"Awesome." Cass said with a grin as she appraised the seemingly well built cart.

The girl then lifted her wand to make sure that all of them were stuck together, but stopped mid-wave when the wooden thing gave some sort of a shudder then promptly crashed back into the ground.

At the sight of all their hard work wasted, Cass' hazel eyes widened considerably as she blinked. They were going to have to start all over again.

"We should probably start on the wheels first." Cass told Messer and Zack as she took a seat on the grass beside what was left of their cart and reached out for an axel and two wheels. She then inserted the stick into the holes of both of the wheels before pointing her wand at the left side of the wheel and summoned all of her focus and said "Adhaero." Sticking the wheel and the stick together. She then pointed towards the right side and cast the same spell.

Afterwards, she pointed her wand at the newly built wheels and said "Wingardium Leviosa" causing it to hover into the air, bobbing up and down quickly, matching the movements of her wand. Finally seeing that it wasn't about to fall apart now, she set the thing back on the ground and turned to Messer "Mind doing the other set of wheels?" She asked with a smile.

Ira grinned wide, excited on seeing how their cart was shaping up. It did look good! Actually a lot better than Ira had imagined it to be.

Ira nodded at Nora, "Sounds good!" Ira replied, "Um.. you levitate the whole thing, and I'll stick the wheels, okay?" Because it did seem pretty heavy to lift. So better to have the fourth year do it.

So keeping her wand ready, Ira waited for Nora to lift the whole or yet half done cart...

Their cart falling apart?!! NOOOOO..!! It can't be happening!

They're running out of time. Now they need to start from the beggining again. Better get going Messer. He told himself. Since he couldn't grabbed two wheels at once, Messer went to grab one of the wheels from where it fall and dragged it to where their falling cart were. The Hufflepuff stick one of the wheels to the to-be floor plank. He took out his wand "Adhero!" He checked the wheel to make sure that its already stuck but its still a bit loose. "Adhero!" he said it once again with more clearer voice. "Good its stick." he mumbled.. Now he need to do the forth wheels.

Pyrsephonie looked at Nigel. He was saying that he should be in the cart. Isaac didn't seemto have a problem with it. Pyrsephonie nodded and smiled. "Sounds good."

Pyrsephonie smiled wide when Isaac put together the last part of the wagon. “Complete!” She said happily. Now the next task was to race it against the others.

"Yes, only the handle now." With her wand she levitated it and placed it on the wood plank before waving the wand and, "Adhero," she attached it to the wagon and started circling their work. Her hand, the one with the wand, was tapping her chin with it. "Hmm. It's... simple... I'd rather have it decorated and all but this should do the race alright." She looked up at her partner Zing and rephrased her sentence, "Look bad. Race fine." Louisa was actually starting to like this boy.. and his simple sentences. Heh.

Glancing around, she noticed the chaos of that other cart... the professor in the weird outfit was racing toward them followed by Sierra. Heh. Funny. "Let's try our best not to end up like those, okay?" Up on a tree and being chased by a fake fortune teller. Now, back to the issue at hand. With her wand, Louisa carved their initials on the wagon's wall 'L & Z', trying her best to make them look nice enough. "There... Louisa.. Zing.." she pointed at the letters respectively for the boy to know why she'd just written this.

"Okay, Now let's attach two wooden bars to the open front so that whoever pull the other with them." She used her wand again, not wanting to add more dirt on her hands or overall outfit, to get the two wooden bars and placed one third of each end of them on the open front of the wagon. "Adhero," she pointed at each one of them and did the spell twice. Moving over to check if they were as strong and steady as possible, Louisa then wiped her forehead more in a dramatic gesture and looked over at Zing. "Who gets to ride?" Naturally, she should but Zing wasn't really a big kind of guy. He was probably even younger than Louisa so she was okay with pulling him on the wagon... maybe... sort of.

Levitate the whole thing. Right. She could do it.

