Winter was setting in to the grounds and with it came a whole new set of responsibilities for taking care of the growing dragon known as Roro. Dragons were wild creatures and by nature liked to have free roam of wherever they were living; however, having a dragon at an educational institution meant that Professor Williamson had to take certain safety precautions when getting said dragon ready for winter.
Today, he had set up the barn for an afternoon full of work; the students didn't know it yet, but they were all going to be acting as dragonologists in training today. First things first though, they had to get here, and Willy had to finish setting up.
Sitting just outside the barn door was a horseshoe-shaped assortment of hay bales, all of which had been charmed to feel as though one was sitting on a sun-warmed rock. Inside the open barn, and just visible to those sitting on the hay bales, was a giant, emptybaby pool and something that looked like a big harness....
No professor was in sight though. While you wait for class to start, why not take a seat and at least keep your bum warm?

Nerida said Okay sounds good. She grasped the leash a tiny bit tighter and started walking just like Angelina. She walked slowly not to fast because she didnt want to scare the poor thing... This was so amazing, she had never ever walked a dragon before! She had a big smile on her face!

Of course, there was no way Professor Williamson wouldn't have heard that, either, and her dark eyes went to the man as he'd responded to Kennedy's proclamation. I'm not so sure shy would be the word I would have gone for, she thought, watching the leashes waving around for a moment before taking a deep breath and stepping forward a little. Roro wasn't going to walk himself, after all, but she turned back to Kennedy again with a thought as he'd picked up the leashes from the professor. "How do we want to do this? There's four leashes, and six of us. Maybe pair Lily and Oichi with another person?," she asked. Because they were younger, and that way they'd be hopefully safer. Plus, that way Lily could stay attached to her if she so wanted, since the redhead seemed like she felt like she could be trusted in the face of a dragon. And maybe they could pair someone with João, so the leash wouldn't be flying loose if he did faint.

When Kennedy called out that they were ready, he suddenly shook out of the trance and turned to them at last. He just... he had to be brave and let the others not talk about his fear. He could actually do it. Plus, Aspen was watching and... he'd made a fool of himself already both in Herbology and dungeons. He jsut had to be brave like a stupid 'dork and get over with it.
"I'm... okay..." he said to the others in a weak, but determined voice and nodded as if he was trying to convince the others, though he tried to convince himself more.
He was ready... Aspen was there... the whole school was there... and he certainly didn't want to be all wet and laughed at like Kurumi.

"Yep I'm Addie," she said making her introduction nice short and sweet as they got ready to walk the dragon.
Addie took one of the four leashes as she saw Lily attach herself to Stella's side. "I can partner with someone on my leash," she said eyeing the little Gryffindor and the Slytherin who looked like he might faint, either one would be fine by her. Hmm...Stella was right. They had to pair up two of the younger ones either with each other or with one of the older one students. He eyed the young Gryffindor and grinned at her enthusiasm. She'd better be partnered up with someone...someone who lacked excitement...someone like...
AHA!
João! He slowly turned his attention toward him and grinned. "João, would it be okay if Oichi partnered up with you to hold the leash?" Because she was excited and ready to go as where the older Slytherin boy still seemed hesitant about it.
As he waited for an answer he turned to Stella. Since Lily seemed to know her Kennedy figured they'd feel comfortable partnering up, but it was up for debate if they thought otherwise. "Hey, Stella you wouldn't mind Lily joining you to handle the leash, would you?" he asked.
If everyone was fine with that then that left Kennedy and Addie each to a leash. "So, Addie here's a leash." Then he handed one to João and Stella. Was everything okay? Yes? No?
Kennedy wanted to walk the dragon already!

Kennedy's eyes sparked with excitement. HE was holding a leash to a dragon. Not just any dragon though, a dragon he had seen hatch. He held out his hand to it, but not in an intimidating way. It was more of a may-I-pet-you kind. He did that when he wanted to pet a dog. Let them sniff you first, letting them know you mean no harm.
Silvia was excited, though she may not have shown just how excited; she kept it under control. When it was finally their turn, she eagerly accepted a leash from the older Ravenclaw with a "Thanks." Hopefully the three of them would be able to manage, seeing as they were a small group and two of them were younger students. As long as Roro cooperated though, they should be fine.
"Hello, Roro," she said, thinking that it might be a good idea to be friendly since he seemed to be nervous around all the students. Then turning back to the others, she asked "Are we almost ready?"
Chelle was shaking. Although she couldn't tell how excited the others were, she knew she wasn't. AT ALL. And it was no point trying to hide her apprehension because she knew that she had the most transparent face in the universe, and it always gave away her true feelings. She reluctantly took the leash from Vickers and and clutched it as tightly as she could.
"Vickers... would you like to lead?" she asked the older Ravenclaw, thinking that it might be a good idea since he was older. And stronger. She looked at Sylvia for approval, who was trying to be friendly with the dragon.
Seriously? Does that work?
She decided to try her hand at being friendly with him. "Roro, you darling..." she said in a low voice, reaching her free hand out to pet him.

