It was a bit of a trek from the Divination tower to the Grounds but it had been a pleasant one. Penny couldn't help swaying her hips just to listen to the jangling of the jewelery. It was one of the strangest outfits she had ever worn but it was kinda fun. Smiling she sauntered over to the Professor who was arrayed in her own eccentric outfit.

She could only imagine how all of them looked right now and giggled at the sight they all made together. She wasn't used to wearing skirts let alone anything that was this colorful and bright. Awe well, she would enjoy this while it lasted.

Still grinning she walked up to the small group assembled and waited for the Professor to continue the lesson.

Tay finally reached the ground, feeling like a fool in the costume. Taylor didnt care for needing to go from the lake to the tower then back down to the ground since she actually liked the exercise that they got from it. Taylor went to the group and waited for the Professor to continue talking.

This wasnt exactly what he was expecting when he came in for Divination class this morning....

Looking a bit like a street rat, Vickers crossed the castle grounds and made his way towards where Professor Elwood was waiting for them. To say that he felt silly was an understatement. Flamboyance was never his thing after all, even if what he wore was relatively bland compared to what the rest of the class was wearing.

He paused beside the Professor who now looked like she could hold a retro garage sale all by what she's wearing. Good thing she wasnt bad to look at ahem.

"Professor, what are we going to do?"

Kaiden made his way all the way down to the grounds. He felt silly, with his hat, bright clothes, and jewelry. It was quite the trek, and he was just glad it was all down hill this time. Seeing the class standing there, he would have almost believed them to be clowns, or carnival workers or something. Getting to the back of the line, he waited for what ever was next.

Hmm? He looked up at the girl, not recognising the face. He was sure he would have remembered hair like that. He shook his head, his hands hurriedly rushing to either side of his turban to steady it as his did so. "As much as I'd like it to stay now," he said, carefully letting go once more, and brushing some more curls from his eyes, "I'd also like to be able to remove it again later." And he certainly didn't trust his spell work to allow for those circumstances. Ellie hadn't yet covered sticking charms with him, and he didn't want to the only time he managed a permament sticking charm to be the time he was trying to keep a turban less than permanently on his head. He gave the girl a crooked smile. "So, balancing act it is."

Which at least could distract him from his other ridiculous clothes, and his lack of Seeing skills which were bound to be required soon-ish.

He glanced up at his turban almost warningly, before returning his gaze to the girl. "I'm not sure we've met," he said, tilting his head slightly backwards to try and prevent the now almost inevitable turban-over-eyes scenario. "Spike Hutchinson, Ravenclaw." With that, he slowly outstretched his hand to be polite.

Turban, stay.

Selena nearly tripped over the skirt on her way out to the grounds. One had to realize how hard it was to climb down a ladder in a dress with bangles sliding down your arm and a turban ready to fall off your head. It was much easier balancing Kent on her head. Selena made her way down the stairs and looked around at everyone else who were dressed similarly in their get ups. Yeah, they were all just cool kids that people were jealous of. She wondered if another professor would come by and join them in their weird outfits.

Selena liked being outside though, even if the skirt she wore threatened to trip her several times.

Jade Skidmoore followed Professor Elwood from the Divination tower to the grounds. She lifted her flowy skirt in case of grass stains and scowled at it for she didn't want to get dirty. This was the last thing she hoped to do and she hoped Nikolas wouldn't see her out here. Hopefully. She fixed her purple beaded shirt, getting out the folds in it. Then there was the matter of the jewelry, she had never worn so much and she felt as if ten pounds were weighing on her neck at that point. Meh.

Clutching her ear lobes, hoping they wouldnt give in to the weight of her gigantic ear rings. It is sais when people dress up they dress up as what they want to be - not in this case. This was for school, otherwise she would be dressing up as a Princess, fairy or queen! A magneta bandana enclosed her head. Despite her various attempts the bangles kept sliding off, she even pushed them way p her arm, yet they still slid down. Her outfit made her feel rather lower class, scum of the earth. She was the more conservative dresser, the elegant, classy one, not the bohemian, Gypsy, hunky dory kind.

Addie walked down to the grounds where the rest of her Divination class would be held. She was so excited to find out what they would be doing. After all, the class had put on crazy outfits and transformed themselves into fortune tellers already. She carefully maneuvered the grounds trying not to trip over her long flowery skirt. That was the downside of being short, the skirt had already been rolled up a bunch of times so that it would fit her.

Clink. Clink. Clink. Addie loved the sound of her bracelets clinking together. It was so much fun being a fortune teller!

Silvia made her way to the grounds, following the group of colorfully clothed students in front of her and careful not to step on the bottom of her pants, which were already coming unrolled on one side. When she had caught up with the professor and the rest of the students, she reached down to fix it, and then casted the gripping charm she learned last year on the rolled up parts, in hopes that they would better stay in place. Silvia looked back up and around at her classmates. They must have made an interesting sight for anyone who didn't know what they were doing; though, she still didn't know exactly what they were doing either.