Pointing her want at the... whatever that could be called (well, there was only the floor and the two walls, after all), and took a few moments to concentrate because it looked like they weren't in a hurry anymore, since other teams have already won. "Wingardium leviosa," Nora said as she swished and flicked her wand just like many other times. The only difference was that she'd never lifted something that big, but... there! It slowly started to hover above the ground!

"Ready when you are," she smirked at Ira, but only for a moment, concentrating back so the thing wouldn't fall, which meant starting all over.

Pyrsephonie stood on the sidelines as Nigel got into the cart and Isaac pushed. She figured she wouldn’t be too helpful with the pushing, so she decided to cheer them on. She was good at that. “WOOOOH!!!! You guys can do it! Go, go, go!” She was smiling and jumping up and down as she cheered.

Ira watched, a bit amazed how nicely Nora was levitating the whole thing. It sure was heavy, and so it must have required greater focus, right? Smiling at Nora, Ira picked up the wheels. She should stick them quickly.

"Adhero!" she pointed at the wheels. She watched as the wheels stuck to the base. Moving over to check if they were as strong and steady as possible, she pulled against the wheel. Yipee! They appeared to be stuck correctly.

"The wheels are stuck Nora!" Ira said, "You can place the cart down now!" Yup, now the thing looked like a cart!

As she was still focusing on keeping the cart-to-be in the air, Nora also threw a look at what Ira was working on, adding the wheels, that is, and couldn't help but grin at the younger girl. When she checked to see if her spell worked or not, Nora was glad to finally let go of the cart. She didn't just let it fall, of course; she slowly moved her wand towards the ground, until the thing that looked more like a cart now was safe.

"Now we only need something..." she carefully scanned the pile of cart parts until she eventually spotted what she was looking for. "Accio handle," she mumbled under her breath, catching it as it made its way towards her. "Adhero," she added, attaching it to they cart. "Looks pretty good, don't you think?" The girl grinned widely at Ira, taking a few steps closer, trying to push it a little to see if the wheels worked properly.

... apparently they did, as the cart started moving, but Nora caught it just in time, so they wouldn't have to run after it. THAT would have been humiliating. "Now... I guess one of us has to pull the other one towards the line?" Whatever Nora had to do, it was fine with her.

Still looking at the crash, Kaiden heard the older boy reassuring them that everything would be fine. Really? because the teachers at his old school couldn't handle a paper cut, or a box as mad frogs. of course, the first year would be completely useless at helping here. Even if he climbed up the tree, he couldn't really help. Or, running to the castle to help? who would he have asked , and how would he have gotten there with out getting lost? But, no matter, even the professor turned down their help.

Watching as the professor dealt with the other team, even after Beezus decided that it would be ok to continue. His eyes widened as first the girl jumped out of the tree. That was not good. And then, his eyes nearly bugged out of his head as they slowed and stopped.

Turning back to the others, he noticed that the cart looked finished. "So, is it time to race?" he asked the other two. "And, whos riding in it?" he looked between the other two. obviously, Paulie wouldn't ride. They would never get across the finish line if they were pulling him.

Pyrsephonie cheered as Nigel and Isaac crossed the finish line. She smiled symathetically as she ran over to help them up. "That was great, guys!" She said happily.

Something? Huh? Oh yes! A handle! The handle did look nice and added a nice touch to the whole cart thing.

But the cart looked plain. Very plain. She really needed to add some color in it. But how? And which colors? Silver & Gold? That would look nice, right? Wanting to give Nora a surprise, ira softly muttered the Phosfornus charm and flicked her wand towards the cat. And lo! It was now a glowing cart! Of silver & Gold! It looked beautiful!

"Surprise!" she exclaimed to Nora. But wait, Nora would like it, right? Ira hoped so.. "You like it??" Ira asked a bit hesitantly.

And now for the final part.. Pushing the cart. Like actually pushing the cart to the finish line. So who would sit inside and who would push it?

Of course, Ira wanted to sit in it.. after all, who would like to push a cart having a person inside? But still, it would be good if Nora was the one to sit and Ira would push it. Yup! That would be totally fine too!