Still keeping an eye on Roro as she waited for Kennedy to respond to her suggestion as to how they should walk the dragon, Stella had kept the rest of her attention on the rest of their group. Especially João, as she still wasn 't sure he'd be alright to join them once they got everything figured out. She had to give him points as he'd finally spoken up, though. Something was giving him the determination to stay upright, and she looked around only to see Aspen just sort of hanging around while everyone else was grouping up. Mentally shrugging, as she really didn't care to get into the Slytherin's motivations beyond knowing that he wasn't about to faint on them, she just turned back to him with a reassuring smile. Roro was just a baby dragon, after all. They'd be fine.
It helped that Oichi and Addie seemed to be excited over the prospect of walking Roro, which, combined with Kennedy's unsaid confidence, convenced her even more that things would be fine. And she'd have a story to tell over the holidays, as well. She'd looked down at Lily with another smile as the smaller redhead had seemed to agree with her earlier suggestion that she pair up with herself, too. All they really needed was Oichi's exuberance, and it would keep the rest of their spirits up. As long as it hadn't seemed to influence Roro himself, of course. Are dragons like dogs, as in, they react to our own excitement almost exponentially?, she wondered. Roro was definitely not a dog, but if she could mentally pretend the dragon was, she'd get through this easier.

Roro had no idea who this one wittle hooman was talking to, but he did snap his wittle dragon jaws at her and let a big spot of drool drip down his jaw. She was just standing there, so... did dat mean she was a dead ferret snack? She looked like a dead ferret.

It was more of a may-I-pet-you kind. He did that when he wanted to pet a dog. Let them sniff you first, letting them know you mean no harm.
"Hey, Roro."
Roro certainly wasn't acting much different than a dog. A puppy, even, if said puppy was itching for exercise and could snap off your hand with one bite. She'd turned back to watch the dragon in time to catch the drool dripping down, and realized it was eyeing their lone Gryffindor. Oichi of the dragon exuberance, which only furthered her theory that the young dragon was influenced by the excitement. At least, she hoped that was just it, because she wasn't entirely certain how Professor Williamson would react to the dragon trying to eat one of his students for lunch.
The concern was pushed back as she'd heard her name again, and she turned to nod at Kennedy as he'd asked if she was fine partnering with Lily on a leash. That had been her idea anyway, even if she hadn't actually said it, so she was perfectly fine with it. Obviously Lily was as well, and she gave the redhead a smile as the prefect and their defacto group leader continued to establish leash instructions, and she took the leash that was handed to her confidently as Kennedy himself had approached the dragon carefully. They'd walk Roro around the barn, and nothing was going to happen to make it anything other than just a normal circumstance of caring for any of the magical creatures in the sanctuary. Well, maybe not the pygmy puffs, but any of the larger creatures.

