bit. "....I got your back, for whenever you need might need me." he said, lending a helping hand and doing his best to keep this guy safe. John began to picture Kennedy, as an old man, with white hair and white beard. He could easily play the part...well in John's head, of course. |

But not the transfiguration professor. She was into crime novels. Scratching his heard he asked "What kind of crime novel do you want? A murder mystery or something else?" |
Sorry for the lame reply! My brain has died on me. -__- Quote:
Glenn looked out of the corner of her eye at Gwen, "Yes..." She replied slowly. Glenn was her name. She was about to walk away from the girl who was a year older than her when she remembered that she should like, talk to her. Comunicating was apparently nice, shame that. Hmpf. "And you're Gwen, right?" She shrugged, leaning against the bookshelf so she wouldn't collapse under her pile of books. The blonde flipped some hair was her eyes and opened one of her dusty books, flipping lazily through the yellowish pages. "It's a good thing we have dormitories," She said, mostly to herself, "Otherwise we'd have to carry the books around all day like I think they do in muggle schools." Hmm. That's what she thought her mother had told her about muggles. She'd tuned out for a lot of it though, so she couldn't be sure. Bleugh. Muggles weren't the most interesting. |

Hmmm. She was, however, interrupted by something the girl said. ‘Yes, I am’, Gwendolyn said with a small smirk as she drew her attention back to the girl. From where do I recognize her?, the Ravenclaw asked herself. Come on. She was absolutely sure she knew Glenn from somewhere… oh. Right. That entrancing enchantments class. That was terrible. Luckily, Glenn didn’t seem to remember. Good. It was better like that. Though, Gwen didn’t give a lot of importance to what the Hufflepuff was saying. Until... wait- what? Muggle schools? The fourth year raised an eyebrow as she looked at Glenn. ‘How do you know that?’ Because she herself had no idea about muggle schools. Actually- muggles in general. And she was very likely to take a troll in the Muggle Studies exam next year. And yet... even though she needed to study for the subjects she wasn’t necessarily good at, Gwen was still looking for Potions books. Even though she had studied enough for that subject. |
