Maxwell nodded. "Good, i hope it stays that way.." He said honestly.

"Seeing how he wants me dead, I'd have to agree with you." Damon nodded.

Maxwell grimaced. "Well you're safe for now...if anyone can keep a secret it's Dad..." He said knowing His father knew things about the world he'd never tell another soul, except maybe Elizabeth...

"Believe me I can tell... And I've yet to have the chance to thank him again, takes courage to do what he did. Even before saving us." He chuckled remembering his first horror of seeing Jack that day, "He drank a polyjuice potion to look like Anton, came through the front door with my dad tied up, thought for sure I was dead until he pulled his wand on them... And after that, I don't remember what happened." Seeing how that was when he was hit with the spell. He kinda blanked on everything that went on around him.

Maxwell hadn't heard the story from anyone. "Must have been horrible...what...what did it feel like?" He asked about the curse, hoping it wasn't a bad question..

"Extreme pain, not something I'd like to experience again... The moment something like that was casted, normal instinct would be to jump... But you freeze on the spot... An no matter the lengths of your life it does flash and when it hits... Everything else just slows down and you zone out..." He shuddered at the memory.

Ronnie walked down the third corridor, and came across the humpbacked witch statue. She paused, looking at it for a little while. She had never really taken the time to really pause and look at it. And now that she had, she noticed how pretty awesome it was.

She wasn't really going anywhere, she had just been wandering around, so why not just hang around the statue for a while? Maybe she'll see a fellow student to hang out with her by it. That'd be nice. She leaned back against the statue, keeping an eye out for any students. She was feeling kinda lonely today.

After a day out by the Lake Finley came back to the castle trying to find peace and quiet from the one place he had tried to run from earlier today. Life never seemed to go the way he planned. Jeez, he was getting a little crazy.

He sighed and started walking agian, practically running, just trying to find a place to be himself. He walked right by a witch statue. He didn't even notice the girl untill he had already bumped into her. He stumbled and hit the floor. "Ouch, crap, are you okay?" He asked looking to see if the girl had fallen over too.

Ronnie was spacing out, staring at the wall when suddenly someone bumped into her and next thing she knew, she was on the floor. WELL. That was...fun.

Not really.

She got up, and saw the person who had bumped into her on the ground. "I'm fine, are you okay?" she asked, stretching out her hand towards him to help him up.

Finley straightened himself out and grasped the girls hand and pulled himself up. "Sorry" He said, he felt so bad, usually he didn't make a practice of running into girls, and by that he meant literally. He sighed, Finley was really no good at any of this. He sighed, alrighty...moving on.

"I'm fine." He told because she had asked about him....ok...he needed to say something else before this meeting got any more awkward that it already was. "Finley Guff" He told her sticking his hand out for a shake. Yup there, now it wasn't so strange!

"It's fine, really." Ronnie replied, waving a hand as she helped him up. "Oh, that's good to hear." she said as he told her he was fine. Merlin's beard...that'd be terrible if he was hurt.

Ronnie shook his outstretched hand with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Finley. I'm Ronnie Weasley." she said. Okay. What to say now...? Oh! Ronnie knew. "What year are you in?" she asked

He smiled at the girl, she was nice, he was worried after he had ran into her she would be rude, or just run away rather. He wouldn't have blamed her for either to be honest. "Nice to meet you Ronnie." See he was getting better at the talking thing, maybe since he met Laura. He smiled thinking of the Tiny second year who was so annoying.

"Fourth year, Hufflepuff." He added thinking she probably new that he was a Hufflepuff by his robes but he added it for good measure anyway. "And you?" He asked!!

So he was a fourth year too. Awesome!

Ronnie smiled. "I'm a fourth year too!" she replied. "Gryffindor." she added, gesturing to her robes with her hand. She chuckled and smiled. She liked him, he was easy to talk to and was very nice!

Another fourth year ugh? Well that was nice, Finley hldn't gotten much of a chance to get to know people this term. It's been a crazy year for him, especially with his family, things were exactly working out as planned really.

Fin took a step back and leaned against the wall, making himself more comfortable seeing as he was probably going to be here for a while with this conversation. He wasn't sure what else to say though, talking really wasn't always the best thing for him, he never got involved with conversations if he could avoid it to be honest.