He wanted to walk already!!!
Did that... did that LICKED itself looking at him?
João didn't like it. No, he liked it alright when there were ten metres and a metal cage between them. Then it was okay. Then the world was a beautiful place. But now? When it LICKED its mouth that only meant it wanted to EAT him? Not at all. He would just hold on though and stay close to Kennedy. The boy seemed to know what he was doing. Maybe, if it wanted to eat him, he would protect him.
He would, right?!
...
And just like that, he was partnered with Oichi. He didn't mind it now at all, as long as he got to be next to Kennedy. And acting quickly, probably surprising the team as they eyed him to see if he was going to faint, he got the spot next to him, then turned to this Oichi girl. Yep. The whole school was watching them. He still wasn't too keen on doing this, but at least he would do his best.
Just like that Kenny, keep him occupied with your petting.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Daichi looked from Sierra to the dragon and back to Sierra again. Was she being serious or just joking? Harmless as a flobberworm.. "right.." The Slytherin muttered as he eyed the dragon. "I don't really trust that creature." He mumbled and turned to look at Mordred who had decided to join their group.
Poor Kurumi, being the only Gryffindor in the group now. As the Professor began to explain, Daichi's eyes NEVER left the dragon as it stopped eating. He still had his phoenix feather wand in his hand from when he had tried to wake up the Gryffindor Prefect and only nodded his head as Mordred asked if they were ready.
He was kinda ready... as long as that thing didn't breathe fire ..it was okay ..right? They Professor wouldn't send them to danger deliberatly ..right?
Taking a deep , shaky breath he listened to Kurumi as she ... told the dragon their names. "K-KURUMI!" he had raised his voice in panic. "Why'd you say our names?! What if he remembers mine and doesn't like me?!" breaaathe Daichi breeathe.
As the others went to grab the leashes, Daichi continued to eye the dragon. He shuffled a step forward before stopping. Shuffled forward again. And stopped. His wand hand was shaking and after a few long seconds he got to the left over leash. He grasped it tightly with his hands and looked at his partners for the lesson. "i'm r-r-ready" he asked and cursed himself in his head for saying those words. He was NOT ready. THIS was scary! Why couldn't they have a lesson about ducks!?

Mordred looked at Roro who flapped his wings, obviously excited about something. Is he really into socializing and stuff? Dragons were supposed to be anti-social creatures, right? But then again, he has to be thankful, he was slightly sure they won’t be eaten or anything. He took a step forward Roro and found it hard to do the next step. “Relax Mordaunt, you’re just going to walk a giant lizard…with wings.” The boy told himself and finally got one of the leashes at the back.

Before she could ask this, Mordred stood between her and Sierra and asking them a question. "Oh, um, I think we are," she nodded as she took a glance towards Professor Williamson AND RORO!! "We are all going to need to hold some part of his leash, right?" This wasn't going to be like walking a dog, well, maybe it was...if a three year old was walking a German Shepard.

Oh, well. Points. Credit. That was enough reason, she concluded.
"Ready or not," she said, gesturing toward the dragon. It looked like they were next, so it wasn't like they had a choice.
...and just why was the blasted dragon so excited about being putting on a leash and walking around and around in a circle? Didn't it have the freedom, at least right now, to walk around on its own? Idiotic creature...
Sierra shrugged at Kurumi's comment. What did she care if the girl slept at night or not? So as long as she didn't fall asleep on Sierra's shoulder, Sierra didn't care...
Then Kurumi was walking forward and grabbing a hold of the leash, so Sierra did, as well. Wait. Was Hollingberry really talking to the dragon? Giving him everyone's names? Sierra gave Kurumi a 'you have GOT to be kidding me' look. Then when all was said and done, it looked like they were ready to go. Except... "Where's Daichi?" she asked. Had he grabbed a hold of the leash yet? They'd need him...

Kurumi then introduced each one of them. The boy simply looked at the Gryffindor prefect with awe and amusement. Now that leaves them to put a good impression on the dragon. He knew dragons were smart, and they get to remember countless memories and people. They get to live for thousands of years, so they must have huge memory.
“Ready or not.” He sighed. Why can’t they just ride and fly the dragon? That was way cooler. Mordred looked around to and looked for the other Slytherin and found him taking the last leash. Daichi was shaking all over. Mordred placed his hand on his shoulder and gave him a, it’s-going-to-be-okay look. They can’t have a fainting student in the presence of a dragon. Bad idea.

Sophie didn't even get the chance to say anything when Alyssa and Minnie rushed to the dragon and got the leash. Okay then! And as one of her housemates said, she would happily hold one of the parts with Ella, not a problem!
She grabbed the same leash thingy that Ella was holding and waited for whatever came next.
Gaaahhh! Sophie tripped and almost fell down when Roro tugged them along. That dragon was strong! Luckly Ella was close, so Sophie bumped with her and was then able to find her balance again.
And the baby dragon wanted to dring the water on the floor! Eek. Oh well, it was actually kind of cute when it tried to do that. Hehehe!

