Minerva had just popped a Chocolate Frog in her mouth when someone yelled. She looked around surely it wasn't to her right, but then there it was again. She looked up to see a boy, a puff boy at that looking at her. She almost spit the frog on him when he spoke. She swallowed hard and giggled a bit, "Did you just say crackalackin" she giggled, "Are you knew? I dont' know if I've seen you around before." she thought she knew all her house mates. "Chocolate Frog?" She didn't know if he was wanting to talk to her, but it was always nice to offer food to people, well she thought so anyway.

She didn't like exams? "Yeah, who does?" Evelyn answered, grumpily. She'd spent so much time studying the past few days..that she was pretty sure she was going crazy. That was one of the reasons why she'd been wandering around Hogwarts today. She wanted a break from studying.

Hm? How she'd been? Evelyn smiled and have a small shrug of her shoulders. "Busy with studying for NEWT's, homework, classes..you know, just the usual." Heh. Her life had been pretty dull lately. In a way, she was kind of looking forward to graduation..at least, she'd get away from the books. EEEK. Anyway. "So..what are you doing here?"

She said it. She said the 'C' word; CHOCOLATE! Oh that stuff is so yummy. "Chocolate? I would love some." Fin grinned looking at the chocolate as if he were in love. "I'm a returning student. I haven't been here in about three or four terms. It's because of my mother's job. She travels a lot for her job." He told her. "I'm Finbar." he said holding out his hand. "You?.

Minerva laughed at his face towards the Chocolate frogs. She pulled a handful out of her bag. "Here help yourself. Where all did you travel?" she was very interested in new places and thought it was cool that someone got to travel with a parent. "So what year are you?" she had asked Finbar that was a neat name Minerva thought to herself. "I'm Minerva, but most people just call me either Min or Minnie." she gave him a smile. "I'm a third year."

Lana's eyes got big for a moment as she listened. She didn't know Blue, but she was a housemate and all. For a moment, she was terrified that poor Blue had lost them points and all, but she pressed that concern away and turned her attention back to Laura. "Normal and innocent? You know that's in the eye of the beholder," she giggled. Innocent and normal were two things that neither of them could do all that well whilst trying to get out of trouble.

Grabbing her sister's hand and smiled. "Let's go then, I'll even help you with some of your homework." They did work really well together and maybe if she helped her sister, she would understand more herself. It was just good to be not fighting again with Laura and now that they had promised each other they would stick together, she was even more determined to keep her word to herself.

Girls dormitory, Hufflepuff Common Room, Kitchen Level, Entrance Hall, First Second and Third floor corridors. She had been walking for what seemed to be forever but she was really only half way on her journey now. Carigan kept walking, kept moving.

Laura looked at Lana and smiled. "I know what you mean, remember when we were 8 and we each bought and ice-cream on the way home from school, even though mummy had said tea would be ready when we got home and we tried to act all innocent." Laura giggled that had been a laugh and maybe they might have gotten away with it if they hadn't forgotten to wipe their mouths.

Laura give her sister a big hug. "Thanks sis and I'll try and help you with your homework." Laura smiled. "I must be good at at least one lesson." Laura would love to find out what it was though.

Travel? Well loads of places. "There are tons but some are London, Edinburgh, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, Dallas, Nashville, you know just to name a few." he wasn't trying to rub it in but he kinda sounded like that to him. "Most of it is because of my mother's job though but it's fun to visit those places. Berlin is very beautiful and so is Nashville." America was beautiful in general to him.

"I'm a sixth year. It's lovely to meet you Minnster." Nicknames that's what he was good at but some of them would end up being weird sometimes.

Minerva laughed at his name for her. "Wow that sounds amazing. I am from the States so I know the places you went. I have never been to Vegas, but I have been to the others. My dad was military so we moved a lot and we went to Nashville on vacation once." She liked this new person she thought to herself, maybe he could be a new friend. She liked finding new friends especially if they were puffs.

