Winter was setting in to the grounds and with it came a whole new set of responsibilities for taking care of the growing dragon known as Roro. Dragons were wild creatures and by nature liked to have free roam of wherever they were living; however, having a dragon at an educational institution meant that Professor Williamson had to take certain safety precautions when getting said dragon ready for winter.
Today, he had set up the barn for an afternoon full of work; the students didn't know it yet, but they were all going to be acting as dragonologists in training today. First things first though, they had to get here, and Willy had to finish setting up.
Sitting just outside the barn door was a horseshoe-shaped assortment of hay bales, all of which had been charmed to feel as though one was sitting on a sun-warmed rock. Inside the open barn, and just visible to those sitting on the hay bales, was a giant, emptybaby pool and something that looked like a big harness....
No professor was in sight though. While you wait for class to start, why not take a seat and at least keep your bum warm?
Roro was still very wary of this group of hoomans. Verrrry wary. The one he'd knocked over still seemed to be prone on the ground, from what he could see out of the corner of his eye. The hooman's words about nobleness and greatness meant nothing to the dragon for, after all, he was a dragon.
The singing, on the other hand, was a welcome distraction. Roro put his wings away, ignoring the light choking his hooman 'handler's were doing, and started to blink slowwwwly, more and more slowwwwwwwwwwwwly. He felt like taking a wittle dwagon nap wight here, wight now. Would anyone weeeeally care if he dwifted off to sweep?
He let out a little dwagon yawn and settled into the ground, swishing his tail more slowly now that the hoomans were being good and singing to him and stuffs.
Nigel and the group were still humming the song. When Nigel saw that Roro was looking tired and actually settling onto the ground to take a nap. He was happy that the plan was working and they did not have to deal with a angry dragon anymore. Roro as a sleepy dragon was kinda cute Nigel thought.
Nigel stopped humming for a second and said in a whisper "Should we stop humming or keeping going till Roro is fast alseep?" Nigel hoped his group would have a good asnwer to that question

Williamson finished dumping the last of the baby oil into the baby pool and then wiped his hands on a rag. There. Done with that. Wooo! Good. Time to move on.
Although he had been busy with his own little side-project, he hadn't missed a minute of the dragon-walking exchange process. Not a minute. One eye might have been on the baby oil filling up the pool but the other was definitely on the students the whole time. He'd noticed when Roro had farted, when he had knocked over an innocent student, and when he had sped up or refused to walk because the kids were being bad dog dragon-walkers.
Now it was time to wrap it up.
"All right, guys, all right," Williamson made sure to cast a 'sonorus' spell on his voice so that everyone could hear him. "Start wrapping up your walking of Roro, if you're walking him right now. We've got to give the dragon baby a bath! So move him on up here to the baby pool, all right."
He smiled at them all and held out his hand for the leash... for whichever group had the dragon at the moment.
OOC: Remember, you all "took turns" and walked Roro at different times/paces. Heh. So you can just RP handing the leashes back to Willy regardless of whether or not your team was last to finish up. =)

Oh, GOOD! Their time was up! Sophie sighed in relief - even though Roro was really calm and sleepy now - and couldn't wait to hand the leash back to professor Williamson.
Um... how were they to do that if Roro was... sleeping? She looked around to her fellow group members and waited for someone to have a good idea.
Should they wake up the baby dragon? Should they pull it along while it was sleeping? Should they just... leave it there where it was?

"Aye...maybe," Gideon remarked as Anya commented on Roro's actions when able to speak in the fast-paced movement of the dragon. As for the question of treats that first Tag and then Anya brought up he couldn't be sure and offered a slight one-armed shrug as he awaited a reaction to his pulling on the leash that he held. It wasn't too long in coming and a positive one at that which was surely good.
It seemed the dragon was going to be obediant rather then troublesome as Roro slowed down in reaction to his and Tag's instructions and his pull. "Thats a good Roro," Gideon replied with a pet , the boy doing his best to be good to the creature if not with the treats that the younger lion promised. Professor Williamson would surely provide any of that...right? Seeing as none of the teams had anything to give.
Gideon thought about getting Roro to move again so they could continue their walk when Anya stepped in front of creature inspecting his muzzle. The prefect kept an eye on things in case it wasn't a good idea...Williamson had mentioned being careful around Roro's head. He was about to say something when he was interrupted, the dragon letting out a large sneeze and covering the younger Gryffindor with dragon snot.
Ewww...
Speaking of Williamson, the professor was calling them back so they could give Roro a bath. Gideon briefly wondered if that planned bath should include Anya then realizing it would probably be best for her later on. "Here..." he said offering a hankerchief he had to the girl to give some kind of help for now. "Come on Roro..." he said then, turning and pulling on his lease to guide the dragon back to the start, figuring his group would hopefully just follow along. "Here ye go, Professor."