Yikes! Hopefully he wouldn't be the one walking them. The second year continued to watch the dragon curiously as Nigel offered to hold the leash with her. "Sure that would be ni-" But then Minnie was suggesting where everyone might go to hold the leashes in order for the walk to go more smoothly. So Ella was meant to hold the leash with Sophie now? That was okay with her! She smiled at Sophie and picked up the leash, holding on tight. Ready...set...go!
Roro was quite the curious dragon, checking out the ground as they walked. When he stopped at the puddle, Ella smiled and watched him curiously. Was the little guy thirsty? And how much could a dragon drink, anyway? Probably a lot! "That's it, little guy, drink your water." He was a growing boy after all, yeah? She laughed when Alyssa suggested he might want to go swimming. That would be funny...any maybe a little messy to but hey, she was gonna go with the flow. And then Minnie was checking on everyone to see if they were doing alright. Ella was doing more than alright! She was doing GREAT! They were walking a dragon, after all! "All good here, Minnie!" She replied with a smile. Yup. Everything was going good so far...
Ella saw Sophie almost fall and her eyes grew wide. Luckily, her fellow puff was able to regain her balance and ended up bumping into Ella rather than falling to the ground. "You okay Sophie?" She asked, concerned. Though her friend looked okay now so they could continue, yeah?
"You guys, I can't believe we're actually walking a dragon...A DRAGON? This is the coolest thing ever." And she beamed at the dragon from her place at his side. "You hear that, Roro? You're the coolest."And the strongest creature that Ella had ever walked!

Nigel was just starting to relax watching Roro drink the water. He totally agreed with Alyssa and most definitely did not want Roro to take a bath or swim in it now and get everybody in their group wet. That would not have been good. He then made a suggestion "Um lets all try to stay as far away from the water as we can" To prevent getting wet he did what he was told and held on tight.
But suddenly Sophie was off balance and hit into Ella. Oh no Nigel thought, he hoped Sophie would not fall into the water and get all wet. But thankfully she regained her balance and kept looking at Roro."Ella, Sophie are you two alright?" It looked like it hurt Nigel thought.
While holding on tightly hoping Roro did not take a swim he started to study Roro because he agreed with Ella and thought Roro was an awesome dragon. "Yeah Roro you are the coolest and most awesome dragon there is" Hopefully Roro will move away from the water now

Sure they liked to drink it but to play in? That was something she was curious about. "Nigel, I'm with you on that one." And she tightened her grip on the leash a little bit, sending the first year a small smile.
The second year was making sure Sophie hadn't hurt herself when Nigel called over to them to see if they were okay. "All good over here." She said, giving him a thumbs up. That had been close though. They would have to be careful not to let Roro tug them too much.
Minerva was walking with Roro when she thought she heard someone ask Soph if she was okay. "Is everyone alright, we don't need to switch up the leashes do we? We can I don't want anyone getting hurt." She didn't want to see any of her friends fall or get hurt.
"Nigel I think your right, let's try to stay away from the water. If he would decided to go for a swim we might all end up in there and I'm not sure I care to get wet right now. Awesome! So they can pet the dragon. He nodded his head happily and bent down to pat the youngling gently on its side, somewhere between its spine and the ribcage "Hey there Roro..." he cooed, making sure to keep his movements smooth and at the open, trying to avoid any action or sounds that it could make the dragon frightened or defensive.

Hopefully the three of them would be able to manage, seeing as they were a small group and two of them were younger students. As long as Roro cooperated though, they should be fine.
"Hello, Roro," she said, thinking that it might be a good idea to be friendly since he seemed to be nervous around all the students. Then turning back to the others, she asked "Are we almost ready?"

"Vickers... would you like to lead?" she asked the older Ravenclaw, thinking that it might be a good idea since he was older. And stronger. She looked at Sylvia for approval, who was trying to be friendly with the dragon.
Seriously? Does that work?
She decided to try her hand at being friendly with him. "Roro, you darling..." she said in a low voice, reaching her free hand out to pet him.
As he stood up he watched Silvia regard Roro with similar gentle fashion. "Good... thats how you do it. Have you ever worked with animals before?" he asked curiously. He glanced at Chelle when she asked the question, and realized she wasnt quite as comfy with the whole set-up as they did "Sure, I dont mind." he nodded then gave the younger Claw a reassuring smile "Dont worry, being calm and friendly will give off the vibes that we mean it no harm and he can trust us."
Turning his attention back to the dragon he gripped the end of the leash tightly in his hand, but made sure the rest of the leash was pretty lax before clicking his tongue and said "Lets go Roro."

