Winter was setting in to the grounds and with it came a whole new set of responsibilities for taking care of the growing dragon known as Roro. Dragons were wild creatures and by nature liked to have free roam of wherever they were living; however, having a dragon at an educational institution meant that Professor Williamson had to take certain safety precautions when getting said dragon ready for winter.
Today, he had set up the barn for an afternoon full of work; the students didn't know it yet, but they were all going to be acting as dragonologists in training today. First things first though, they had to get here, and Willy had to finish setting up.
Sitting just outside the barn door was a horseshoe-shaped assortment of hay bales, all of which had been charmed to feel as though one was sitting on a sun-warmed rock. Inside the open barn, and just visible to those sitting on the hay bales, was a giant, emptybaby pool and something that looked like a big harness....
No professor was in sight though. While you wait for class to start, why not take a seat and at least keep your bum warm?
Zhenya snuck up behind Laura and wrapped her arms around her quickly. She let them go and said "Want to work together?" and smiled nervously. She wasn't very happy to be working with a dragon... wait, what would they be doing? She was scared, anyway, and didn't want to die.
They were walking a dragon? Well it was a pet for now.. but still, that was kind of weird. It explained the harness though. And Roro seemed pretty harmless..
Desiree looked over at Zhenya who she was already standing by, but they needed more for a group. Just then Zhenya asked a Hufflepuff to join them, she looked familiar, but she hadn't talked to her before. She seemed to be a friend of Zhenya's so she smiled to the girl, "Hi, I'm Desiree" she introduced herself.

"Anyone want to partner up?" She wanted to get this over and done with.
Oh right. They needed four people, so she started looking for another person wandering around without a group. It didn't take long. She spotted another Slytherin, she didn't know her name either.. did she just not know anyone's name anymore?
She gave her a small smile, "You can join us if you want. I'm Desiree by the way, and this is Zhenya." She didn't introduce the Hufflepuff, because well, she didn't know her.

Mordred smirked at the little commotion that happened just a few feet away from him. Kurumi must be freezing now. The professor then asked them to group themselves. Well. He was hoping he’d get to walk the dragon alone, but for obvious reasons, WWW will not allow it. Mordred moved to where Daichi, Sierra and Kurumi were. “Need another member?” he asked as he kept his hands in his pockets. Well, isn’t this a bit weird? Sierra and Kurumi in the same group?

"Anyone want to partner up?" She wanted to get this over and done with.
They had to walk Roro? Erm... why did they need groups of at least four?
...
Looking around through the craziness that was surrounding her, Nora happened to hear a younger Slytherin who needed a partner. Smiling, she walked over there. "We can be partners, if you want. Although we still need someone else, I think." Pffft. This was the reason Nora hated team work. Always the fuss to get partners and all. Working on her own and not depending on anyone was so much better for her. Hehe.
Minerva smiled at everyone, "I think that might have been the easiest group forming I have ever had." She then laughed a bit when Alyssa started cleaning off her face, "Ahhh your getting me wet." she laughed as water sprayed off of Alyssa and hit her a bit. "I still can't believe you got that in your mouth. Gross." She turned to the other five members, "What do you think we will be doing?"

"Anyway I think the Professor said that we're supposed to take Roro for a walk. I noticed a strange looking harness in the barnyard, so here's hoping that's for him."
"If not maybe you can pull him by his ears, Minnie. He seems to like you."Alyssa grinned at her friend

Nigel then turned around and saw Alyssa explain the task again and suggest to Minnie that she should pull Roro by his ears.
He waited and watched to see if she would do it.
Sophie chuckled as Alyssa washed herself. But she was all wet now! "You don't mind being all wet, Alyssa?" It was pretty cold and she had washed her clothes too! "Careful not to catch a cold or something!"
Then she turned to the younger boy. Whoa, he had pretty eyes! "It's nice to meet you too, Nigel!" She said smiling at him.

Then she overheard that voice asking for partners. Sophie narrowed her eyes and turned her head slowly in the girl's direction. EEVIIIL! Yeah, that girl didn't deserve any partners! Sophie hoped she would find none. That's right. NONE!
But wait. What? GAAASP!! Had that other Slytherin girl just asked evil Hannah to join the group THAT LAURA WAS IN?? Sophie frowned and moved around a little to be able to see Laura's reaction.

