After making your long journey to the seventh floor and after ascending the Divination Tower you finally arrive at the trap door leading up to the Divination Classroom--what can you say, the Hogwarts Staff wanted only the dedicated students to attempt the subject. After climbing the ladder into the classroom you will see that the once nearly empty room from the two previous terms before is now full of desks again and many other items brought by it's new inhabitant.
Go ahead and take a seat at one of the many chairs set up two to a small table on the risers at the far end of the room but as he you do you will pass the Professor's desk where a number of incense were burning. The room was stuffy as usual, with curtains pulled overly the windows.
Professor Elwood was seen sitting at her desk a small smile on her face as she nevously awaited the students of her first lesson as a teacher. Her parrot Galileo was sitting on his perch in the far corner of the room with a small sign on him that said, "Do NOT feed for fear of losing a finger!'.
The lesson shall begin shortly.
OCC: Welcome to my first lesson ever! Be sure to read the Divination Classroom Rules and familiarize yourself with them. I don't want to have to take points this early in the term. Also I will be updating this post with links to important things through the lesson so you won't be lost.
Evelyn wasn't really enthusiastic about this lesson. She didn't even know why she was taking it..she found the subject rather ridiculous. How on earth was this subject going to help her in the future? Anyway.
The seventeen year old FINALLY entered the classroom, slightly out of breath. "Hello Professor." Evelyn smiled at the new Professor. "Welcome to Hogwarts." She might as well be nice. She made her way to one of the seats in the middle and sat down, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Sl..ow...ly... Lily made her way up the ladder and into the tower. Having only been in this tower once for a seminar the past year, the Ravenclaw had gone down to the Great Hall earlier in the day so that it wouldn't be as far of a walk to get to the class. Boy, was she misleaded. Instead of coming up here first for the lesson, she had gone to the other classroom that had housed Divination during the only year Lily had been at Hogwarts. How would she know that the class was in the tower?...
Trudging through the entrance to the classroom, Lily sighed slightly loudly before trying to grin to the new professor. "Hey... Professor. Quite a hike to get up here, huh?" Ok... not quite the best thing to say to a Professor the first time you meet them. "Welcome to Hogwarts." That was better. Well, kinda... The second year glanced around the room and went and took a seat off to the side, dropping her bag onto the floor before pulling out a Quill and piece of parchment.

New year of divination with a new professor!
After climbing the 38497598314534 million stairs, a slight exaggeration, Paulie ambled on in to the stuffy classroom and tossed his bag beside one of the seats. "Hello, Professor," he greeted, his eyes averting to the bright parrot for a moment. Oh! What a cool pet. Kinda made her seem like a pirate, right? She would probably score points from the students in the 'coolness' category for having a pet parrot. Even MORE points if he talked.
He leaned back and awaited the start of their lesson.

Vickers made his way from the Ravenclaw tower towards the other tower that housed the Divination classroom. It was a shorter trip for him this time, not having to make his way all the way down to the ground floor. He climbed the ladder and hoisted himself up, pausing for a moment to adjust his sight to the dimness of the classroom. As he searched for a good seat he passed by the new Divinations teacher "Goodmorning Professor." the Ravneclaw greeted her with a nod and a polite smile on his face. As he turned his eyes fell on the parrot perched at the corner "You have a parrot." he said, his eyes brightening considerably as his thoughts immediately went to his pet cockatoo currently reigning the owlery. He spotted the sign as his smile widened even further "A feisty one too Professor?"

Nerida bounced into the classroom and said Good day Professor and welcome to Hogwarts. I am Nerida Eventide! Noticing the parrot she said You have such a pretty parrot! Whats his name? Nerida was being a bit to curious but it was a pretty blue and yellow bird, and it was a parrot!! Who didnt like parrots? Her brother has a parrot named Arnold, but it wasnt a very nice parrot! Noticing the sign she stepped back a bit...
She remembered she had made a welcome card, she took it out and handed it to her.