Oh!!! It worked!!! She smiled at her friends and gave a thumbs up! She would have said something if she wasn't afraid her voice would wake up the sleepy dragon.
Phew! That was close!
Alyssa breathed a sigh of relief when Minnie's plan worked and Roro started to calm down and was swishing his tail more slowly. Only now, he was yawning!! "Great thinking Minnie. Singing has definitely calmed him down. Only now he's yawning. Does that mean he's going to sleep? Do we let him sleep or do we try to get him to walk again?" Alyssa asked her fellow dragon walkers.

Nigel was a little relieved and and a little sad that the group was basically done walking Roro. It isn't everyday you get to walk a baby dragon. But Nigel was still happy Minnie's plan worked but how do they get Roro over to Professor and his baby pool. "Um should we call over Professor Williamson and tell him Roro fell asleep?" Nigel had no idea what to do in this situation.

UGH.
What in the name of all Hades was that smell?! Sierra frowned and shot a glare in the dragon's direction. She would have to end up stuck with the dragon while he was sick to his stomach. Must be what he just ate. Who WOULDN'T be sick after THAT?!

Mordred could swear that another TOOT came out again as his nostrils were filled with the smell of rotten eggs. “Eugh!” he said as he covered his nose with his sleeve. “Was that you, Kurumi?” because Mordred thought she was having a fart fest / competition with RoRo. Woops. Talking about letting it rip!
Sierra tried to stifle her laugh, but it came out anyway. She'd have to pat ole Mordred on the back once they were back in the common room. Excellent. Too bad he didn't ask Kurumi that very question so loudly the whole class could hear!

Ella wanted to jump up when the humming calmed baby Roro but that really would have defeated the purpose of the humming in the first place so...The second year instead followed Sophie's lead and gave her group mates a big thumbs up. Yup. And Minnie got a wide smile too cause she was some sort of dragon genius or something!
As the little blonde watched the dragon settle down, its big droopy lids struggling to stay open, she couldn't help but think how CUTE the little guy was. She just wanted to cuddle his face. BUT she didn't, knowing he didn't like that. And then Professor Williamson was calling them and telling them to bring Roro to take his bath. Uhhh...but what if the baby was like...erm...sleeping? Apparently the other members of the group were just as confused on what to do as she was. "Um...maybe if we ask him nicely he'll come. He might like baths." And Ella sidestepped a bit in case a wing came flying at her and spoke to the dragon. "Hey little Roro, you're a good boy, aren't you? Come on baby, it's time for your bath!"

Of course, then Kennedy had instructed Roro to show them what he could do, and she'd turned surprised eyes to the prefect as the dragon had sped up his sauntering. She was able to keep up, but then she had longer legs. her concern was for the littler members of their group. Hopefully they wouldn't trip, although by now she was willing to literally pick Lily up if she had to. She wouldn't be able to carry everyone, though, and her gaze went back to Roro at the first of the 'EORKORK's. "Are you trying to make sure we keep up, Roro?, " she asked calmly. That was rather sweet, if that was the case. The dragon had seemed to like them, at least, so she was assuming the sounds weren't warnings of a negative aspect.

It was curious how people grew to adapt at situations so easily sometimes.
He had no problems keeping up with the dragon, and wanted to communicate with it somehow, but he just wasn't that courageous. Maybe it would feel his want? If not... he would think of a way. He just couldn't let this chance pass without touching it somehow... a touch that had no teeths whatsoever.
Lily was grinning. There was no question about it. Even Roro looked like he was having a good time... until he started to walk faster. That was probably the only problem... because Lily's legs weren't quite long enough yet to keep up with the dragon, so she had to jog in order to keep up. After a while, though, it became increasingly difficult to keep up, because, well..., little humans get tired sometimes.