Ooh! Group work! And walking a dragon was cool! Her eyes scanned around the room. Her first thought was Messer, who she passed on walking in. But it looked like he was already claimed by a gang of Hufflepuffs.
Which gave her an idea.
She'd group up with Gryffindors!
"Tag! Penelope! Want to group up?" she said calling to the first years. She might as well partner with her two favorite first years, right? And by favorite... she meant the only ones she knew... Okay. Not exactly. She did like them both.
Now. They needed at least one more person.

How on earth their teacher thought it reasonable for a couple of school kids to watch over a dragon seemed sensible, he didn't know. Just knowing and thinking of all the possiblities of what could happen with this class today scared him.
"And we're really watching over this dragon?"Tag asked in a slow, hesitant voice.
They had to get in a group for this? Meh. Penelope didn't usually like when this happened since she didn't really know enough people to immediately group up with them, and the few she did know usually had someone else to partner or group with - like with Kurumi now.
But then she suddenly heard her name, and her head whipped out to find its source. Oh. Anya. And she seemed to have gotten Tag to go over too? Well at least it was someone she knew.
"Yeah, sure," Penelope answered, reluctantly uncurling herself from her position on the warm hay-bale and making her way over to the two Gryffindors. She reached them in time to hear Tag's question. "Guess so," she replied with a shrug. Then, remembering the professor's instructions that the groups had to have at least four people, she asked, "So we need another person, yeah?" Who would that be?

They were going to be walking a dragon. That very announcement had made Stella want to curl up into a ball even more, even if the only dragon she knew that was there at Hogwarts was Roro. So at least it wasn't like Professor Williamson had expected them to walk a full-grown dragon, but that didn't make her feel any less like this was a disaster in the making. Of course the younger students had all grouped up rather quickly. They didn't know any better, but she really didn't want to get near the blood. Roro was fine, if the dragon hadn't just eaten and gotten blood all over the place, but right now...
Taking a breath, she resigned herself to having to get it over with. Like herbology, and having to clean plant teeth, and she looked up as she heard someone asking for two more people for their group. The Slytherin prefect and João. At least she sort of knew one of them, if just from that DADA lesson last term. Hopefully he didn't remember her getting his wand away from him, and she finally stood up to slowly walk over. "I'll join your group, if you'd like?, " she replied, still occasionally glancing over at Roro to check on the progress of the feeding dragon. Eventually the blood would run out. At least, she hoped it would.
Kennedy turned to the Ravenclaw and nodded. "Yeah, that'd be great." He didn't want to be stereotypical, but Ravenclaws were smart, that would come in handy in case something went wrong.
Though, he doubted anything would go wrong, right?
RIGHT, group?

How about the others did the job and he just followed them from a safe distance?
And then, someone else joined them.
Reminding him of the task at hand.
He nodded shortly, face going as white as chalk. So they really had to walk a dragon. Even if it was only 'baby'.
At least the girl was Stella, someone João knew vaguely and would trust... sort of. At these matters, at least. His plans for leaving all the job to the others were going pretty well, because both were supposed to be good at classes and such...
Then a small girl approached them. João would usually be pretty nasty about it and simply do anything to break her enthusiasm, but today? Right in the presence of a DRAGON?
He was simply too weak to even answer her. She'd addressed Stella anyway. Bonus for her. As long as she was sensible and did what was told...
Well. Let the others decide. They were four now, so maybe this was good?
Good. Now they knew each other. Sort of. Not really. Kennedy stood there, making sure the Slytherin wouldn't bolt or worse, pass out like Kurumi had. Hehe. Yeah, he'd seen Daichi shower her with water.

Then someone called his name. He turned once more and this time met Addie, the Slytherin girl he had met during Divination class. "Hey, Addie," he greeted, with a grin and nod. "Go right ahead." Now they had....four people in their group.
Meh, not bad at all.
"Now that we've got our group assembled I guess we wait for instructions." Like NOW? Or unless there were more people looking for groups. Kennedy was more than excited to walk Roro, though he didn't show this. On the outside he was a cool, collected person waiting patiently.
Chelle could die. She didn't even know five or six people at Hogwarts yet. How on earth was she supposed to join a group? She looked around miserably.