Ella left the library and headed down the fourth floor corridor, eyeing the book she found on grindylows with curiosity. The second year was both fascinated and horrified by the little creatures, mostly because they were little and powerful and deadly. She was only one of those three things and she was quite interested in the other too. Though she'd never ever want to be deadly! EEP! That wouldn't be good.

Continuing to read as she walked, a nasty habit the second year had picked up, Ella was unaware of anyone else in her path. Besides, people would move out of her way when they saw her coming, yeah?

Most people wouldn't notice that there was a tiny girl walking in the corridor. Most people would know that she was the short but very lethal, mind you Queen Alice Fischer. Most people wouldn't know that she planned on taking over the world and succeeding. And all people wouldn't know that she was rummaging in her schoolbag for a misplaced Chocolate Frog, who she had saved from being eaten by a giant fifth year. But, since he was in her bag with her books and thing, he was probably smashed to death by now. Blue would be proud, would she not? :3

Alice walked while she searched her bag, unaware of the people surrounding her. They would move out of her way, wouldn't they? But just as she drew this conclusion, she ran into someone. HMPH. More like someone ran into her. The tiny girl sat up and rubbed her eyes. Blink. Blink. Blink. She probably would have been upset, if it wasn't for her relief that the little frog who she had saved was sitting, alive and definitely un-smashed, next to the girl who she had run into. "OIYOU." Yeah, her words were definitely Queen-like. "Hand me that frog thing over there, won't you?"

The second year was on the floor, her library book no longer in her hands and her bottom quite sore. Ugh. She really needed to stop reading while walking...or just stop bumping into people in general. EEP! And she hadn't hurt the other person, right? Her wide green eyes traveled from the floor to the person who she had knocked over when...

Why was this girl yelling at her again? And huh? Frog thing? Ella's eyes traveled down to where the crazy girl was looking and saw what she was talking about. A chocolate frog. YUM! ...but she couldn't eat it. Frown. And so the second year picked it up and dusted it off before standing and doing the same to herself. She then took a few steps forward and handed the girl the frog. "Um...you okay?" She asked, offering the yeller a hand to help her up.

YAY! She had fwoggie back!! BUT. WAIT. He had to have a name, didn't he? She was going to name him... FRANK.

Alice patted the Chocolate Frog on the head. "There, there, Frank, you're safe now." He was kind of cute. And she had already gotten attached to him. "I think I'm going to keep you, Frank. Say hello to your new mommy!" BEAMBEAMBEAMBEAMBEAM. Did it seem weird that she was talking to candy? "My friend is obsessed with banning Chocolate Frogs and she'd probably kill me if I accidentally hurt one," she explained to the other girl, who seemed nice enough.

The tiny third year took her hand, and when standing up, found that this girl was taller than her, too. HMPH. "Yes, I'm fine, thanks." She dusted off her robes with the hand that wasn't holding Frank and then let her large blue-green eyes look over the other girl's face. She didn't seem familiar, so Alice asked her name. "Who're you?" Then she outstretched the hand that held her new pet. "And would you like to pet Frank?" BEAM.

Ella watched curiously as this girl started petting her chocolate frog. Strange. Didn't she know those were meant for eating? And he had a name, now? ...Frank. Ella considered this thoughtfully. That was actually quite a good name for a frog. Plus it had that whole alliteration thing going for it...Frank the Frog. Ella approved. Oh, and then this frog lover was talking to her. Her friend was trying to BAN chocolate frogs? O___o "But why would she want to ban them?" The second year asked, eyebrows raised. Chocolate frogs were delicious!

Ella pulled when the girl accepted her help and watched as she stood, dusting herself off. Grin. So she wasn't hurt. That was good! "I'm glad." She said, giving the girl a small smile. "...My book." Ella said suddenly, looking around them. She had been reading when they bumped into each other and couldn't see it. She began walking around in a circle, when she found it spread open a ways to the right. Bending down, she scooped it up and smoothed the pages before shutting it again. Poor book.