"Any way you want Nora!" Ira finally said. Yep, anything would be fine really.

Having her wand in the air helping the Slytherin Prefect set the two girls down on the grass safely should have calmed the woman down yet the Divination Professor was shaking.

Calista couldn't remember being this mad in a while, besides the time she was shouting at Indigo Bunbury over the summer.

She walked towards the Slytherin Captain and the small injured Ravenclaw girl her face turning a light shade of red. "Miss Fanster, where in my instructions to you did you hear me say 'Jump out the bloody window'? Huh?! You not only put yourself in serious danger but you dragged this girl with you too!" She shrieked as she pointed at Indiana who was still half clinging to Kimalia.

"That was extremely irresponsible and you are lucky I am not taking points." Professor Elwood went on as she continued to shake and rubbed her temple--she had just about had a break down right then and there after this whole fiasco. "I am just happy you are ok." She said much calmer this time, she wasn't entirely angry with the girl. "Now please work with the two boys from your team and easily levitate your wagon from the tree from a SAFE distance."

She then slowly removed Indiana's grip from the Slytherin's shoulders and layed her on the grass, shushing her as she tried to feebly speak. "Hush, sweetie we are going to take you to the Hospital Wing. You probably hit your head during the crash." She called over her shoulder to the Slytherin Prefect again.

"Miss Greingoth please take Indiana to the Healer, thanks for your help today, you will be awarded 5 house points for your quick response and effort." Now that that was out of the way she could return to the rest of the students.

The Divination Professor slowly walked to where she had thrown her turban on the ground, picked it back up and placed on her head. After regaining her composure, Callie walked back to where the stick was marking the finish line and stood by it, awaiting the other groups.

While falling, Kimalia began to feel her insides rise up, but soon after she felt the floating sensation. It was quite relaxing sensation, but she didn't open her eyes until she felt the ground. Phew! Now she knelt down to check on Indy.

Merlin, she really was sleeping. Hmm, but something didn't sound quite right. "Welcome back Indy." Kimalia didn't let her go though, since she probably would've collapsed on said ground to sleep. Her eyes went to Vickers and Dylan who were laughing.

Blink, blink. She was so confused, were they laughing at the outcome of the cart, or was there a joke she was missing?"I'm alright here, Indy doesn't look like she's in bad shape, just very sleepy." Looking over her shoulder to hear her snoozing again. Maybe the Professor had something for her, but she did want to thank her and Sierra first off beforehand..

Kimalia gave a small smile for her, just to let her know that she was okay and she opened her mouth to thank her, but she closed it seeing how red she was. Oh goodness..

Jump out the window, well didn't she say that? Kimalia had her eyes look up near her eyebrows in thought.. Huh, she did only say to go to the window, but young Kimalia figured she might as well jump start the task. They were still safe after all.

Hmm.. When she put it that way, having Indy jump out with her was a little reckless.. But, she did play Quidditch after all, being reckless was in her blood. Though, she wasn't going to say that! She was already lucky to not get points taken away. "I'm.. sorry.." No smiles there, she was serious. "You're right, and thanks Professor and Sierra" Yes, she looked right at Sierra when she said her name. "for bringing us down safely."

Since Indy was already wrapped around Kimalia, she figured she might as well take her to the Hospital wing.. but she was given a new task. Helping the boys on her team to bring the cart down on their own.. Fair enough, she did like it after all. "Alright." Kimalia nodded while allowing Indy to be removed gently. She miraculously kept a straight face after hearing Sierra earn her house some points, though having been yelled at did help. Waiting until Sierra took Indy away along with the Professor, she waved them off. She wanted to visit Indy later on and check on her. But, now they had a new task, so Kimalia turned her back to face her remaining team.

"Erm.. did you guys happen to find my wand yet?" Kimalia asked. It was still lying in the grass somewhere. She really needed it to save the cart.