FINALLY. A lesson that wasn't waaaaaaaaaaay across the castle grounds or in the lower corridors. This was close to her! Isidora cheerfully bound into the classroom, grinned at the professor, and waved. "Hi!" That parrot, the biting one? Yeah she wasn't sitting anywhere near that thing for fear of losing a finger. She was taking that sign VERY SERIOUSLY.
She did sit up front though and swung her legs as she waited for the lesson to get started already.

Pyrsephonie was excited about her first class. She'd always had an intrest in Divinations, so this was going to be fun. She walked up to the Professor and introduced herself. "Hello Professor," she said, smiling. "I'm Pyrsephonie Freja Black. I'm very excited about this class!" Then she noticed a colourful mass. "Oh! A parrot!" She went up to the bird, but kept a good distance. "Hey there, birdy."
After introducing herself to the Professor (and the parrot) Pyrsephonie looked around for a second, and then took a seat in around the middle of the class.
Cornelius, faced with the ladder before him, got half way up it before he decided to simply toss his messenger book bag up ahead of him, not pleased with the slow pace it was making him climb at. And so, the first thing seen of Cornelius Rune was his book bag, seeming to fly out of nowhere and settling just outside the trap door's opening. It was only there for a moment before its owner caught up at a speedy pace, popping his head up and glancing around at the room with mild interest in his light brown eyes. Whoa. So this was the Divination classroom...
He quickly climbed the last few steps, grabbed his bag, and turned to the Professor with a polite smile. "Hello, Professor," he greeted with a brief nod and a smile before he found a seat towards the middle of the room, still glancing around himself with interest.

Hydra walked into the divination classroom and straight past the teachers desk then quickly ran back and said 'Hello Professor! Sorry I didn't see you there.' Hydra smiled before continuing 'I'm Hydra.' She walked over towards the desk right in between the first few at the front and back. She placed her satchel under the desk and waited for the lesson to start.
Phew! All those stairs weren't such fun to climb and niether was the ladder, but it was the only way to get to where Nessie needed to which was of course divinination. It had been a while since Nessie had been up in this tower, which was because for the past two years they had used a classroom downstairs. Now they were up here again, which suited her just fine, besides for all the stairs of course.
Once again there was another new teacher and as Ness walked past the new professor's desk and gave a small smile. "Good Morning, Professor." she continued walking but stopped midway to a seat.
What was that?
Her attention then turned to a bright colored thing sitting on what loooked like a perch in the corner of the classroom. It looked like..Ness walked a little closer, it looked like a..a parrot! So this Professor had a parrot? Why a parrot of all things? Who knew? Nessie certainly didn't. Maybe the professor's parrot could do magic or something, you never knew when it came to Hogwarts professors and all their weird things. Before she would go any nearer to the parrot, she noticed there was a big sign saying. 'Do NOT feed for fear of losing a finger!'.
Now that was creepy!
The badger backed away immediately and took a seat at an empty table.

Mentally thanking Merlin for her sports trainning that had let her come this far without breaking too much of a sweat, Emmanuelle climbed her way up the ladder to the Divination classroom. When she reached the top, she saw that the professor was here already. "Hello, professor! she greeted, only slightly out of breath. She chose a seat towards the back of the room, on the highest part of the risers. Wasn't like she'd have trouble hearing. The sound of the professor's voice would travel up the risers. Emmanuelle looked around and spotted the parrot on it's perch. Wow, okay. So that was definitely different.

OOOOOH gosh. Longest walk to class ever. The room was very nice though, even if a bit stuffy, which did not help Ellowyn's huffing and puffing breath and the red in her face. But she made it here in good time! "Hello Professor!" She smiled, and raised her eyebrows at the beautiful parrot perched next to her, before looking for a seat.