Walking back over, Ella watched as the girl opposite her eyed her, as if sizing her up or something. Who was she? "I'm Ella Bishop." She said with a smile, trying to stand up a little straighter. "Who are you?" The second year then asked in return, before raising her eyebrows. Erm...did she want to pet Frank? Truthfully? She really wanted to EAT Frank. But that didn't seem like the right thing to do, especially since the frog shaped chocolate had a name. You just couldn't eat something once it had a name. It wasn't right. "I uh...sure." Pat. Pat. Pat.

Why did she want to ban them? " It's 'cause she thinks they're alive and 'tis inhumane to eat 'em," Alice said nonchalantly, distracted by smoothing a chocolate wrinkle forming on Frank's back. After thinking for a moment, she added, "They ARE alive, that I know. But I dunno if 'tis inhumane. I just don't eat 'em out of respect for her." But as much as she loved her friends, they had better be nice to Frank no matter how much they liked Chocolate Frogs.

After finally smoothing out Frank's wrinkle, Alice set him on her head, where he bobbed up and down happily. "HEH. I feel like Prefect Pygmy Puff, 'cept with a fwoggie," she giggled. Now she understood why Selena was so protective of Kent. kind of. Well, not really. 'Cause Kent was nowhere close to Frank in levels of awesometasticalness. "'Tis your book okay?" While speaking, the lioness pulled out her wand, ready to repair the book if needed.

"HAII ELLA." BEAMBEAMBEAMBEAMBEAM. "Can I call you Ells? YEAHH. Imma call you Ells. 'Cause two syllables is just two much work." Alice wrinkled her nose in disgust. Work was almost as nasty as boys. "I'm Alice Fischer. But you can call me Queen Alice. 'Cause Imma rule the world one day." SUPER BEAM. Yeahh. But not many people called her Queen Alice, even though they risked the misfortune of getting their name on her list. "I also go by Little Demon. BUT DON'T CALL ME THAT. This mean boy named Edric gave that name to me. HE'S EVIL. And gwoss. I hope his girlfriend doesn't die because of his germs." Poor Evs. Such a whole spirit, such a short life.. sigh. BUT. Anyways. "Fanks for saving Frank." BEAMMMMMM.

Ella looked at the girl thoughtfully as she considered her friend's reasons for wanting to ban chocolate frogs. Well if she really thought they were alive, the second year could totally understand the inhumane thing. And then Alice was agreeing that they were alive and Ella's green eyes grew a little wider. BUT THEY WEREN'T ALIVE. They couldn't be...cause if they were O___O Ella had eaten about a hundred LIVING chocolate frogs. Frown. This made her incredibly uneasy. She'd have to discuss this with someone she trusted, someone who enjoyed sweets just as much as her, Alec Summers. Oh...and she should probably respond now, yeah? "That's nice of you to do that for your friend." It was really nice, actually. Though Ella figured she'd do the same for her friends as well. It was kinda bestie code to support a friend's ideas or beliefs, yeah?

The second year giggled as she watched this girl then place the fr-Frank on top of her head. That's where she let Barnabus ride sometimes so it seemed like a suitable spot for the little pet. But huh? Who was Prefect Pygmy Puff? "I don't know a pygmy puff prefect..." Ella admitted with a shrug. What made someone a pygmy puff anything, anyway? Did the girl have loads of pygmy puffs? O__O Was she a pygmy puff hoarder!? EEK! Oh...but now the blonde girl was talking about something else...her book. Looking down, Ella frowned slightly before shrugging. "Oh it's okay. I was a bit scared I'd ripped the pages or something but I didn't...thank merlin." Cause damaging a book was just as bad as eating ALIVE frogs!

Ella smiled, trying not to laugh at the two syllables comment. This girl was quite funny! "Sure you can call me Ells, most of my friends do!" Like Edric! BEAM. He always called her that. Her eyebrows raised slightly when the girl went on to introduce herself, and proclaim that she'd rule the world someday. "Okay, Queen Alice it is." She said with a small smile. "And I hope you're a kind ruler..." Because Ella was a small member of this big world and she wanted a cool ruler...who gave out ice cream on the reg! Yeah!