Nigel saw the accident and went to see what it was all about. While walking to see he spotted a wand in the grass. Thank goods it was not broken, Nigel did not want to give bad news to an older student. He picked it up and went to watch. When the older slytherin suddenly asked for a missing wand he knew right away it was hers. He walked over to her and said "Um here is your wand i found it walking over here" He hands the wand over to her.

Hm? Whose voice was that? Kimalia looked around before seeing a younger Ravenclaw boy approach her with, not a wand. Her wand. "Oh," Kimalia happily took it. "Thanks!" She could now get to saving her cart, but first. "Your name? I'm Kimalia." What? Wasn't it polite to include the person's name you're thanking? At least, that's what her mummy said.

She then turned to her team again, ready when they were to start levitating the cart down.

Nigel gave her the wand and heard her ask his name. Oh he forgot to say his name to her. He was so nervous to give her the wand he forgot to say his own name. "Oh sorry my name is Nigel nice to meet you". Nigel said and was happy that her wand was broken because his sister had a broken wand and was miserable til she got a new one.

After the whole levitation back to the ground, things starting happening quickly. Or, maybe it wasn't that it wasn't happening quickly, but that Sierra had only been here for the last minute or so. She still wasn't really sure about what happened. All she knew was that there was a crash, and some people ended up in a tree. Really? How did that happen?

At least Kimalia was thanking her, which is more than she could say for the two Ravenclaws. Well, Indiana wasn't exactly in the best position to start thanking people, so she'd let it slide. "You're welcome," she said to her captain. Now she expected a starting position on the house team.

Again.

What? You didn't think she did this solely out of the goodness of her heart, did you?

...oh, five house points!

"Thanks, Professor," she said with a grin. Ellwood was now officially on her good side, and that went a long way as far as Sierra was concerned. Take the girl to the Hospital Wing? "Mmkay, sure. I'm right on it." Turning to Indiana, she tried to figure out the best way to get the girl to the Hospital Wing. Could she even walk now?

OOC: Rachie, please PM me and tell me how you want Indiana to be moved. Can she walk? Does she need to be levitated?

Paulie nodded to the professor. "Will do," he affirmed. Hopefully the cart crashes were done for the day.

Paulietootykins?! Bahahah. The Gryffindor gave a curt laugh and trotted back over to his group. "Forgive the interruption, teammates." But, aha! Now that Beezus had secured the final wheel, they were set to get this cart on track and pass that finish line. He clapped his hands together and looked between Kaiden and Beezus. "Yes, who's up for riding in the cart? Kaiden, I believe we should ask Beezus first, to uphold our chivalry, eh?" He smiled at the Hufflepuff, then looked to the girl before them. "What do ya say?"

Either way, Paulie decided that he would push the cart from behind, and whoever else was moving the cart would pull it by the front handle. Hence, he walked around and stood behind the cart, ready to go.

Who was going to ride in the cart?

PFFFFT. That was such an obvious question. Beezus giggled a bit at Kaiden, tilting her head to the side with a mischievous grin, completely forgetting the incident she had witnessed.

Then she turned to Paulie who was asking for their suggestion, still grinning... "Of course Paulietootykins! I'm gonna ride the cart," HEHE. Then she scampered over to climb on the wagon without a single decoration that they have made. She was going to be sitting like a princess while her other two team mates would pull till they reach the finish line.

Settling herself on the center of the wagon, she then pulled a dramatic face and said, "Go my slaves! Let us begin our journey!" And of course, her arms was flailing around like an awesome person. xD

Oh the Slytherin Prefect will take care of the his fellow Claw?

Suddenly Vickers felt like chopped liver. He was a Claw, and a team mate, he could've easily brought little Indy up to the Hospital wing since he also felt responsible about what happened to her. And he had his own aches to attend to from when he fell. Speaking of the fallen, he turned to Dylan and murmured "Are you ok? Do need to go to the hospital wing too? I'll be dropping by there after class." because he just knows he'll be aching badly later if he doesnt get anything for it soon.

