Elijah watched as Elwood placed his preeeecccciooooussss in her bag. Hmph. There was a teeeeenyyyy tiinnnnnyyyy weeeeee part of him that kind of wanted the locket to be cursed and for it to turn Elwood into an elephant or something. But then Elijah remembered he too had touched the locket... yep, he decided to retract that last wish...

With the locket business done, Elijah took the time to look over his hand. "You have done me so well," he whispered to his soon-to-be stumpy hand so no one could overhear him, "You've helped me pick up girls and... and... pretended to be writing in class so it looked as if I was working and... annddd..." GULP "... no other hand will ever be able to work the magic you do on my hair..."

This was all getting to be too much and that was when Vickers thought it was best to come over and start pestering him. Wasn't this 'Claw ever satisfied with his torments? However, the next words out of Vee's mouth conflicted his insides. On one hand (HA!) he felt RELEIF that he wasn't actually going to have a stump for the rest of his life, but on the other hand Vicker's had told him a CRUEL lie.

Had this all been part of Kurumi and Vickers' secret affair which seemed to have a 'Let us torture Elijah' clause?

"Why on EARTH would you joke about something like that?" he responded, keeping his voice down to be sure not to draw attention to themselves from Elwood, AGAIN. "You and Kurmui," GUH, "Can just go off on your little love boat and leave ME alone."

HMPH.

He sure showed him. Elijah quickly decided to busy himself and began picking up sticks, since that was what everyone else was doing right. He picked up a long stick, a short one, a wet one... EW, that one got dropped... one that looked like it had Merlin engraved on it... he was certain some of these had to be right...

When the professor called for the class to stop what they were doing, Ella stood up from her spot on the ground and dusted off her clothes. Oh! So they would be carving into their sticks just like they had carved in Ancient Runes! This made Ella feel a little better as she had already experienced the use of 'Intaglio'. Right, and since she had all of her sticks already, she seemed to be dismissed.

On her way by the group of students and professors, the second year couldn't help but over hear one very angry Romeo Elijah boy saying something about a love boat...Huh? Had she missed a rejection of the lover boy!? Awww man! That was no good. But hey, he did look quite upset over the matter. That wasn't good either. The small blonde frowned slightly, feeling quite bad for the puff who tended to lose SO many points for her house, and had the urge to pat him on the back. She didn't though, mostly cause it would probably make him think that she LOVED him or something...and she didn't. Ick.

"Bye Professor-I mean Professors...and Mr. Murdoch...erm Healer Tillstorm." Merlin! There were a lot of staff here! And then she was off, headed towards the castle once again.

That smell..where was it coming from?

Renesmee had been out once again. This smell no matter what it was, had been the reason she could wake up. It was a strong scent and it of course opened up her nose within less than a few minutes. As her smell started coming back to her, so did everything else. She thought this whole thing had been a dream and instead of being in the forest, she thought she was in her dorm.

"What a strange dream." She said to herself with her eyes still closed. She yawned and afterwards blinked only to be highly surprised by what was before her. It just couldn’t be. This whole dream was actually real? How did all of this happen?

Merlin. This was awkward!

Right in front of her nose was some kind phial. It must have been where the smell had come from previously. The red head cringed her nose at the smell and then looked up to see Professor Williamson’s gorgeous face. He was so strong carrying her like this, even though she must have been fairly light to him. She couldn’t get over the fact that she was really in he’s arms. It wasn’t all a dream! She was in Professor Williamsons arms! This was in some way amazing!

"Oh. My. Gosh." Were the only words that could come out of her mouth. She then began staring at the handsome Professor’s face and no where else. She wasn’t interested in what was around her. Nope not at all.

Sarah had alreeady colleced her sticks so she set to work :"Itaglio" she said and made this symbol on her willow bark together with the letter. She made the symnols on the rest of them alond with the corresponding letter (L for Rowan, B for Birch etc). She had already leaned the spell in ancient ruins so she was getting good at it.

Alyssa was glad to hear to see Professor Elwood place the locket into the bag instead of anywhere on her person. She was very interested to find out whether both Professors were able to find out anything from that girl working in the Hogsmeade shop.