She nodded at Vickers. He seemed quite comfortable with Roro. Much more comfortable than she was. Oh, wait. Everyone else was more comfortable than her. But he gave good advice. "Thanks. I am pretty good with dogs, but I guess it's the same with all animals, eh?" she said to both, Vickers and Sylvia.
It must be the same logic. You gotta show them that you're fearless. Then they don't act suspicious around you and they adore you instead.
Taking a deep breath, she stroked Roro's back as gently and smoothly as she could. It almost felt like he was just a normal animal in the Muggle world. That made her feel a lot better. She felt a smile forming on her lips.
Okay, bro, let's do this.
She held the leash tightly and waited behind Vickers. Oh yes, he would be leading. But she planned to walk the dragon too, along with Sylvia. From behind Vickers.

Lily was.... well, she didn't quite know how she felt about walking a dragon. It was a dragon... that could probably eat a human... not that Professor Williamson would allow that. So Lily stood close to Stella, every now and again glancing over at the dragon to make sure Roro wasn't getting too close. When Prefect Kennedy asked if it would be fine for Stella to team up with Lily, Lily nodded with a grin. Yes... this would be fun if they could team up.
As her older Ravenclaw buddy took one of the leashes, Lily grabbed hold of the leash as well, preparing herself for the walk of a lifetime... Who knew when she would get to walk a dragon again? So now all they had to do was wait for the rest of the team to take a leash so that they could get Roro walking. Let's go... letsgoletsgoletsgo...

Kurumi then introduced each one of them. The boy simply looked at the Gryffindor prefect with awe and amusement. Now that leaves them to put a good impression on the dragon. Sierra's head turned sharply toward Mordred. "Don't tell me you're scared of the little dragon, too?" Sierra asked. What was UP with the males in Slytherin house?! MAN UPPPPP! "Look on the bright side. If he looks like he might start to eat one of us, we've got a whole Gryffindor to feed him." She gestured toward Kurumi with a smirk. Then lightening her expression a bit, she added, "Just kidding." Heh.
She tightened her grip on the leash, just in case Roro decided to run off. Was he going to walk now?!

"Is everyone okay so far? Sophie? Feeling okay back there? Let me know if you want to swap me, anyone. From what I can see RoRo seems to be still headed for the water. Here's hoping that he's still just thirsty and doesn't get inquisitive about what's in the pool of water. But we do need to keep alert and start pulling him back if he decides to step into it, okay?" Alyssa told the others.
"I know I don't mind getting wet, but I don't think that I want to go swimming with a dragon in it." Alyssa shuddered just thinking about it.

Narumi basically stood in the background silent, personally she was freaked out of the dragon. Seeing how calm Nerida was being really got Narumi to come out of her shell and go for it. After all if Nerida could do it, Narumi could do it!! She walked over to Nerid and asked Mind, if I join you?

While the students got busy walking Roro, William made his way over to the empty, inflated baby 'pool' and started filling it up. He had buckets and buckets full of baby oil, enough to fill up the whole pool, and had nothing better to do than to simply dump it in.
This was all a part of dragon care, people. Not glamorous, not easy, but very messy and fun. Willy started whistling as he worked, making sure to keep one eye on the baby and one on the students walking him.

Laura looked at the Dragon, he wasn't that mean. "Come on people." She poked Zhenya. "You can walk the dog." Laura said, maybe if Zhenya thought it was a dog then she wouldn't be as scared as if she remembered it was a dragon they were actually walking.

Unless both of them wanted to be in the group, and well that was ok too.
Anyway whatever, Desiree was just excited to walk the dragon! The girl introduced herself as Laura, "It's nice to meet you Laura." She smiled, the Hufflepuff seemed nice. And she couldn't help but laugh a little when Zhenya was freaking out, but she smiled reassuringly to her friend and agreed with Laura, "Yeah, don't worry, of course you can do it Zhenya, I won't let the little dragon hurt you." She stood by her, if the dragon wanted to hurt her friend, it was going to have to go through her. But she was sure Roro wasn't going to hurt anyone..
Like Laura said, it'd be exactly like walking a dog. Well... maybe not exactly. She eyed the little dragon and wondered what to do first. It was their turn so she hesitantly approached him, "Hi Roro.. We're going to take you on a walk now, is that ok?" she picked up one of the leashes and waited for Zhenya and Laura to do the same. How hard could it be?
Roro didn't like being called a dog. He understood hoomans, he just usually chose to ignore them.
He wasn't about to ignore being called a DOG though.
Swishing his tail back and forth dangerously, Roro waited until all the kids in this group had a leash. And then he took off, pulling them along and showing off the power of his muscles. He may be small, but he sure was mighty. And he didn't take to being called a low DOG easily.