So she looked around. Until she spotted someone she knew she could trust. Someone whom she had met in a very different situation than you would meet most people. But it was someone who she trusted so that was all that mattered. Walking over towards the seventh year and her possible group, Lily started to grin. "Hey... uh Stella. Can I join your group too? Please!" Then they would have four people... one for each leg of the dragon.... Not that that mattered very much since Roro was way bigger than them, or close to it.
What seemed like two seconds after she'd approached the Slytherin prefect to ask if she could join his group, Stella's careful eyeing of Roro the dragon was interrupted by the sound of someone speaking. Or, more accurately, coming close to begging that they'd be allowed to join her group, and she'd turned her head again to see Lily. Well, at least it's another Ravenclaw, she thought, even if she really wasn't afraid of being in a group of just Slytherins and herself. She hadn't been entirely certain of if João would remember or still be in a mood because of that Disarming incident last term, but other than that she was perfectly comfortable. "Well, it's alright with me," she said slowly, glancing back at the Slytherin boys to see if either of them were against the idea of a second year joining them, or if they were against her joining them.

As her attention had gone back to the boys, waiting to see if there was going to be any arguments or outright rejection, Stella's eyes widened as João took on the appearance of, if not a ghost, an Inferi. At least he'd nodded before that had happened, which she was going to take as agreement to at least her joining their group if not agreement for both her and Lily joining. I thought I was worried about how this was going to go, she thought, taking an involuntary step toward him. At least she didn't look like she was going to do a replay of Kurumi fainting on Daichi, and at least the Gryffindor prefect had been sitting down.

Before João fainted, though, Stella had found herself glancing around again at the sound of another person approaching and speaking to the prefect, asking to be a member of their group as well. Kennedy, she noted, even as he'd finally verbalized the agreement that she could be part of their group. Assuming that meant Lily could as well, she realized a group of five might be better than just four. Especially if the Brazilian boy fainted, because she wasn't about to leave him lying on the icky ground by himself. And she'd smiled at the other girl as it had been established her name was Addie, as Kennedy had said that they should wait for instructions.
That made perfect sense, but before that, she figured there was one more thing to take care of. Making sure they all knew each other's names, at least, if they were going to face a dragon together. "well, while we're waiting," she said, sending what she hoped was not a nervous smile toward the others. "I already met João, but I'm Stella. And this is Lily," she said, indicating the little second year who had spoken to her earlier. At least introductions were done, sort of. Now they could wait for their group's turn walking Roro, or whatever exactly it was Professor Williamson was going to have them do.

Laura looked at Zhenya and was glad that Zhenya had her arms around her because overwise she would have left by now, if she had to work with Hannah then she would but she wouldn't make it easy for Hannah.

She didn't even know many people at Hogwarts yet, and sharing group space with a much older student was awkward for her. But she decided that they had to walk a dragon, and they sure could use his help. Looking up at him again, she said, "I'm Chelle."

Okay. So Indy needed a group. They were gonna walk a a dragon that would be funky. But Indy was thinking about her group first. She was figuring that maybe it would be a good idea to like have a big older person in their group. Because then the dragon might not walk off too much. That would be successful. Indy smiled, as she looked around. Ooh. It was jonJon! Indy smiled, as she wandered over to him. Yup. This guy was being in her group. Indy had worked with him before, so she knew that it was going to be okay.
"JonJon we be in a group together? "She asked with a smile. They would totally be the awesome group. And Indy could totally not say no. Because she was really cute hehe. "We just need some more people." She mused looking around.
"Anyone wanna group with us?" Two people would do Indy thought. hehe.