Ariana had to bite her lip to keep from laughing when she saw Professor Elwood and the group of students dressed up like that. Actually, she wasn't very successful, but she covered her mouth and tried to make as little noise as possible while she giggled at how silly everyone looked. Including her, of course. Mustn't forget that.

She joined the throng, standing on her toes to see over the heads of some of the taller students in front of her. Ariana noticed that her bell-covered skirt and shirt jingled nicely when she moved, and she amused herself for a few minutes swaying back and forth, listening for the ringing over the light chatter as students trickled into the area.

Pyrsephonie danced her way down to the grounds. She swayed her hips and flipped her hair, not caring if others stared. She was having too much fun! She spun and twirled. "I understand why some Seers choose to dress like this," she said to the Professor. "This is so much fun!" She smiled as she continued her dance. She quickly made up a tune in her head to go with her dance and hummed it out loud.

Seriously, the boy was having issues with the turban already, and the thing was squishing his pretty curls too. What a shame. Oh, but a simple 'Finite' would do the trick. Maybe he just didn't want to try it, it was okay, she didn't mind. It was his hair and his turban, anyway.

Nodding along as he spoke, Kate finally spoke, "Balancing it is, then," something amusing to watch too if the class didn't hold her attention for too long.

It seemed like such a hassle, the turban. But she was still smiling. And she tried to do the polite thing not to stare at his hands, "I hope you don't get tired," didn't the Professor mentioned the word 'comfortable'? Her mind registered it, so she must have.

Ooooh, meetings! "We haven't," she has good memory. And she was new, so...., "Nice to meet you, Spike. I'm Kate Osmium, Hufflepuff," she said, with a wide smile. Funny how this was the first time she's introduced herself as a Hufflepuff.

She looked WEIRD. Her clothes looked way to baggy and she didn't look good enough? Yes that was right. She wasn't a fortune teller so why did they have to wear weird costumes? But this lesson was still fun but still weird.

She waited for the professor to say something so they could do something besides dressing up.

Charlit's bracelets jingeled together as she walked out onto the grounds with the class, she loved the glittery sound they made. The clothing smelled like insence, which would probably be what an actual fortune teller's clothes would smell like. She wondered what the other kids in Hogwarts would think if they gazed out their windows to see a troup of fortune tellers walking across the grounds. Now all she needed was a crystal ball!!

Eck.

Ronnie hated the fact that she had to walk all this way through the grounds...looking like this. Big shirt....too much jewerly...and the...flowy skirt. Well, the flowy skirt was actually pretty nice. She just didn't like everything else. Ronnie shuddered. Ronnie was never a big fan of dress up, especially dressing up like fortune tellers. Nah. She either wore her school robes or her Muggle band t-shirts, jeans, and converse. Nothing else.

Ronnie lined up with the others around the professor, waiting for further instruction. She kept glancing at her watch -which was entangled in all her braclets- to see how much longer she had to be in these clothes. Why was time going so slow? She was beginning to become a little bit impatient.

Kennedy carefully walked behind a group giggly people. They seemed happy to be all dressed up. All the while the boy was waddling down the grounds trying not to trip over the poofy pants. He was also trying to keep his turban to stay on his head, but his curly hair was being a problem.

He needed a haircut, again.

The prefect stopped and waited for further instructions, but that movement caused the turban to tip forward and land over his eyes.

Minervafelt like she was dancing down to the grounds. The wind was blowing just enough to blow her flowing skirt around. Her head piece was flowing in the same direction. She felt like she was in a talent show more then a class. She got down with the rest of the group and went over near Damon. She had the biggest smile on her face and was very comfortable just as she said was a good idea to the professor. She waited patiently for the next instructions.

By the time she made it down to the grounds, Sierra was in the worst of moods. Not only was this Divination, she was also dressed in a ridiculous outfit and had just walked what felt like a hundred miles. Her turban was too hot, the beads on her shirt kept getting tangled, her skirt was way too long, and her jewelry kept clanging together. She tugged at her skirt a little then joined the line of students waiting for the next set of instructions.

AHHHH!!!

This lesson was already SO cool.

Decked out in the craziest clothes he could find, Paulie hurried ALLLLLLL the way down to the grounds. From behind his 'X-Ray' glasses, he peered around at his classmates with a wide grin. It was only Pirate Elwood's first class, and already he liked her. And her style.

He smirked when he spotted a few familiar faces, dressed quite unusually, and he simply waited as patiently as he could for class to continue.