"So..." He said not really sure, this was getting him no where, jeez, he was so bad at talking to girls....okay, anyway really.

So...

Hmm.

Looks like it was up to Ronnie to start up a real good conversation. Umm.. "So. Do you play Quidditch?" she finally asked. There. That was a very good question to ask!

Finley laughed, he was really bad with conversations actually, so it was good that he had found some one to start the conversation. He adjusted his weight from one foot to the other trying to get comfortable. He smiled at her question about Quidditch. "No I don't play." He said thinking of the one time he tried to ride a broom. He had broken his wrist. It was no fun at all.

"Truthfully, I don't even watch." He said with a laugh thinking that he never follow the school teams really, it was nice to hear Hufflepuff had done well, but it really didn't matter much. "What about you? Do you play?"

He didn't play? Aww. That was too bad, Quidditch was wicked.

"Really?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "What do you do during matches then?" she asked curiously. What could one do while a Quidditch game was going on? Hmm....interesting.

"Me? Well, I really like to play. Just, as odd as it sounds, I don't wanna be on a team." she said with a shrug. "And I love watching it." she added with a smile.

"I enjoy the quiet of the common room, when everyone is at the games." He told her in response to her questions about what he does when everyone else was at the games. In fact it was his favorite time because he didn't have to deal with anyone, for once he was allowed some peace and queit and that's what he needed more than anything most of the time.

"You just play for fun?" He asked with a smile, that's okay, he understood it. He did most of the things he did for fun.

"Ohh, I see!" she said. "That must be nice." she said thoughtfully. It sounded nice to just be in a place where you could get some peace and quiet, but Ronnie would never miss a Quidditch game just for that.

Ronnie nodded. "Yeah." she said. "So what do you like to do for fun?" she asked.

Fin had to stop and think about that for a second. What did he do for fun? He couldn't remember the last time he had true fun. Not since his mother had since him that owl. No, he would not think about that, no way, not a chance. He was deep in thought, Ronnie would probably think he was nuts, not know right off the bat.

"I enjoy reading." He decided on, which was true, not not fairy tails or fiction. "About history mostly." He added thinking of his Hogwarts A' History book that had been opened so many times the binding was starting to give way. He would need to buy a new one in Diagon Alley this summer. "And you? Besides Quidditch that is." He added with a smile.

Ronnie stood there, waiting for him to reply. Once he did, she smiled. "I love reading too!" she said, getting a little excited. "And I like history as well!" she added, smiling. That was cool that they both liked that!

Hmm...what did Ronnie do for fun? "Well, I really like to draw. Or do anything that has to do with art." she replied. "And I really like listening to old muggle bands and playing drums." she said. "And I think that's it!" she said.

The muggle drums ugh? That made Fin smile, he had always wanted to learn how to play but never really had a chance growing up. There was still time though. "That's great, I've always wanted to learn how to play." He sad thinking of the time he had begged his mother to buy him a drum set. Of course she said no, she always said no to everything.

"I'm lousy at art work. Even my stick people suck." He added smiling thinking of how bad his drawing really were. He was no good at anyting other than reading really. He could read all day and never get bored, even with history books, which he loved more than anything. "I'm sort of hungry. Want to eat with my in the Great Hall?" He added smiling, was this sort of a date??? Finley blushed at the though, hopefully she didn't catch on.

"Maybe I can teach you a few things...like over the summer. You can come over if ya want." Ronnie replied with a smile. That'd be fun! And maybe they'd eat candy too. 'Cause Ronnie liked candy. . .it was wonderful!

Ronnie chuckled as he said his stick people sucked. "Oh, come on I'm sure they're not that bad!" Ronnie said. But maybe drawing just wasn't his thing. Reading seemed like what he liked best, and that was awesome!

Hmm...come to think of it, Ronnie was kinda hungry too. So, why not? "Sure, I'd love to!" she said.

"Okay come on then" Fin added with a smile, okay good, she didn't notice the blush that's good. He hated when he blushed stupidly like that. Finley started walking toward the Great Hall, he was starving and he could really go for some pudding! He looked back just to make sure that Ronnie was following.

"Alright!" Ronnie said, returning the smile. "So, what table should we sit at?" Ronnie asked, looking at him as they walked.