Jade Skidmoore followed the line of students up the stairs and then...there was a ladder? Oh right, the trap door; she had forgotten. No wonder she was always so exhausted everytime she came to Divination class. She walked up the ladder, through the trap door, and fixed her clothes once she was standing up properly. She was about to say hello to the new professor when she noticed the parrot beside her. She couldn't help but giggle to herself at the sign of not to feed the parrot. Of course no one would want their finger to be eaten off, but who knew, some people at Hogwarts would do such a thing. Silly people, these days. "Hello Professor, I'm Jade Skidmoore." She smiled. "I love your parrot, what's it's name?"
Divination. As Selina made her way up the endless stairs to the Divination Tower she dreaded finally making it up to the classroom. Generally, Selina was fascinated in the art of Divination, which was for personal reasons that she did not like to think about, but the past few years the Professor who had been manning the class was not Selina's favorite teacher. He made Divination something as simple as books and tea leaves. To the average student in the subject, this knowledge was great, but Selina wanted to know more. More than just the basic knowledge and he was not an open Professor in teaching new things. So spending more time in his classroom this term was not what Selina was exactly looking forward to.
As she walked into the classroom she was surprised to see that the tower once again looked like the Divination Tower. There was a personal touch to the room, as if someone had put the time into what was in the room. It brought a small smile to Selina's face as she surveyed the room. What had happened in here?
Then, sitting at a desk at the front of the room, was a blonde woman was not the horse. The redhead approached the woman with a shocked smile on her face, "Hello there Professor. I'm Selina Skylar." She stood there for a moment awkwardly not knowing what to say and then nodded and headed toward her seat.
Selena skipped up to the Divination tower. It was really... really... far from the Slytherin Common Room. And the Great Hall. She stuffed the remnants of her chocolate frog into her mouth before entering the classroom. Surely she wasn't late right? If so, she had a proper excuse - the stairs. And that ladder. It wasn't very safe, was it?
"Helloooo professor!" Selena chirped after swallowing her chocolate and looked around. The one thing she immediately noticed was the parrot. Then the incense and the curtains closed. Cool, maybe they'd be learning like... voodoo stuff. She read the sign the parrot had and smirked, wiggling her fingers at it. "Hellooo Mister Parrot," Selena added before taking a seat.

Daichi had been surprised when he had read that the Divination lesson was held in the tower again. Did that mean that the centaur man thing...wasn't here anymore? Because he could not climb the stairs with his hooves. Or maybe the half horse half man had found a solution to that problem?
With a curious expression on his features, Daichi walked up the ladder and he wasn't even panting from the long walk up stairs. He was far to curious that he had not even noticed he was there already!
Looking around the seemingly normal class room, the Slytherin saw not the centaur but a real person. Taking a few steps through the tower he stood before the Professor and smiled brightly, his eyes were twinkling behind his glasses. "Hello Professor~! welcome to Hogwarts" because she was knew and all right? Daichi bowed his head and it was then that he saw a bird in the corner of his eyes. "Hiii!" he waved to the parrot after seeing the warning sign and found a seat to sit.

"Birdie!" she squealed. She headed over to it. And tilted her head to the side. Then to the other side. Then repeated this a few more times. It was her FAVORITE game to play with birds. Usually she was the only one playing though. Apparently birds didn't like to tilt their heads as much as Anya liked them to.
And after playing with the bird, Anya found a seat by the window.

Sierra stepped into the Divination classroom with a not-so-happy expression on her face. She hated Divination, but she tolerated it so she could stay on top of the game. Plus, her mother said the more well-rounded she was, the better she would appear to the public. She was the Minister of Magic's daughter, after all.
Passing by the professor's desk, she happened to catch the nervous expression on the woman's face. She smirked in amusement. What a pushover. She just bet the woman was a Hufflepuff back in her day. She looked away long enough to find a seat then slide into it. Now, time to sit and wait for things to begin.
Kennedy made his way to Divination class with a lack of enthusiasm. Sure, he originally wasn't a fan of the subject, but for a certain reason he was dreading it. He stopped in front of the door to try to catch his breath, although it wasn't because of lack of oxygen. After a while of berating himself, Kennedy shook his head and entered the classroom.
He had not payed attention to the new staff at the Feast, so when he found a woman sitting at the professor's desk he released a breath of relief. He didn't think he'd make it through the lesson if their professor was the centaur. Kennedy didn't have anything against them, but...it was something new that had hit him out of nowhere and he could't face it. It really confused the boy.
So, with a more calm demeanor Kennedy made his way to one of the front desks, but before he sat down he greeted the new professor. "Good day, Professor," he said, politely with a grin to it. Then he sat down, taking out a quill and parchment.