As it was....Kurumi wasn't feeling or hearing anything at the moment. Which was probably a very good thing because Daichi putting his arm around her would have probably caused the sixth year to blush slightly.
However, Kurumi's 'sleep' was soon over when all of a sudden everything felt...cold....and DAMP...
Kurumi's eyes suddenly flew open and she toppled over her hay bale and onto the ground where she froze again like a dog playing dead for several long moments. She could vaguely hear a voice saying to stop, but she hadn't fully regained consciousness yet to be able to hear just who it was. Come to think of it...where was she? Outside...she knew that much because she was looking up at the sky...but other than that...
Propping herself up, Kurumi looked around and was a little perplexed to see that her classmates were present. Oh? Was she in a lesson? Funny how things worked out that way. This was rather helpful. Perhaps one of them could tell her how she got here and why. The why was answered a little later when she looked around and saw Professor Williamson and the Gryffindor was tempted to greet the man.
But then she heard Daichi apologizing and bowing. What was going on?
Completely ignorant of the fact that she was wet, Kurumi sat back down on the hay as if nothing had happened. Oh, they were supposed to partner up? "Daichi, want to work with me?" On whatever it is we are supposed to be doing?
Daichi continued to mumble apologies to the Professor when he heard a dull thud coming from beside him. He turned his head to look and...
KURUMI WAS GONE!
Where'd she go? where'd she go?! Had he blown her up?! it wouldn't be the first time for him to blow something up with his magic but but but he had NEVER blown up a PERSON!
Seeing a movement from below , Daichi fixed his eyes on behind the hay bale and saw the Prefect lying on the ground. Alive. Letting out a breath of relief , Daichi watched as she propped herself up. "I-i'm so sorry!" The Professor wasn't going to take points right?
"U-uhm.. i would dry you with a spell Joao showed me once but..i don't think that would be a good idea..." no ..definitely not a good idea.
The Hufflepuff Slytherin had thought that Kurumi would ask what was going on. But when she only asked if he wanted to be her partner his mouth dropped open. She had just fainted, then got drenched by a aguamenti charm and now she was sitting on the hay bale as if NOTHING had happened?!

Of course Sierra was only laughing on the inside. For now. Later on, in the safety of their own common room, she'd pat ole Daichi boy on the back and have a good laugh then.
"It's okay, Daichi," she said, patting the boy on the back. "You were just trying to help." Turning to Hollingberry, she added, "You okay, Kurumi?" Seeeeeee....
Sierra could be nice. Hey, Willy, can I have my ten house points for being nice now?!
"Daichi, Kurumi, do you guys need an extra group member?" she asked. Do you hear me being nice, Willy?! TEN POINTS. TEN POINTS.
Before he could finish his sentence, the fourth year felt a hand on his back. Turning his head, Daichi found out that the hand belonged to his prefect and he blinked. "I..y-yeah! i was just trying to help!" The corners of his mouth tucked upwards in to a bright smile. Kurumi was fine right? and she had woken up so basically he had helped!
"Extra group member? for what?" Everything had happened so fast the past few minute or two that he was completely dazed on what was going on in the lesson. That was, until he saw the dragon again. "Oh..." he didn't really look to happy. What if the dragon breathed fire when they were walking it? Seriously Williamson?! Walking a DRAGON?! "O-okay.." why did he say okay? he should have said NO cause dragon's were CUTE..NO DANGEROUS...and FIREYBREATHY!

In other words, she caught the sarcasm. He was so cute when he brought in the sarcasm.
"Does anybody need a group member?!" she suddenly asked. Willy? You? Hmm? Hmm?

Kurumi sort of just cocked her head to the side when Daichi mentioned a spell to dry herself off. "Huh?" she asked, confusion plastered all across her face. "Why would I need to dry....oh"It was then that Kurumi realized that she was, actually, soaked to a certain extent. Odd. How had that happened? Shrugging her shoulders, Kurumi sort of just waved her hand to signal to Daichi that it was no big deal. What he said next startled her a little. Cool? She was cool? She was a little chilly...
But before she could reply Sierra made her appearance...willingly? Kurumi's eyes narrowed for a brief moment out of suspicion, but her expression quickly softened when she heard the Slytherin ask if she was alright. "I'm fine, thank you for asking. How are you?" Since they seemed to be asking how each other were and all. Did this mean that Sierra wanted to be her friend? Was she making THE big gesture now? Did Sierra finally see that Kurumi wasn't someone she had to hate? Few people would have covered for her the way Kurumi had when the girl had run away from home and gone to Kurumi's home...IN JAPAN.