However, she was disappointed to hear that they had to end their class early. She gathered around Professor Elwood, as she demonstrated how they were supposed to carve the Ogham Staves into the twigs.

'So it's almost like carving the Runes. We use the Intaglio spell.' Alyssa thought to herself as she scribbled down in her book what spell would be used. Picking up her backpack with the twigs that she had collected, as well as, the three twigs that she had taken from the containers, she slung the backpack over her back before making her way to Professor Elwood.

"Thank you for another interesting lesson, Professor. Too bad it had to be interrupted by the Bowtruckles."She told her.

Then turning to include Professor Williamson who was still holding onto Nessie lucky her, Alyssa said,"I hope that you will be able to find out to whom this locket belongs to and what happened to her, Professors. Best of luck.".

With a smile and a wave, Alyssa made her way back to the castle.

She would NOT give it back to the Puff boy, no matter how he tried to reason with her and she wasn't going to just leave it in the forest.

Because of the urgency of the situation now, Professor Elwood decided the lesson needed to beigin wrapping up. "Everyone please stop what you are doing and come to stand by me." Callie pulled out one of the Reed sticks and held her wand in the other. "Since there are so many things happening right now, I am going to call an end to our lesson early. Right now I am going to show you how I want you to create your Ogham Staves and then give you a few more minutes to finish up collecting your sticks." She put the tip of her wand to the top of the stick and spoke the spell used for carving, "Itaglio." She then made the appropriate sign from the parchment on the stick and then below it carved the appropriate Celtic alphabet letter. "I want you to do this for each stick and to not only do the symbol but the letter so that you can tell which is which since the symbols tend to look similar." She nodded as she placed the locket into her bag.

She looked at the students before her to see that some had more sticks than others and some didn't have any at all. "Now before we leave you all have a few more minutes to retrieve the remaining sticks you need and then you are dismissed. Homework will be posted after the lesson as usual." She waved a hand at them all and then walked back over to the Care of Magical Creatures Professor holding the still passed out Puff.

"William you may want to take her up to the Hospital Wing yourself, it seems Cece isn't coming." Maybe her Patronus got messed up somehow, or she was just busy? Oh well.

OCC: I am going to close the lesson at Noon (EST) so you have roughly 14 hours to finish collecting all of the sticks in at least three posts. Great work everyone despite all of our interruptions.

"Yeah," William frowned, glancing down at the Puff in his arms, "I guess you're right. She's probably backed up---"

"You know, it would have been easier to just leave her on the ground levitate her." Really, what was the point in being a witch or wizard if you were just going to do things the hard way all the time?

Cece was really tempted to just slap the puff to wake her up but she wanted to keep her job... for now. So instead she waved a phial of smelling salts under her nose. Something she kept with her at all times. "That should wake her up." And if it didn't then just throw her behind a tree and leaver her there. That would just be one less annoying puff to deal with.

"---in the Hospital Wing." William finished his thought just as the Healer speak of the devil and she will come! came marching out of the castle. Well well. Never mind, then. "You know me," he offered Cece a sheepish little grin, "I'm no good at magic."

Also, he was something of an idiot. Really, Willy, you could think to levitate the woodlice out of the bucket but ya couldn't think to levitate an unconscious student off the ground?

"Uhhhh," Willy wasn't sure if he should use the magic now, or...? Levitate the girl out of his arms or just drop her set her down gently? He could tell from Cece's expression which tactic she would prefer... but then again, it seemed like the girl was still in some sorta daze.

She was just staring at him. "Do I have something up my nose?" William called out loudly, looking between the Healer and the Puff. "Erm. You fainted, Renesmee, but I think you're just fine now." He awkwardly bent his arms down and lowered her to the forest floor, giving her a shy smile as he took a step back. "I didn't want you to be trampled by everyone panicking over the bowtruckles," and/or tripped on any more, "so... yeah."

Willy hastily shoved his hands back into his pockets and gave Callie a nod. "Hey, let me know when you plan on going to check out that locket. I'd like to know what's up with it too." So maybe he could go with? Then William nodded to Cece and Waylon, and the student who'd greeted him too, muttering, "See ya later," as he headed out the forest.