Jezzabelle walked out following everyone else. She felt all free spirited and relaxed. She especially liked her headband and the necklace. If anything the only thing she didn't like was the shirt but it's be fine because she was comfortable. Huddling with everyone else she waited to see what would happen next.

Stumbling as she walked, and maybe tripping over her own feet a few times, Kurumi eventually found herself standing next to...Paulie? It was sort of hard to tell who was who with all the fabric and shinny people were wearing.

Blowing a few of the feathers that she had stuck in her hair out of her face, Kurumi looked forward and wondered if the professor's neck was alright....those necklaces looked REALLY heavy...

Professor Elwood was on cload nine at the moment. The woman's smile grew larger and larger as she watched the students parade after her and then come a stop in the group infront of her. Their clothing looked utterly fabulous and they seemed to be enjoying themselves, at least it appeared so.

Good enough for Callie.

The Divination Professor put to fingers to her lips and let escape a loud whistle to get each of the tiny fortune tellers' attention. "Listen up everyone!" She yelled, beckoning them to squish in to hear the assignment. "Welcome to the world's largest Fortune Teller convention," Wait, why was the Odessa girl dressed up like a dementor? "juuust kidding you guys. You all look so great in your costumes and I hope you are ready for what we are about to do."

The woman was certainly excited and it showed as she flicked her wand again, this time causing a fortune teller's cart to appear, the one that was housed in her office. "This is a fortune teller's cart with the word's 'The Magnificiant Harmony Peacekeeper' written on it's side in faded gold letters. "Does eveyone know what this is? If you don't it is a fortune teller's wagon and this one belonged to a pretty good one at that, The Magnificiant Harmony Peacekeeper." And she had heard that she was quite pretty too....

Calista looked at the students as they took in the site of the wagon. "You may be wondering what I am going to have you do that requires us to be on the Grounds? Well that will be answered with this." The Professor dramatically pointed at a large pile of wood, wheels, and long handles laying in the grass not too far from them--how could they have missed it? Surely they didn't think the Groundskeeper was building something new.

"You will be building your own Fortune Teller's wagon and then racing them against your peers. Fortune tellers are always in competition with others to get the customers." She winked slyly. "Now I want you all to team up, in groups no larger than 4 but you must have at least two to a group." She walked through the crowd of students until she was about 30 yards away.

"You will have to build your wagon using the sticking and unsticking charms, adhaero and avexis respectively." She pulled out her wand and spoke the incantations out so they knew how to perform them themselves. "Ahd-high-row, to stick things and A-Wek-sis to unstick them!"

"Now go ahead and team up, I want there to be as much younger and older student mixtures as possible so that the older ones can help the younger with the spells. And finally, the members of the first two teams to cross the finish line, where I am standing, will recieve each recieve 5 extra house points!"

She stood at her position away from them, the finish line, and shot sparks into the air. "GO!!"

OCC: Alright kiddies here's the rules:
1.) 2-4 people per group.
2.) Try to mix older and younger students together.
3.) Your wagon must consist of a floor, 4 wheels, at least 2 walls and a puller/handle.
4.) In order to win you must pull the cart all the way to the finish line. It doesn't matter which member of the team that posts doing this it counts.
5.) One member MUST be INSIDE the wagon while it is being pulled.
6.) This needs to be done in at least FIVE posts each to get credit. (Label them please)
7.) I know this is a race but please be realistic, and also 1 liners will not count towards a post.

So what to do: You have to post at least 5 times each building the thing and then at least one of you gets in, the other pulls, and then cross the line where Callie is. (Crossing the finish line doesn't count as one of the five)

Mika glanced around for any of her friends when she made her way down to the grounds. Honestly she felt like walking in a school of awkwardly dressed fraudulent seers would make her look less like a total lunatic. She glanced over at Kaiden through the wisps of hair that kept blowing into her face and just chuckled.

Hello young seer she felt like calling over but didn't. She herself looked just as batty as the American boy. Mika just looked at the Professor with awe as she realized how heavy those necklaces must have been. She was wearing what 500 pounds of them it seemed? Well...what with all the shawls that is.

THIS was going to be interesting what were they going to prove? How hard it was to move in these silly skirts? Because she hated it. She hated skirts. TEAMS? Who wanted to team up?

Selena rocked back and forth in her shoes as she listened to the professor speak. The Slytherin looked at the cart in awe. It was pretty, and shiny, and she wondered if she could sit on it. It seemed like something one would want to sit on, right? Well, not really, but either way, it seemed like it'd be fun to just stand near it. She listened intently to the professor's instructions, nodding her head every once in a while before pulling out her wand.

They were going to be building a wagon, and racing. It sounded like the boat thing from her First Year. That had been fun. Given, she wasn't exactly good at it, but it was fun and that was what counted right?

The second after Selena heard the go from the Professor, the Head Girl shouted out loud, "Who wants to be on team Awesometastical?!"