"Anyone wanna group with us?" Two people would do Indy thought. hehe.
Group. WHY?
Jonathan was not really in the mood for looking for group members right now. It was cold and he was tired. He just wanted to sleep BUT BUT they were going to have some awesomeness time with the dragon. Jonathan didn't want to miss this either. It is cute and cuddly and it may breathe fire and someday will become bigger and strong.
Then when he was about to stand up and look for a group on his own, Indy came to him and asked him to be in a group together. Jonathan smiled at her he stood up. Of course they both remember each other from that bookclub meeting. She was fun and he is now definitely going to look forward to another of their---
WAIT! WHAT?!
Jonathan's eyes widened and stared at her. Did she just call him JonJon? Was this his official nickname? NOOOOO!!!! But Jonathan decided not to scold her about it, besides, it's not like he'll ever hear that nickname again, right? Well, during reunions maybe. But what would be the odds for them to remember his nickname is JonJon.
He nodded. "Sure" of course he wanted to be in her group. It's not like he was doing well in finding his own. "Yeah about 2 more..." he added. He's just hoping they could find 2 more people just in time for them to be completed.
Kennedy turned to the Ravenclaw and nodded. "Yeah, that'd be great." He didn't want to be stereotypical, but Ravenclaws were smart, that would come in handy in case something went wrong.
Though, he doubted anything would go wrong, right?
RIGHT, group?
As soon as Oichi heard that there was gonna be a group activity Oichi saw groups forming at a lightning rate like all the other times. She remembered the professor said 4-6 per group. Oichi noticed a group of 5 and walked up to them and said, "Hi, I'm Oichi and I don't have a group yet. Mind if I become you're 6th member?".

Laura had been standing next to Zheyna when suddenly the girl Desiree asked Hannah to join the group, it was bad enough that Laura was in a group with all the Slytherins but Hannah had picked on her friend Sophie and if Laura could she would have fed Hannah to the dragon but she didn't think the Professor would allow that.
Laura looked at Zhenya and was glad that Zhenya had her arms around her because overwise she would have left by now, if she had to work with Hannah then she would but she wouldn't make it easy for Hannah.
Laura was about to tell Desiree her name when Zhenya got there first. "Yeah I'm Laura." Laura smiled she liked this girl, she was sure they could be friends but no way would she ever be friends with Hannah, that girl was just mean. "Zhenya, you can do it, I'll help you do it." Laura would do anything for Zhenya.
Zhenya smiled at Sophie and saw that he didn't want to be in a group with the other slytherin. She remembered in the topiary garden when she saw them having a fight and poor Sophie was upset. "if you don't want to be in a group with her, that's fine we can leave her out," Zhenya said. She felt mean saying it but she did see te other girl being mean to Sophie and Zhenya didn't like it when people were mean.
"Laura I don't know if I can do it... I'm too scared," she whispered.

"Right..." Anya said watching the dragon carefully. "Good... good to know..." Hopefully there would be no dragon headbutting today...
Ooh!
Was it only Zack without a group? He needed a group urgently now. He would not miss a walk with the dragon. No way was he not going to miss that.
He looked around the class with alarmed eyes. So there he was. He saw Anya asking few people to group up. So now, they could be a pair of four if they made a group.
He quickly called up to her "Hey Anya. You want me to pair up with you?" he asked. He wasn't even sure if this was a good idea. Dragons’ could be dangerous at times.
Maybe if i don't have a partner professor could send me back to the common room he thought.

He could feel.... something. A resistance? Shyness? Perhaps his towering over them didnt help the fact that they dont know him. Not that he could blame them, he only goes to back to the common room to get his books and sleep. "Hello Chelle, I'm Vickers." he introduced himself as he sat down on the hay bale, at least now they were at eye level. They're not a group yet? "There's three of us, we're a group right?" Sure looks like to him.