"Um...Edric, is he tall and erm...brown hair...kinda scroogey?" She didn't even know why she was asking, the older boy had already told her about the duck pond incident. "He's my...well he's my bestest friend and kinda older brother and my evil fairy godfather." Though she figured Alice would only be concentrating on the evil bit. AND WAIT! She'd said girlfriend..."You mean Evelyn!?" Ella was a bit excited now, smiling to herself. "...Do you think they like each other too?" Mwahaha! She was quite excited about this possibility. Oh and..."No problem. I'm glad Frank didn't get squished." ...or that she hadn't impulsively decided to eat him.

Louisa walked out of the library, closing the door behind her with her foot as her hands hugged the three books she was supposed to rake through for this library search thing Scabior got them to work on. She had a neutral expression on her face and her mind focused very hard on getting up to the dorms before that hexing maniac girl saw her somewhere.

As much as it bothered Alice to be called nice, uh, HELLO, people, evil little girl here?! o___O she figured it was a compliment, so she beamed at Ella. "Well, Blue does a lot of things for me too. She teaches me about Muggle superheroes who I have to beat to become Queen." oh, yeah. Those guys sounded scary. "Did you know there's this one guy who can shoot spider webs from his hands? And he can like cling to buildings and stuff." If she became Queen, would he give her his power? 'Cause then she could have spider webs and a pretty American shield and an iron bodysuit and a magical hammer and become a giant green monster whenever she wished. o__O

She didn't know who Prefect Pygmy Puff was? "Prefect Pygmy Puff; Seventh year. Head Girl. Snake. Always riding around with Kent, her purple furball, on her head?" Oh yeah, she had some bad run-ins with her. Not getting in trouble, but because Sel thought she was more awesometastical than the lioness. Which she totally was not. Twitch. and.. AWWH. Ella was going to call her Queen Alice?! No one ever actually did that. Other than Prefect Eve, Alice was starting to fall in love with the whole Hufflepuff house. "WELL. I'm kind to people who are kind to others as well. And won't eat Frank. And won't challenge the levels of my awesomeosity."

The third year rubbed her chin. "Well, everyone I know is taller than me, so that's probably him. And YES. He is definitely Scrooge-y. He likes to go around pushing little girls in ponds, y'know." And pretend he couldn't swim so little girls would try to save him and nearly drown in the process. The evil bloke. =w= "Err.. Scrooge is capable of having friends? Are you sure we're talking about the same person here?" Alice cocked an eyebrows at her friend."Erm.. Edric and Eve? Who's Eve?" She knew the Prefect would probably kill her if she said anything about.. err.. the incident. Plus, Alice was sure that if she spoke of it, she would vomit.

Adam had been meaning to return this book to the library for quite some time, and every time he went to do it he thought of something else, and then the whole returning idea was completely wiped from his mind. But this time, he figured he should do it right when he remembered it, or that book was never going to be returned before the end of the school year and Adam's time at Hogwarts. Adam was walking with his eyes cast downwards for the most part, a habit that he had developed over the past couple of weeks. The stone pavement of the castle was so steady and consistent that Adam found an odd sort of comfort in it...something that he had been missing before. However upon hearing the sound of the door in front of him close Adam looked up to find Louisa standing there, a rather odd expression on her face. The unexpectedness of seeing here right then and there took Adam completely off guard, that all he could do was stop and stand there.

Louisa's head was turned to the side, seeing whether someone was getting out behind her from the library or not, but when she turned it forward again a slightly taller blonde guy was standing there giving her a blank surprised look as if he forgot about her mere existence.

Dropping her head after only two seconds, dropping it too low so that her black and amber hair came down to hide her face, Louisa hugged her books tighter to her chest and quickly moved out of his way her mouth forming a hurt pout. She'd missed him so much that it hurt to fulfill his wish after a month and a half, if it was up to her she'd just smile or cry or do any kind of communication with Adam.

