Set up much like the previous lesson, the warm winter sunlight coming through the large windows brightly illuminated the arena, making the purple mats that were lined up perfectly in the middle of the area easy to see. The usual small trays stationed in front of each to make it easier for note taking were there as well. The only difference was the lack of dark curtains that would cover the windows, and the braziers were gone due to the fact that they didn't need them. The weather was warming up on it's own.
A variety of metal creatures were placed around the room; a few familiar examples being the nundu, dementor, and the snake. Some hovered off the ground, slowly twirling as if there was a draft, while others seemed to follow you around with their eyes. They've been enchanted to move on purpose, and while they aren't particularly dangerous or possess qualities that the real deal may have, handling them roughly could make your interactions with them may lead to a rather unsteady path. Yes, that is hissing you hear from the snake, and perhaps a growl or two with a few other interesting noises from the creatures that would come up every now and then, but honestly, they don't bite. Or do they? These creatures seem to have gained a more predator feel to them since the last they were seen.
The professor is currently sitting on her mat up at the front, wearing her interesting pair of goggles from the previous lesson while her metal spider ran around her in circles. Please come in and take a seat, or use the time before the lesson starts to look at the sculptures.
OOC: Forgive the late start. My computer is having major issues at the moment, so bare with me here lol.
Class has officially begun! Please, don't post your character arriving late, or beware the consequences.
Just jump in with the lesson as if they've been here the whole time.

Alissa walked into the DADA classroom and saw that the Professor still had out those strange dark creatures that they had been studying about the last two lessons. She saw Professor Romanos sitting her mat, now wearing her familiar goggles with the mechanical spider running circles around her.
Alyssa smiled and went up to greet her.
"Hello Professor. Are we going to expect another winning performance from you and the school staff again this lesson? Last lesson was definitely interesting."
Not wanting to bother the Professor too much, Alyssa then found an empty mat, sat on it before taking out her writing materials and placing them on the little tables provided. Then she took out her textbook and began to read while waiting for the rest of the students to arrive.
Janice stared at the metal snake, still on the classroom door. "It's just metal," she had to keep reminding herself. She is particularly afraid of snakes, and although she has never encountered one in real life, she still thinks that snake bites really hurt. And the hissing just made it worse for her.
After a few moments just looking at the snake, who apparently looked back in mischief, she took a deep breath and walked into the classroom, acting as if nothing had happened. She still would look at the snake, occasionaly, just to make sure that it hadn't left its place.
It was until then she noticed Professor with her goggles and the spider. Janice smiled. "Hello, Professor!" She greeted her politely. "May I touch your spider?" She said that last bit a little quiter, as she is still scared of most professors around here, despite the fact that she has been in Hogwarts for 4 years. But frankly, she isn't afraid of spiders and other insects of any sorts.

Cassia entered the classroom excitedly, Defense Against the Dark Arts is a subject she enjoys learning a lot. She feels it's daring and interesting. Her theory was proved right away when she saw the Professor wearing some goggles..she grinned at that and stepped closer ,"Good day Professor! Nice goggles!" the curious slytherin said as she took a general look around her.
She spotted a couple of creatures were placed all over the place. Was that dementor looking at her! She got closer to it and raised an eyebrow, "I don't think you're real." she whispered . She moved on to check another creature, one she didn't recognize. The first year squinted her eyes at it, "What are you?" She tried to search on her memory of information about such creature but none was found.
Putting her bag on a desk, She resumed her tour around the creatures. She couldn't help not to touch them, but will the professor mind? She didn't want to get kicked out of class without getting the chance of knowing what were they going to learn. She glanced at the corner of her eyes to see that she was visible to the Professor...So risk should not be taken, she confirmed to herself. Maybe when the Professor isn't looking she could try.

Jezzabelle walked into the classroom and found the light coming in from the windows to be a little bright. As usual she found the place covered in yoga mats and she gave a big sigh. "Hello Professor." Dropping her bag on on of the mats she moved closer to the metal dementor to have a good look at it. Chills ran up her spine and she moved away from it just as fast.
Back at her mat she felt as though she was being watched in when she looked up she found some eyes staring at her. It made her want to leave and never come back to this class. She finally sat down on her mat and took the lotus pose. If she meditated before class started she could probably shake the uneasy feelings in her. Uneasy feeling brought on by some serious creepy looking metal creatures. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath in and let it come slowly out.