Vickers. Cute name.
Chelle smiled and replied, "Good to see ya, Vickers." She was feeling more comfortable as he sat down. It seemed to somehow ease the tension between them.
"Oh yeah, it should be enough, I guess. I only said that because Professor wanted a group of five or six..." she said. Or because she was feeling uncomfortable. But she wasn't anymore, and she hoped a group of three would be enough to tackle a dragon.
Chelle could die. She didn't even know five or six people at Hogwarts yet. How on earth was she supposed to join a group? She looked around miserably.
As Chelle spotted another Ravenclaw girl looking as lost as she was, she went up to her. "Hey, you need a group?" she asked her. 'Cause I need one, too. "Maybe we could pair up first, and then find a few more people?"
Silvia spotted a Ravenclaw around her age walking towards her. "Hi. I'd be happy to work with you," she said, glad to have found someone to work with. She definitely didn't want to be left out of this activity. Just then another student walked up.

'Course he's been wrong before.
Vickers turned to look around. People have started grouping themselves and his eyes wandered towards where Kurumi sat lookng drenched, a Slytherin boy looking all flustered and Sierra looking like she was going to burst from laughing. He started to make his way towards them when his sight fell on two young Ravenclaw girls, neither of them being any older than third years he could gauge. And this was a dragon, they probably would need someone a little stronger in case Roro gets out of hand. He turned towards their direction and smiled "Hi, mind if I join your group? "

Ooooh, an older student? That was great, really. Someone who was bigger would be very helpful when dealing with a dragon. Otherwise, the dragon just might end up walking her rather than the other way around because of how small she was.
"Sure, you can join us," she said. And then addressing both of her new group-mates, "I'm Silvia."

"Thanks Silvia"he replied. Well now at least they know each other's name. He turned when Chelle when she was concerned about the size of the group. He looked around, so far he hasnt seen a lone student that looked like they needed to be adopted "Well, we'll see what the Professor wants to have us do, then maybe one or some of us can do double duty if we really are one person short." Was this kid related to Selena? They were two of the most Hufflepuff-type Slytherins she knew. Ahh, well, though. She could deal with it as long as Daichi here belonged to the house of green and silver. They all had greatness in them somewhere, no matter what their personality type seemed to be. "Riiiiight," Sierra said, smirking at Daichi. "...just trying to help." Too bad he really was just trying to help. Drenching Hollingberry on purpose would have earned him so many awesome points with his prefect.
"Dude," she said, looking at the way he was eyeing the dragon. "It's just a baby. It's probably as harmless as a flobberworm." Although, on the inside, Sierra was secretly planning on sticking Daichi and Hollingberry closest to the nostrils of the creature. "It'll be alright..."

Watching Kurumi as she realized how soaking wet she was, Sierra smirked. "Having trouble sleeping at night, hmm?" she asked. Worried too much about which dictionary will be the next meal? Ohh, Kurumi was such a Gryffindor--worried about Sierra when she was the one who fell asleep right in the middle of class and got drenched to the bone. Humorous, really. Sierra should startle her by telling her she missed loads of opportunities to earn house points. How was Sierra, though? "Fabulous," she said, with a certain degree of sarcasm.
It was freezing out, she was partnered with Hollingberry and the should-have-been Hufflepuff, and they were about to walk about a dragon. What's NOT to love?! [/sarcasm]
"Oh, hey, Mordred," she said, her tone lightening considerably upon seeing another Slytherin approach them. "Yeah, cool. I think we're allowed six." ...and this made three Slytherins and a Gryffindor. Out-numberedddddd, Hollingberry!

Wake up Kurumi?!
Gideon turned to look at his fellow prefect only to see her out of it. Other students around her followed Professor Williamson's direction, soon soaking the poor girl and keeping the other sixth year lion in his seat seeing as she needed need to be crowded around when there were others there already. Hopefully she would be alright though seeing as her sleeping didn't make sense knowing what he did about her. And the slytherin boy had mentioned possible fainting.
His distraction with his friend, he missed the mention of grouping up with three to five others to walk the dragon and Gideon couldn't help but sigh. Not another group activity where he was left searching around for anyone left over for him to pair up with. "Any group have room for another person?" he asked aloud standing up and looking around for any possible options.