Addie giggled as little Roro started EORKORKing. It was such a funny sound. Addie wished that she could understand what the baby dragon was trying to say. If she could to talk to it, it would be a funny and very interesting conversation. For instances she would ask why the baby dragon strutted. And it was going really quickly. A little to quickly for Addie's petite, 4'4" body. Nope her little legs couldn't take her that fast. "Hey Roro," she said patting his head gently. "Want to go a little slower?" Please. Addie made a puppy dog face at the little dragon strutting its stuff.
SPOILER!!: no more dragon :(

WHAAAAATTTTT? They had to give the dragon back.
NO. Addie didn't want to stop walking Roro. It was fun! Really fun, and now they were giving the dragon a bath. Well that might be fun also, as long as they got to help. Then it would be all good, and Addie wouldn't be as mad at the professor for making them stop walking the dragon. Addie walked with the dragon and her team over to the professor. "Bye Roro," she said giving the dragon one last nice pat. "It was fun walking you, even if you did go a little fast." Addie handed her leash back and looked expectantly at the professor. Please say we get to help give Roro a bath, was all that her mind was trying to telepathically tell the teacher.

Kurumi instantly forgave little Roro when she saw the grin on his little dragon face. AAAAAAAAW!! Wasn't that just precious?! So precious that Kurumi missed all the looks Sierra was giving her and she almost missed Professor Williamson announce that it was time to end their walk and bring the little guy back over to him for a bath.
A bath? In baby oil? That sounded rather messy...
A small frown tugging at her lips, Kurumi helped her team steer Roro back towards the professor and reluctantly handed the leash back over when Sierra spoke. "Not necessarily," Kurumi said in a matter of fact tone. "All it is is a chemical process within all living things' stomachs. Roro did just have a rather large meal before we all walked him, so that was digesting and decomposing because of the acids in his stomach which forms gases." Kurumi sort of nodded after saying this. Roro was just being a growing dragon, nothing to be ashamed of - in case he was. "That gas has to go somewhere." If it didn't, well, THEN Roro would be sick.
Kurumi leaned forward a bit again and gave Roro a soft pat on his back. He had been SUCH a good boy.

When Alyssa heard Professor Williamson tell them that they could now bring RoRo over to get his bath, she looked at the baby dragon. He looked like he was dozing off. She heard everyone's suggestions before making her own.
"He doesn't look like he has entirely dozed off, maybe if he hears his daddy's aka Professor Williamson's voice he might perk up or Ella's idea might work too. I suggest...one...we try waking him by gently shaking on our leashes or do what Ella is doing and encourage him to wake up by telling him what he's going to be doing next. If he continues to lie there, then I guess we either try option 2...and that is to levitate him to Professor Williamson, and I'm not sure whether either Roro or Professor Williamson would like us doing that....or option 3, telling Professor Williamson that Roro is taking a snooze. " Alyssa didn't think either option 2 or 3 sounded great.
"What do you guys want to do? I'll do whatever you all decide."

Nigel was still thinking about ways to get Roro over to Professor Williamson. He thought about some solutions but nothing good. He then started listening to everybody else's ideas and did not like the idea of levitating Roro to the pool. What if he woke up in mid air and started fighting spell Nigel thought.
But he liked Ella's idea of encouraging to wake Roro up slowly and tell him his daddy wants to give him a bath. "I like the Ella's idea, lets tell him that his daddy wants to give him a bath". Hopefully this idea works because this seems like the only real good idea we have thought Nigel.

Chelle would occasionally give him a nice pat on the back. Towards the end, she even thought of giving him some dragon treats, but she wasn't sure if they had any. Standing back up again and straightening out, Roro held his tail up high and led his three hooman walkers on a nice little trip around the barn, going slow so they could take in any sights and sounds AND walking through all the rows nice and carefully too.
He looked back at Chelle prodded a bit more on his work with animals "Both actually, but I spent more time with Muggle shelters since there are more neglected animals there." he responded sadly, adjusting the leash in his hand. But the smile crept back onm his face when he watched the clearly happy dragon thump his tail on the floor. Dragon treats? Automatically he started to pat his robes, he felt the Dolly's bird treats but it was hardly something to feed to a dragon "Unfortunately I dont have any dragon treats, Perhaps the Professor might have some... " he craned his neck to find where the Dragonkeeper was, unsure if the other man would have some dead rats stashed away in his pockets.
He petted the dragon as encouragingly as they went through their paces, given how the dragon was setting an easy walk he stepped back juuust a bit to allow the younger Claws a bit more control with the Dragon, allowing them to build their confidence with the creature.