DADA! Ella loved this class and so she entered the classroom with a smile, noting the familiar creepy metal creatures had returned for this lesson. And hey look! Professor Romanos was rocking her awesome goggles again. Tee-hee. The second year kinda wanted a pair too. "Hey Professor!" Ella greeted cheerfully on her way by the woman.
Dropping her stuff down where she planned to sit, the blonde then decided to take a walk around the room, eyeing some of the creatures she didn't get a chance to interact with last lesson.
This classroom looked the same since he was last here. Which was good for Nigel since he was not a big fan of change. He looks up at Professor Romanos and sees she still has her spider and her awesome goggles. Nigel wished he had some goggles like the Professors.
"Hello, Professor Romanos"
Nigel then took seat on a mat thinking about how much more research he needed to do for his final in this class

Ira walked in, feeling a bit lazy. But all her laziness instant disappeared seeing her DADA classroom, all bright and kinda interesting to look at with all the metal replicas hovering. Well, it did certainly look like fun. True that it was almost same as in previous lesson, it still made Ira smile.
And suddenly a big GROWL from besides her which nearly made her jump, at which she giggled at herself. These replicas were so funny!
She dropped her bag on one of the yoga mats, and greeted the professor, "Oh! Hello Professor Romanos!" And then looking around at the metal spider, which frankly, Ira found a little irritating, she said, "Er.. that spider sure seems a bit TOO active.." Meaning too much for Ira's liking. Whatever!

The Ravenclaw made his way down for his next class, turning into the DADA classroom and squinted a bit. No dark curtains this time around? Well he could certainly welcome a bit more warmth that comes with the sunshine. Although he'd like to have some chairs and tables too.
He eyed the metal sculptures and couldnt shake the feeling that they are staring right back with even more intensity than he remembered. Finally he turned to the woman with the awesome goggles and greeted her "Hello Professor Romanos". He then made his way towards his usual mat and after pausing for a moment, decided to just take a seat. Yes he did his stretches too this morning, so he's all nice and limbered up in case they were to do more yoga today.

Time for another DADA lesson. Hannah made her way into the classroom and looked around not seeing anybody that she wanted to talk to. Spotting the professor she gave her a quick hello. "Hello Professor."
She took in all of the metal creatures, her facial expression not giving anything away. She took a seat towards the front and waited for the lesson to begin!
Selina never knew what to expect when she entered Defense of Dark Arts classroom. Usually, it was some sort of random array of things with their eclectic professor in the midst of it all like a whirlwind. However, when she walked in that day she could not believe what she had seen. The room was darker than usual, but she was mostly shocked to see the figures in the corner.
Eyeing her surroundings she walked over to her professor and said, "Good day ma'am... Erm interesting set up."

Minerva walked into class, "Hello Professor can't wait for the lesson today." She smiled and turned to find a mat. "Hey Alyssa mind if I sit near you?" Minerva smiled and set down her bag. Looking around she saw the articles around the room and then the professor in her goggles and wondered what the lesson would be about. She had the flu last lesson and missed it so her curiosity was getting to her as to what might have been last lesson. Pulling out her parchment so she was ready for class Minerva sat on her mat and waited patiently.

Alyssa looked up and saw her good friend. "Hey Minnie. Of course not. I'd love for you to sit near me." Alyssa smiled scooting over, so that Minnie could move her mat closer to her.
"I didn't see you in the last class. You missed a great acting performance. I'm hoping that Professor Romanos will do another one again."Alyssa whispered to Minnie.

Despite seeing a bunch of those metal fake creature things during the last lesson, Alex was still a bit freaked out as he entered the defense against the dark arts classroom. He looked around and wrinkled his eyebrows. WHHHHYYY did they keep staring at him! It was so creepy! Romanos could have left that out of her little creatures, thank you very much.
"What up Professor!" he said with a smile as he took a seat at his usual mat. YAY yoga timeeee!