Once the speaker!Slytherin had decided that it was time to go for the walk, Lily took a step to be right next to the older claw. Yep... she was going to buddy up with Stella on the leash. The twelve year old didn't want to get stuck with the other slytherin who looked like he was going to either lose his lunch or pass out like the gryffindor prefect had done. Addie took one of the four leashes as she saw Lily attach herself to Stella's side. "I can partner with someone on my leash," she said eyeing the little Gryffindor and the Slytherin who looked like he might faint, either one would be fine by her. AHA!
"Hey, Roro."

This group was a group Roro liked. They petted him, they talked to him, they were pretty people...
So once they all had a leash, Roro started walking nice and slow, almost as if he were a rich person promenading along the deck of an expensive yacht. The dwagon didn't know what a yacht was, but if he had one big enough for him, he would promenade on it alright.
As it was, he even nudged the boy with curly hair with his nose and gave his hand a lick. Good boy. He liked him. Maybe he would feed him the other boy, the one with the strange name, later? Roro liked snacks. Roro was a good dwagon who wiked snacks a wot.

Roro didn't understand half of this group. Some of them seemed to like him, but some of them seemed really scared of him. Why? He was just a baby!
Tucking his wings away where they wouldn't scaaaaare any more of the hoomans, Roro started walking nice and slow so that they would be able to follow. He even let out a tiny dragon TOOT! to show that dwagons were just like hoomans; sometimes, even dragon food got the best of them.

He wasn't sure which but it didn't really matter, it just made them a bit more familiar with each other already which helped when working as a team.
"Hey," he said saying hello to his fellow housemates and for Anya, Penelope and Zack...fellow quidditch team members. Hearing Tag's suggestion, he admitted it was a good ideaseeing how Roro was with the food earlier , however the dragon was quite energetic and the prefect could only imagine how he would be with a bath. "Nae...not a bad idea. Though perhaps Professor Williamson might want it done after all the teams have gone." And perhaps the students gone.
Speaking of the professor, Williamson sought to gather their attention once more so they could each have their turn taking care and walking the large baby dragon. So they waited as a few of the other teams went before turning to his own group and finally there was an opening. "Shall we..." he said leading them over to Roro. The sixth year careful not to move too quickly or surprise the dragon as he moved not wanting to freak him out and cause any trouble.

Which slowly seemed to be drifting from him the longer he stood in the dragon's presence.

Seriously. There was no downside to this lesson.
Anya smiled at Tag and went over to hold the leash with him. Since... there were only four parts, two of them had to share. And... Anya was going to share with Tag. She made sure that she stepped between him and the dragon. You know... since there was no bad side to the lesson, she didn't really care if she got attacked or whatever.
"I'm ready." she said looking at the others.

Or not quite yet because the professor talked for a little bit first. THEN it was time for the dragon.
But they didn't go first, which Penelope might've preferred so they could go ahead and get it over with, but she didn't care enough to say anything about it. They wouldn't have to wait long anyway, right? Right. Because now it seemed it was their turn.
She followed Gideon, Anya, and Tag over to the dragon, picking up one of the spare leashes. Then she looked over at their fifth group member. "C'mon, Zack," she said. He seemed to be the only one who hadn't grabbed a leash yet, and they couldn't do it if one leash wasn't held by someone.
...Or could they?
Roro patiently waited for the team in red to assemble and when he thought they were ready really they were missing one he started dwagon!skipping away.
To the hoomans, it probably looked like Roro was stomping and dragging them along at a ridiculous pace, but to Roro, this was FUN. Wasn't this FUN, going on a walk, hoomans? WAS THIS NOT FUN?

But Nigel was also confused, the dragon was tugging them to water on the barn floor. Well we could just let Roro drink but the assignment was to walk him. So Nigel said "Come on Roro lets walk around some more after you have had your drink of water" Even if it was disgusting water on a barn floor.

They were moving if they wanted to or not. She held tight on the leash to make sure they didn't loose control. She walked along the side of Roro,"Are you guys doing okay?" She wanted to make sure that her friends were doing well and not having trouble with their leashes. This was just so exciting getting to walk Roro she thought to herself.