But now the Professor mentioned about moving their cart away from the tree. The Ravenclaw approached the cart and gave the handle a few strong tugs, then circled it and observed. It didnt look like it was going to fall apart-- they built it quickly but they built it well-- and really he didnt see why they couldnt just pull it back to where the rest of the carts were.

But instructions were instructions. He gave Kimalia and Dylan a look then angled his head back towards where the rest of the carts were "Lets walk back there and levitate it towards us from there?" that seemed safe enough distance yeah?

So, they weren't gonna pull Paulie, and apparently, he had the idea that they should pull Beezus. And, so did she. Right, that was settled. He just couldn't believe how eager she was to ride. "Paulie, what are you doing back there?" he asked when he notice the older boy at the back of the cart. "Would you like one of us to feet you grape too?" he asked the all to excited girl.

Well, that was settled easily enough! Paulie nodded as Beezus climbed up into the wagon. He called over to Kaiden, who was at the front end of the cart. "I'm gonna push the wagon from behind, and you can pull with the handle, 'kay?" That way Paulie wouldn't be tripping over poor Kaiden.

Slaves?! Hah! Paulie grinned and started shoving the wagon forward. "As you wish, Empress Beezy Weezy!" When he caught Kaiden's comment about feeding Beezus grapes, however, Paulie uttered such an unexpected laugh that he DID fumble in his footing slightly. "That was a good one, Kaiden." Heheheh. Now, heave ho!

He frowned. Why was she fiddling with jewellery? It was race! And though they weren't first, and the post had been moved...they had a good cart and shouldn't be faffing around with jewellery!

Oh, she was decorating it? Well that was kinda cool. And jangly. They now had a jingly-jangly kind of cart. His frown curled upwards in to a smile. "Nice finishing touch," he said with a nod. Yep, they were aaaaaall done.

In which case, they should get moving.

Spike stepped to the side, and graciously swept his arm over to Kate to use as a support. "Your carriage, I mean, cart, awaits, Miss Osmium." See, he could be all gentlemanly when he wanted to be.

"Feeling comfortable?" he asked, taking hold of the handle. "Let's go!"

Why, yes, Spike, of course the cart was feeling good. Did he not trust her? Unless he really wanted to check it all out by himself, she couldn't blame him for that. And if he was making sure that nothing would happen to her, then he could check out the cart all he wanted because that was definitely and truly...adorable.

Kate couldn't help but smile again at his mention of good vibes. Considering a couple groups had already meet the finish line then he could only mean that their cart felt like a good one. Again, YES, they built a very good one, indeed.

"Thanks!" she said, when he commented on the little finishing touches. Kate was glad to have a few necklaces off her neck truth be told.

OMG! That was cute! Heh. Her carriage. She winked at him before getting on the cart, "Thanks, Mr. Hutchinson." Fun stuff, this whole thing was.

For a moment there, she wasn't completely certain as to what his question actually meant. Was she feeling comfortable? Or was he asking himself if he was comfortable? Was he asking the handle? Or was he asking her if she was comfortable with him pulling the cart? Since they've settled a long time ago that he'll be doing the pulling, and he'd already pointed out where the handle felt comfortable...then the question was directed at her, "I am!" as comfortable as one might be in this situation.

AND OFF THEY WENT!

Bounces and sparkles. Between the cart she firmly had a grip on, and Spike's curls...they could certainly catch the attention as fortune-tellers. DEFINITELY! They should get extra points for it.

And this was fun. The wind on her face as Spike pulled the cart was good, too. Until it suddenly stopped, because they'd reached the finish line. And the Professor standing there too.

"We did it, Spike!" she beamed at him.

As Nora was still studying their work, she noticed Ira from the corner of her eye... but what was she doing? With her eyes still fixed on the cart, she saw as it turned slowly into silver and gold! And it was so PRETTY! Large grin back in place, Nora clapped and almost jumped up and down in excitement. "Ira! This is wonderful!" More clapping. She didn't even care how much her jaw hurt from all that grinning.

"Hop in, then," the girl smirked at her partner, ready to push the cart towards the line. She could do it. She knew it.