And as he heard the Professor call out he stepped around the dragon in a way to direct their group back towards the barn "Time to go back Roro " he crooned again, glancing at the girls to gently lead the dragon back to where Professor Williamson stood. As they drew nearer he spotted the now filled inflatable pool with clear liquid he wrongly assumed as water. He handed the leash over to the Professor "He's a good dragon." he said smiling, petting Roro on his back just like he did earlier. Eyes goes back to the pool "Does he use some kind of.... soap? Shampoo? A soft brush?" he's merely going by what he did when caring for smaller, Muggle reptiles pets like iguanas. He has no clue if any of that process can be applied to a dragon.

Silvia was a bit disappointed when the professor called them to bring Roro in. She was enjoying walking him. She helped to lead him back to the front of the barn. "Thanks for being such a good dragon, Roro," Silvia said as she gave him a final pet before they reached the professor. "Maybe next time we'll have a treat for you," though she wasn't exactly sure where to get any or what kind of food would be considered a dragon treat. She handed over the leash to the professor.
So Roro was getting a bath next. That seemed like it would be interesting to see. She wondered whether or not Roro liked baths; many non-magical pets didn't, and some did. If he didn't, then it might result in a really big mess. So hopefully he liked them, or at least tolerated it.

Was that oil?
Sniff, sniff.
"Professor! Is this Johnson's baby?!" Chelle exclaimed. It sure did smell like it. She looked at the baby dragon, enviously. "Lucky baby," she said, petting him. Seriously, I'll bring him dragon treats next time.

After a while, though, it became increasingly difficult to keep up, because, well..., little humans get tired sometimes.
Luckily, though, it was time to finish up. So they had to bring Roro back over to Professor Williamson. Slowing to a light jog, the second year made her way over to the professor with the rest of her team, before handing him the leash and moving out of the way so that they could get the next set of instructions. For this part, Lily stuck somewhat close to Stella... in case they needed groups again for the next activity....

A little to quickly for Addie's petite, 4'4" body. Nope her little legs couldn't take her that fast. "Hey Roro," she said patting his head gently. "Want to go a little slower?" Please. Addie made a puppy dog face at the little dragon strutting its stuff.
As they'd continued around the barn, Stella noticed that her prediction when Roro had first sped up certainly seemed to be true. She couldn't quite tell how Kennedy, João and Oichi were doing on the opposite side of the dragon, other than the fact she'd thought she'd heard achuckle from João, but it was obvious that Lily and Addie were struggling to keep up with the young dragon. Both girls still seemed to be enjoying the walk, but they still seemed to be tiring out. She didn't want to have to figure out how to carry two exhausted girls back to the front of the barn, after all, even if there was always the possibility of trying to carry one and levitating the other. In fact, she had started to think about speaking to the dragon herself shortly before Addie had gone and done so.
They managed to get back around the barn, luckily enough and she heard Professor Williamson announcing that they were going to be bathing the dragon next. Oh, fun, she thought, half-facetiously. She wasn't exactly looking forward to ending up covered in... she looked in the baby pool as she handed her leash to the professor... baby oil. Would Impervius even work on that?, she wondered, stepping back again and resting a hand delicately on Lily's shoulder as the tiny redhead had remained almost glued to her side. She couldn't tell if that meant the girl was still nervous or just wanted to make sure she had a partner she could trust if they had another activity, but she was perfectly fine with it either way. They'd managed well enough on the walk, after all.