So she let RoRo lead them to the large pool of water in the middle of the barnyard. As she saw RoRo heading towards it, she called out to everyone. "Uh guys, I do hope that RoRo just wants a drink and not a swim because if he does, we're going to have to try to keep him from going in it or we're going to end up going in there with him. So hold on tight everyone." Alyssa advised the others.

Hehehe!

The second year was making sure Sophie hadn't hurt herself when Nigel called over to them to see if they were okay. "All good over here." She said, giving him a thumbs up. That had been close though. They would have to be careful not to let Roro tug them too much.

"I know I don't mind getting wet, but I don't think that I want to go swimming with a dragon in it." Alyssa shuddered just thinking about it.
Roro didn't know what this group was talking about but he was done licking the tiny puddle now. The puddle only contained about a water-bottle sized amount of liquid anyway, and if he was going to get a REAL drink, then he needed more water than that.
So the dragon started off to go investigate something else, wandering to the edge of the barn and the last row of hay bales. He came up on one and bit it, then made a loud, "EORRRRRRKEEEEEE!" sound and started nudging it with his nose.

Walking a dragon was scary wondered if anything out go wrong, but other wise amazing! Looking up at Roro Angelina smiled. She continued to walk with Nerida and asked, '"Have you ever done this before?"
Angelina was a bit worried if Roro would do something off the wall but so far nothing has gone wrong and all was good. Looking over at Jory while Nerida asked when a good time to switch would be, she spoke up and said, "You can switch any time you feel like it." Angelina could see the look in his eye that he wanted to any ways.
Now that his handlers seemed comfortable with his walk, Roro started to pick up the pace a bit. He swished his tail as he walked and started trying to make fire come out of his nose. Maybe if he walked really really really fast, he'd be able to build up some firepower and snort it out? Maybe?
Roro was gonna try it anyway. He popped open his wings and started to more or less dragon!jog.

Aww hoomans were petting him! Roro liked that. He slowed down, his eyes twinkling, and made a happy!baby sound like he a... dragon purr?
Then he sat down and started scratching at the harness on his back, wiggling his but and bum as he tried to reach a leg back to scratch it. "EAWWWWWK," Roro squawked, hoping one of the nice hoomans would scratch it!
Desiree realized she had accidentally caused some drama, apparently the Slytherin she asked and the Hufflepuff didn't get along... or something. She hadn't meant any harm, she was just trying to make a group of four. But she didn't mind whether the girl was in their group or not, she could leave if she wanted to, because she saw Nora ask her to join her group too, so she had other options.
Laura looked at Desiree and smiled. "We'll both look after you Zhenya." Laura said hugger her BFF, seriously if this dog dragon wanted to hurt anyone then it could take on Laura, she wasn't affraid of it, the dragon was small compared to dragons she had seen being beaten on films and so Laura was sure she could sort it out if it became nasty.

Laura picked up the lead, when suddenly Roro was pulling them. "Wooooooooo Boy, Woooooooooo I have some doggy treats in my bag if you behave." Laura smiled, she hadn't realised that was what had upset Roro. "See Zhenya this is just like walking a dog." Laura looked around whilst trying to hold on. "All you have to do is hold on and eventually he'll realise you aren't going to be moved." Laura smiled. "Come on Roro there's a good boy calm down." Laura was hoping to get the dragon to calm down.

Nigel was glad Roro finally started to walk around after he got his drink of the dirty puddle water. Nigel and the group did not want Roro splashing or stomping in the puddle and making water go everywhere. Nigel kept a firm hold on his leash in case Roro decided to run after something that catches his interesting, like another puddle for instance. "Where do you want to go now Roro?"
Once he asked the question Roro started moving. He and the group followed Roro to the edge of the barn and saw that he was headed to the last row of hay bales. Nigel wondered what Roro was planning to to with them and hoped he the group did not have to fix it.
He saw Roro bite one bale and yell loudly. Nigel slipped the leash around his arm and covered his ears. Once it was over he saw Roro nudging the bale. "Is something you want in the bale Roro?". Nigel hoped Roro did not just want to re-arrange the classroom because that would mean more work for his group putting the items back.

Alyssa was glad that RoRo was only thirsty and was actually drinking from a small puddle of water. She had actually thought that he was headed for the kiddie pool that she had seen earlier inside the barnyard, when she was sitting outside. So she was glad that RoRo was now moving on to some bales of hay which seemed to have caught it's eye because he was nudging around in it.
"What are you looking for RoRo? Are you having fun in there?" Ayssa kept an eye on the baby to make sure that the bales didn't fall on him.