But she liked him too much to force him into accepting her or taking her back as a friend. She understood his anger, his feel of betrayal by none other than his two best friends. Particularly herself.

She pursed her lips and blinked quickly to avoid any watering in the eyes as she enjoyed the coverage her long hair provided. Only a moment and she'd be back to holding that Poker face again, shoving everything she was feeling right then deep inside.

Ella returned the BEAM with one of her own. "She does? Well I guess that's not surprising! Blue is super nice." It was totally true. Blue was Captain adorable as far as Ells was concerned. But wait...did she say she'd have to beat all the superheroes to become queen? "That'll be quite hard, won't it? Beating all those guys?" It seemed that way. "Hey, maybe you could like...join forces with them! That might be a better idea." They could be like her very own body guards! That'd be SO cool. "Course I know that! You mean Spiderman, yeah? I wish I had his powers. I think it'd be quite cool to shoot webs." And she held out her hand, pretending to shoot one at the wall.

The description of the pygmy puff prefect did sound vaguely familiar and so the second year nodded. "Ohhh yeah. I think I've seen her! Though I guess I try to keep away from Slytherins...well except Theodore. He's nice." So he was an exception to her rule. Mhm! "Is she...nice?" Just so she knew whether or not to stay away from the older girl. GRIN. So Alice would be a kind queen...well as long as others were kind. And didn't eat Frank. ...if only he weren't so tempting to eat, though! Curse his chocolatey goodness! Awesomeosity sounded cool as well, Ella wanted to know where she could buy some of that. "How does one get this...awesomeosity?" You didn't have to like steal it or anything...right?

Ella listened to Alice as she explained that the boy, who was clearly Ella's ogre, was indeed tall and scroogey...and pushed little kids. YUP. That was Edric, alright. And PSH! Course he was capable of having friends...he just needed a chance! "He has friends! I mean he has me...and Evelyn! And we're pretty awesome so..." Shrug. Wait...Alice didn't know Eve? DID EDRIC HAVE ANOTHER SECRET GIRLFRIEND?! O__o "You know, Evelyn...she's nice and smart and the Hufflepuff prefect?" AND EDRIC'S SECRET GIRLFRIEND...one of many apparently.

Adam stared at Louisa who had somehow managed by barely looking up to make out that it was him. Well...he assumed that she had realized it was him, because he figured that Louisa didn't make a habit of avoiding everyone's eye contact like this. Adam supposed that it was his turn to grab the library drawer and walk through it considering Louisa had stepped aside for him but Adam couldn't seem to get his legs to respond. In all honesty he had been pretty surprised that they had managed to not see each other this long, and as Adam looked at the mass of black and amber hair...the touches that Adam had loved on their date...he could only imagine what was going on underneath it.

The response of thinking this way brought a flood of emotion that Adam tried to conceal from his own face, since he didn't have a mass of hair to hide it behind. It was regret that he had made Louisa feel this way. It was anger that what had happened between her and Paulie. It was the repetitive sting of betrayal that seemed to haunt Adam when he tried to fall asleep at night. But above it all it was a longing to not leave things with Louisa like this forever. Adam had played it back and forth in his head over and over trying to decide if he could forgive and move forward with them. Sometimes he felt like he shouldn't...that that kind of betrayal is not the kind that you can move on from, but another part of him wondered if he had the right. Louisa and him weren't dating anymore. Did he still have the right to get angry over who she decided to kiss? No...he didn't. But he did have the right to be hurt that the boy she decided to kiss was his best mate...the one that had fought so hard for them to get together in the first place.

Adam shifted his gaze downwards, trying to shake that painful stream of thoughts out of his head. If there was a time to say something it was now. "Hi," Adam managed to partially choke out, barely over the sound of a whisper.