Sierra stepped into the classroom and automatically took a quick look around. Ugh. Did the professor have to have those creepy, metal creatures hanging around again? Sure, it was Defense Against the Dark Arts, but it still didn't take away from the fact that Sierra was creeped out by them.
She avoided them as much as possible and claimed a purple mat sort of in the center of things, that way she wasn't too close to the creatures just in case of them decided to...you know, get a little too realistic. "Hello, Professor," she said, just as she sat down. Better keep on this woman's good side. She controlled the creatures. O_O

Stepping into the DADA classroom, Stella's mind went to her discussion with Blue about their act. Namely, that she still needed to locate her costume, and she hadn't decided if it would be easier to owl Talia or just send an owl all the way back home to her mother. She doubted her sister had connections to vintage clothing, but she wasn't sure. There were all sorts of shops in London, after all. In any case, she hardly noticed that the metal creatures from the last lesson were back in the room until the nundu growled right as she passed, and she jumped. Well, they're more active than last lesson, she thought, making her way to her usual mat to sit down. She was going to stay away from that creature from now on. Luckily that wasn't what she was studying.
"Good day, Professor Romanos," she said to the professor, once she tore her eyes away from the growly nundu, and she gave her a smile. If anything, she was consistent, even if her creatures were apparently more agitated this time around. Maybe it was all the light coming in through the windows. They were all dark creatures, after all, so maybe the sunlight agitated them. And apparently made the professor's spider act like it was on a sugar high, scuttling in circles like it was crazy. It was all a bit off, really, but she wasn't going to question it. Not now, at least.

Almost instantly after he entered the classroom, Kennedy's green eyes landed on the creatures. They were cool, especially the snake, obviously. Still, he didn't want to get too close to them. Risking his hide was something he didn't like putting on the line...but, there were exceptions.
As he made his way to a mat, he greeted the professor. "Good day, Professor Romanos," he grinned. Kennedy then dropped his bag onto the mat that was next to Sierra's and sat down. "Who do you think would win?" he said, smiling, both a greeting and a conversation starter. He nodded at the creatures. Of course, he knew the nundu was considered one of the deadliest magical creatures, but then the dementor and its kiss...and the snake, well, it better take shelter.
Oohh... another lesson like the last one? Surely they wouldn't make another act with the same dark creature, RIGHT? Not likely... good!
Sophie walked into the classroom looking around at the metal creatures. They were kind of creepy, but she could deal with it. They were the real deal, so it was fine. "Hello, professor Romanos!" She greeted the older witch as she took a seat on a purple mat.

"Good morning, Miss Potter." she greeted in return. Medea chuckled lightly and shook her head. "Not today. I think ve'll give our professors a rest." Especially Callie's voice. Good Merlin, she wouldn't be surprised if their poor divination professor lost her voice for a good month.

She did not have enough time last time and was keen to learn more about them.

With a final check of her watch, Medea looked up to see one of their remaining students enter the arena. She took note of who was here and who wasn't. "Good morning, Mister Stonewall." she greeted before turning to the rest of the class.
"Alright, I think ve've given our stragglers long enough to get out of bed. Shall ve get started?" If they said no, she was starting anyway. She moved into a position that most of them would recognize, or should recognize. "If you can all move into the lotus position, you can start taking out your notes on spells pertaining to your specific creature that you should've done before the lesson today."
And if they didn't, that was no big deal. Today was just going to be extra hard and easy for them then. Taking out her wand, she gave a flick behind her, and a large chalkboard scooted into view. "Ven you've done that, raise your hand and tell me your creature and vot spells vould be useful against them."
OOC: Class has officially begun! Please, don't post your character arriving late, or beware the consequences. Just jump in with the lesson as if they've been here the whole time.
Laura sat there, she really wanted to say a cow or something like a sheep but she had no idea what the Professor was on about and so she just sat in the lotus position right at the back of the class, she was hoping that the Professor didn't even see her in the room, that way she could just listen to what everyone else was saying.
OIchi got sat down on the floor and got into the lotus position. The excercise poses during class still felt a bit strange to her even though this was the third lesson Still she went along anyway. She heard the first question asked and quickly took out her notes on giants. There was no more then a page cause there really wasn't a heck of a lot to learn. She raised her hand and responded, "I am doing my final on giants and I learned that you can use just about any spell against a giant but you need to concentrate harder then usual cause you are trying to bring down a rather huge creature. Yo could also try to catch the giant off guard by usuing wingardium leviosa on something heavy and dropping and clonking it over the giants head. This method os only noted once but it was effective", Oichi said ending on a smirk.
Jezzabelle was already in the lotus position and remained there breathing steadily. She bent over and reached for her notes and read over then once. Raising her hand she said, "My creature was Vampires and the spells that I found that would be useful against them are Immobulus, Petrificus Totalus, and Impedimenta." If you caused a vampire to become immobile than it couldn't bite you right?