Sierra tried to stifle her laugh, but it came out anyway. She'd have to pat ole Mordred on the back once they were back in the common room. Excellent. Too bad he didn't ask Kurumi that very question so loudly the whole class could hear!
Perhaps all the dictionaries you eat? Sierra thought to herself.
...and was that dragon smiling?! UGH! How rude! Sierra would just be glad when this dragon walk was over. She hadn't enjoyed it all. Nope. Not only tiny bit. The only silver lining in the class had been a drenched Kurumi Hollingberry and that time when Mordred accusing her of gasing out the class!
...and now the pony ride, er dragon walk, was over. "Professor?" Sierra asked, waving the hand not on the leash in the air. "I think Roro's sick..." Still holding on to the leash, though, she started to guide Roro back over to WWW. Here, Papa Dragon, you can have your stinky baby back.

Roro kept on walking as if nothing happened and Mordred continued to cover his nose with his sleeve; just in case Kurumi decides to TOOT again with everyone behind her. Who would have thought that Kurumi had that side...and all it takes was a dragon for her to fart. Now, he is a firm believer that dorks bookworms like her have a naughty side.
Of course the whole thing won’t be complete without Ms. Hollingberry explaining everything to them as if farting was rocket science. “Kurumi, we know that. And yes, dragons have the same right as humans to release gas...but seeing that they can’t speak or excuse themselves they have the right to do so..in public. Unlike you...” he trailed off and looked at her trying his best not to laugh. The boy still thinks that Kurumi made that sound. He was a bit surprised not to hear anything from Sierra though.

Looking up at Professor Williamson, Mordred along with the Toot team, made their way toward him and gave back his precious Roro. “It was an interesting walk professor.” He said as he gave him his leash. “Roro’s amazing!...He made Kurumi fart.” Magical creature, right? With all his might, he pulled a poker face, turned his back to the professor and stood with the rest of the students and waited for his next instruction.

Anya closed her eyes and mouth just in time. She stood there blankly for a few seconds.
She was having a dream. A very very bad dream.
She shakily put a hand on her shoulder.
Oh... this was very, very real.
"PROFESSOR!" the young Gryffindor squealed in a high pitch voice. "AmIgoingtodiefromdragonpox?!" she asked in a rush.
Dragon pox was a real disease, right?
She then stared wide-eyed at Gideon. "Aredragonbogeysacidic?" she asked in a rush.
Was she going to melt right then and there?
*flail* Why was nobody answering her quickly?!
She eyed the dragon bath. And what were the chances she was allowed to have a go in that before the dragon?
She flailed and ran in a bit of a circle. Somebody do something!

Actually she was lucky that Roro couldn't snort/breathe fire yet, or she would be toast thanks to that sneeze.
Zack was still very nervous about the whole dragon thing but at last, he could at least make himself hold one of the leash. He was standing there looking at the dragon and Anya doing something around the nose of the dragon though he wasn't sure if that was safe.
He knew something bad could happen. What if the dragon got angry or something? Anya was behaving as if that was a cat. Zack was just about to stop but then suddenly the dragon sneezed so hard that all of his inside from his nose were on Anya. For a second he was to laugh so hard looking at what just happened infront of him. Then stopped he knew that would not be nice of him. And there it was, Anya was screaming and kind of running or what was that he didn't know. But all he knew was that he was trying his best not to laugh. He was the one so scared of dragon but the dragon was funny! And now Zack was starting to feel good. After all, this wouldn't he that tough. He looked at Anya not showing any sign of laughter in his voice and said "Anya, are you alright? Maybe you should tell professor to use the cleaning spell on you." he mentioned a bit of help. does the cleaing spell work of humans or only on cauldrons he didn't know but it was worth trying.

Alyssa nodded when Nigel agreed that they would attempt to keep Roro awake and headed to the pool where the Professor was still waiting for them, by convincing Roro that bath time was going to be fun.
"Right. So we're going to talk to him and convince him that bath time is fun. Since he may still be irritated with me, I'll let you guys do that while I hold his leash and talk to him from behind you guys "
So still holding on to the leash but making sure that she wasn't pulling too tight on it, Alyssa tried talking to the baby dragon. "Bath time Roro. Lots and lots of water to play in it....and Daddy is there waiting for you. Don't you want to see Daddy and go bath bath?" Alyssa encouraged Roro.
'Please get up RoRo.' Alyssa thought to herself. 'If not for me, at least for the younger kids. They are really trying their best.'

Laura didn't want to touch the Dragons lead, it would bite whoever did take off the lead. "Roro won't let us take off his lead." Okay so she hadn't tried but the Professor didn't know that.