Louisa's body was facing the empty corridor and her legs urged her to move forward and away from him quickly, she didn't want to be right within his reach when he detested her so much. She already knew the amount of emotions Adam usually let go of when he was angry, and Louisa didn't want to end up with a bruise like Paulie. Even if she doubted that the Gryffindo would actually hurt her physically, she wanted to make sure she was out of his reach. Her bruised mind was enough.

... but then a whisper, a breath - no a determined breath was heard as she took the two steps away from him. Louisa stood still, her head still lowered, her chin resting on the book's edge, hugged to her chest. She made a feeble attempt of raising her gaze and turning herself around to look at him and see if he really meant to talk to her. HER!

Maybe he didn't recognize her? Maybe he forgot the hairdo she did for him? Her mind went through a lot of "maybe"s but her body moved automatically toward Adam so that she was facing him, with her head still lowered. "H-hi." She urged her feet to move, to turn around and leave again since he of course wouldn't want to talk to her more than a polite greeting. Maybe he was just showing her that he was better than ignoring an ex best friend. Whatever the reason of his 'hi' was, Louisa stayed rooted to her spot waiting for him to leave first... maybe she could lift her eyes and look at his back as he went inside.

Adam managed to pull his eyes upwards after he had gotten out the hi that sounded more like someone choked it out of him than anything else. He wished that it had been more confident sounding but then again to have expected anything to come out confident sounding or for their first encounter since that day in the great hall to go smoothly or unawkwardly was just completely unrealistic and naive. People didn't just recover or forget exchanges like that, and Adam believed that that was really the first time that Louisa and Paulie had both witnessed the anger management problems that Adam insisted that he had, but he had a feeling his friends never really believed. The truth was Adam was angry. A lot. And all the time. And no matter how many times he tried to rid himself of it, it was never really gone. It was always just below the surface waiting for the right opportunity or motive to rear its head. And up until that day at the great hall Adam had found joy in knowing that Louisa and Paulie were two people that could push that side of him down.

He watched as Louisa turned, not realizing that she had moved away from him slightly. She had probably done it while his eyes were directed towards the ground and not her face. Never in his life had he encountered such a painful silence that instinctively Adam found himself holding his breath, waiting to see if she was going to respond. He wouldn't blame her if she didn't. After all he had been the one to tell her that he never wanted to see her face again. At the time it had been true, and for a while after it had been true, but now it wasn't. He had pretty much given up hope and was about to turn to go into the library when he heard the words come out of her mouth. She hadn't looked up at all, but she had definitely spoken hi back to him, and he was pretty sure her hi sounded just as strained as his.

"Louisa..." Adam started, the words still not coming out very loud. "I...I've missed you."

... he spoke. To her. He spoke to her! And no, it wasn't just any random casual words, he'd missed her? He missed her?! If he, the one who issued the order of them staying apart all this time, had missed what should she, who just succumbed to his wish, say or express how she was feeling? Louisa opened her mouth to say that she missed him more, but it only came out as a whimper making her to quickly purse her lips together and wiping at her dry eyes to force them NOT to tear up.

Although that built up fortress of emotions could scramble down now that he decided to open up a bit... Louisa could let it go and open her emotions as well, only there would be a lot of tears and sore throat issues. She swallowed the lump and tried again, careful not to lift her face but keep it hidden as much as possible. "I'm so sorry, Adam. I don't want you to hate me forever..." she sniffed, "I understand your anger and hurt but please... don't hate me forever." OH AND "Don't hate Paulie ever. It was all me." She wasn't one to play hero or victim, and the Gryffindor should know this. Louisa was always a girl of facts and logic. So yeah... she was saying he shouldn't hate his best mate on her account but he could hate her for the time being.

Although you don't say 'I missed you' to someone who hate. So he didn't even hate her... that made the lump in her throat grow even bigger, how come both of Adam and Paulie can't do this one thing for her? Display hatred toward her foolish acts? Consider this her punishment that would force her not to fall into her reckless decisions. But no, they had to be this good and not hate her.

Well she hated herself. There. Problem solved.