Reason: Adding more stuff to my post. Typing on my iPhone is not helping xD
blahblahblah again. Alyssa, Nigel, Ella, Messer and Minnie.
Sophie was holding on to the leash firmly and nodded as everyone asked if she was alright. Oh, but most of them couldn't see her right now, since they were focused on Roro and the two older girls were in front of them. "Yeah, I'm fine." She said, still watching Roro try to dring the water. Hehe!
Oh, and there they went again! Sophie was careful enough this time not to trip or anything, so she walked slowly as the whole group moved along with Roro, eyeing the floor in front of her feet all the time and grabbing the leash.
Gosh, this walking a dragon thing was too complicated! Holding on to the same part of the leash with someone else made it hard to walk around.
??? What was the dragon doing now? Merlin, thinking that made Sophie blink a couple of times. She was actually walking a DRAGON! Terrifying... but cool, nonetheless! Sophie chuckled when Roro bit the hay bale. That was actually really cute! She couldn't help but smile at the little not-so-little creature. When Roro started nudging it with his nose, Sophie watched curiously. "Or maybe it's something behind it!" She said after Nigel asked Roro if there might be something the creature wanted in the hay bale.
What a weird lesson this was! In a interesting way, of course!
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

He took a step forward Roro and found it hard to do the next step. “Relax Mordaunt, you’re just going to walk a giant lizard…with wings.” The boy told himself and finally got one of the leashes at the back.
SPOILER!!: Kurumi, Sierra and Daichi
Bad idea.
Clutching the leash like his life depended on it, Daichi's knuckles turned white. He kept thinking why on earth he was doing this as he looked at the dragon. Feeling a hand on his shoulder, the fourth year Snake turned to see Mordred giving him a look. A look he knew all to well cause he had seen it many times..and it always worked. It was a look that someone cared about an other, in this case a team mate. Daichi nodded his head with a faint smile and then turned to Sierra.
SPOILER!!: Sierra

"Dude," she said, looking over at him as he was beginning a panic attack, or so it seemed. "He can't really understand English." Hollingberry's just an idiot. "I think we're fine." She gestured toward the dragon. "Besides, he's wagging his tail like some faithful cruppie. I don't think he hates anybody." Not right now, at least.
Was he going to walk now?!
oh right...dragons didn't speak english.. wouldn't even understand it, they couldn't right?
"R-right.." Daichi answered but still looked a bit warily. He loosened the leash he was holding though and then let out a half giggle half snort. Faithful Cruppie, heh.
Daichi frowned a little as Sierra asked Mordred if he was scared of the dragon *too*. Was she saying what he thought she was saying? "H-hey! i-i'm not scared of the d-dragon!" hmm yeah the stutter didn't really help didn't it? But he was telling the truth. He wasn't scared of the dragon but what dragons could do. Breathe fire and the only reason why he was being so timid was because he was afraid the creature would set fire to the whole place...
Daichi shivered at his own thoughts when he heard the joke about feeding kurumi to the dragon. For the first time since the lesson, Daichi's eyes fixed directly at Sierra and he tried to give her a glare. Which obviously failed and he just looked funny, but at least he was trying. "That is not funny" he said clearly and without a stutter this time. He didn't say more though because she IS his Prefect and they were both on the Quidditch team.

He raised an eyebrow as he saw how the man was filling the pool with ...something.. from the buckets and he couldn't help but wonder what it was.
Wait...they weren't supposed to CLEAN the dragon?! O__O
SPOILER!!: Cute widdle dwagon~!

A sudden movement caught his attention as he looked back at the dragon and he saw that he was tucking in his wings. The creature looked less frightening now... As he began to walk, Daichi held on to the leash followed Roro's direction, hoping the others would walk along as well. He didn't think that would be a problem though , seeing as this was a DRAGON.
Daichi flinched as the dragon suddenly showed it's tooth and the first thought in mind was that it was going to snap at them. He clutched the wand he was holding the whole time more tighter just in case. It looked cute though, the dragon. A small nervous smile tucked on his lips as he looked at the dragon. But he didn't want to take any chances, he NEEDED to be on his guard and didn't care if someone thought he was a coward at the moment.
